CUAC 9.0.1.20

I've installed CUAC 9.0 Premium Edition (standalone). Connection test to CUCM 9.1 is successful. I've created a Queue Device Group with CTI Gateway Devices, Service Devices and Park Devices. As soon as I sync with CUCM, it displays the following message in the SYNC LOG: error code -206 The specified table (owneruserid) is not in the database. Any suggestion what can be wrong?   Thanks            

Hi Henry,
Can you please try the following:  in the Template for the CTI Route Ports under Protocol Specific Information please remove the "SUBSCRIBE Calling Search Space" and perform the sync again. This should take care of the issue.

  • CUAC Advanced - Upgrading TSP 8.6.2 to 10.5.1

    I'm upgrading a customer's UC suite which includes CUAC.
    The customer was previously running CUBAC 8.6.2, but I upgraded the AC server to CUAC Advanced 10.5.1. as the first step in the UC suite upgrades. So currently the TSP installed in CUAC Advanced matches their CUCM version of 8.6.2.
    This Wednesday I'm upgrading the customer's CUCM to 10.5.1, my question is regarding the upgrade of the TSP file in CUAC. Do I need to uninstall the existing TSP, reboot, then install the new TSP and reboot. Or can I simply install the new TSP 'over-the-top' of the existing TSP and reboot once?

    Just reporting back on my experience with this.
    Once the migration of CUCM to 10.5.1 had completed, I opened the console to the CUAC server. There was a prompt on the server notifying me that CUAC had detected a different version of CiscoTSP running on CUCM. The prompt showed me that CUAC was running 8.6.2 and it detected 10.5.1. The prompt asked if I'd like to proceed with an 'automatic update' to 10.5.1.
    'This is too easy' I thought... and it was. The installer bombed out with an error (I didn't pay attention to the cause). Anyway, the result was that I uninstalled the previous TSP, rebooted, installed the new TSP and ran through the 'add new hardware' wizard, then rebooted once more and all of the CTI devices registered to 10.5.1.
    It looks like Cisco are trying to make things easier, which is a good thing - but in my case the auto update of TSP failed.

  • CUACA Installation Error 1603

    Hi,
    i try to install the CUACA V10.5.1.10.
    During the installation I get always the error:
    Feature transfer error
    Error -1603 Fatal error during installation.
    Consult Windows Installer Help (Msi.chm) or MSDN for more informations.
    The Message appear always when the Server try to access the IIS.
    I use a Windows 2008 R2 Server and install IIS with all relevant Services.
    All Region Settings set to English.
    UAC is disabled.
    Any Ideas?

    thanks for your help. The Server is a member Server of a Domain and I use a Account from the Domain with Administrative rights. After I use the Locale Admin of the Windows Server the installation was workin fine.

  • CUACA 10.5.2 Client Help files not English

    Got a recently installed CUACA 10.5.2 which is Live and displays English everywhere except in the help files (CONSOLE-OPERATOR) which is stored at:
    C:\Program Files\Cisco\Attendant Console\Help
    Any ideas how I change the language? During Install I selected English.

    I have a cluster of CUCM 10.5.1 and I have installed CUACA v10.5.2 but in Service Management \ Cisco Unified Attendant Server I have :
    Status: Initializing - Server is initializing
    Service never become "Active" so I have not all CUACA menu to configure it.
    Do you have an idea about this issue ?

    Check licensing and make sure it's applied correctly and for the right product. This seems like a possible licensing issue.

  • IPv6 support in Cisco UC - especially CUAC

    Guys,
    Does anyone have any recent detailed information on IPv6 support and Cisco UC?  The documentation on CCO is out of date by 3 years and doesn’t include information on applications such as Attendant Console (CUAC).  The latest documentation from the UC 10.0 Beta Training is very high level.  With key features like extension mobility not supporting IPv6, it’s difficult for us to advise customers on deploying a Cisco UC deployments whilst they are planning migrations to IPv6. 
    Does CUAC support IPv6?
    Any updated details on Cisco UC support would be very much appreciated!

    The philosophical direction of Cisco is to have full IPv4 and IPv6  parity across feature sets.  Any IPv4 feature should appear in the same  license level of software for IPv6.
    That said, some older software and platforms may have been missed.

  • CUAC 9.1 Premium Edition Upgrade to version 10.5

    I have some questions regarding an upgrade that I'll be doing for a customer. The customer will be upgrading their full UC Suite from 9.1.2 to 10.5. The customer has CUCM, CUPS, Unity Connection and CUAC Premium.
    I'm planning on upgrading CUAC first but I have some questions:
    1. Is CUAC 10.5 a supported installation on Windows Server 2008 32-bit?
    2. Is CUAC 10.5 installed on Windows Server 2008 32-bit compatible/supported with CUCM 8.6?
    3. Is CUAC 10.5 installed on Windows Server 2008 32-bit compatible/supported with CUCM 10.5?
    4. Which Operating Systems is the CUAC Premium Client supported on?
    I've looked through the CUAC Installation & Uprade Guides, but they're seems a bit unclear.
    While ordering the UC 10.5 upgrades for the customer with PUT, CUAC was not an orderable product in PUT (CUCM & CUC were) - does this imply that the customer isn't entitled to the CUAC Upgrade, or is the process for ordering CUAC upgrades different? Is CUAC typically covered by the same UCSS/ESW as the other items in the UC 10.5 product suite?
    Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

    If u refer the datasheet of Advanced Atendant Console version 10.5.2, it says it is compatibile from  CUCM version 7.1(5) to CUCM 10.5(2).

  • CUAC Premium V 9 Transfer & Hold Issues

    I've installed CUAC v9 Premium (Non HA). The calls get through to the operators, but I cannot hold or park the calls from the operator consoles. There are 4 sites configured, each with their own CTI route point (DDI), own Gateway ports, own Service ports and Park ports. Each site got it's own Device Pool, Location and Calling Search spaces configured in CUCM v9.1.  I can answer the calls with the operator console, but have to transfer or hold the calls with the Cisco IP handset that belongs to the operator. The moment I try to transfer or hold the call with the operator console, it drops the call.
    Any idea of what the issue can be?

    Usually this is caused by the original calling party (i.e. the gateway/trunk) not being able to see the CUxAC CTI Ports or transfer destination. CUxAC uses an older CTI behavior which doesn't use the CTI Port's own CSS when performing a transfer/redirect operation. Instead, CUCM ends up using the original calling party's CSS. This is the same behavior CCX used to have before they added the Redirecting CSS choice on the Triggers.

  • CUAC multisite deployment possible?

    I was reading the CUAC design guide and I'm a bit confused about the possibility of implementing a multisite deployment.
    We currently have a CUCM cluster over the WAN (servers on sites A and B) and we have a CUACE on site A.
    We would like to implement a second CUACE on site B and we would like to confirm if a completely new server would be possible, I mean, we would create a new virtual machine with a new license and a whole new integration. Both CUACE would be independent from each other.
    Is it possible or do we need to implement a centralized deployment with remote operators?

    With the Premium Edition, there is a High Availability type of deployment, where one of the Premium servers is considered the Publisher and is the primary server used by the Attendant Console clients and the other Premium server is considered the Subscriber and will be inactive until failover.  If the Publisher fails all Attendant Operators are switched to the Subscriber. Once the Publisher is up and running again, the operators are prompted to reconnect to the Publisher.  This is HA type of deployment is not available with the Business, Department or Enterprise versions of Attendant Console.

  • CUACS Presence Bubble Issues

    Hi All
    I have an issue with Cisco Unified Attendant Console Standard 10.5 (serverless version) where the Presence Bubble lights are intermittently not working for some users, if you check on a Jabber client they show status but on the Console Directory are shown as Unknown, this is only for some users as some show correctly.
    The operator logged onto the console has entered their own credentials and they are enabled for Jabber and are also logged into the Jabber client on the same PC (is this valid?)
    Any ideas?

    - > i would really ask you to see if the operator reports the same issue while being logged off from jabber and only tracking the user presence status from the CUAC console. I dont think this really would have a big difference as this should still work while jabber is logged in simultaneously. You may want to review the brief snippet of the cuac logs to see if you can find any thing specific to uid for which the presence is not responding with a status information.

    Yes, you can follow the regular CUxAC guidelines and install guides available on CCO, just search for them and the requirements for OVA and OS support are in there

    Is there any firewall between the CUXAC server and CUCM? Any proxy settings that might prevent access to the call manager from the AC server?

    Is it possible to push / silent install the Cisco Unified Attendant Console 10.x Advanced client ?    

    Currently, it is not possible to push/silently install the Advanced client. We are in the process of completing a deployment tool that will make this possible for Standard but would need to explore the option for Advanced.

  • CUAC Standard V10 - Transfer Direct to VM

    Noticed that in option there is a setting for VM prefix, I assumed this was for transfer direct to VM.
    However there is not an option, transfer to VM always (under every condition I could replicate) went straight to the VM pilot.
    I.e. *XXXX to VM.
    Any thoughts?

    What Jeff is referring to works if you are entering the digits after you're already in Unity Connection at a menu.  I think the disconnect here is that you're needing something at the PBX to transfer.
    On a CallManager install, we normally build an extension as *XXXX  (using X's as literal wildcards), that's hard forwarded to voicemail.  The voicemail profile strips the *, and then sends the call on through as a CFNA to the voicemail system.
    In your case, you need to emulate the same thing.  You can certainly call into the voicemail pilot, and then enter the extension number + #2.  I'm not clear if this will work if you sent it that way from the PBX though.  You'd have to set that up and try it to see if you could get it to work. 
    Jeff....any thoughts?  I've actually run into this same question.  Never got a good option for the hard transfer to VM like we can do with CM.
