It just does;/ After anything particular. I installed new arch on other partition, the same packages versions... but in that system it is working well. What the * could be wrong? It drives me crazy

I have had the same problem after update few days ago and installing a2ps package fixed the problem (it should also pull psutils). Somehow filter for brother printer began to require it, although it was not touched for months. o_O

Restart the computer in safe mode. Certain caches maintained by the system will be rebuilt.
Safe mode is much slower to start up than normal. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
When the login screen appears, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and test. There's no need to log in while in safe mode.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t start in safe mode. In that case, ask for instructions.

Just installed the latest Canon printer software update (V 3.2) from the App store. Canon Pixma MX850 will not print. Dialog says job stopped at the server - no pages found. Utilities, print test page works. Printing via Airport.

Just installed the latest Canon printer software update (V 3.2) suggested by the App store in effort to get printer working after OS update. Canon Pixma MX850 will not print. Dialog says job stopped at the server - no pages found. Utilities, print test page works. Attempting to print via Airport from a MacBook Pro. Also from a Mac Pro via ethernet. Both worked before updating to Yosemite. Canon Pro 9000 Mk 2 works via USB. Tried installing driver 10.84 from OS 10.9 as suggested by PAHU; no luck.

The "stopped at server - no pages found" message would suggest an image with the print file that is created by the printer driver on the MacBook Pro. But if the Mac Pro is getting the same message then that is unusual.
To rule out a couple of causes I would try connecting the MacBook Pro directly to the MX850 by USB cable. This action should result in a new printer for the USB connection being created automatically. If not then you may need to manually create it as you won't be able to use the existing printer that exists for the network connection. With the new printer created see if this will let you print without error.
If this USB connected printer also fails with the same message then try a reset of the printing system. Note that this action will also remove the Pro 9000 from Printers & Scanners so you will have to add it and the MX850 again.

'No pages found' error

I've got troubles printing to my Epson Stylus Photo 2100, that's connected to USB port of my wireless router (ASUS WL-500W). In WinXP setup procedure is as simple as installing a network LPD/LPR printer: just specifying its IP.
But Mac fails to print. Right after sending a document to printer, Print Queue says 'No pages found' and nothing happens. Printer status don't switch to pause, job not held, but there's no any activity.
Same thing happens with Epson R390 shared on another windows network. All Macs fail to print to that printer, but with other HP and Xerox machines they work well.
Any ideas how to fix that or at least what could 'No pages found' mean?

I have been having the same problem except with a Canon printer. A week ago, I called Apple Support and they said that every other printer brand had worked with Apple to develop a driver for the Snow Leopard Operating System, except for Canon. So for a while I just had no connection. Just tonight though, I downloaded the new driver and it is now displaying the "Error: No Pages Found!" message whenever I print anything. I would suggest to the rest of you to make sure you updated the printer driver since you updated the OS to Snow Leopard. But does anyone know what "no pages found" means?

I have a Canon MX922 printer and every time I try to print something it says, "Error, no pages found." Any ideas on how to fix this?

Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see that you are having an issue when attempting to connect to a wireless network.
Have you changed the router for a new one?
Make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a power bar/strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer as an example but it is meant for HP products in general. Please click on the following link that explains the Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector.
Make sure that you are with in the 4'-20' range.
You can try the HP Print and Scan Doctor as well. Let me know if you see any error codes or messages.

Lightroom Printing Error "no pages found"

I have a Macbook running OS 10.5.5 and my printer is a Canon MP520.
Whenever I print from the print module in Lightroom, it seems to be sending the file to the printer but the print queue comes up and I get a message saying "no pages found"
any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?

Yes, I get a dialog box but none of the settings let you change any thing about colour management. When you choose "managed by printer" in LR, you get a warning that says "When selecting "managed by printer" remember to turn on the printer's colour management in the Print dialog before printing"
I can't find where to do that anywhere. Subsequently, if you try to select any of the profiles to manage the printing, you get the waring to turn off the colour management setting.
The PrintOne button doesn't seem to do anything for me either.

CUP Support page location

Hi All,
I am trying to set up the CUP HTML support page and would like to put some screenshots in there for the end users. After I uploaded the html page via its default import button I expected the page to be stored somewhere on the operating system, but I could not find it after searching for it on the full name that I gave it.
Therefore my question: after it is imported has it been renamed by CUP and stored somewhere on OS level? or has it been absorbed in the CUP database perhaps? If it is in the database then I fear getting the screenhots to show in the HTML will be a burden.
Anyone knows? Thx in advance.

I opened an oss note and got confirmed that it is absorbed in the database table, so according to your customer helpdesk colleagues. I indeed checked the db table and found it. It does not give an option to insert any references to pictures/screenshots.
There might be an escape to determine the runime directory the OS uses when publishing the html file, we could try to point the HTML references to that directory and place the pictures in there.

How to setup error message in JSP if no data or page found

I want to show users some error message after user clicks on a link and no page or data is found.
How do I show users to a valid error message if there is no data exists after they click on a link?

Add the following line at the top of your jsp

Then, write a error.jsp in whichever fashion u want.

5.3 CUP Approver not found error

Hi Experts
Having an issue on CUP. I have created a CAD for my first stage and second stage.
1st Stage (Business Process Owner) HR and linked to approver
2nd Stage (Role type) = Single and linked to approver.
The request is created but when I approve the request at the 1st stage it throws out the the Approver not found error. The role attributes have also been configured accordingly.
Any ideas Experts your help will be appreciated.

Thanks for the assistance, I've checked on the UME the approver does exist with the necessary authorizations. Maybe it issomething in the config please tell what you did maybe I missed something small in the config. I checked and the CAD in both stages are linked to approvers and they both exist in the ume. And the role itself has been linked with the attributes such as the business process and the role type being single.

Je voulais savoir maintenant si vous pouviez m'aider pour récupérer le numéro de la page qui est actuellement active ?
Vous pourrez retrouver dans l'exemple le pdf qui permet de faire les automations OLE, mais je n'ai pas réussi à comprendre la logique du bidule.
En gros il me faudrait récupérer un objet PDPage mais je ne sais pas du tout comment faire !

I like the Firefox start page but want to tweak it a bit. Where can I gain access to the file? I am using Firefox 29.0.1

In the omni.ja file in Firefox Program Files. Open '''about:home''' then right-click and select View Page Source. The path to the aboutHome.xhtml file is in the titlebar. <br />
The problem with editing that file is that every 6 weeks when Firefox is updated you'll probably have to edit that file all over again.

I finally get my printer working again, after a month.
I discovered, casually, that the udev rule contained there: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/CU … g_firmware now doesn't work anymore, because the path to rmmod is probably changed.
Now it must be something like:

I've install Oracle on Redhat Linux 4 every thing i seems it's working fine but when I'm trying to connect to oracle on my laptop I'm able to get to the login page to when i login it return with PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED I'm not sure if it's Oracle problem or Linux setup.

Did you set a domain name on the server? To verify, run the following command from the OS:

I think this is the same problem that others have but I have been unable to get a fix to work. Wish I hadn't upgraded from 28.0

hello Road_runner, unfortunately this is currently a bug in the integrated firefox pdf viewer that is investigated by our developers and getting addressed. in the meantime you could use a third-party pdf plugin like from adobe that you can enable in the firefox ''options > applications'' - scroll down and define the default action for the '''portable document format (pdf)'''.
