Currency setup process in SPL ledger configuration
Hi All,
I have a urgent requirement for configuring Special Purpose Ledger and need clarification on some of the following doubts before start configuring.
1. Can we configure SPL in the system upgraded only technical with ECC 6.0 version.
2. How to assign a seperate Curreny in the new SPL ledger and what is the procedure for assigning and translating the document currency of the company code assigned to this SPL Ledger currency.

The names mentioned to the left of the '=' sign represents the Dimension name as per my application right? and the names to the right of '=' sign represents the dimension members which have data loaded in the application for which we need to perform currency conversions ? Am i right ?
And just this piece of code can be pasted in the "Defaultlogic" file right?

I am installing SQL Server 2012 Developer (from ISO image written on DVD), my machine has Windows 7 (Edit: Windows 7 with service pack 1) on it. This machine already has SQL Express and SQL 2008 R2 Express installed in it.

The Material Ledger(ML) is a tool within the CO Module that collects all transactional data for materials whose master data is stored in the material master. It acts as a subledger for selected materials that captures all goods movements, invoice values, transfers and price changes. On the basis of this data, the material ledger calculates and maintains the actual cost for these materials. This actual cost can then be utilized to valuate the material stock accounts.
Functions of Material Ledger:
- Cost accounting using actual prices.
- Storing values of stock in three different valuations (legal valuation, group valuation for reporting purposes, and profit center valuation) in multiple currencies.

With WPA2 Personal security enabled, which is the strongest encryption you can use for home use, you are in good shape there.
DHCP is the process of assigning IP addresses to devices on the local network and your Time Capsule is doing this as you have it configured.
The NAT firewall built into the Time Capsule will do an excellent job of shielding your private network from the Internet, so you are in good shape there as well. -

I am attempting to install the Sun One Directory Server 5.1 on my Windows 2000 machine. At the conclusion of the installation process, I recieve these back to back pop up windows:

We are currently implementing the InterCompany v2 addon for our head office and one of our branches. One of the prerequisites, and the last one we need to achieve in order to have the whole thing running according to our specifications, is to have an identical setup between the Head office and the branch in term of Currency Setup. Our Head Office and Branch are located in two different countries and are running two different currencies.
Today, we have a different setup between the two and we need to make it identical. Our problem is that even after having asked the accountants, internal and external, no one knows what the impact is of such or such changes.

All the other currencies are absolutely identical between the 2 databases. Only the CHF has got differences.
Could anyone tell me what impact there would be in changing one of the setups, and in which direction we can change the setup as I know that some changes are not reversible.

I inferred following from your query, correct me if I'm mistaken:
You are configuring Intercompany Integration solution for one HO and one Branch company environment. You have deployed the solution and completed key mapping function.You have completed other intercompany setup related steps and you want to create Branch corresponding business partners.
Login any of the Intercompany participating companies and follow the steps below:
1. Create a HO representing customer i.e. while adding customer record ,choose HO in Branch Partner Code field.
2. Create a HO representing vendor i.e. while adding vendor record ,choose HO in Branch Partner Code field.
3. Create a Branch representing customer i.e. while adding customer record ,choose Branch in Branch Partner Code field.
4. Create a Branch representing vendor i.e. while adding vendor record ,choose Branch in Branch Partner Code field.
Now, log in the other intercompany participating company and check if all these branch representing business partners have got replicated correctly (you needn't to create any new branch representing BP furtheron).
Please be very cautious and refer to Intercompany solution guides before adding any company representing Branch partner.Once created, company representing definitions cann't be modified.

The Material Ledger(ML) is a tool within the CO Module that collects all transactional data for materials whose master data is stored in the material master. It acts as a subledger for selected materials that captures all goods movements, invoice values, transfers and price changes. On the basis of this data, the material ledger calculates and maintains the actual cost for these materials. This actual cost can then be utilized to valuate the material stock accounts.
Functions of Material Ledger:
- Cost accounting using actual prices.
- Storing values of stock in three different valuations (legal valuation, group valuation for reporting purposes, and profit center valuation) in multiple currencies.

My built in FaceTime app on my iPod touch will not proceed from the email verification step of the setup process. I have tried going into settings like app support showed but when I click FaceTime it just shows the sign in screen just like before and does the same thing. Please help me to fix this.

Hi All,
I am having a hard time finding any info on this activation error, and I really can't get to the bottom of it. When I enter my companie's activation code for the BES 10 network, it gives me the following message:
" Device activation can't be completed because the setup process or a training tutorial is running on your device. Try again later."
It would be nice if the msg could be a little more specific! But anyway, I have tried all the traditional fixes, battery pulls, re&re to BES, etc. but still nothing. My last option is to wipe and see if that works but curious to see if anyone has run into this before.
PS I have a Z10 STL100-3

All of a sudden Safari on my MacBook Air won't let me do anything. I have a Mac OS X Version 10.7.5.
As soon as I open Safari, a message comes up straight away saying 'Appliance Error (configuration error) Your request could not be processed because of a configuration error: account is disabled'.
I also can't check for system updates because of a 'network error' and can't connect to the App Store.
My internet is working fine and safari is working fine on both my iPhone and iPad.
I've never seen this message before and I'm not having much luck in searching for an answer.

First time to setup B1. Customer needs Local Currency is HKD, PO use China Yuan and System Currency is USD.
1. In Company Detail, Local-HK, System-USA, Default Account Currency should use All or Local?
2. GL COA each account need set Currency to HKD and Balance to HKD or ..? Few GL account like checking in HK will be HKD, checking in USA will be USD. How about all others GL accounts in G&A or sales and cost accounts?
3. Admin, Setup, Financials, Currencies has HKD, USD, RMB...10 codes setup already.
4. I could not locate HKD in Admin. Exchange Rates and Indexes. Only saw RMD, USD, CAD, EUR, GBP, JPY, AUD,SGD. I entered RMD 6.8447 with USD 1.00 for 12/21/08 exchange rate but did not work in JE to convert correct amount, I used FC for RMD (need HKD most). I need convert either RMD to HKD or HKD to USA or RMD to USD. HKD can not work since I could not setup in Exchange Rates.
5. How to setup correctly when you enter the data in HKD(LC) or USD (SC) or RMD (Foreign) will convert to another currency at once?

A. If I set USD $1 to convert RMD $6.8447 in FX rate. Do I need setup anything else to populate the FC,LC and SC amounts in PO, AR invoice or JE (only will show Local and System Currency, not for All Currency GL accounts as I know)?
B. B1 uses the LC then where I can setup LC to SC daily rate? like USD $1 = HKD$7.7509
C. In JE data entry has one option for Fix Rate, how to make this work? If I want to set US $1 = RMD $6.8447.
D. New to this forum, how can I give the points to you? I appreciate for your quick replies.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

Why is the iTunes Match setup process causing iTunes (and my machine) to freeze?
I purchased iTunes Match several days ago, and it continues to freeze iTunes, subsequently locking up my machine. It keeps getting stuck on step 1 of the setup process (analyzing my library); I have left it overnight several times with no luck.
At this point, I really just want my $25 back, but has anyone else encountered this problem? Is there a workaround?it's been confirmed elsewhere that: once again, itunes IS in fact the problem.

I am trying to create a web application that uses AD LDS as its authentication provider. I have followed all the steps and verified all the web.config files, but I receive the error below:
Cannot get Membership Provider with name CustomRoleProvider. The membership provider for this process was not properly configured. You must configure the membership provider in the .config file for every SharePoint process.
Has anyone come across this error before?There seems to be some issues in your web.config files. Please make sure your Web application entries for membership and role provider(at central admin site) are matching with Web.config entries. your error

", indicating that you may have used role provider name in Membership provider text box or in web.config.
Also please make sure that you have correct entries in all 3 web.config files - Central Administration , Security Token Service (STS), Web application .
