hola, de casualidad alguien sabe cuando las macbook van a tener sensor biometrico o como dicen en ingles fingerprint.
porque hace tiempo que uso esto y es maravilloso y me gustaria dejar de usarlo con cable.

Macbook sleep sensor broken

Hi,
My Macbook 13" (early 2011) all of a sudden won't go into sleep mode.
It was working just fine but yesterday when I closed the lid it didn't go to sleep mode and therefor kept the screen on.
I've been wandering around on the internet and some say it's the reed switch or the hall effect sensor...Tried several suggestions from deleting the power management plist file, to passing a magnet over the side of screen and over the side of the keyboard, but none of them worked.
Is there anyone with the same problem?
And has anybody found the solution for this?

ya solucione el problema pero fue a travez de telefono, hable con un Asesor de seguridad de apple hasta que le atine junto con el a 1 de las 3 preguntas y valido unos datos y me reseteo las preguntas y las volvi a escojer

MacBook thinks it's closed

So my MacBook got some water on it (it was closed and in sleep mode). Now it always thinks it's closed, thus it only wakes up for a few seconds before going back into sleep mode. When I open it, it doesn't try to wake up, which gives me the idea that it's the "is-the-macbook-closed" sensor. Anyone know where this senor is and if it's easy to fix?

The sleep switch is on the left side attached to the battery cable. It reacts to a magnet in the lid on the left side. (not the same magnets that hold the display closed)
It should not be to hard to fix. Here are the instructions to replace the connector. You should be able to buy it at different sources. Be sure to get the correct one for yours.

hola amigos he estado tratando de crear una pagina web en Muse, yo la maqueto con una macbook de 13 pulgadas....
Pero al visualizar la página en monitor de 15 19 24 pulgadas... Se desordena todo, he visto paginas en Site of the Day y cuando las veo en otros monitores se ven bien. Que se debe establecer para que no se distorsione las página en otras pantallas

Al crear sites en 2 idiomas te sugiero crear dos sites totalmente independientes y realizar una pagina de inicio que funcione como selector de idiomas, algo como lo que aparece en la imagen que te adjunto
Cada version estaria alojada en una carpeta diferente, el site en ingles en una carpeta llama english y el site en español en una carpeta llamada spanish
La pagina de bienvenida estaria linkeando a su correspondiente idioma a traves de un selector de idiomas, o selector de paises, selector de regiones etc etc, lo mas sencillo es hacer algo como esta foto
Cada botón te llevaría a la versión adecuada según el idioma,
toma en cuenta que para efectos de de SEO esto no traerá ningún problema, y en cuanto a contenidos, cada audiencia e idioma tienen peculiaridades tanto en la redacción así como la manera en la que se presentan los temas, esto te permitirá hacer una pequeña segmentación para tu audiencia
Por otro lado las actualizaciones deberás hacerlas independientemente en cada idioma, será un poco tedioso pero así podrás personalizar contenidos y temas que al publico de determinado idioma pueden interesar mas o menos, siempre he dicho que las traducciones automatizadas no son muy fieles sobre todo cuando quien escribe usa muchos populismos , modismos y refranes propios del idioma y/o región .
Lo ideal seria terminar el site en español (o ingles) y luego traducir el otro, tomando en cuenta lo que en lineas anteriores te comentaba sobre contenidos, regiones y redacción

How to turn off display while connected to external monitor??

I'm running my macbook into an external monitor, using wireless mouse and keyboard. I want to get full power from my graphics card so would like to know how to turn the macbook screen off while connected to the larger monitor. I have read that simply closing the lid and then waking it with the mouse will work, however wont this activate the screen as well while the lids closed? Any advice would be great!

Photoshop Album: problema pié foto en envíos

Tengo Adobe Photoshop Album SE 3.2.- Quiero enviar bastantes fotos a familiares pero no salen las anotaciones a pié de foto. ¿Cómo las pueden ver con mis notas, cuando las reciban? ¿Deben bajarse el programa?

Mi cámara es marca "Nisupa" (O sea, ni su padre lo sabe) y marca las fotos como cámara "4MDSC".
He visto una Rollei que es exactamente igual por fuera y en características, pero no se si será la misma.
El problema que veo, tras investigar el tema, es que las fotos que el photoshop album reconoce la fecha aparece como: "sábado, 18 de junio de 2005 17:37:15", mientra que las de mi cámara aparece como "2005/09/03 19:50:52"
Puede que sea un problema de configuración de formatos de fecha, pero no soy capaz de ver donde decirle al Album que use otro tipo de fecha... o a la cámara que le ponga la fecha en otro formato.

Inicio con MAVERICKS 10.9.2 y se cambia el idioma del teclado a ingles estadounidense.

Cuando inicio Macbooks con OS X MAVERICKS 10.9.2, que acabo de reinstalar, se cambia el idioma del teclado a ingles estadounidense. Lo cambio en preferencias de sistema, pero al volver a iniciar... otra vez igual.
Es decir, no puedo cambiar el idioma del teclado por defecto a Español ISO, ni ningún otro. Siempre se establece por defecto el Ingles estadounidense. He cambiado la fuente de entrada, pero nada... se vuelve a poner el ingles por defecto.
He probado tambien a cambiar el idioma desde el Terminal, eligiendo el número de idioma, pero... al volver a iniciar... otra vez igual.
¿Alguien podria echar una manilla?. Gracias.

Display freezes while connected to external monitor (HDMI to TV), any advice to stop this from happening?

My MacBook Pro freezes (blue or gray screen) while playing music hooked up to my TV by an HDMI cable. The music still plays, but I have to restart my computer because once the screen turns color, I cannot do anything to stop it.

I like the cheaper one obviously, but I've heard of WD giving errors and panic attacks with the sensor in my MacBook and sensor in the drive to cause issues with each other. Anyone have any suggestions on which one, or what other ones??
