Currency Conversion in Update Rule greyed out

Hi All,
I searched this forum for what I thought something would have been reported on, but in the update rule for a key figure there is the option to input currency translation.
The problem is it's greyed out and I cannot input the translation. The screen looks just like the conversion entry you put in the query designer for the key figure.
Why is this field greyed out?

currency of the source and the target-keyfigure should differ.
create a new KYF as copy of 0AMOUNT with a differing Currency object or with fixed Currenca and call it AMOUNT in <CURRENCY>.

Flash Pro CS6 Update menu greyed out + AAM fail,supressed by the Admin - Win7-64

Hi,
I want to update Flash Pro Cs6 (PC Win7 64bit) to Update2.
However, the menu Help>Updates is greyed out.
The Update2 AMM patch installer says "updates could not be applied. Contact your system Admin. Updates have been suppressed by the Admin"
before starting.
This seems to point towards a privilege issue but, I have tried to :
run Flash as admin, run the updater as admin, install flash logged in as admin and updater logged in as admin,
without any luck....
This is the install log summary:

Manually update Creative Suite 6 products
Go to the Adobe.com Product updates site and choose the update you want to download.
When the download completes, start the update by double-clicking the Set-up.exe (Windows)
Prompted to shut down conflicting applications, do the following:
Windows
Right-click the taskbar and select Task Manager.
Select the Processes tab, select a conflicting process, and click End Process.
Repeat for any additional conflicting processes.
Check to see if the update downloaded successfully.

Conversion of Update rule to new Transformation

Hi All,
I'm using BI 7.0 SP9. I have a scenerio where in I need to load standard cube 0SD_C03 cube from the standard extractors like 2LIS_11_VAITM etc..
Based on the the thread below I have done the follwoing steps.
how to migrate old transfer rule/update rule to new transformation?
- Activated Business content cubes, update rules, infosources etc...
- Done all the required work in Source system.
- Later migrated data sources.
- Now the problem comes, Based on the above tread I have gone to the context menu and selected "Tranforamation erzeugen". It asks to create new Infosource created a new infosource and the the transformation came up. But I can see its not mapped to Source system datasource. I mean its not linked to the datasource in Source system. Its just created in BW and when i load nothing happen. I understand this is not correct process.
But when it pops up for Infosource If I select existing Infosource I dont see the old one's just because they were migrated already.
Now how do I link with the source system with out creating transformation manually. because there are lots of standard routines in update which cant be rewriten in new transformation manually.
Please let me know if there is a way to directly copy them and also correct me If i'm doing some thing wrong.

As Alex said delete the existing datasources and try to replicate it again as 3.x datasources. The process will work fine.
When you replicate datasources it will pop-up screen for you to replicate as 3.x datsources or as a new datasource.
Whenever you will plan to migrate from 3.x to new one, do migrate update rule, and transfer rules first. As when you migrate datasource, it deletes existing update rules/transfer rules also. For each update rule/ transfer rule it will create transformation for you after migration.
After migration your scema will look like:
datasource (new)-> transformation( replacement for transfer rule)->infosource(new)->transformation (replacement for update rules)->data target.
Anyways when you will createmodel from scratch in 2004s system, i hope you know infosource is now more mandatory in 2004s system.

Updates Option greyed out.

I have a new install of PSE 10 on a 64 bit, win7 laptop. All seems to working correctly with the exception of the Updates option under Help which is greyed out.

I don't as the updates are certainly back up and available again. It could possibly be a configuration with your software firewall but I would really recommend posting your inquiry to the Photoshop Elements forum. The Photoshop Elements forums are better able to answer product specific questions such as issues with an application update.

Currency transalation in update rules

I have activated some business content cubes and reports. The update rules to cube translated purchase order keyfigures to default currency EURO.
I want to change this to GBP( Which source currency). In other terms i don't want any currency translations while updating to cube. What config changes i need to make.Thanks

Currency translation in update rules

Hi,
I have two similar key figures KF1 and KF2 with different currencies. KF1(in ODS) had 0CURRENCY and KF2(in CUbe) has 0OBJ_CURR. I need to map KF1 to KF2. How do I do it update rules. I can hard code in the rules if necessary as there is only one currency in the whole organisation and is USD.
If there is a warning can I ignore and go ahead with mapping.
Let me know how to achieve this or if there would be any issues.

Got an Acer netbook which has linux operating system with Firefox 3.5 installed, the check for updates is greyed out, downloaded firefox 7 but will not install, we are constantly prompted by Firefox to update as 3.5 will no longer be supported

Many thanks for your reply, the machine was bought from Currys the 3.6 download warns you it will only be supported for a short time, and recommends downloading ver 7, I am unfamiliar with the workings of Linux but the machine has been good, there must be a solution, no problem if we have to pay for the upgrade. Can't update Adobe programs. Update option greyed out, DL'd update fails. Win7, PScs6, AIcs5, FLcs6?

None of my Adobe programs give me the option to update. The option is greyed out under the Help menu. It fails when trying to update through Bridge. When I download the update through a browser and try to update that way, I get the message:
I have admin priveleges and I'm running it as administrator. This is on Windows 7 Enterprise, 64 bit. Photoshop CS6, Flash CS6, Illustrator CS5.
Any help is appreciated.

It seems like you have created a Package using AAMEE. Could you please try creating an update package again using AAMEE for all the softwares and then try using them on the machine.

Inspector Document TOC Update now (Greyed out)

My pages document is currently 108 pages and growing.
It's in need of TOC but although all my instances of Heading 2 are highlighted when I use the styles disclosure triangle and select "Select all uses of Heading 2" in the Inspector TOC tab, after deselecting every other style apart from Heading 2, the "Update Now" button is greyed out.
Any ideas, anyone?

I think you were assuming I already had a TOC but my problem was with creating one.
It wasn't until I re-read the instructions that I noticed you must: Insert > TOC (I thought the 'Update' button would insert it).
I tried using Insert, and it came up with a message suggesting the Header 2 style was not used in the document, but when I tried again at the beginning of the document, it worked!
It doesn't matter to me where the TOC is, it's a video script and the TOC is simply for my own use.
Thanks for your help - not the actual answer, but it led me to it.

UoM Conversion in Update Rule -

Dear Experts,
We are trying to do UoM Conversion during data loading by writing a code in Update Rules that would do conversion based on conversion factors maintained in 0MAT_UNIT. We are following the "How-To" paper by SAP.
The SAP "How-To" paper does not refer to Table T006 for UoM Conversions. It checks for conversion factor only in 0MAT_UNIT master data. However when we define a new UoM Conversion type in T-code RSUOM, we can select an option by which system refers to Table T006 for conversion.
I am not sure if there would be consistency in conversions at the time of data loading and reporting. Because our update rules would not check Table T006 while reports might refer to T006 for UoM Conversion.
Can someone please fill up the gap?

Update Repository greyed out

Hi SDNers,
We are upgrading from SAP MDM 7.1 SP2 to SAP MDM 7.1 SP3 .
Followed the below stps:
1. I have placed the Respository archive of SP2 in the archive folder of SP3.
2. Create Repository from Archive -> Give all the details
The repository is getting created and in Unload status.
I know, we have to Update Repository after this.
But the Update Repository option is greyed out.
Any suggestions.

Hi Priti,
there's no upgrade of the repository required from 7.1 SP2 to 7.1 SP3. The database schema used for a repository did not change. If you have successfully unarchived you SP2 repository in an SP3 environment, your repository upgrade is basically done. You can use Console's verify function to check if there is everything OK with your repository.

"Update All" Greyed Out On App Store Updates Page

I have noticed that when I go to the App Store to update Apps, the "Update All" option is greyed out. There is more than one App to update in every case and I end up having to update each individually. However, when I update the first individual App (1st selected not necessarily 1st in list), the "Update All" option becomes available and functional.
This occurs on iPhone 5s running iOS 7.0.2 and NOT on my iPad 3 running iOS 7.0.2.
Anyone else notice this and/or have a solution?

Update button "greyed out" in NSU

Hopefully someone can help
When i try to update to the V20 firmware (using Euro1 code). NSU detects my phone, realises that my fw is V12, and that V20 is available.. However the update button is greyed out!

If so, they'll first need to be removed before you can Update.

How to do Currency conversion thru transformation rule BI 7.0

Hi all;
I am loading data from flat file to the cube. The flatfile contain Source currency (USD) and Incentive Amount base on Source currency.
In my cube I have an object call Source Incentive Amount and anohter object name Planning(Local) Incentive Amount.
How do I convert that Source Incentive Amount(USD) to Planning(Local) Incentive Amount (EUR) thru a transformation rule so I can map 1 Incentive Amount from the flat file to 2 Incentive objects in the cube.
Note: The planning(Local) currency is not on the flat file, I have to pull it from the cost_center object and I don't know how to pull that either.
Please help.

some more details:
two weeks ago i installed the fennec apk 28.0a1 and everything went fine, i started to love mobile firefox.
there were daily updates without problems except for yesterday. after the update, no connection to any website possible.
screenshot show firefox in german language but there is not much to see anyway :( i clicked on a bookmark but the address is not showing in the address bar. when i type in a URL manually and tip again on the address bar to edit the address the complete URL will disappear.
i have deinstalled fennec and reinstalled the 28.0a1 but same problem ...
i am using SONY stock android 4.1.2 on a XPERIA S
