CUP: Log in credentials into user request information

Hi Experts,
I've configured the customize request for all the request petitioner.
When the requestor is logged in system, their credentials (Name, surname, ID_USER and e-mail) are automatically filled in the user gaps (from General Information menu)
Any suggestion for make that these gaps appear empty??

thanks for you answer, but I think that I didn´t explain me clearly.
when the petitioner is logged in the system, their credentials appear in the user information request.
for example, if I am the petitioner and I want create a new count. I log into system and my ID_User, name, surname and e-mail appear in the gaps where I have to fill the new user information.
So, I don´t understand the reason because this gaps appear filled with wrong information

Or Is it possible to add this attribute, into the list of Details or "view details" section of the request task?

Are you using OIM 11g R1/R1 PS1?
If yes then it would be easy to add in "view details" section but there are some challenges around that. What should OIM do if you raise request for multiple users who belong to different countries ? If you want to show different countries for different users then it is not possible.

Over the years I have had many ISP and email addresses - but now we have finally gone almost fully virtual...
I have a live login and MS ID 4 my SkyDrive account but I only use my MS touch with 8.1, SkyDrive and office 365 for mobility.
And I still like to backup to my own server!!!
What would be good is if I can put all the software licenses and product keys of the software and keep a record of my mac addresses for hardware and even static IP's in a file or a secure location within the MS online store.
That's where MS wants me to get my computing needs from in future and I will always be able to retrieve it in future but what about the $$$$$ I have spent on software, hardware and applications prior to now???
I know u guys love 2 collect data 4 marketing analysis,

I looked at dozens of support pages and forum blogs and tried for hours to get a copy to download - including incognito and other logins but because my default PC name is also my MS Windows live ID the same error was repeated.
I keep away from the non MS sites for these things and with good reason - there were heaps of similar users with the same issue or very close to it that had downloaded from a supposed MS copy from eValue or digital river etc and the next
thing was total corruption of the OS.
EVENTUALLY I found a LIVE MS chat on a support site in the US and she gave me a link to a slightly older version which will need updating and some reg edit changes but so far, so good.
The point is - what a crock !
I should be able to just keep all my software, drivers, updates, service packs, and versions that I have upgraded in the MS store.
If Microsoft aren't going to support XP or Office 2003 and eventually 2007, vista & Windows7 not far behind??? then that's still no excuse for them to put these restrictions and limits when I OWN my copy of the software!!
Unlike office 365 and SkyDrive space which is described in the T&C (that we all read before ticking that radial button to agree of course) as ONLY under a leased licence.
IF Microsoft can support AND develop software that supports SQL2000 Servers, why is it so hard to archive and keep the same info for everyone???

How to get Requester Login information into the request dataset validator

Friends,
I need to check whether the requester is part of a group or not before submitting the request. If not I need to throw an error.

Could not complete your request because of missing or invalid user personalization information on Vista?

I recently tried to install PhotoShop CS4 on a Vista machine. I could not get it to activate, found out from Adobe that it was a bad serial number. So, I uninstalled it, and tried to reinstall my good old standby - Creative Suite 1.0. This has worked for YEARS!
Now, I get the error "could not complete your request because of missing or invalid user personalization information" when I try to launch PhotoShop 8.0. All other applications of the Creative Suite are working. There is no serial number posting in the window of PhotoShop when I launch it.
I am sure it is something in the registry. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times with no success.
Can anyone help?

I cannot log into user account with old password after using migration assistant.

I used Migration Assistant to move only my Settings and Users from my Power PC (User name RLE 5) to my Mac Pro. Because of what I have read in these forums I did not migrate applications or and files/folders. I will do that manually. After migrating I tried logging in to my user account RLE 5 on my Mac Pro, but it is telling me I am using the wrong password. I used the same password I used on my Power PC, but with no luck. On my Mac Pro I went into System Preferences>Accounts>RLE 5 account and changed the password. I then rebooted and tried again. No luck.
Can somebody help me with this problem?

What you propose would not solve the problem I am having. I must not have been clear about it. So I will elaborate.
I have a Power PC with 10.5.8. The admin user account name is RLE 5. I need a password to log into my root user account on my Power PC.
Then I bought a used Mac Pro with a clean install of 10.7.5 and no password set up yet for my admin user account. The admin user account name is Mac Pro. When I turn on the computer it opens to my admin user account where I have access to everything.
I used Migrations Assistant to move my Settings and Users from my Power PC to my Mac Pro. That seemed to to successfully.
So I now have four users on my Mac Pro: RLE 5 (the admin user from my Power PC with the password), Mac Pro (my admin user which does not require a password), and two guest user accounts.
I turn on my Mac Pro and it opens to my Mac Pro admin user account. I don't need to sign in. No problem.
I log out of Mac Pro. On my screen are the four user accounts. I click on RLE 5 (which was my admin user account on my Power PC that I migrated over to my Mac Pro) to log into that account and it asks me for a password. I type in the password I used for my Power PC. It keeps telling me it is the incorrect password.
I cannot log into my user account RLE 5 on the Mac Pro. I am being told I have the incorrect password. I've gone to System Preferences>Accounts and changed the password. It doesn't make a difference.
Also I cannot log into the Guest User account that migrated from the Power PC to the Mac Pro for the same reason. I have also tried to change the password for that Guest User account also but with no luck.
Another interesting thing has happened. I decided to give my Mac Pro admin user account a password by going to System Preferences>Accounts. But when I do a test to sign into my admin user account Mac Pro it tells me it is the wrong password. Luckily I can reboot the computer and it opens to my Mac Pro user without asking for a password. But if I log out of Mac Pro and try to then sign back in with the password it tells me it is the incorrect password.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

CUP 5.3 - Single Sign On fu00FCr end user request screen?

Is there any way to achieve Single Sign On in a windows environment using the corporate Active Directory for the END USER REQUEST SCREEN in CUP 5.3?
I am aware of the document "Single Sign-On with SAP BusinessObjects Access Control 5.3" by the SAP GRC RIG (Harleen Kaur) so I know how to achieve Single Sign On for the CUP application itself.
I am also aware of the option to deactivate "end user verification required" in the authentication source definition in CUP.
What our end users are asking for is true single sign on. They would like to enter a request WITHOUT providing network user ID and/or password manually.

We have not yet configured SSO but are in the phase of analyzing our options.
I understood that SSO is only possible for the server:port//AE/index_apr.jsp page in CUP.
What about the end user request screen (server:port/AE)? Will this work with Windows-SSO using SPNEGO? Would I set the authentication source to LDAP or to UME (UME has multiple LDAP as user data source)?

How to updated log into Concurrent Request

Hi All,
I am using FND_REQUEST.SUBMIT_REQUEST in Stored PL/SQL Procedure to fire Concurrent Request to Import records thru Interface.
The concurrent request is run successfully and import records also successfully.
Now incase, if any error occured, I want to update the log file at concurrent request level and can see the log using "View Log" in Concurrent Request Window.
Can anyone guide me how it is possible ?

We are using seeded concurrent program (WIP Mass Load) to import data .
To import data, we are using following command line in PL/SQL Stored procedure.

The data is imported successfully but we have found that the LOG file is updated with seeded codes and messages
( view LOG Navigation path : MENU > VIEW > REQUESTS > FIND REQUEST BUTTON > VIEW LOG )
but I want to update the LOG file with custom messages instead so that we can debug easily, incase of error occurred.
We have tried to update the LOG file with custom message using command : FND_FILE.PUT_LINE ( FND_FILE.LOG , < msg > ), but LOG file is not updated.
I hope you understand my problem. Can you guide me in the issue ?

CUP Auto Provisioning Error 260: User Comparison

I am in the process of configuring the CUP 5.3 module within our ECC and SRM environments. I believe the path and associated stages are established properly. I have tested the auto provisioning functionality within both SRM and ECC. As it relates to SRM, the auto provisioning functionality works without a hitch. However, when I attempt to auto provision a user into our ECC environment, I receive the following error:

Speaking with out security team, the only time they have seen this issue was when they attempted to map a user, using PFCG, to a role. However, I informed them that CUP uses SU01. They have not experienced such an issue using SU01 and clicking on the user comparison button.
Interesting point: The user record is created and roles assigned to user but have a red light indicator by the role within SU01. However, when the next day rolls around the role has been changed to a Green light, profile assigned and everything is looking good. Unfortunately, CUP can't seem to register this and when the Role Owner attempts to approve the role / user request again. The same error occurs and until I can get around this error, the workflow is not closed out nor is the requester notifiied.
Questions:
(1) How can I fix this issue, I assume it will require a security change to be made within the ECC environment?
(2) If this issue can't be fixed, can I get around this issue with a detour or other CUP error processing step?

Message: ORA-01013: user requested cancel of current operation

Hi,
I have been working an issue involving an application that is receiving "Message: ORA-01013: user requested cancel of current operation" errors. These errors are seen in the Application servers which are 6, w2k3 Standard sp2.
My problem is the users are not the ones requesting the cancel. I have worked with my application support dept and they have informed me the timeout settign is 2 seconds. As you can see in my list below these transactions are taking longer then 2 seconds. A good transaction should take less then 3ms.

We can't up the timeout setting in the application, We've already looked into it and theres to much red tape for us to cut in order to implement that setting.
Recently our DB's were upgraded from Oracle 11.2.0.2 to Oracle 11.2.0.3. The very next day is when we started receiving these alerts.
Any thoughts?

What's it doing during these bad transactions? Is there a difference between what those are doing and what the fast ones are doing?
Off the top of my head with so little information, the only thing I can come up with is that a lock is being held which is delaying some of the transactions from completing until after the timeout hits.

Error occuring when submitting Active Users request in R12 on Solaris 5.10

Hello,
we are having a probem with our Crystal Enterprise v. 10 environment, running on a Win2003 OS
When end-users Push a report to Crystal Enterprise, they sometimes get a message:
"Logon credentials for this request are missing"
In case end-users than manually logon, they can see the report, if they rerun the report again, it may show the report.
We tried to track the problem, using trace options and looking at the event viewer, but no results.
We do not have these problems on other environments, the only difference is, that this 'problem' environment, runs on a virtual server W2003.
We use CE version 10 with the latest SP (6).
Anyone has an idea?

Thank you for your quick response. We are on version 4.0 and these are Crystal reports.
I was provided with some additional information. It does not seem that the issue is impacting all of our users in China. The IT manager there is reporting that on his machine he is able to access the reports fine, however other users (all using Chinese Windows 7) are having the issue and he is having the issue when using their machines. As you mention and also based on our initial testing, it does not appear that this is an issue with the OS language, however this is why that was provided to me as a possibility.

Blue screen hangs logging in as main user (tried extensive troubleshooting)

My systems state has been progressively declining...
First symptoms: while using my external FW drive, under heavy read/write use the drive would unexpectedly unmount, giving the "unmount your drive before disconnecting it to avoid data loss" message.
I ran DiskWarrior on the external drive. It still would unmount. Somewhere online I read that zapping the PRAM may fix it. I did that. That's when things got bad.
My computer began beachballing all over the place, so I rebooted. Full disclosure: it's been running slow sometimes due to the SOHO Sync process (I am running the SOHO Notes 5.7.0 beta, and I haven't ruled out this software as the culprit). Upon reboot, it would hang on a blank blue (aqua) screen - after the gray screen but before the login window or anything.
I booted into single-user mode and ran fsck. It found nothing wrong.
Tried to boot into Safe mode extensively. Sometimes I could get to the login screen. Tried extensively logging in as my user, it would just hang on a blue screen. The secondary user works, although sometimes verrrry slow (beachballs).
I began following the instructions in this article. Many of the first solutions (#'s 1-3) involve Safe mode, but since my account couldn't get into Safe mode I began moving Preference files and such using single-user mode (#'s 4-6). On step 7, I got through items a-m, but the rest of it is contingent upon being able to log in, which I still was not.
Using the secondary login, I was able to open Console and glean some information from that. mdimportserver was crashing over and over again, sometimes causing crashdump to crash as well. I figured this explained the slow performance and intermittent beachballing while using the secondary user. lsregister was also crashing occasionaly. In system.log, I saw several I/O errors.
Finally I decided to run DiskWarrior from the CD. It found some errors (I can post the report later) and corrected them. I rebooted, still would blue screen on my login name.
I reset the PMU. After this the secondary user ran pretty much normally for a short time. I removed the couple third-party mdimport files (Spotlight plugins) I could using the list dump from running mdimportserver -L and renaming the third party ones. (I know SOHO Notes includes Spotlight support now, but I could not find their plugin for the life of me, I'm not sure how they have enabled Spotlight support).
Still getting I/O errors in system.log. The secondary user is not working very well anymore (slower w/ beachballs).
This whole time the SMART status of my boot drive has been "Verified"
So - is my drive dead?

Update:
Using the secondary user in Safe Mode has allowed functionality enough to reformat an external drive with Disk Utility (although the drive spun down and Disk Utility didn't do anything while still saying 7 minutes left on the zero-all operation).
I force quit Disk Utility and reboot into Safe Mode. Got the startup progress bar, then the blue screen, then the screen went to a black with white lettering saying:
<time & host name> getty: /dev/console: Operation not supported by device
Then it would go back to aqua blue for a few moments, then back to this.

I succesfully logged in to the Users Forum; but unable to post my statement. What shold I do?

I had password problems, which prevented me from logging in to the Users Forum. Now I got my password changed, which was accepted and logged into the Users Forum. But the Text Area therein does not accept any typed input. Finall I am forced to ask this supportive question. Please inform me as to how I can post my comments on the Users Forum, after logging in.
