Ctxload can't find a file in the current directory

I am trying to load a thesaurus file using ctxload. The file is in the current directory. I can use a text editor to modify it. But ctxload always complains that "file not found." Why?

I have the latest iTunes version and haven't seen that feature.
From the iTunes menu bar you will find it at iTunes>Provide iTunes Feedback.
It is also on the main iPod +iTunes page. Click on the iPod + iTunes tab at the top of this page and look near the bottom, its in small type with a pencil icon next to it.
Hope this helps.

  • Infopath submit - how to hide - Save as dialog box - You can only save this file to the current site

    HI,
    I have a infopath form. In the submit options, i have used the below:
    submit options -
    sharepoint document library
    Data connection - Sharepoint Library Submit
    Doc library - lib location
    File name: concat("User Info - ", ResourceName, "-", PersonalID)
    Allow overwrite if file exists is checked.
    When I try to save a record, I am getting a popup:
    Save As:
    You can only save this file to the current site
    File Name: textbox
    save location: doc lib.
    save, cancel buttons.
    How to override this save as option(save as option should not be shown to user), and save the file using the file name mentioned?
    Thanks

    Are you clicking "Save" when you're using the form or "Submit"??
    You should be using "Submit" and it will ... submit your form to the document library with the file name you specified.
    To disable the "Save" button, click on "File" then "Form Options". Under the "Filler Features" area you can uncheck the box beside "Save and Save As". Click OK then re-publish your form.

  • CF10 on JBoss7 going though IIS7, CF can't find cfm file in the website root.

    Our currently environment is CF8 running using JRun4 (via the wsconfig tool ) with IIS 6.0 has the webserver. We are trying to migrate our environment to CF10 using JBoss7 as the processing engine with IIS7 as the webserver.
    We have managed to configure the ISAPI Connector so that IIS sends .cfm, requests to JBoss7
    The issue we are running into is that when calling a .cfm file ISAPI Connector, ColdFusion cannot fine the file inside the IIS website root. Yet if the cfm. file resides in the cfusion.war root, then ColdFusion finds the file and processes it.

    HI! I'm using jdk1.3 on WINDOWS 98. I'v made two
    classes in same package.Compiling of first class was
    ok but when i tried to compile second class (which
    uses first class) I get the message: can not resolve
    symbol: (name of first class). I'v tried to put these
    classes in same folder but it still doesn't work.I'v
    tried with javac -classpath. but i get the same
    message. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!You might need to post your directory structure. Let's say you have "package mypackage;" as the first line in both files. Let's call the files ClassA and ClassB. Then you need a directory named mypackage. Put the successfully-compiled class ClassA file into it, or put both .java files into it.
    Now the compiler needs to be able to find the .class file or at least be able to find the .java file. To find a dependent class, the compiler looks through the directories in the Classpath for the fully qualified class name. Fully qualified means package name plus class name. In my example, if compiling ClassB requires ClassA, the compiler looks for mypackage.ClassA. So if the mypackage directory is in c:\myjava (meaning the file path to ClassA is c:\myjava\mypackage\ClassA), then c:\myjava must be 'in' your Classpath.
    If you do not have a Classpath set on your system, the default is the current directory. So you could "cd c:\myjava" then "javac mypackage\ClassB.java" If you do have a Classpath, then you could add c:\myjava to your Classpath. Another option is "javac -classpath c:\mypackage ClassB.java"

  • Ctxload can't find thesaurus file

    I am using Oracle 10.1 on Linux. I could not find the supplied thesaurus file dr0thsus.txt under $ORACL_HOME/ctx/sample/thes. So I copied it from somewhere else, and put it under my user account.
    When I tried to load it with the following command under the same directory as dr0thsus.txt,
    ctxload -user xxx/yyy -thes -name DEFAULT -file dr0thsus.txt
    I got the following error:
    DRG-11513: file not found; arguments: []
    file not found; arguments: [Fail to OCIInitialize...]
    What did I do wrong?
    Thanks for your help!

    As a Linux user, I own the dr0thsus.txt file. I can open it in a text editor.
    As an Oracle user, I have ctxapp privilege. I can create CONTEXT indices, and create thesauri using CTX_THES package.
    But I can't load dr0thsus.txt into a thesaurus.

  • HT2531 How can Spotlight find a file in the Library (in an app's plugin folder)?

    I'm writing a plugin for SketchUp that lives in SketchUp's plugins folder in the system Library.  Even when I put an alias of the plugins folder out on the desktop, Spotlight can't seem to find it (my plugin file).  I've learned the trick of using the option key to reveal the Library folder in the Go menu, but why does the file remain 'hidden' from Spotlight after I've drug an alias of its folder out to the desktop?
    I also tried using Terminal to patch Hidden to NoHidden without reliable results.  Yuck.
    Thanks for any help you can offer,
    John Trotter

    To view system and hidden files, use the Finder (cmd-F) to find.
    From the criteria popup menu, select Other...
    From that list that pops up, find System Files and Visibility; check both so they stay in the menu.
    When searching for system files or hidden files, use those criteria.

  • Finding a file in the current executable jar file.

    Hi all,
    I am writing a little command line type application and I thought it would be neat to embed it's 'help file' into it's executable JAR file.
    Please can someone show me how to code my application to extract a file from the JAR file from which the Main.class also came?
    (Is that possible?)
    I've been looking around, I can find out how to work with a different JAR file but NOT how to examine the currently 'executing' one.
    Many thanks,
    - jon.

    Excellent! Thank you very much. It's easy when you know how. This works a treat!:
         private static void printHelp() {
              InputStream helpFile = Misql.class.getClassLoader().getResourceAsStream("doc/MISQLhelp.txt");
              if (helpFile == null) {
                   _out.println("Help file: doc/MISQLhelp.txt not found.");
                   return;
              try {
                   int c;
                   while ((c = helpFile.read()) != -1)
                        _out.write(c);
                   helpFile.close();
              } catch (IOException e) {
                   // TODO Auto-generated catch block
                   e.printStackTrace();
              return;

  • Working with scanner which can't find my file

    Hi, all:
    I'm working with the Scanner class for the first time, and I'm trying to go through the tutorial. I'm using Eclipse. When I try to access the file called "xanadu.txt" when running the application ScanXan, I'm throwing a file not found exception. I have the file xanadu.txt in the same location as the class file, and for good measure I tried to explicitly specify where the file was when accessing it. Apparently one can't do that. What am I doing wrong?

    Yes, the tutorial is assuming the text file is in the same directory as the class file. But how does your program know which directory that is? It looks up the current directory, which is stored in the system properties under the key "user.dir" when the JVM starts up. It's actually the directory from which java.exe was executed, but if the class you're running is in the default package (as yours is), the class file has to be in the same directory.
    However, IDE's tend to create their own environments in order to facilitate debugging, profiling, etc. They pretty much ignore the PATH and CLASSPATH settings in your OS--in fact, they usually use their own compilers. As a result, you can't make any assumptions about the current directory.
    I'm not saying the IDE definitely is causing the problem, just that it muddies the water. Also, it can be difficult for neophytes to keep Java knowledge separate from IDE knowledge. There's so much to learn in both areas, it's best to get a good grounding in Java before you start learning the IDE.
    @Farmor, the {color:000080}try{color} block is only there so they can add the {color:000080}finally{color} block, which makes sure the stream gets closed; the exception is handled by the {color:000080}throws{color} clause in the method declaration.

  • Can a unsigned jar file access the tmpdir (java.io.tmpdir)?

    Hello, according to the JNLP tutor, a signed jar file can access the local file system, but a unsigned one can not. My question is, can a unsigned jar file access the temp directory (the system property java.io.tmpdir)? I think the temp directory should be accessible even though it is part of the local file system.
    Thanks,
    LyLi

    no - unsigned application has no read/write access to the temp dir, but you can use the jnlp api to read and write files with the users permssion.

  • Telling ID CS5 to seek a linked file in the current folder

    For at least 5 years (and all the versions of ID), I've been unable to set up a link on text or a graphic that, when clicked, will open another PDF, because I want Acrobat Reader to look for the new PDF file in the same folder/directory as the current PDF.
    For all those years, my workaround has been to create the PDF and then in Acrobat use the Link tool (Tools > Advanced Editing > Link Tool) to select a rectangle over the text or graphic and set up a link to the file in the current directory. When I do the link this way, then save the PDF, then move the PDF to a different computer, Acrobat Reader can find the file in the current directory, even though the explicit path in the link is to a directory that does not exist on this second computer.
    So, today, I thought I'd see whether ID CS5 now sets up what I want. I selected some text, selected New Hyperlink from the Hyperlinks menu, told it I wanted to open a file. I have tried two seperate ways to describe the file, neither of which allows Acrobat Reader to correctly find the file:
    I browsed to the file (mnd.pdf) in the current directory where both the x.indd file is and the x.pdf file will be. When I take the finished x.pdf file to a new computer and click on the link, Reader puts up an error it cannot find the file, and it names the explicit path from the first computer (which intentionally does not exist on the second computer).
    I typed in ".\mnd.pdf" as the standard notation meaning to look in the current directory. In this case, Reader on the second computer does not put up an error, but no file opens. Basically, nothing happens when I click on the link (except for the warning asking me wheher I want to allow this operation).
    Bottom line questions: How can I set up a link in ID CS5 that will always look for a file named "MND.pdf" and always in the same directory as the currently open PDF? I know I can make it happen in Acrobat 9, but it's inefficient to have to set up the link every time I re-create a PDF instead of once in the InDesign file.
    Thanks,
    John

    Hi, Jongware,
    It is a bug since CS4, agravated in CS5, because until CS3 it worked very well.
    In fact, it worked through out a lot of pages. I think this was not created only to pages side-by-side but in fact to those articles that continued several pages ahead. So, in a magazine, when one has to break an article and continue this article in other page, one could (and still can) put a text frame in the of the first part of the article and type "Continue on [next page marker]". Then link this text frame with a new text frame on the page where the article continues, (on top of 2nd part of the article) and type "Continued from [previous page marker]".
    This situation – where text frames are in the document pages – still works fine.
    The problem is when this is a constant and you want to put it in master pages, and now it simply does't work. I mean, when every odd or even pages have both numbers. For me, it's a major problem, because several of my clients just love this!
    Is anyone of Adobe reading this? Are you going to help us and fix this problem, please?...

  • I just got a new MacBook Pro, and I tried to bring across my files from my last mac using time machine. After it was done copying I can't find my files anywhere but the space (about 130gb) has been used on my hard drive. Help please!!

    I just got a new MacBook Pro, and I tried to bring across my files from my last mac using time machine. After it was done copying I can't find my files anywhere but the space (about 130gb) has been used on my hard drive. Does anyone know how I can get to them? I did change my user name from 'user' while it was copying, could this have something to do with it?

    You don't want to do that by copying.
    Your best bet, by far, is to use Setup Assistant.  If your Mac is running Snow Leopard, see Using Setup Assistant on Snow Leopard or Leopard.
    If it came with Lion, it's a bit different: Using Setup Assistant on Lion

  • Can you copy/paste files from the Finder to Mail in Lion, or drag them onto the Mail icon in the Dock to create a new message and attach the files to it?

    Message title says it: Can you copy/paste files from the Finder to Mail in Lion, or drag them onto the Mail icon in the Dock to create a new message and attach the files to it?
    I can't find anything in the Knowledge Base that says these two options no longer work or still do.
    I do not have a system capable of running Lion, but I need to know the answer nonetheless.

    Gee, I don't know: "paste attachments mail Lion"? ;-)
    One further question, if I may: in Panther (which is where I've aggregated nearly 7 years of mail), if you copy more than one file in the Finder, switch to Mail, and paste the files into a new message, only the file names paste in. If you copy one file and paste it into a Mail message, you get the file, not just the name. Is that still true, or has that (IMHO) bug been fixed since 10.3.9?

  • How can I find a photo from the backup file in my pc?

    How can I find a photo from the backup file in my pc?
    I have accidentally erased a photo. It happened after the backup.

    I am not aware you can extract a single photo or a single app's content from the backup, you can either restore the whole backup to your phone or not restore. If you restore your last backup to your phone then any content that is currently on your phone will be replaced with what was on it at the time that the backup was made - so if you do decide to restore, first copy off any purchases to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases, and copy any documents/files that you've udpated on the phone since the backup.
