Cube 0SD_C03 Development

Hello Experts,
We are installing the BI content cube 0SD_C03 which contains the sales, delivery and billing in a single cube. Now the user wants the report on sales order amount in which he requires the actual delivery date also. Here the actual delivery date should be taken into account from the delivery datasource. But if the sales order is loaded prior and the delivery for the same sales may be after 3 days or 10 days then how come the report gets generated with the correct values. Please let me know how to build this in a better way.

I think for every sales order there are planned delivery date and actual delivery date available.
So in datasource 2LIS_11_V_SSL
Extraction SD Sales: Order Delivery
Requested delivery date of an order schedule line - MCEX_W_LFDAT
Confirmed delivery date MCEX_B_LFDAT
Actual goods movement date of a delivery MCEX_I_WADAT
Actual delivery date of a delivery MCEX_I_LFDAT
So you can map above fields in cube and in reports.
Respective content field you can check suitable object in RSOSFIELDSMAP table.Else create Z fields and map them.

Migration Problem in 2lis_11_vaitm for info cube 0SD_C03(Sales Overview)

Dear Experts
I am facing an issue for the data source 2lis_11_vaitm and 2lis_11_vcitm for info cube 0SD_C03. When i create transformation on update rule, it gets created with warnings but no issues. When i try making a transformation on update rule it gives errors about abap routines and start routines. Then i would go for migrating 2lis_11_vaitm but that cant be done because of above mentioned error. I have migrated other data sources same way. The reason i am doing so is because of making exact transformations as trsansfer and update rule.
My objectives is migrating 2lis_11_vaitm and 2lis_11_vcitm to 7.X etl flow. Am I right on the sequence of steps? cause my main issue is when my info package starts writing data in PSA in errors out for both 2lis_11_vaitm & 2lis_11_vcitm. The IDOC has the same problem. So migrating seems to be the only solution. Plz help and FYI my patch levels on bi system.

Separate Credit memos and Returns in cube 0sd_c03

Hello Dear All.
I'm using a copy of cube 0sd_c03, and i want to know how to separete credit memos from returns in this cube.
Can anybody help me ??

In the cube if you have document type.......chose the document type RE or to see the returns and documenty type of credit memo will be CR or ZCR or soemthing related to that
If you are building queries on the cube.....you can use filter or restrictions accordigly in your queries

Diffrence in incomming order qty and billing qty in cube 0sd_c03 & 0sd_c01

Dear All.
i have uploaded 2 cubes 0SD_C01 & 0SD_C01 from our R/3 data, SAP recommed for 0SD_C03 for sales analysis and their best practice is also based on 0SD_C03 but it is very strange the values of both the cubes are not the same when i run the report but the values of 0SD_C01 is 100% same as R/3 values i.e. mcsi reports show the same incomming and billing qty as i can see in report for 0SD_C01 but strang to see in 0SD_C03 there is diffrence in these values.
can any one explain why did this happen as SAP recommed to use lbwe data sources and their best practice also base on 0SD_C03 and the other one i.e. 0SD_C01 is based on old LIS structures.
during exploration i come to know that in some material orders incomming and billing quantaties are same but diffrence in most of them.
any help will be highly appreciated.

Hi,
There are somany Routines for Keyfigures in both Cubes, I hope you may using 0QUANT_B key figure for Qty, the reason is there may be some difernece in Routines in both cubes, so you need to check it tehn you check in teh reports, whether is there any restrictions, you need to iopen the each node and check i nthe both reports.
I also faced teh same problem with MCSI and BW reports, MCSI, we can customizi it an dut is just InfoStructure and having routines internally. So you need to take one material, plant and date where the diffrenece is coming then track it.

ERROR while activating the Business Content of Sales Cube 0SD_C03

Hi,
iam facing an error, iam getting the error while activating the Business Content sales info cube and Inventory info cube with the collection option DATA FLOW BEFORE. In my system the service pack was 14, what shall be the approach. Here iam getting the error like some 0DB-- objects are not available in the D version. if u have any solution for this please share with use also.
Please treat this as an urgent, because we are unable to proceed with the further Business Content Activation.

I have searched for those objects in the BI content for activating those objects, but those objects are not available in the BI content.
In general while activating the info cube if any object is in inactive means we will activate the object seperatly and we will activate the info cube it will resolve the issue. but here those 0DB-- objects are not available in the BI content.
While activating the sales and inventory info cube it was throughing the short dump, In the short dump it is showing these message.
ASSIGN_LENGTH_0 " "
SAPLSNR3 or "LSNR3F01"
LOCAL_BUFFER
please treat this as urgent.

Sales cube 0SD_C03, Key Figure 0DOCUMENTS (NW04s)

Need to understand why 0DOCUMENTS (No. of documents) is used and why it sometimes has a value of -1. Any documentation available.
Loading cube via:
2LIS_11_VAITM
2LIS_11_VDHDR
2LIS_13_VDITM
2LIS_13_VD_HDR

0DOCUMENTS is a count of the number of documents, a document might have one or more 0DOC_ITEMS which is item level.
So in order to count the number of orders it document level, then you use 0document if you need in item level then use 0doc_items.

I have activated 0SD_C03 but i realized that the following characteristic are not mapped:
0OPORDQTYBM - 0OPORDVALSC
Does anybody knows which are the right routines in order to mapped?

Accesing the data cubes with developer 2000

Hi,
Currently we have to develop the application for the olap operations only with oracle Developer 2000. Our client is not going to take the Oracle objects or oracle express server. we have to develop the application using the oracle developer 6i or above or How can we access the three dimentional data using the plsql procedure or any other method. Currently we are using the oracle 9i release 2.
Please suggest any other way....

I would suggest you either go with Oracle Discoverer or Oracle OLAP/ BI Beans. These tools are optimized for reporting and analysis.

Delta load error in quantity of sales overview cube 0sd_c03

Hi All,
The quantity(0quant_b) is fetching properly for full upload.But when delta load is done 0quant_b is not fetching correctly.
For example,
quantity was changed from 100 to 120 for an order. When delta is run, only 100 is uploaded instead of 120. In PSA it is showing 120. If a full upload is run it is fetching 120.
I was wondering what could be the reason for a mismatch. I would really appreciate for any clues provided.

Hi Jerry,
Please understand the following:
If you have the initial quantity in the R/3 system as 100 and this is loaded to the BW system in the your model(PSA then Infocube) there is no mechanism in your model where in delta can be handled.
The quantity is now changed to 120 in R/3 side now you are expecting this to be captured into the InfoCube which in your model is not possible.
The reason is that in BW the delta handling will be as follows(taking your example):
100 is the initial quantity and this will be flown in to the target with no issues.
Now the quantity is changed to 120 in R/3 side, this will be flown till PSA as 120 itself.
But a field called ROCANCEL will be populated as New record.
This should be mapped to the field RECCORDMODE in DSO on which the delta will be captured.
where I mean to say DSO is mandatory in between. In DSO as I told in the previous post the delta handling will be done as the (new image - before image), in your case it is 120 -100 = 20.
As the property of the InfoCube is addition this 20 will get summed up in to the InfoCube making the quantity 120.
If there is no DSO in between this record will not be considered in the Infocube so you will be left with 100.

0SD_C03 cube contains data that does not exist in PSA

Hi,
We have a problem with data difference in cube and PSA. Firstly we deleted PSA extactly then extracted data from r3 to PSA. PSA has 2 records now. Then we extracted data to cube (0SD_C03) via DTP (using 2LIS_13_VDITM transformation rules). However, the cube contains approximately 300 000 data. Cube contains many records that does not exist in PSA.
Where these data come from?

In your PSA overview, did you change the date that limits the PSA packages showing?
(middle top of screen) and click refresh?
it might be that you only have deleted the PSA from a certain date onwards.

Need help with Logistics Cubes( 0SD_C0* ) and extraction

Hi,
we are implementing the CRM Sales solution and already sales related data in the CRM Sales cube ( 0CSAL_C03) and ODS( 0CRM_SALO).
However , the delivery and billing are done in the back end ECC system, I need to extract the billing and delivery related data from ECC as well as Sales order over view as well.
I have found the following
0SD_C03 : Sales : Overview
0SD_C02 : Deliveries
But I haven't found anything for the billing( only found ODS 0SD_C06 for condition data).
I need to report on the sales oder, deliveries and billing qty amt etc can anybody help me with the right object(cubes, ods, data source) to choose from the business content.

Thanks for your reply. I would try to use all the info sources ( ypou have mentioned only the item level data) as you mentioned to feed the cube 0SD_C03.
However can you please let me know why didn't you include the info source for the header data(example 2lis_11_vahdr) ?..
Also I have already populated the OCSAL_C03 ( Sales Order cube data from the CRM system). Please let me know whether you have any model already developed or BKM to join data in BW that is from both CRM and ECC.
Also can you please confirm whether The following infocources are invalid and

While I was transporting my cube from Development box to Acceptance box, following error occured.

Actually transport failed but the cube was present in the Acceptance box in inactive state

Hi Mukul,
This is an RC=12 issue.Contact the basis team or raise ticket basis team stating that your specified transport request is got terminated.Basis team will resolve the issue and then you can Import the transport into your acceptance system.

You need to add new fields to cube in Development system and then transport it to production after testing.
Edit cube in RSA1. Add the new infoobjects from right hand directory to left hand pane and assign these new infoobjects to suitable dimensions. Save and activate the infocube. Now go to change update rules for this infocube and do proper mapping of these infoobjects.
Save & activate the update rules.
RSA1-> Transport connection-> select cube, update rules and related objects and create transport request.
After testing is done, give the transport request number to your Basis person and he will do the transports for you.

Hello Experts. I want to know if I can use business content data(2lis_11 /12/13 etc.) sources for cube 0SD_C03 for calculating open orders?
Also should I create a new cube or will I be able to get results from 0SD_C03?
For my open orders, I want to see:
1.sales orders or the deliveries, which are not billed

Hello Experts. I am asking this question again as I didn't get any answers last time.
I am creating a report that will have Open Orders, Sales Orders and Deliveries.
For my open orders, I want to see:
1.sales orders or the deliveries, which are not billed
2.deliveries which are not goods issued
3.sales order which are confirmed, but not delivered
4. Or any other type of open order.
I need to know what are the Data Sources in LO Cockpit that I need to activate?
These data sources will be feeding the cube 0SD_C03.
According to my research, I hace listed the following datasources:

Hi...From my own experience i recommend you to activate the possible datasources that you think could be useful for you...and run the RSA3 transaction in order to see if any of them beings the data you need....
check the Help.sap.com in order to see tha structure for every datsource
