[CUDA] Error in script file

Hi,
I've just installed cuda using the command pacman -S cuda. The installation went fine. However, when I tried to launch NSight, I got this error:
/opt/cuda/bin/nsight: ligne2: /cuda/opt/cuda/libnsight/nsight: Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type
It seems that the body of the script is not coherent with the installation path.
To fix this problem, I changed the paths inside the file starting with /cuda/opt/... to /opt/...
The question is: how to push this change into the arch repo ?
Thanks for your answers

I think you should try to dowload the zip file once more. You could try to use a download manager tool.

  • I keep getting script errors regardless of the FF version I'm running. This time it's on 3.6 and the error is Script: file:///C:/Program%20Files/Mozilla%20Firefox/modules/utils.js:1027

I had to downgrade from ver. 4.0 back to 3.6 for my job. This version is the only on compatible with their add-ons and it gives me script errors at least twice a day. The only add-ons I'm running are for work and others who do this job don't have this problem. Using 4.0 I did experience it less often but it wasn't completely cured.

This is typically caused by a problem with the Personas Plus 1.6 add-on and it conflicting with the Google toolbar.
Try disabling the Personas Plus add-on. To do this open the add-ons manager by selecting the Tools menu, then Add-ons. In the list of installed extensions click on Personas Plus, then click on either disable or uninstall.
If you can not access the add-ons manager, follow the instructions in the [[safe mode]] article to start Firefox in safe mode. You should then be able to disable or uninstall Personas Plus. You can find more information on this procedure in the [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] article.

  • When I start Firefox the following script error appears Script: file:///C:/Program%20Files/Siber%20Systems/AI%20RoboForm/Firefox/components/rfhelper32.js:130

I then press OK and Firefox starts normally, how do I fix this ?

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]]
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the ''Safe mode'' start window.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (on Mac: "Firefox > Quit")

  • Error unable to open script file

I have been using DW8 since it came out. I am running Windows 7. Everything was working fine until I had hard drive failure. Replaced hard drive reinstalled Windows and DW8. Now when I try to insert an image I get the message "unable to open java script file c:\program files\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 8\configuration\objects\common\AccessibleImage.js (error 2)".
I have done the usual--rename config file--reinstall DW8--clean register and reinstall--run as admin.--run in compatibility with XP SP2, etc. but nothing works.
Help would be invaluable to me.

Your version isn't listed here but something on this page may help you...

@Jack – you were using a joboptions file by Distiller to convert a PostScript file to a PDF/X-1a.
What you get is no error message, just a report, that everything went ok. And in this case I cannot see any advantage using PDF Export for printing to PostScript/distilling to PDF. Ok, maybe one, CS5 and above would export in a background process.
To prevent InDesign flattening transparency, you could use PDF/X-4 as your export setting. You cannot use writing to PostScript for that task.
Check including tags for tagged export to prevent misalignment of text because of a strange bug with PDF Export when you are using 9pt text on 12pt leading or text with a ratio of 9/12 for point size and leading in multicolumn text frames.

  • Error on boot: "Can not find script file "C:\ProgramData\Lenovo-20841.vbs".

Recently I'm getting an error dialog box on my T530 when I boot it into my OEM installation of Windows 8.  The window title bar is "Windows Script Host", and the error message is:
Error on boot: "Can not find script file "C:\ProgramData\Lenovo-20841.vbs".
I pulled up an old backup, and I do have that file, along with a number of other ones that are missing from that directory.  I'm attaching a screenshot of the files that are missing.  Not sure why they would have been deleted (I know I didn't do it manually).  Should I just restore the file?  What about the other ones?
    Thanks very much.

I am getting a different VBS script error than the one listed above.
Does anyone know how I can get this file?  or recreate it?
I get a similar message saying that it can't find the file c:\programdata\Lenovo-11472.vbs
Also, my wireless just randomly resets - sometimes very few minutes - after I've been using the system for a while.  It's brand new and I can't figure out what's going on.  Could this be the issue?
When I restart, it stays stable for a while and then starts acting up again.
    Thanks for your help!

Hmmm....   I haven't seen that, but I can tell you what I would do if I were you.  This is kind of drastic, but the alternative may be a workstation reimage.
Open the windows control panel, and open the add/remove programs snap in.
    Uninstall the CRS editor.
Uninstall all the JRE instances you have.  They may be listed as something like Java (TM) update....   or they may appear as J2SE Runtime....   Check in the J's (it's alphabetical) and uninstall all of them.
    Reboot the machine.
Download and reinstall Java 1.6.0.17   (This is what's running on my workstation right now, and it works with the editor).
    Reinstall the CRS editor
    Reboot the machine
Try it and see if it behaves.  If it doesn't, you may need to rebuild the whole thing.

I encountered this issue with Win 7 but fixed it by doing the following: Open up AVG and then click on Tools / Advanced settings. On the bottom of the list should be AVG Security Toolbar, click on it. There should be an option to Repair the toolbar.

  • Error 1308.Source file not found with 9.4.2 Admin Install point

I'm including as much information in this post as possible to help narrow down my problem, so if it's too wordy I appologize.
I've created an Admin install point for Acrobat 9 patching it up to Acrobat 9.4.2 using the following commands in a batch file:

I rename the folder "AcrobatPro9AIP" to reflect the current version (e.g. "Acrobat9.4.2"), copy the folder to my DFS, create an MST with the Customization Wizard, and then deploy with Group Policy.
Before I deploy I always run a few test installations on two Windows XP 32-bit machines, and two Windows 7 64-bit workstations. I've been using this method to build my install point for the last 5 Adobe patches without a problem, but suddenly with version 9.4.2 my test workstations pop up with the following error during the installation via the standard installation method "msiexec /i acropro.msi TRANSFORMS=acropro.mst":
I built my installation package for acrobat9.4.1, 9.4.0 and 9.3.3 exactly the same way and the installations did not have this error. The file in question "Adobe.Acrobat.Dependencies.manifest" does not exist in my 9.4.1, or 9.4.0 package folders, nor does it exist in the 9.4.2 folder. Any suggestions?

I am having the same problem, all the relevant info was already covered in the "thewaker" post above.   I too have made a script to make a Admin install with patches up to 9.4.2.  The script worked for 9.3.3 but when I remade the AdobeAIP for 9.4.2, I too got this error when installing it, even manually.  (Error 1308.Source file not found.  Adobe.Acrobat.Dependencies.manifest ) Running on Windows 7 32bit.
    Here is my Script.
    C:
    cd\AcroBatPro9
    md \AcrobatPro9AIP
    start /wait msiexec /a AcroPro.msi TARGETDIR=C:\AcrobatPro9AIP /Liv c:\AcrobatPro9AIP\install900.log /qn

    start /wait msiexec /p c:\AcrobatPro9\AcrobatUpd942_all_incr.msp /a AcroPro.msi TARGETDIR=C:\AcrobatPro9AIP PATCHAIP=1 /Liv install942.log /qn
I did notice though that the "thewaker" has added AcrobatUpd941_all_incr.msp to his script, which is a security update. Which may be "a" problem, but I don’t think this is related to the problem we are having.
    Administrative deployment
Administration Installation Point (AIP) deployments must not apply a quarterly update AIP in which a security update was the most recently applied update. Because a quarterly update includes the changes implemented in all recent security updates, the quarterly update forcibly bypasses those updates entirely. To deploy a quarterly update from an AIP, create a AIP which includes only quarterly updates as follows:
        Acceptable:      Acrobat 9.0.0 -> 9.1.0 (Quarterly) -> 9.1.2 (Quarterly) -> 9.2.0 (Quarterly) -> 9.3.0 (Quarterly) -> 9.3.2 (Quarterly) -> 9.3.3 (Quarterly) ->  9.4.0 (Quarterly) -> 9.4.1 (Security)
        Acceptable:      Acrobat 9.0.0 -> 9.1.0 (Quarterly) -> 9.1.2 (Quarterly) -> 9.2.0 (Quarterly) -> 9.3.0 (Quarterly) -> 9.3.2 (Quarterly) -> 9.3.3 (Quarterly) -> 9.4.0 (Quarterly) -> 9.4.2 (Quarterly)
        Unacceptable:  Acrobat 9.0.0 -> 9.1.0 (Quarterly) -> 9.1.2 (Quarterly) -> 9.2.0 (Quarterly) -> 9.3.0 (Quarterly) -> 9.3.2 (Quarterly) -> 9.3.3 (Quarterly) -> 9.4.0 (Quarterly) -> 9.4.1 (Security) -> 9.4.2 (Quarterly)
Anyway.. Any help with this would be helpful as I would like to deploy it soon.
    Thanks.

  • How can you detect (from a script file) that javac found problems?

The subject line says it all, but the background is:
I have a script file (.bat, since am stuck on windoze for the moment) which is doing some compilation using javac.
I would like to skip all subsequent activities in the script file after the call to javac if any file failed to compile.
So, what can I use as a signal from javac that it found a problem?
I initially tried detecting an exit code from javac that was non zero, but javac does not seem to emit such an exit coe when it objects to a file (it still returns with 0 as an exit code).
The only remaining strategy that I can think of is to pipe javac's output to a file, and if there is any content in it then assume that it indicates an error and use that as a signal.
This is suboptimal because it will give false signals for mere warnings, so if anyone has a better suggestion, please post

You are right: it appears that javac does exit with an exit code of 1 if an error is detected in one of the files being compiled, at least on the windows jdk.
To prove this, create an arbitrary java source file called HelloWorld.java, and create a msdos .bat file in the same directory that looks like
    @echo on
    javac  -Xlint:deprecation  HelloWorld.java
    :handleError
@if not errorlevel 1 goto finalActions
@echo ERROR DETECTED: compile.bat will TERMINATE PREMATURELY
    :finalActions
@echo compile.bat now terminatedBy playing around with what you put in the source file (totally clean code, stuff that should compile but issue a warning, and garbage that should not compile) as well as with the exit code value detected by the .bat file, for instance trying
@if not errorlevel 2 goto finalActions(see http://www.robvanderwoude.com/errorlevel.html if you need some documentation on error codes in dos bat files), I have determined the following as javac's behavior on windows:
If code is pristine, exit code = 0.
If code causes javac to emit a warning but is compilable, exit code = 0.
If code cannot be compiled, exit code = 1.
