CUC 10.0.1 cluster status stuck in Split Brain Recovery (SBR) on Primary server - HA reports fine.

Hi,
Have a 10.01.11900 CUC cluster and everything is working fine (no one having issues with voice mail, etc) but the cluster status reports is not consistent.
DBreplication is showing 2 on both servers.
Primary unity server cluster status shows Primary/split brain recovery.
HA Unity server cluster status shows Primary/Secondary.
utils diagnose test - everything tests fine except the tomcat_connectors test.
test - tomcat_connectors   : Failed - The HTTPS port is not responding to local requests.  Please collect all of the Tomcat logs for root cause analysis: file get activelog tomcat/logs/*
We've shutdown the HA server and rebooted primary, and then waited awhile after primary was back up/active before bringing the HA server back up and still same.
We reset DB replication and same.
On the HA server I made the HA primary and the cluster status flipped to Seconday/Primary and I then made primary the primary again, but the primary server cluster status always shows Split Brain Recovery for the secondary/HA server.
No core dumps on either server and all services are started.
Any one seen this before or have any thoughts?  I have a TAC Case on this but so far in same boat.
Would the utils cuc cluster renegotiate command help? Did not replace a server so don't really want to overwrite data to publisher server. Issue seems to be with the publisher since HA shows fine but not sure. I don't want to lose messages/etc so don't want really want to run these commands.
Thanks.

Ok, thanks.
The SRM logs indicate the Connection Digital Networking Replication Agent service is not running, however when I start it it stops right away and the cuReplicator log states digital networking is not enabled.

23:42:59.208 |28914,,,CuReplicator,0,Digital Networking is not enabled. Replicator will stop now.
There is no digital networking setup to other unity systems, and only one location.
Also, the Server role manager can't be restarted from CLI or the GUI so either root or a server reboot.
I compared it to another CUC cluster and deactivated the Digital Networking service and the SRM logs seem happier now, will wait a bit and see if it clears the SBR status up.

  • Opmnctl @cluster status problem

I aim to create an architecture of Oracle BPEL Clustering. I installed Oracle Application Server and Oracle BPEL Process Manager for OracleAS Middle Tier on three machines. I consider one of these three machines as Load Balancer. My problem is that when I execute opmnctl @ cluster status on a machine, the result of this command is only the instance installed on this machine+.
    Thanks for help.

    I solved the problem.

  • Cluster status ... slow

I've just built my 4th OES2 cluster, the first with SP2. I'm still building and configuring resources and the SAN 'feels' slow (EMC CX300 / 2Gb fibre). I'm just starting to benchmark it against the other production clusters.
One of the symptoms is that the 'cluster status' command from either node takes 2 or 3 seconds to return the status. On my production clusters it takes less than a second to return status on half a dozen resources. This made me wonder, does the cluster status get it's info from the SBD partition? Would this be another indication of poor SAN performance?

No, "cluster status" just goes in through adminfs, reads a few things from memory (owned by NCS) through the /proc file system, and comes back.
I think the delay is caused by slowness in your file system (which in turn could be caused by other I/Os, SAN included).
You can isolate the problem further by running the following command (as root). Command "echo -n STATUS > /proc/ncs/cluster" bypasses adminfs, and the sleep command is only waiting for the output being put in /var/log/messages.
    "date; echo -n STATUS > /proc/ncs/cluster ; sleep 10; tail -16 /var/log/messages"
It will print out something like this. Please check the time printed out by "date" and the timestamps for the "cluster status" command in /var/log/messages.

  • Status stuck in computer to computer

    My biege G3 runs 10.2.8 at 400 mhz .
My airport status bar shows computer to compter - so I can't join my wireless network.
I can't figure out how or what I did to change it. Much less how to put it back. The iBook shows "Staus: not available" but works, desktop says "Status: Computer to Computer"?
My iBook 10.2.8 accesses just fine as this post shows.
    Please help.

No clue what it said before , sorry. I use a belkin pci card in the desk top w/ dLink 624 wireless router.
I don't do computer to computer stuff. My old hard drive died recently. But I replaced it and had my desktop up and running on the network for a couple days, so I don't think that matters.
    I'm so confused.

    Hi,
( I search for iChat questions when I have finished in the iChat Forum)
So the menu bar reads iChat, File,  Edit,  View, Buddies, Video, Window and Help
There is no Buddy List open.
There is no other window for iChat open.
In the iChat Menu you only have access to Status.
Is an item ticked in the list ?
Is this a green (Available item) or  Red ( an Away one) ?
Can you access the Accounts option ?  (Sitll in the iChat Menu)
Is anything in here ticked ?
In the Window menu any Logged in account should appear in the list  (Between the Next Chat and File Transfer items)
It would be useful to know which version of iChat this is.
If no account is ticked (iChat Menu > Accounts) or not showing in the Window Menu, plus you cannot determine the Status and you cannot access the Preferences then you need to access your Home Folder/Library/Preferences
As the Library in the Home Holder is Invisible in Lion you will need the Finder's Go Menu > Go to Folder option  (you can use it in earlier OS versions if you want)
    Type in:-
    ~/Library/Preferences
    Find the file called com.apple.ichat.plist
Drag it to the Trash and Restart iChat.
This will lose all the settings in iChat that you have changed from Defaults but there is no way around this.

  • Http cluster servlet not failing over when no answer received from server

I am using weblogic 510 sp9. I have a weblogic server proxying all requests to
a weblogic cluster using the httpclusterservlet.
When I kill the weblogic process servicing my request, I see the next request
get failed over to the secondary server and all my session information has been
replicated. In short I see the behavior I expect.
              r.troon
However, when I either disconnect the primary server from the network or just
switch this server off, I just get a message back
to the browser - "unable to connect to servers".
I don't really understand why the behaviour should be different . I would expect
both to failover in the same manner. Does the cluster servlet only handle tcp
              reset failures?
Has anybody else experience this or have any ideas.
              Thanks

I think I might have found the answer......
The AD objects for the clusters had been moved from the Computers OU into a newly created OU. I'm suspecting that the cluster node computer objects didn't have perms to the cluster object within that OU and that was causing the issue. I know I've seen cluster
object issues before when moving to a new OU.
All has started working again for the moment so I now just need to investigate what permissions I need on the new OU so that I can move the cluster object in.

So the touch screen of my ipod touch didn't work and I went along with what people said (I pressed the home and power button at the same time) and now the touch screen still doesn't work AND it is stuck in recovery mode or DFU mode. I've tried to get out of both the recovery mode and DFU mode but I'm still stuck in either the recovery or DFU mode.
What can I do to get my ipod touch back in the normal state without having to restore it?  .

Nothing that I know of.You  will have to restore the iPod via iTunes.
    To restore from backup see:
    iOS: How to back up
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

  • Content Status Stuck "In Progress"

I had this error before, and installing the hotfix http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2828900/en-us fixed the issue. However, last week the issue returned. At the time, nothing
had changed. I have since installed CU4, then CU5. These servers are updated monthly, but had not yet updated when this began.
When viewing the Content Status, the Status is “Waiting for Content.” However, in the Asset Message Summary, the description is “Distribution Manager successfully processed package…”
OSD task sequences are now not able to complete due to the Configuration Manager Client Package being in the same state (due to the CU5 client update).
Deployments such as Programs and Updates are completing successfully.
Interestingly, I was able to distribute NEW content (SP1 CU5 - x64 client update) to a Distribution Point Group (which includes 4 of 13 DP’s). So maybe this issues only applies
    to REDISTRIBUTING content.
PkgXferMgr.log does not show anything unusual
Distmgr.log shows a recurring attempt to update a package which was removed and subsequently redistributed for testing purposes, but other entries appear to process normally.

Thanks Torsten. I've read many of your successful replies over the years, and now you're answering one of my questions! Actually, the first question since I've usually found the answer.
Yes, I have redistributed the packages that are giving the inaccurate status messages.
To get a current log, I redistributed the configmgr client (KS100002). The description now reads "Distribution Manager created snapshot for content Configuration Manager Client Package successfully." However, the Content Status is still "Waiting for
    Content - In Progress."

  • FTPs - Status stuck in "Processing started"

    I am running PI7.0 SP10.
I have a BPM conencting to a FTPs server to process multiple files into variable directories.  All works well - apart from...
It is connecting to the Server okay, but not actually processing.
In the Message monitoring, it says - Processing started
Here is the audit log...  The names have been changed to protect the innocent!
Success Message successfully received by messaging system. Profile: XI URL: http://server.fqdn:5<SYSNO>00/MessagingSystem/receive/AFW/XI Credential (User): XIISUSER
Success Using connection File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System. Trying to put the message into the receive queue.
Success Message successfully put into the queue.
Success The message was successfully retrieved from the receive queue.
Success The message status set to DLNG.
    Success Delivering to channel: FTP_Receiver_EmployeeLookUp
    Success MP: entering
Success MP: processing local module localejbs/CallSapAdapter
Success File adapter receiver: processing started; QoS required: ExactlyOnce
Success File adapter receiver channel FTP_Receiver_EmployeeLookUp: start processing: party " ", service "XE_TST_3RD_FTP_001"
Success Connect to FTP server "ftp.ftp.ftp.ftp", directory "/variable/"
    This is stuck in processing...
I have spoken to the "owners" of the ftp site...
In the their logs, they can see the connection, and "session started".
Has anyone come across this before?  How can this be fixed/released and actually process?

    Barry:
I was watching your thread from the day you posted since we had the same issue
Even we have the same issue for the past month..we tried all sort of solutions to get rid of the problem but were not able to....its still exist..we have logged a ticket to SAP support and waiting for them
for the time being we used "Availability Time Planning" to schedule the polling which is like forcing the channel to wake up and die in the time interval we want....
(sometimes even it stops but not as frequent as the above)
if you find permanent solution to your problem let me know

  • Agent Status Stuck in EIM/CIM - "reserved"

    Good morning.
We currently have one agent stuck in a "reserved" status, with no emails populating.  We cannot get the status to clear.
Is there any suggestions on how to clear a stuck status?
    Thank you,
    CIM version 4.3.1

I would use your lab system and try the registry setting RouteRequestTimeout (default is 30000 so probably msecs).
    \ICM\\PGn[A,B]\PG\CurrentVersion\PIMS\pimN\EAGENT\Data\Config
I don't know if this is correct, of course. But it looks tantalizing

    Geoff

  • Material Replication from R/3 to SRM -  Object status stuck in Running mode

Hi Experts, I am new to this Forum and I am facing the following issue,
    System Info :
    SRM 5.0
    ECC 6.0
I am trying to replicate two materials from the backend R/3 system and have set material filters on the SRM side.
The filters are Table: MARA, Field: MATNR, OP= Equality(=low), LOW = T-SRM13, inclusive defined.
The filters are Table: MARA, Field: MATNR, OP= Equality(=low), LOW = T-SRM113, inclusive defined.
This is my sequence of operations in SRM:
I deleted exisiting queues, started initial load and then activated the inbound Queues for my client.
Then when checking, Monitor Load objects in SRM, the status for Material is stuck in Running mode with an yellow sign.
Please let me know if you have any advice.

    Hello,
First of all, check RFC queues in transatcion SMQ1 and SMQ2 for any detailed information.
Make sure if Your RFC user has SAP_ALL authorisation - if not add it and delete all material queues and run again.
Make shure if You run report BBP_PRODUCT_SETTINGS_MW with proper option and unchecked "Test mode". Once you have done this rerun your initial load for DNL_CUST_PROD0,  DNL_CUST_PROD1, BASIS3 and MATERIAL.
    Regards,
    Marcin Gajewski

  • SC status stuck in I1111 Item in Transfer Process

    Hi Friends
    We're using SRM 7.0 SP03.
I got a question about SC status update, let me describe it with an example:
    1) firstly, i found a SC became Error in Process due to some data problem;
    2) then, i reprocessed it in Application Monitor by click the button of "Create Follow-on documents";
    3) when checking it in BBP_PD, i found this SC item status became I1111 Item in Transfer Process, and looks like it stuck in this status for a long time(more than 5 or 6 hours);
    4) the second day, i found it turned to status I1112;
Here comes my question, what activity updated this SC's status from I1111 to I1112?
I tried program CLEAN_REQREQ_UP and BBP_GET_STATUS_2, i believe this change was not updated by this two programs, and I checked almost all batch jobs running in my system, nothing found.
It has been bothering me in the past month, what's the mechanism of this status update?
Could anyone give me a clue, i'll highly appreciate, thanks.

    Hi Nikhil
I read this notes before, program BBP_ALERT_SB_NOTTRANSFERED only include SC after a certain time. My error SC is an old one, created several weeks ago, I checked the time stamp in table BBP_CONTROL, I think this SC is not include in BBP_ALERT_SB_NOTTRANSFERED run.
Btw, about program BBP_ALERT_SB_NOTTRANSFERED, there's a default parameter:
    "Add. Time for CLEAN_REQREQ_UP             7,200"
    What's this used for?
