CUA With Two R/3 server Implementation

Hai All,
Currently we are using EP5.0 with SAP R/3 4.6C with two R/3 (P01,P02)servers. User id is managed in LDAP. That is,
1. user u will be accessing P01 R/3 system we will create a user id in LDAP and a SAP userid IN P01 R/3 system
2. user u will be accessing P02 R/3 system we will create a user id in LDAP and a SAP userid IN P02 R/3 system
3. user u will be accessing P01 & P02 R/3 system and we will create a user id in LDAP and one SAP userid in P01 R/3 system and another userid IN P02 R/3 system.
This the current framework, using single sign on the user are logged into different R/3 box.
Now we plan to upgrade to EP7 and use CUA,
a. If we use CUA whether user id's for P01 and P02 can be created from P01 itself.
b. Is it possible to achive scenaio 3. Whether there will be any technical issue. If I assign P01 as CUA and I create a userid ZUSER1 in P02. When the user login to portal he will use the password of P02 system. After sometime if the same user is going to access P01 system. Then i will create a userid ZUSER1 in P01 system. Now the for P01 R/3 system the password generated is different from P02 system.Is there any way that P01 ZUSER1 password is synchronized with P02 ZUSER1 password.
c. Is CUA supported with SAP R/3 4.6 C

Le'ts say i have created new client 400 in P01 and i am using that as my CUA.
If I need to create two user in P01, client 300 as ZUSER1 and ZUSER2, When i create these user id's using CUA in client 400 of P01 server. Whether these userid's created in client 300 and 400 of server P01 and which clients password is used when i login to portal.
If I need to create two user in P02, client 300 as YUSER1 and YUSER2, When i create these user id's using CUA in client 400 of P01 server. Whether these userid's created in client 300 of server P02 and 400 of server P02 and which clients password is used when i login to portal.
Since you said that i need to point UME source to CUA master client, can i assume that whenever user id is created the CUA master client will store all user id's of P01 and P02 server.
If a person YUSER3 is going to login to P01(Userid ID YUSER3) and P02 server (Userid is YUSER3) and if password is not synchornized between all CUA clients(in our example P01 & P02) how can he login to portal with the same user id and access both P01 and P02 server.

I have deployed vmware horizon view connection server (Evaluation/Trial version), i want to integrate it with two factor authentication server. But after configuring RADIUS parameters in admin portal of connection server, it’s not allowing me to save the settings. Please suggest.

The SMTP server supports what is referred to as third party authentication. To take advantage of this you would need to provide all of the authentication code, however -- there's no way to do part of the authentication and then pass control back to the messaging server for the rest. So you'd need to do both password checks, one of which is presumably done via LDAP auth, yourself.
As far as LDAP proxy and RADIUS, we use a standard LDAP simple bind. The ODSEE LDAP proxy is often used in OCMS deployments, so that is a known good solution. We don't directly support RADIUS; the aforementioned third party authentication could be used to tie into such a system.

In a ACE router mode deployment, I have a single context configured with two interface for server side and two interface for client side. In this situation how can we meet the demands of customers arriving from both networks? How can the ACE handle the client request if we configure one default-gateway to each network?

Enable "mac-sticky" comand under each client inteface.
It will ensure that ACE sends the response to the MAC address from which the request to the VIP was recieved.

I'd like to get any feedback regarding performance of oracle directory server implementation. Below is what I copy&patested from 9i Net Services Administrator's Guide, I found no 'directory server vendor documentation', so anything regarding this is welcome too.
Performance
Connect identifiers are stored in a directory server for all clients to access.
Depending on the number of clients, there can be a significant load on a directory
server.
During a connect identifier lookup, a name is searched under a specific Oracle
Context. Because of the scope of the lookup, you probably want users to experience
relatively quick performance so that the database connect time is not affected. Users
may begin to notice slow connect times if lookups takes more than one second.
You can resolve performance problems changing the network topology or
implementing replication.

Dealing with two different sets of users but same OAM/SSO/OID Server?

In our application server's (OAS 10.1.2.) ssl.conf, we need to have the following as following since it's part of the requirement,
to ask for the user's Cert (CAC, SMARTCARD, X509). We have OAM 10.1.4.2.

However, using the same exact OAS 10.1.2.3 server, for only a specific URL containing
/web_html/ as a part of the URL, we need to bypass the SSLVerifyClient require and only
a server based SSL handshake is required when the SSO resource*(/sso/auth, or /pls/orasso/..)* is hitting
the OID server that is configured with the SSLVerifyClient.
SAME OID Server has to deal with two different organizations:
org1 ---> SSO ---> Client based X509 Cert Based Auth
org2 ---> SSO ---> Server Based SSL Handshake only
The SSLClientVerify does have the optional option to use and the users
can just click on CANCEL but the customer thinks is not very user friendly.
The screen that is displayed as a result of the SSLVerifyClient (Choose a Digital Certificate) seems to be
operating system dependent.
I hope, we won't need to have anther server just for this other organization.

We have OAM and it's performing the authentication.
The SSLVerifyClient is bring up the Choose a Digitial Cert screen and by selecting Cancel, everything works for userlogin/password users. The problem is the screen user friendliness.*
We are just trying to customize this screen so there is additional message or a different screen would be displayed instead of the generic screen from MicroSoft with OK OR CANCEL.

Can we able to connect one Business System with two Integration Server?
I have one Business system (ECC 6.0 with the client 900) and it is already connected with PI 7.0 system.Can I able to connect the same sytem (with same client) with PI7.1?
I want to do the HTTP Connection for ABAP Proxy for this two XI system with one business Sytem ?
Is this possible ?Is there any work around solution there?

I want to connect same ECC system via abap proxy with two different PI system .One is PI7.0 and another one is PI7.1 system.

Can a real Server be applied in two different server farms associated with two different VIP IP and TCP Port

I have a question in regard to real server operation with different server farms, and VIPs
Can a Real Server be associated ( for simpliciy) with two different Server Farms that have a VIP associated with each, servicing the same TCP Port (443).
Example:

This type of config is no problem. What the server is doing is virtual web hosting. The server would have two different web services running for the same IP, but each listening for a unique host header.
From an IP point of view both connections would be destined to the rserver address on port 80, but in the http header they would have two different Host headers.
one for www.example1.com and the second for www.example2.com. If the web server is configured correct so each host name is tied to one web service it will not have any issues.
The config you attached looks ok. The way you have the sticky group is ok doing source IP. If you use cookies for the sticky group I would suggest you create two sticky groups each with a different cookie name and add the same serverfarm to both groups. The client will only send a cookie for the domain it received it from so using the same cookie in two vips could cause problems if the same client hits both vips.

I don't completely agree with this. I have built a few environments with only 2 servers in the Front End pool (despite recommending that three be deployed)
1. Anyway in the event that one FE fails, users are temporarily disconnected and then the client will re-sign them in to the second server.
2. Two servers is supported, but not recommended. See this link (it also contains how to handle two servers - scroll to bottom) http://technet.microsoft.com/en-ca/library/gg412996.aspx.
The biggest issue with only having two servers is losing quorum. If both servers are shutdown at the same time, you can run into issues starting them back up. (it is recoverable by resetting the fabric/quorum, but it's a pain)

SAS MPIO Driver Server 2012 HCT Fails with "make sure two ports are connected" error even with two ports connect

We are running the Server 2012 HCT against a SAS MPIO driver for a server platform with dual redundant storage controllers. The test fails with this error:
(x) For non-iSCSI test environment, please make sure at least two HBA ports are connected to the storage target.

Error: 0x0, Error 0x00000000
The system does have two ports connected so the cause of the error is unclear to us. We do not have any problems when running the 2008R2 HCT. Are there any known issues or fixed or workarounds for this problem?

Sorry, maybe I should say WLK rather than HCT. We are trying to submit the SAS MPIO driver for WHQL signing.

Although you can install like the configuration you said above, we do not recommend you do it this way. If your SQL box has problems, all the data will go away and you will not have data redundancy.
You need to configure the different SQL Port and SQL Broke service port e.g.
SQL port 4023 SQL Broke Service port 4022 for CAS instance
SQL port 4024 SQL Broke Service port 4021 for PRI instance

I agree with Johan and this configuration should not be used. But I want to clarify that the default ports for "SQL port" (actually, SQL over TCP) is 1433 and the SQL Broker Service uses 4022. The configuration above should work but the "correct" would be
to use 1433 and 4022 for the CAS and 10434 and 4023 for the Primary :)

Server 2003 with two network cards problems

We have a win server 2003 with two network cards. From the server we connect using a vpn client from cisco to another server. When we do that we can NOT RDC to our server because it inherits the remote IP from the vpn connection. We installed an additional NIC. We gave an static IP to connect to our local network. How can we or is there a way to tell the vpn client to use one nic card and leave the other so we can RDC to it? thanks

It is possible to configure server to use on nic for incoming and other for outgoing, but it is not possible when vpn client is running. Also it cannot be specified as to which card to use.
