Cube has correct value that cucl. by update rule but Query value wrong

I need to calculate number of working days.I created a KF and wrote a update rule to calculate number of working days. However cube has correct number of working days. In Bex, I am getting wrong answer.
How can I define a KF?
currently In infoobj, Aggregation - SUM, Exc. AGGR - Firstvalue, Agg.ref.char - 0calmonth with Cumulative val
Is that any wrong with this defn for KF?
Do I need to create a char with this KF?

It all depends on how data is stored in your cube.
The Exception Aggregation( Exc. AGGR - Firstvalue, Agg.ref.char - 0calmonth ) which you have defined,would do the following :
If you have loaded No of Working days /Month
01.2006, 20
02.2006,22
03.2006,23
And if you happen to create a report and either have a Higher Charact than 0CALMONTH or dont have 0CALMONTH, then it will display the FirstValue for the No of working days
for eg. if i have CALYEAR /No of working days in my report, this would be the display
2006, 20

My macbook won't update. It says that it's updating, restarts, but doesn't actually install any updates. Help?

I've tried several times to update my Macbook software, but each time it says it will begin the process it restarts, and doesn't do anything. This is really frustrating, because a lot of the programs I want to use require new updates. Please help!

I haven't been able to install any updates at all since I first got the Macbook. It hasn't caused much of an issue until now- most websites at this points require updated versions of several plug-ins.

I have Firefox 5.0 and I noticed that in the Help-About 5.0.1 has been available. i did the update.. but after couplu of days the changes haven't been done and my FF changed to 5.0

The update for Firefox 5.0.1 was only offered for Mac OSX due to fixes for the new 10.7 Lion operating system and to fix problems in Firefox created by Apple's recent update for 10.5 & 10.6. Windows and Linux Firefox 5.0 installations can't be updated to 5.0.1 - there's no need to update them.
Yes, 5.0.1 is what is being offered as the latest version for download & fresh installation for all three platforms, because the full download version needs to be the same for all platforms due to the way that server works. Firefox 5.0.1 for Mac OSX is different than 5.0, but on Windows and Linux they are the same, except for the number.
Yep, sounds confusing - I had to read the blog explanation 3 times before it sunk in why Mozilla did what they did.

Firefox wants to update and when I tell it yes it has a box that says "software update" that comes up and just says at the top Downloading Firefox but below that it continues to say CONNECTING to update server

This has been going on for weeks now. I've left it alone for a long time and when I come back the box still says "connecting to update server" - no evidence it actually updates - and Firefox keeps saying it wants to update - have used firefox for years and never had this problem before and the internet is working just fine.

If you have problems with updating then best is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version.<br />
You may need to remove the Firefox program folder to do a clean install of the new version.
Do a clean (re-)install:
* Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
* Firefox 4.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
* Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
* Do not remove personal data if you uninstall the current version.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

Does any1 hav issues with not being able to send pic from the camera roll. I've already had issues with over exposure that the new update fixed but it left me with this issue.

Since getting my iPhone 5 I've had camera issues. To start with it was over exposure, the camera was flashing too early and leaving me with dark pictures. After a failed reset I visited the apple store, where they told me it was a known problem and apple were working on a update to fix the issue and it was just a
waiting game. Once the update was available I did it immediately and the problem seemed to be fixed. I've now noticed that from the camera roll I carnt send a picture to mms. It gives me the option but the screen completely freezes after I've chosen it. The only way to access my camera roll again is to completely close the camera roll down and reopen it. The strange thing it it will let me send it as an email and upload taught to Facebook etc just not as an mms. The other strange thing is if I go to msgs and add a photo I'm successful but if I try to edit the photo I want to send 1st then I get the same issue as the camera roll. I also have issues with the shutter taking ages to open. Is anyone else havin these issue before I go back to the apple shop. A complete reset hasn't worked

Photo Stream only handles images and your videos are not uploaded or shared with other devices.
Use iPhoto to import from your device. It can bring in the videos and image files.

ITunes indicates that an apps update exists but nothing is there?

When I started up iTunes today it indicated that there was an update available for on of my apps. When I clicked on the update icon the iTunes store indicated that everything was up to date. It does this with or without my iPhone and iTouch attached and even after a restart. Is there an explanation for this activity?

If you are trying to download large apps over 3G on your iPad then there is 20 meg limit. In terms of iTunes on your computer try either Store > Check For Available Downloads or just (re-)download it from the store : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519 and then sync it to your iPad.

But my iphone needed to be restored as it is in recovery mode. it staes that all data will be deleted!! Will I be able to recover data, apps, photos, etc? My phone will not even allow me to use it....it just has picture of itunes with connector on screen. HELP!

If your phone is in recovery mode, you've already lost ALL of the data on the phone. Your only choice now is to restore it from your most recent backup. You follow this by syncing your content back to your phone. Any data, on your phone, not backed up or in supported applications on your computer, is gone. iTunes content you can re-download for free.

Update rules deactivated after transporting cube with zero elimination on

The update rules were deactivated in the quality system after transporting the cube with the zero elimination flag switched on. However, the update rules in development were not deactivated when setting the zero elimination flag. So, the update rules in the "From" system were not deactivated. This only happened in the "To" System. Does anyone know why?

If there is any change you did on cube, you need to re-activate your update rules.
Re-activate your UR and transport it. It should be ok.

How to reset an app that won't update?

I have four apps that started the update process but could not finish for some reason. The status is "installing" but the label is grayed out. They are not updating not can I reset the status. They seem to be stuck. How to reset this?

Sign out of iTunes
Go to App Store
Select non responding app
That will take you to app open screen
Select app that will take you to it's location
Select it
Go back to app open screen and select update
I think that is it, I didn't write it down

Two Update Rules populating One Infocube

Hi all
Im a little confused:
1) I have to add a characteristic to an Infocube.Which I did and also assigned it to an appropriate dimension.
2)There are two update rules populating the Infocube.
3)The new charcteristic that ive added to the cube has to be populated using a routine.
My confusion is that to which update rule should i add the routine to?whats the deciding factor? how do i decide?
I would like to have more details and preferably any document which clarifies such scenarios.

You can do it using both update rules or...
Find out which are the related characteritics and write the routine in that update rule:
Ex
Cube has
Project | Activity | Manager | Team Member | .....
Update rule 1 :
Project | Manager |...
Update rule 2:
Project | Activity | Team Member | ....
and the added characteristic is Project Status and it makes more sense to add it to update rule 1 rather than update rule 2...

Data Targets does not show up despite having Active Update Rule

I have an Info Cube of which I have created an Update Rule from a Active Info Source.
However, when I created the Info Package, the 'Data Targets' tab does NOT seem to show the Info Cube as part of the Data Target
Please advice

hello John;
check if this is a Basic cube or Transactional cube. If for some reasons this has been created as a transactional cube then you won't be able to see the cube on the InfoPackage because you theoritically you won't be loading data into the transactional cubes.
let us know the details.
