CUCM 4.3 using BLF and Speed Dials features.

Hello,
Does anyone has some informations about if BLF and Speed Dials work with CUCM 4.3
We have tested it using 6.1 and it works
We have the needing to use both features Speed Dials ( and not Call Park ) and BLF.
Thanx in advance
Marco

Hi Marco,
Sadly, support for BLF/Speeddials was not added until CCM 5.x so these features are not supported in CCM 4.3
Hope this helps!

  • Bluetooth and Speed Dial Issue

I just got a new 8830, and have updated to latest software - 4.5.0.77, and am having two problems I can't find answers for.
Bluetooth - I enable Bluetooth;  it works fine.  After I power down and up again, the Bluetooth is disabled and has to be enabled again.  Why does it not just stay enabled?
When the phone is locked (enterprise server), I can't use the speed dials, even though I have the phone set to Allow Calls when Locked.  I can make calls, but not use speed dial.
My old 7130e allowed did not these things.  Are there ways to fix these?
    TIA...

    Hello and welcome to the forums;
Are any of your contacts assigned to the Z or B keys? If so, try reprogramming those contacts temporarily to another key. Also, have you tried un-assigning a speed dial and then re-assigning it to see if the speed dial comes back?
    Hope this helps,

  • Contacts and Speed Dial issue

This evening I went to call someone on my Pre Plus and my contacts were gone.  Rebooted, they came back.  Tried the speed dial again and it does not work.  The contacts DO have the speed dials assigned.  They worked yesterday....Anyone know what the problem is?  I can't find anything here about it!

  • Speed dial feature

I am having g trouble finding how to set up the touch and hold speed dial functions on my bb10. Is this still available on this phone? If so where would I find it? Thanks in advance.
    John

Speed dial is little diffrent on the Z10 than the old BB smart phones. Instead of pressing a number on the dial pad to dial someone.  It puts an icon on your list, up to 9 including your voicemail icon. To do this, click on the phone icon on your home page,  Click on Contacts, Find the person you want to add to speed dial, Click on their name and their phone numbers slid out. Select which number of your contact you want on speed dial and hold it down for 2 seconds. A little Star pops on the right, click on it and it will add to your speed dial .To make it easier, add a picture to your contacts and it will have their picture on the speed dial.

  • N8 and speed dial, No spaces allowed?!?!?!

When i wan to put a number with spaces on a short dial key (e.g. long press "2") spaces in the number is not allowed!!! (e.g. +xx xxx xxxxx)
Why this? In the normal contact list it is no problem even with ().

    Paul,
Enter P9_USERID in Expression1. No preceding colon ':'

  • CME 4.0 bulk speed dials

I need to use the bulk speed dial feature in CME 4.0. I have set up the lists and tested calling.. All this works fine. However, I need to enter pauses in the dial string. The administration doc indicates that a comma should insert a one second pause. This does not work and also seems kind of wierd for a csv file.. Anyone get this to work??
    Thanks!
    -Patrick

    Hello Patrick,
being that it is a csv(comma seperated variables) you'll probably have problems with this. To get the csv file to accept the commas as part of your string you will have to put quotes around it. Example
    "123,,,456,,,",test,test

  • 5800 - cannot speed dial and dial from handsfree c...

I verified the following behaviour of the new 5800 which seems to me to be a bug, because it works on other nokia series 60 phones:
Because I synchronize my phonebook with MS Outlook, phone numbers have the syntax "+43 (1) 9876543". These phonebook entries can be dialed without problems when I call using the phonebook.
But if I use the speed dialing feature (press and hold e.g. key "2" ), I get the message "Nicht gestattet" (German, means "not allowed" ), and the number is not dialed. If I delete the spaces and the brackets, dialing is possible without problems.
The same behaviour can be seen if I try to dial from my built in handsfree set in my car with numbers as described above.
Before the 5800 I used a E65 and a 6120c, there the syntax described above worked without problems.
    Software: v11.0.008.red.01
    Any clues?
    Best regards,
    Thomas

    FIX...
I got this, I found out it happened when the number has spaces in it.
Try cleansing the number of all spaces and punctuation (and prefix with +country code)
    This works for me.

Sorry, this is no fix, this is a workaround. It is clear, that this will avoid the problems. But PIMs like MS Outlook create phone numbers in this format; after synchronization with my phone, there are spaces in all of the phone numbers. Therefore I suggest, Nokia implements this like for all other S60v3 phones. This would be the only fix. Regards, Thomas.

  • Freetalk-1200 Connect.Me speed dial problem

Just received my long awaited Connect.Me and it's been working just as I expected. The only problem I encountered was that I couldn't assing speed dial numbers to 2 of my contacts. Others work perfectly, when I click them, box of information appears to the middle of the screen, but when I click one of the two with the problem, nothing happens.
I have tried everything like resetting from the button and from the web UI, deleting and adding them again to my contacts but nothing helps. Adding new contacts works fine. I would not rather create a new Skype account for my self - nor ask these two friends to make a new account for themselves - just because of this problem. Any kind of advice is welcome
    Cheers from Finland!

Skype hasn't supported speed dials in it's software for some time.  It's considered a legacy feature. The use of speed dials is configured through the Freetalk Connect Me web interface, not the Skype client.  You need to sign into your Connect Me device via your web browser and click on "Contacts and Speed Dials".  Once there all your contacts will be listed on the left pane.  Select any one of those contacts and click "ADD TO SPEED DIAL".  It will assign a speed dial number incrementally on the right pane.  You can change that number to a number of your choosing (0-99) at any time.  That's all it takes to set up.  If you recently add a contact it my not show on that list.  If it doesn't sign off the client in which you added the contact or contact changes, then power cycle the Connect Me box and log back in.  It should update.  If it does not, the only other alternative is to do a factory reset on the unit so that it will purge the list and updated it with the latest copy.  Below I attached an image of the screen, though it may take some time until it gets approved and displayed to the general public.

  • System-wide Speed Dials

Is there a way to set up speed dials system-wide in UCM 5.1? We have about 25 remote locations and we want anybody in the company to be able to use speed dials (or something similar) to dial their main number. We don't want to add them to Active Directory because there are other apps pulling from there.

Depending on configuration, your phone can support several speed-dial features:
    Speed-dial Numbers
    Abbreviated Dialing
    Fast Dials

  • Speed Dials on 7941/61?

Here's a simple one for you. When I set up Speed Dials on 7911G's, I can scroll through them using the Green UP/Down Arrow Keys. This feature doesn't seem to be in the 7941/61G's. In order to use the speed dials, I need to dials the number and press AbbrDial. This is fine but the User would then need to know all of their speed dials off the top of their head from the beginning.

    Hi,
You have probably solved this already. But just in case.
7941 / 61's can have both abbr dials and speed dials. The speed dials on these phones are associated to the line buttons on the phone. i.e. 1 speed dial on a 41 and 5 on a 61.
However, you need to change the phone button template so that the buttons are set to speed dial instead of lines.
Then they should be available to set as speed dials.
    Cheers,
    Tim.

  • Speed dials for Intercom numbers?

Does anyone know how to set up speed dials for intercom numbers (CUCM 6.0)?
    -Shikamaru

Number of speed dials varies by IP phone model. User-configured speed dial and call forward through Web access
Users can configure their own speed dial numbers and call forwarding targets on a person web page.

  • Dialing by speed dialing

Is  there a way I can speed dialing, by assigning an 1 digit to a phone number, and I do not mean to Favorites.
I would like to find a way to assign one digit for speed dialing I need. Is there a way on the iPhone, or we are continueing to be close by the wall of Jobes.
    TIA

WE are NOT Apple. This is a user to user forum.  You've been told. You can't do that. You will need to use favorites for speed dialing. I'm so sorry you'll be so terribly inconvenienced by having to tap a name instead of a single digit to call someone, but that's the way it is. With a touch screen phone, speed dial numbers make very little sense.

  • Speed dialing by letter on Droid 4

I bought a Droid 4 when my Palm Centro died. One of the features I liked was the ability to assign a letter for speed dialing. A letter is much more easily remembered than a number. Is it possible to assign a letter for speed dialing on the Droid 4?

    Jennifer,
I appreciate your prompt reply re: Direct Dialing feature.   I think this feature is a good one for those that chose it.  However, I am extremely unhappy that the "speed dialing" feature (press and hold a number button) has been arbitrarily removed from Jelly Bean.  Opening the folder of Direct Dial icons may be faster in some cases, when dialing only amongst a  group of friends, rather than opening the dialer and dialing for business use or for dialing friends by holding a button, although I cannot see how.  It certainly lacks consistency with prior Android interfaces and without other phone and other user interfaces.  This was a bad decision and I hope Verizon can be an advocate for the return of true speed dialing in the next Android release.

  • Speed dial was the main attraction of Firefox! Why can't I have it in the current version?

Running Windows XP, loved Firefox and Speed Dial. Downloading the new version of Firefox messed up everything.
I've sent in reports re crashing . No replies from you. Think I'm losing interest, and will stick with Internet Explorer.

Crash reports go into a pool of data used to find problems in Firefox, but they do not generate a personal response. If you have the crash ID number, some people here can look up your crash report and give you advice on it.
If you decide you haven't lost interest, have you tried this article? [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Firefox%20crashes Firefox crashes | Troubleshooting | Firefox Help].
Also, there are several speed dial and fast dial add-ons. If yours isn't compatible with Firefox 5, you might be able to find a great alternative.
