CUCM 9.0 Hunt-Group Phone( all phones in the hunt group) reset

Hi,
we have 7945 , 03 phones with attendanat consoles connected , all three phones get reset at the same time ,
this happens once each 4-5 days time, these three phones are conencted to LAN using two different switches ,
so it cannot be a problem with the switches , or conenctivity , ( other phones do not reset at that time , only these three phones which are in the same hunt group reset )
please advice us

There is no option to check on your phone on who picked up the call in the pickup group. Please check the following link for the behavior of 89XX and 99XX IP phones

    If you have been backing up to iCloud your camera roll photos, text messages and other data and setting should be contained in the backup.  Restoring the backup to the phone should recover them.
    To do this, go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings (which will erase the phone), then go through the setup screens on the phone and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup and follow the prompts.  Be sure your phone is connected to wifi and your charger as this may take some time to finish.

    In customizing I can see:
    1) up to 1 kg  = group 0001
    2) up to 10 kg = group 0010
    3) up to 20 kg = group 0020
    4) up to 1000 kg =  group 0100
    When customizing I only need group 0020 and 0100. So I fill only group
    0020 and group 0100.
    But if I fill in the determination sequence 0020 and 0100 it goes wrong when the
    total weight is for example 7 kilo. The system 'sees'that 0010 is not filled and won't propose the route from group 0020. But that is up to 20 kg. Why not?
    Do I have to maintain all my kilo groups in customizing? Not only the one I need?
    Please help me out. Point awarded!!

    Instead of maintaining as:
    1) up to 1 kg = group 0001
    2) up to 10 kg = group 0010
    3) up to 20 kg = group 0020
    4) up to 1000 kg = group 0100
    Try out with
    1) up to 1 kg = group 0001
    2) from 1.00... kg to 10 kg = group 0010
    3) from 10.00... to 20 kg = group 0020
    4) 20.00... up to 1000 kg = group 0100
    and then to the route determination on basis if weight group. I hope this should solve your problem. Please let me know if I've not interpreted your query correctly.

    If you regularly send messages to the same set of people, you can create a group for them in the Contacts app. Then just type the name of the group in the address field of your message; Mail sends your message to each group member at the email address specified in Contacts.
    To prevent individual email addresses from being shown when you send messages to groups, choose Mail > Preferences, click Composing, then deselect “When sending to a group, show all member addresses.”

  • Macbook pro logs out of network when left idle and then I need to turn off the router and all computers in the house to reset the system.

    I have a macbook pro running 10.6.8.  Since I got it over a year ago it will disconnect from the network when left idle and then not be able to reconnect.  All computers in the house have to be shut down and the router turned off in order to reconnect again.   My son just updated his macbook using my os disc and now his computer is doing the same thing.  What can we do?

  • In panorama, when I left click and drag to open a new tab group, unclicking doesn't create the new group and left clicking again only creates another group without finalizing the first one.

    In Firefox 4.0 beta 11 (Windows 7 Professional) left clicking in panorama creats a new tab group but letting go doesn't finalise the group. I have XP mode on my computer and firefox b11 works fine in the virtual PC.

    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

  • Extending the Hunting time on a Hunt Group CUCM 8.5.1

    Good afternoon.  We are trying to implement a hunt group for our main switchboard.  The scenario would be all calls to the home office come into a hunt pilot and then hunt, top down, to the main switchboard extension and then to a choice of 3 other devices that would be logged in.  The problem is that we cannot get the hunt group to hunt longer than 1 minute.  I have changed the RNA Reversion Timeout and with all the devices logged it, the call will only hunt until the 60 seconds has expired and then the call drops; 15 seconds at the RNA Reversion Timeout will get to all 4 devices - anything longer and the call drops before finishing the hunting process.  From the information that I can find, a hunt group should "hunt" for up to 30 minutes (or so we read in the Hunt Pilot information).  We're using a "Top Down" algorithm since we want all calls to always start at the switchboard directory number, and all of the Hunt Options are set to "Try Next member; then, try next group in Hunt List".  The only place where we have indicated any time is on the Line Group - RNA Reversion Timeout.  There are times where only the switchboard device may be logged into the hunt and we need to have that ring time at 60 seconds minimum for the call to be handled appropriately.
    Is this a simple overlook on our part or are we limited in what we want to do?

    I just wanted to add a note to the excellent tips from my friend Aaron here (+5 "A")
    The Maximum Hunt Timer is only leveraged when considering it in conjunction with the Call Forward settings on the Hunt Pilot config as noted here;
    Maximum Hunt Timer
    Enter a value (in seconds) that specifies the maximum time for hunting. Valid values specify 1 to 3600. The default value specifies 1800 seconds (30 minutes).
    This timer cancels if either a hunt member answers the call or if the hunt list gets exhausted before the timer expires. If you do not specify a value for this timer, hunting continues until a hunt member answers or hunting exhausts. If neither event takes place, hunting continues for 30 minutes, after which the call gets taken for final treatment.
    Note If hunting exceeds the number of hops that the Forward Maximum Hop Count service parameter specifies, hunting expires before the 30-minute maximum hunt timer value, and the caller receives a reorder tone.
    In addition, Cisco Unified CM only uses the configuration for the Maximum Hunt Timer setting if you configure the Hunt Forward settings in the Hunt Pilot Configuration window.

    Symptom:
    In the Hunt Pilot form, under Hunt Forward Settings, there is a field
    called Maximum Hunt Timer (MHT). The description in the online help is misleading.
    Currently, it conveys that the setting will be used when calling the Hunt Pilot
    directly, which is not true. This setting is only used if Hunt Forward Settings
    are configured.
    So, to accomplish what you want you'll need to set up and link multiple Line Groups that contain the same 4 member DN's via the "Try next member,then try next Group in Hunt List" setting.
    Let's say in our example the members of the first Line Group Called Main#1 are 3333,4444,5555 and 6666 then you create a second Line group called Main#2 that contains 3333,4444,5555 and 6666 and Main#3 that contains 3333,4444,5555 and 6666.
    Include Main#1,Main#2 and Main#3 in the Hunt List; and Switch the rule on the first Line Group
    to, Try next Member;then try next Group in Hunt List and Switch the rule on the Second Line
    Group to, Try next Member;then try next Group in Hunt List.
    This will then cycle through the Members 3333,4444,5555 and 6666 three complete times.

  • Phone Contacts Question on the DX

    Is it possible to add a contact from another group (example All Contacts) to the Phone Contacts group?  When I click on Add Contact, it brings a screen to enter all the info.  I don't see an option to select a personf from another group to add here.

    I have provided information below that will help in transferring contacts from one group to the other. To move a contact from one group to another, I would recommend creating a contact group. I have provided the steps below:
    Select the Applications menu
    Select Contacts
    Select the Menu Key
    Select Display group
    Create a new group (name the group anything you wish)
    Select Add (select the check mark next to the name you wish to add from the all contacts section).
    Select save when finished.
    ***If you wish to remove a created group, I have listed the instruction below:
    Select the Applications menu
    Select Contacts
    Select the Menu Key
    Select Display group
    Select the created group
    Select the Menu Key
    Select More
    Delete the account

    A slip of the mouse in trying to return to the left-most tab caused the tab groups feature to take over the window. I completely failed to comprehend what I was looking at and closed the thing by clicking the x because I damn sure didn't want what I was looking at. Undo close group? Of course not, I didn't want a group in the first place. Hey! My tabs are completely gone now! So in just a few steps all of which seemed innocent, I have lost all but ten of the tabs that were open, and those were only the most recent ten (and actually older tabs would have been more valueable than newer so insult on top of injury).
    I don't think increasing the number of undoable tab closures is the answer. I think getting rid of the tab groups feature all together is the best way to go. I seem to have lost all the tabs I had open, irretrievably, and some of them had been open for WEEKS so they can't be reopened from history.
    The tab groups feature is a data loss bug. Please remove it from the UX completely. If you have to figure out a way to grandfather people who actually have a tab group, fine but don't further vex me with it, please.
    The reason this catastrophe has occurred is that your feature, was so discoverable that I activated it by mistake, and the UI after that had to be learned on the spot, yet was too complicated to learn. You really should withdraw it until you can figure out how to keep the UI for it from causing data loss such as I have experienced this morning.
    Also, there may be other questions on this feature which are from a certain point of view the same as this one. It's hard for me to tell for sure. None of them had a true resolution so that's why I posted this one, also I'm seeking a specific fix, removal of the offending feature.
    Why remove the feature? Because if I allow in my discussion the possibility of retaining it, it will stick around in its present and dangerous form until your team is done bikeshedding the new form it should take. Instead I want you to delete the feature and then require its champion to convince you that a new incarnation won't cause data loss before you allow it back in.
    Fellow users, if you know of a way to recover all 50 lost tabs from an "undo close tab group incident", I would be grateful for that advice, but I would still believe the feature should be deleted. Some of the tabs have been retained for months so digging them out of the history is not practical.

    I am not 100% certain but I am fairly sure development of this tab feature has ceased and it is likely to be deprecated. I am even less sure what the replacement will be.

    I have not tried this and am not even using Windows at present but the tabs groups are stored as entries in the sessionstore.js files. Firefox has such a file plus sometimes numbered copies and a backup copy. Firefox will have re-writen these files but I suppose there is a posibility the Windows OS may have kept copies.

    Find and backup any current sessionstore.js file. Consider also bookmark or otherwise recording anything you have open. Now find any previous versions and try putting them in Firefox's profile before restarting it.

    Try using the BCC field as a workaround.
    Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

  • How do i use WGM or dcsl to change the primary groups of users, defined by another group?

    i've got a ton of users, whose primary group is "current student". they all belong to the other group "year 13"
    they've left school, so i thought it would be easy to do a search of users with GID equal to or containing the GID for "year 13" (in this case 1121) and then change their primary group to "left school"
    except that doesn't work. i can only search for them in WGM by primary group, it seems. therefore i cannot do any batch operations on a secondary group.
    so. how do i do this? is there a way of scripting dcsl to find users by 'other group' and then change the primary group attribute?
    i'm going to need to be doing a lot of this (changing the other gropus of a school full of students). bit stumped.

    Though i know the alternative method to create product group by MMO1 and selecting the material type PROD, then also i want to know why system is throwing the error while creating the product group by MC84.

    This message says that you have not entered a mandatory field.Enter proper values for all mandatory fields and then you will not get this error.
    Try to create the product group as material of material type"PROD"
    Then you go on adding the memebers in SOP Transaction.
    In some of the versions of SAP it is the problem.
    I have also faced this problem in some versions.

  • Copy Group or Layer to *Below* the Selected layer

    Hey everyone,
    So I have a bit of a workflow problem. It's not a huge deal but it's one of those things that really adds up over time. Whenever I'm designing mock ups for a page I usually work from the top down. In cases of let's say laying out items in a blog roll, I will
    - Set up all the elements for the post (Title, author, date, body etc...)
    - Group them together
    - Select the group
    - Hold down Cmd/Ctrl + Option/Alt + Shift and drag down to make a duplicate group
    My problem is that the new group (or layer) appears *above* the original one, so now I have to go back into my layers panel and move Post 2 below Post 1 so the structural hiearchy of my Groups/Layers reflect (for the most part) the visual hiearchy of my design.
    Are there any keyboard shortcuts, or checkboxes I can tick to have duplicate items appear below the original in terms of layer hiearchy?
    Any help would be much appreciate!

    I don't know of anyway to have a group created below another group.  I know that if you ctrl/cmd-click to create a new layer, it will be created below the current layer.  My only suggestion is to use ctrl/cmd-[ to move the group down - just be sure the group is collapsed, otherwise your new group would go into the group below.

    After I installed a few updates and restarted my server  mailman won't accept mails and throws this error instead:
