CUCIMOC Compatible Headset?

We have just completed a large UC deployment where CUCIMOC is the primary telephony device for about 3/4 of the users base. However, none of the wireless Plantronics headsets we are using work with CUCIMOC the way they should (bluetooth and USB).
The main issue is that a user can't answer a call by pressing the button on the earpiece, you cannot get dialtone by pressing the button either.
The headsets work FINE with IP Communicator and MOC.. just not COCIMOC.
Needless to say the customer is a bit miffed.
So, does anyone have any suggestions AND field experience with a headset that works with CUCIMOC? (Or knows how to get these working?)
Thanks
- Sam

  • Once and for all please help compatible headsets with mic 2 use wSkpe

I have been searching, on this Forum about this subject but cannot get a straight answer. I'm tired making my Skype calls using the speaker on my Mac. I got several headsets including one with separate plugs, one for audio and other for mic. It didn't work.
I also was told that I should get any USB based headset. I've seen some advertised including the one at the Apple store, way too expensive. Any suggestion where I could find a compatible headset and which model

Believe it or not, even though I own a 24" I alway try to keep my expenses to a minimal. I posted my question on the Skype's forum and was able to get some help.
I am now able to use the same headset (not usb based) to work, and now I'm using it flawless, and I didn't have to buy a headset from the The Apple Store or Skype. I paid $12.00 at Fry's electronics....

  • Most compatible headset for Nokia E5-00 available ...

I have been using a Nokia E5 handset for over an year and am very comfortable with it. Recently I lost its stock headset while commuting and couldn't buy another similar one, hence ended up buying the WH-205 headset compatible with this handset. Only issue is despite my trying out all the earbuds provided with this headset, the headset just doesn't stay in my ears. It keeps popping out even when I am sitting in office and not on the move.
Have checked with a couple of Nokia Priority Partners on any other headset fully compatible with my E5, which is not an in-ear-headset, but was told Nokia doesn't have any options besides WH-205 for this handset model currently. Moreover, with Nokia shifting focus to Lumia, and having unceremoniously dumped an intuitive S60 handset like E5, I am left with no choice but to consider headset from other manufacturers.
Would appreciate if someone can help me with the make / model of any other (preferably) non in-ear headset which is fully compatible with my Nokia E5 handset. Have checked some Cowon EM1 and Skullcandy ones which don't work with this handset, hence seek help from others. Thanks.

  • Compatible headset for Nokia 603

    Dear All,
I bought Nokia 603, three months ago which came with WH-207 headset. But within a couple of months problems started and now its totally gone! Totally not working. So I decided to get a new pair of headphones, but WH-207 was nowhere available and I was forced to buy a headset which comes with Nokia Lumia phone models but that doesnt work with Nokia 603 at all. As soon I plug in, I get a message: "Accessory not Supported!"
There's not a single Nokia store I havent visited, but I simply cant find a compatible headset. Nokia should at least shouldn't have stopped WH-207 given the fact that they knew it was of poor quality. I am feeling cheated coz I spent all my savings on this phone.
Can anyone plz tell me any other models of headset compatible with Nokia 603
    Thanks in advance

  • Compatible headset for Xpress Music - 5310

    Hi All,
Can anybody tell me Xpress music 5310 phone is compatible of 2.5 mm or 3.5 mm Headset phones ??
    Please reply.
Message Edited by narayanan_iyer on 10-Jun-2009 11:20 AM

sorry Confiture but you're wrong there. i know 5610 is only 2.5mm and comes with AD-56 to enable a 3.5mm, but i am pretty sure i have seen 5310 take a standard set of earphones without the need for an adapter. in fact i am definite, as i had a 5610 before and had a lok at 5310 in the shops and it had a bigger socket for headphones, so must be 3.5mm
If you found this or someone's comments helpful or like what that person has to say, please give some Kudos to their post!

  • Compatible Headsets for BB Curve 8330

Anyone know where I can find out what headsets are compatible with the Curve 8330?  I'm really liking the BlueAnt V9i but I want to make sure it will work. Anyone know?

Thanks Jeremy & Sugrat for the reassurance that most headsets will work with my Curve!
I have to apologize for my model number goof, it was the Z9i that I was looking at. I had originally gone to Plantronics mfg. website to check on the Voyager 520, but their interactive product finder said it wasn't compatible & were only suggesting their products as alternatives. When I couldn't find anything on BlueAnt's website that said it was compatible with this specific model (it just said BlackBerry), I thought maybe they were proprietary (& hoping not!).
So as long as the headset is compatible with BT2.0, then I should be ok, correct?

  • Compatible Headset N97

    Starting from the beginning:
all I've wanted is in-ear wired headphones that have a mic so I can be there listening to my music and then switching to a call by a touch of a button, the closest nokia headphone is the WH-700 but on the nokia website the n97 is not listed as compatible.
also I need to know 100% that the headphones are compatible as in the past I have purchased 3 sets each not working and some are nonrefundable as it specify's that it only works with the iphone
has any1 came across a headset matching my description?

My n97 did come with the AD-54 / HS-45, but I want the wh-205 or the wh-701. But neither of those are availiable on the nokia US store and I cannot find out how to get them shipped thru the Europe site. So I was looking for non nokia headsets that I can pick up for cheaper here, but none work even the top quality SkullCandy ones.
I Don't like the two piece mic/remote that came with it since the cord is too short to reach my collar from my pocket where I keep my phone, and even if I can find a place to attach it, the  headphones cable coming out of the remote is a pain to keep out of the way. I normally loop my phones under my clothing so it is not in the way, but with the remote this is not possible since the Headphones have to attach to the remote. This is why I want a microphone and in ear headphones in one piece. I am not too happy that I cannot purchase the accessories I want, plus nokia still has not released the OTA update over in my area yet and I am not internet connected at home, only thru my phone. Ok I am done venting now

  • Nokia Lumia compatible headsets

    Hi
Since i've purchased my Lumia 1020 i'm looking to buy in-ear headset that has the capability to control volume / answer and hang up / microphone just like the apple headset.
But unfortunately in Australia no one sells Nokia compatible accessories and none of the headphones out there clams to work on windows phone.
I tried to get an answer from Nokia through twitter and had no reply.
All i want is a headset can do the features mentioned above for a reasonable price that would be great.
if you have an answer to my problem can you reply with the brand - model number - price and website that would be great .
    thanks

  • Looking for Compatible Headset for Gaming

    Hello all.
With the recent release of a ventrillo client for OS X, I am now in the market for a microphone. After some searching, I determined that the G5 requires a powered mic, and decided that USB would be the easiest way to fulfil this requirement.
My question is twofold: First, does anyone have know of a USB microphone that is compatible with the G5 (all can be a sufficient answer), and Second, does anyone know of a microphone that passes the first criteria, and is attached to the head without any speakers?
The closest I found to this was: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=2310026
Thanks much all, your input is greatly appriciated!
    G5 Mac OS X (10.4.4)
    G5   Mac OS X (10.4.3)

I finally settled for a free standing usb microphone from Logitech:
    http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/US/EN,CRID=103,CONTENTID=6776
It cost 29.99 and has excellent sound quality.
I recommend it to anyone using a microphone for non-recording purposes.

  • Maverick OSX compatible headset

I just bought a 2014 iMac 27" with upgrades of 3.5 i7, 512 GB Flash Storage, plus others to use for a homebased job.  I need to have a headset with microphone to record coaching comments into company supplied WavePad software files.  Instead of an easy seach for the "simple-cheaper" purchase.  I discover many people have issues with Maverick OSX and Headsets with Microphones.
I believe I am interested in a USB connect, super comfortable Over-Ear Sterio headset, with noise cancelling microphone and crystal clear voice for recording.  All this being said... any suggestions?

Mavericks supports Office 2008 and Office 2011, which version do you have?
Qualcomm abandoned Eudora some time ago, it is no longer supported, or develoed. Use a different Mail client.

  • Is bluetooth headset BH-101 compatible with Nokia ...

I have a Nokia 6300 phone and a BH-101 bluetooth headset. The problem is that when i take a call through the bluetooth headset, the person at other end hears an echo of his own voice. I checked and didnt find the BH-101 headset under the compatible headsets for the Nokia 6300.Also, my phone has a old firmware (6.6), the latest one available being 7.21
So, is the echo problem due to the firmware or is it due to the compatibility issue???
Some one please tell me .....
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

No it is a common problem recently bought a BH-101 for my Nokia 6220 and everyone i spoke to on my phone complained of the echo. I took the BD-101 back and received a free replacement but it still echo'ed.
Yesterday i received a new Nokia N85. Still the same problem!
What is Nokia doing about this? Nothing!

  • Stereo Headset (HS-47) not working on Nokia 6650 (...

The manual claims the 2.5mm connector on the phone is for a combatible stereo headset. The Nokia US website does not indicate any compatible headset. The manual does show a HS-47 headset as an accessory. I ordered a HS-47 with the result that only one (the right) speaker works. I returned the HS and received a replacement. Same problem. Is there a setting in the phone that enables the second channel? What did AT&T do to this Phone??? First they took the FM radio out, now you can't even listen to music (it is a music phone) on a stereo headset?

I haven't given up yet.   Here's what Nokia tech support said:
Although it is not listed on the web address I am sure that the Nokia Hs-49 wired headset will function properly with your Nokia 6650
Armed with that information, I looked up all compatible phones with the HS-49 headset, since my real goal is to find a working adapter for the Nokia 6650 Fold.
The HDA-11 2.5mm to 2.5mm TTY adapter apparently is compatible with the Nokia 6650 Fold.  Nokia Tech Support says when queried specifically about this adapter.
"I am pleased to advise you that our Nokia HDA-11 Adapter is compatible with your Nokia 6650 Fold."
My real goal, however, is to be able to use my Sennheiser headphones (3.5mm jack) with this phone.
Googling the HDA-11 has produced this thread on AT&T:
    http://forums.wireless.att.com/cng/board/message?board.id=nokia&message.id=48856
Note that the HDA-11 doesn't do the 2.5mm to 3.5mm job directly, it just provides a 2.5mm jack that you can ostensibly plug a 2.5 to 3.5mm adapter into.  Since I already have one of these (I bought it when I bought the phone naively thinking that it would allow me to use my headphones) , I've ordered the HDA-11 and will see if the thread listed above also applies to the 6650 Fold.
It's amazing to me that Nokia doesn't provide any way to adapt a standard 3.5mm headphone to this jack.
It's also incredible that they list virtually nothing compatible with the headphone jack on this phone on their website.
Equally frustrating is that Nokia seems to have no interest in fixing any of the above.
Stay tuned to this thread.  I'll let y'all know when I get the HDA-11 jack + the 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter lets me use my headphones with this poor excuse for a music phone.
