Currency issue different between Print view and normal view in the PO

Dear SAP Guru and Expert,
Currently user is having one problem PO where in ME23N the amount of each line items are displaying correctly, which is shown below:-
Line item 1 USD 3,400.00
Line item 2 USD 10,000.00
Line item 3 USD 100.00
However, when click on the print view, all the amount run (Decimal point changed to comma) as shown below:-
Line item 1 USD 3.400,00
Line item 2 USD 10.000,00
Line item 3 USD 100,00
Kindly advise, what needs to be checked in order to get the PO amount printed correctly.
Thank you
Regards
Leonard Tan

Have done everything as told, and yet the problem still persists. Have try 3 computer with the user profile checked with the format 3,000.00 and yet the Print display of the PO still display 3.000,00.
Hi Leo,
Pls check the destination country of the vendor assigned in the vendor master (for example if its USA) then follow the path..
IMG>>SAP Netweaver>>General Settings>>Define Countries in mySap Systems and double click on the country desired and check the decimal pt format is correct.
As told, you must check with the SMARTFORM settings and Sapscripts for the PO layout done by your ABAPer who should be able to help you.

  • Is there a difference between ipad demo and normal ipad except the software?

Helli, i want to ask if someone know is there any significant difference between ipad demo version and normal ipad for selling ? Except the software difference and is true that ipad demo can be erased to a normal OS And worked normally after that? Thanks

As far as I know only Apple can potentially change the iOS on a demo model iPad to be the proper version, due to limitations within the demo version you probably won't be able to change/update it yourself.

Does update curreny cause the difference mentioned above?
    Thanks all in advance.

  • Different between initial replication and delta replication

    Hi,
What is different between initial replication and delta replication of the catalog to B2B?
    Denis Khveshchenik

Initial replication will replicate the full catalog
Delta replication - The replication will be based on teh change pointer that have been updated, so only the items that have been changed since the last initial replication will be replicated.  This should result in a quicker replication time.

  • Different between "iostat 5" and "zpool iostat 5"

    Hi,
if using ZFS, is it recommended to use zpool iostat over the normal iostat?
Basically what is the different between both?
In normal iostat, what is the most valuable info we need to look into to measure the performance? a_svc, b%, w%?
where in zpool iostat, what is the most valuable info we need to look into to measure the performance? and how to determine it is slow or fast? since, there are no a_svc, b%, w%??
in the following info in http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19253-01/819-5461/gammt/index.html?
    # zpool iostat
    capacity operations bandwidth
pool alloc free read write read write
    rpool 6.05G 61.9G 0 0 786 107
    tank 31.3G 36.7G 4 1 296K 86.1K
what does 786 and 107 for rpool refer to? kilobyte?bytes? bit?
    Thanks

if using ZFS, is it recommended to use zpool iostat over the normal iostat?I like both of them, but I'd recommend 'zpool iostat -v' because it will also give you per-device statistics through zpool.
Basically what is the different between both?iostat displays statistics for all devices, zpool iostat will only give statistics for devices in a zpool. When you have cache and log devices and mirrors and stuff configured, iostat may not be very easy to read. But iostat has information on service time that zpool iostat does not have
In normal iostat, what is the most valuable info we need to look into to measure the performance? a_svc, b%, w%?I usually look at number of operations (read and write), service time (svc_t) and sometimes the throughbut (kread, kwrite). I don't trust %b or %w because I nerver really understood how they are calculated, I also suspect they may be calculated differently on different platforms (linux and solaris) and I have seen cases where they have just been wrong. So I go by rules of thumb for operations and service times:
A single disk should be able to provide ~100 random read operations per second. Maybe 150, maybe 75 but definitely somewhere in that region. If the reported number gets close to that (or bigger), I start to get worried.
The service time of a random read request should be about 4-6ms. Maybe 7 or 8. But if the service time is reported in double-digits, I start to get worried.
Everything else will depend on your application and your threshold for nervousness. Some of my customers feel ok until %b reaches 80%, some may think that service times of 12ms are ok. The best way is to compare these numbers to baselines from when the system is performing OK.
where in zpool iostat, what is the most valuable info we need to look into to measure the performance? and how to determine it is slow or fast? since, there are no a_svc, b%, w%??again, reads and writes is usually what I look for.
in the following info in http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19253-01/819-5461/gammt/index.html?
    # zpool iostat
    capacity operations bandwidth
pool alloc free read write read write
    rpool 6.05G 61.9G 0 0 786 107
    tank 31.3G 36.7G 4 1 296K 86.1K
what does 786 and 107 for rpool refer to? kilobyte?bytes? bit?bandwidth is reported in bytes. In this case, zpool iostat was called without a repeat-interval so only the average since system boot is reported. So in this case 786 bytes have been read per second on average since system start. Quite a useless number.

  • Different between ALE, IDOC and BAPI?

    Hi Folks,
What is the different between ALE, IDOC and BAPI? and send me the following steps?
    Thanks in advance.
    Siva

    Hi,
    please read the below lines.
    ALE
ALE is SAP proprietary technology that enables data communications between two or more SAP R/3 systems and/or R/3 and external systems. When a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution such as R/3 is implemented, companies have to interface the ERP system with legacy systems or other ERP systems.
ALE provides intelligent mechanisms where by clients can achieve integration as well as distribution of applications and data.
ALE technology facilitates rapid application prototyping and application interface development, thus reducing implementation time.
The ALE components are inherently integrated with SAP applications and are robust, leading to a highly reliable system.
ALE comes with application distribution/integration scenarios as well as a set of tools, programs, data definitions, and methodologies that you can easily configure to get an interface up and running.
    BAPI
BAPIs provide a stable, standardized method for third-party applications and components to integrate into the Business Framework. These interfaces are being specified as part of SAP's initiative with customers, partners and leading standards organizations. Also, SAP has implemented the emerging Object Application Group (OAG) specifications with BAPIs.
Pros and Cons for both BAPI and Call Transaction
    BAPI
One of the big plusses for BAPIs is that the interface and function are not supposed to change.  This is a big plus when you do upgrades or hot packs because the transaction can change (format, required inputs etc) which means you then need to update the call transaction.
Some of the BAPIs are better documented and easier to use than others.
You usually need to perform the BAPI that actually does the COMMIT after you call your BAPI.
The Program coding for calling a BAPI is usually cleaner than setting up the screen flow etc for the Call Transaction.
You don't need to worry about special data circumstances interrupting the normal data flow of the screens and causing errors because of that.
BAPIs probably have better performance since they don't do the screen flow processing.
In general if the BAPI exists for the transaction you want to perform and you can figure out how to use it the BAPI is probably the best way to go.
This is just from my experience working with both BAPI and Call Transaction.  I have had some very good successes with BAPIs, but very occasionally found that I could not get the BAPI to perform the update I needed.

    Anki Reddy.

  • Different between database lock and sap lock

    Hi All,
What is different between database lock and sap lock why sap introduced locking mechanism.
    Thanks
    Santosh

From a database perspective, every dialog step forms a physical and logical unit:
the database transaction.. The database lock administration can only coordinate
this type of database transaction. From an SAP point of view, however, this is
not sufficient, because SAP transactions, which are formed from a sequence of
logically related work steps that are consistent in business terms, are generally
made up of several dialog steps. SAP systems need to have their own lock
management. This is implemented using the enqueue work process. This also
ensures that the platform-independence of the lock management is maintained.

Message Edited by geronimo on 24-Mar-2008 06:29 AM

Thanks YuliaKlimov, I can reproduce this issue, but I cannot explain the different behaviors between SSAS 2008 and 2008R2. As a workaround,
could you try to use dynamic set or create statics set but with fixed member for example:
    CREATE
    SET CURRENTCUBE.[Prior Month] AS
    [Date].[Date Key].&[20050723].PrevMember
    , DISPLAY_FOLDER = 'Relative Period Sets';
Personally, I think your set is dynamic set, because the currentmember is changed base on current selection. You can also submit this issue
on below official link to get confirmation from Product Group:

What is the main difference between  Interface node and normal node?
    Cheers
    Aisurya.

    Hi surya,
Interface node or methods comes into picture whenever you want to use one component as used component. I mean to say
Component usages. If you select node as interface node, it will available in another component so you can use that node or methods.
Normal node means in that component only. Simply we can say for component usages we go for interface nodes.

  • What is the difference between document class and normal class

    Hi,
Please let me know what is the difference between document class and normal class.
And I have no idea which class should call as document class or call as an object.
    Thanks
    -Actionscript Developer

the document class is invoked immediately when your swf opens.  the document class must subclass the sprite or movieclip class.
all other classes are invoked explicitly with code and need not subclass any other class.
