CUCM 10.5.1 - getting error when adding or updating a phone

We just upgraded from 8.5 to 10.5.1 last weekend.  Have an issue when trying to add or make changes to a phone that the following error occurs:
"Add failed.  The Insert privilege is required for this operation"   I do not get this error but the client service desk does.  I mimic my permissions with one of the client services desk and had them try again and still no change.  When they make a change, the change does save.  However adding phones is not allowed resulted in the same error.
Anyone else run into this?

Hello,
Either Publisher is down or DB replication is broken with it. When we change any configuration, the changes will be written on the publisher and it replicates it to the subscriber even if the changes were done on a subscriber webpage.
Thank you,
Shadi

  • OEM 12c : Deployed MS SQL Server Plug-in. Getting Error When Adding Target Manually

    Hi All,
Request your help regards to Working with Plug-ins.
I am using a Oracle linux 5.9 VM with OEM 12c v12.1.0.3.0 Installed.
I need to work with Non-Oracle Database - specifically MS SQL Server for which I already downloaded and deployed the MS SQL Server Plug-in.
However when trying to add targets manually, I am getting an error saying "Target Type Microsoft SQL Server is not support on selected monitoring agents em12c.localdomain:3872:Plug-in Microsoft SQL Server Database (12.1.0.3.0) or higher is certified on Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12.1.0.3.0.
Can you please guide as to where am i going wrong?
Your help and guidance is highly appreciated.
    Regards.
    Nayan

    Hi Nayan,
This seems to be a issue that a different version of MS SQL plugin was deployed on the Agent side.
As per your description you have already downloaded and deployed the MS SQL Server Plug-in. I am assuming that the version of plugin is 12.1.0.3.
If not you will need to deploy 12.1.0.3 MS SQL plugin on OMS first and then on the Agent which is monitoring the MS SQL targets.
+ Command to get the plugins deployed On OMS server currently,
    $ cd <OMS_HOME>/bin/

  • HT1923 removed itunes after getting error when trying to update. restarted computeer and now i can't download it

I'm trying to re-install i-tunes on my PC but it won't let me. I had an error message when i loaded i-tunes and then uninstalled it as instructed. what do i do now?

After I did that I tried to install and it just tells me "Thank you for using itunes" without actually installing it.
Try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

This issue got resolved using the below payload...basically you will need to update the task with all other task details that you will get in response from getTaskDetailsById() or getTaskDetailsByNumber()...

Does the upgrade finish at all?

  • I am getting error when hovering on document in sharepoint online "sorry there was a problem and we can't open this document. If this happens again, try opening the document in Microsoft Word"

I am getting error when hovering on document in sharepoint online "sorry there was a problem and we can't open this document. If this happens again, try opening the document in Microsoft Word".I am sure that document is not corrupted and
all. something it showing the preview and sometimes it throwing this error. I hope this error is intermident. When clicking on the link also it throws this error but on refreshing it working fine. I dont know why it is happening. Please helpme  to resolve
    this issue.

    Hi Waqas
Thanks for your help with this. I had a look at both posts, the URL works fine from the WAC server and I am not using a System account to test docs.
Also, this is a production site that is accessible over the Internet, so we are using https therefore the WOPIZone is external-https.
Issue #3 in the above blog link does not reflect the same error I see on my servers.
I also had a look at the information in this link: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff431687.aspx#oauth
Problem: You receive a "Sorry, there was a problem and we can't open this document" error when you try to view an Office document in Office Web Apps.
If you added domains to the Allow List by using the
New-OfficeWebAppsHost cmdlet, make sure you’re accessing Office Web Apps from a host domain that’s in the Allow List. To view the host domains in the Allow List, on the Office Web Apps Server open the Windows PowerShell prompt as an administrator and run
the Get-OfficeWebAppsHost cmdlet. To add a domain to the Allow List, use the
    New-OfficeWebAppsHost cmdlet.
I have not added any domains to the Allow list so this did not help either. Should I add the domain?
Any further help with this is much appreciated.
    Thanks again.

  • Error when adding Essbase server...

    Hi,
I installed Hyperion System 9.3.1 in my development machine and encounter the following error when adding a Essbase server in AAS for the first time.
Error: 1042017: Network error: The client or server timed out waiting to receive data using TCP/IP. Check network connections. Increase the NetRetryCount and/or NetDelay values in the ESSBASE.CFG file. Update this file on both client and server. Restart the client and try again.
I used the default user "admin" and password "password". I used my servername:10080 as the server name. I hope I am right.
Why is this happening? I tried changing netdelay settings but still get the same. Is this something else? Does this have anything to do with my TCP/IP settings? I am installing this on a virtual PC.
I couldn't find an answer in previous posts.
    regards
    h

The things that come to mind:
The server name you use should be the name of the virtual PC, not the machine it's running on. Also, depending on the settings for the Virtual PC environment, you may have to change the network options to allow it to be visible to the network, be in the right domain, etc...
The above may or may not get you any closer, the error message itself is just saying it can't receive a response from the server, which means the server never got the request or can't send a response back.
    Good Luck,

  • Errors when adding resources to rg in zone cluster

    Hi guys,
I managed to create and bring up a zone cluster, create a rg and add a HAStoragePlus resource (zpool), but getting errors when I want to add a lh resource. Here's the output I find relevant:
    root@node1:~# zpool list
NAME           SIZE  ALLOC   FREE  CAP  DEDUP  HEALTH  ALTROOT
    rpool         24.6G  10.0G  14.6G  40%  1.00x  ONLINE  -
    zclusterpool   187M  98.5K   187M   0%  1.00x  ONLINE  -
    root@node1:~# clzonecluster show ztestcluster

Now I want to add  a lh (zclusterip - 192.168.10.55) to a resource group named z-test-rg.

    Hello,
First of all, I detected a mistake in my previous config: instead of adding an ipmp, a "simple" NIC was added to cluster. I rectified that (I created zclusteripmp0 ipmp out of net11):

To answer your first question, yes - all global nodes and zone cluster nodes have entries for zclusterip:
    root@zclnode2:~# cat /etc/hosts
    # Copyright 2009 Sun Microsystems, Inc.  All rights reserved.
    # Use is subject to license terms.

    192.168.10.55   zclusterip
    root@zclnode2:~# ping zclnode1
    zclnode1 is alive
When I tried the command you mentioned, first it gave me an error ( there was a space between interfaces), then I changed the rg group to fit mine (z-test-rg) and it  (partially) worked:
    root@zclnode2:~# clrs create -g z-test-rg -t LogicalHostname -p Netiflist=sc_ip
    mp0@1,sc_ipmp0@2 -p Hostnamelist=zclusterip zclusterip-rs
