CUP-Role Status regarding to the System

Hello,
I have been doing some test and I wonder how to distinguish when the role is ready at the diferent phisical system as Prod, Q, Dev.
When searching a role already imported from ERM, you can select three diferent role status ( only the third one is authomatic set from ERM after the import):
-Enable
-Disable
-Enable and provisioning
What does this role status mean? would it be useful for diferring from one phisical system to another?
Thanks in advance!
Margarita.

Hello Margarita,
Here is the explanation of the staus of role:
Enable u2013 roles you want to maintain but do not allow auto provisioning.
Enable and Provision u2013 roles you want to maintain and allow auto provisioning when selected by a user.
Disable u2013 roles that are disabled and are not displayed when the end user uses the Search feature to query for roles.
In normal circumstances, when you import roles from ERM to CUP you would only import those roles which have been generated into production and thus are ready for assigning to users. That is why roles imported from ERM have the status as Enable & Provision.

  • AC CUP: User created in CUA with system specified

    Hello,
I create a new account request to provision a user in the CUA and child systems.
The user is created in the CUA and the child system: OK.
In SU01 of the CUA the system is specified. The pb is that the user can login directly to the CUA (even if he has no role).
I think the system should not be specified for the CUA. Does anyone have a solution to avoid to specify the system for the CUA?
    Regards

    Hi Simon,
You can config the CUA to allow the creation of user in child client. But then if the user already exist in the CUA, the CUP request will create the user in the child but with a wrong password.

  • CUP Issue: Unable to see the expired roles

    Hi All,
I am experiencing a problem which is explained below:
A ticket was raised in CUP for deleting role(s) in backend system which are expired. When I accessed this ticket to do the needful, I am surprised to see that the Expired roles are not visible to me!
However, I checked with another user and that user can successfully view thos Expired roles for that user mentioned in the request.
Can anybody give me a tip of how to analyze and solve this?
NOTE: My user id in CUP is having all the authorizations of administrator.  I also have access to SU01 tcode in the backend system.
    Please help.
    Regards,
    Faisal

    Hi Diego,
    Thanks for your reply.
i copied user who can view the expired roles in cUP to a new user  via UME and checked. Still the same problem.  BAsically these user are maintened in LDAP and when I copy the correct existing user to a new user, automatically it is getting created in UME. I am quit suspicious about this.
As far error in AE_UME, yes I have uploaded the latest copy of this after SP upgrade. I have not seen any error while uploading it. If it has any errors, then the user who can view expired roles should also have the same problem.
    Please suggest.

  • ERM & CUP and Role Status attribute

    Hi,
Under a strategy where roles are imported into CUP from ERM, could anyone share the use / meaning / purpose for "Role Status" attribute in EMR?
    Thanks for all. Best regards,
        Imanol

    Varun,
We have been extensively checking the sync from ERM into CUP and I can tell you that roles into CUP can be imported eventhough they have Development status value in ERM.
Anyone has identified the same behaviour in CUP when sync roles from ERM?
    Thanks for all. Best regards,

  • The system process 'C:\Windows\system32\lsass.exe' terminated unexpectedly with status code 255

    Hello All
We have a server 2008 R2 HyperV server and during the last few months it started to reboot randomly.
Initially we thought its related to the issue fixed by the following hotfix so we applied it but even with the hotfix it still keeps rebooting.
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2732595
Unlike what's mentioned in the hotfix , the faulting module is not "ntdll.dll" but "msvcrt.dll".Also came up with the following indication the reboots could be related to KB2871997 but that update is not installed
    on this system.

  • Maintaining the systems status as release at the time of upload

    Dear all,
While uploading the master data for Business Entity and Buildings I want to make the system status as release. How do we achieve this?
Also at the time uploading the contracts   I want to make the system status of the contract as active. How can we do this at the time of upload.
    Expertu2019s  pointers are highly appreciated.
    Regards.
    Vara Prasad

    Hi Vara,
I guess you are using the API_RE_* function modules for uploading the data. You can use these
APIs also to set the system status. You have to set the parameter ID_TRANS and provide the activity that sets the status (example: for system status "released" the activity BFRE, for activation of contracts the activity is MCAK).
I hope this information is helpful for you.
    Regards, Franz

  • What is the system status for a transaction ?

    Hi All,
I want to know what is the exact meaning (usage) of system status ?
We can create a user status in status profile and attach it to transaction type, then why do we use system status ?
    Regards,
    Ashish

    Hi Ashish,
User status are defined by the customer to define their business scenarios. So based on the business they can create status like Document Open (E001), In Transit (E002) etc. As you are aware that Status triggers the business flow in the SAP System. So based on a particular status the subsequent action will be followed. But how will SAP System know when to trigger the Billing, delivery and all the subsequent documents based on Customer Status Messages? So, to overcome this problem there is the concept of System Status like open (I001) etc which will help the system to keep track of the necessary actions. You can associate a System Status to User Status and hence you can trigger the business flow based on the status.
Have a look at the following link for a detailed technical info. The Status table is TJ30 for User status.

    Hope this helps.

  • Changing the System status for previous transactions

    Hello,
Could some body help me with this ?
I have a User status profile with user status ABC which triggers system status Inprocess. This is applicable for all the new transactions for which we set the status ABC which works fine. But we have some previous transactions  ( Prior to this config ) with status ABC , but system status is not Inprocess.
How can we change the system statuses for all these transactions? do we have a report for this?
    Best Regards,

    Hi,
You can use 'STATUS_CHANGE_INTERN' FM to change the system status. Pass Object number and status ID as inputs to the Function Module.

  • Linking the system status to user status.

    Dear all,
In the customising we have the provision of creating user profile. My requirement is if the system status is having a certain value like ESTO - in the equipment master then this should automatically set the defined user staus and prevent user from modifing the record (equipment master) and when the system staus is changed as AVLB, then the user status should also change and permit user to modify the record.
    Experts help is expected.
Can anyone suggest any method of adopting the same - is there any settings for this.
    Regards,
    M.M

I was able to get the statuses in a table , and as theer are more than one entry fo each of teh WBS so I need to concatenate the systme statuses together and user statuses togerher and finally concatenate the user status and system staus togehter in one field .
SO like fo system status I ahve 3 entreis , I need to concatenate them into one . But somehow when I loop and try concatenating them only the last entry is registeredd and similary for the user status too . Is there a= way I can concatenate so all teh three entries show in like a string
Right now the system status are AVEC, CTRD, SYST in my internal table as three values , how do i concatenate them into one string?
    Thanks

  • When the system status says icloud is OK but it reports "encountered an error when connecting to the server", where do you report the problem, or how do you connect?

When the system status says icloud is OK but logon reports "encountered an error when connecting to the server", where do you report the problem, or how do you connect?

Yes i am hoping staff here will look into things, even if i can not get the speeds back what i previously had for near 6 months it would be nice to know why i can not and why the download has dropped by around 10Mb and why my upload is now inconsistant.
Ironically the post concerned got edited because i actually posted the full rather silly reply the Indian call centre made babbling on about down rates rather than the uprate i queried with them.
Bit of a shambles really no real way on BTs web site to contact anyone with regards to broadband issues.
The form which you kindly suggested and i appreciated your help ended up in the hands of someone who either did not bother to read the query or just had such a poor grasp of English they did not understand the query.
Pretty pathetic really when BT are the largest telco in the UK. I think ill be taking my broadband business elsewhere regardless at the end of my 18 month contract, while im sure staff here are wonderful and may even yet help me, i do not particularly want to go through the almost like pulling teeth pain of getting any future issue looked at.
They are great at quickly fixing voice line problems and have a great test on their site. Broadband side of things and support for that though seems a shambles.

  • Tables fields where the system status is getting stored

I need to find out the Quotes which have open and completed system status.
Once I find these orders I need the check the validity dates of the Quotes.
Can experts please let me know the tables where the system status and the validity dates are stored?

    Try TJ02
It contains the System status ISTAT.
    Kindly execute the report CRM_ORDER_READ.
This is a report for executing the FM CRM_ORDER_READ.
provide the transaction ID or guid as teh input.
Check the ET_STATUS and ET_APPOINTMENT tables which contain the details required.
In the table ET_STATUS search with the header GUID.
The values with I are the system status and the value with E is the user status.
Explore the result of this report to get more detail.

  • Roles for the System user

    Hi All,
Currently, I am working on AII 5.1 Slap and Ship Outbound scenario and got the document from the service marketplace under http://service.sap.com/rfid -> SAP AII 2007.
Under Activating HTTP Services(Page no: 9 - 9th step) section , we have to provide the System user. May I know what all roles we have to assign for that user?
    Regards
    Sara

    Hi Sara,
We need to use a System/Communications User in there. Though there is no clear thought on what authorizations are required for the same.
You can ask your basis guys to give a Systems user for restrictive access. This might be based on the policy of the basis team of what auths are generally given for a System user for a restricted use. You can use the same.
If this causes problems you can assign the user, the AIN related admin roles mentioned in the same document. This will work.
I have created a user called ALEREMOTE which is of the type Communications data with profile assigned SAP_ALL. This works for me perfectly.Though if you want you can give in a restricted access to as i have already mentioned.

  • 2 Status List (tcode SE41) mixed-up by the system

    Hi,
I created 2 status list  PF100 & PF200 for one program via tcode SE41, but I found that the system mixed the 2 status list together, I mean, If I create one icon in the application toolbar for status list PF200, the icon may occurs in PF100 but not in PF200, so what's the problem?
    Please kindly advise.
    Thanks and best regards.
