Current condition is different than group conditon, tax not calculating

Hi,
I am working on a sales order for which tax is not getting calculated. For tax calculation puprose,a third party tool, vertex is being used. When i debug,i found that the RFC function module(which calculates the tax ) is not getting called. The code is written in such a way that the RFC will be called only if if the current condition type is also the group condition type for which all the items are currently being processed, but this condition is not satisfying. Can any one please tell me about the possible causes for this condition failure. I need the sollution badly.
Thanks & Regards,
Narendra Kumar

Hi,
As suggested by YADAV, use TCODE V/06 and click detail button and goto second window where u will find GROUP CONDITION do check it .

  • Tax not calculating in MIRO within a date range.

    Hi Experts ,
We have created a tax code and assign its values in condition types under two separate Key Combination.
    1) Tax Classification : 4% ( Non Validity) , in access sequence exclusive indicator is set aganst it.
    2)  Tax Code : 4% (Valdity - Sept - till 9999), Exclusive indicator is not set against it.
Issue is that when i create a PO ( at any date) system is picking up the taxes.
Nom at the time of MIRO , if i post the MIRO before sept. system is allowing me to do so and calculate taxes correctly.
But when i change the date to Sept the system does not calculate taxes.
Even though the Tax Classification has more priority in access sequence compared to tax code , i am failed to understand why system is not calculating taxes.
I have tried deleting conditions in tax code key combinations but still system is not calculating taxes in MIRO,
    Pls guide.
    Regards
    Honey

    Hi Ramesh ,
i have done the same . Maintained he condition record via FV11. but system is not calculating tax for sept. month in MIRO.
In PO tax calculation is perfect but in MIRO it is not calculating tax.( ticked calculate tax option also).

  • Config of Group assets - Tax Depreciation Calculation : India

    Dear Seniors,
can you please explain the configuration of the Group assets and how exactly the tax depreciation calculation in India happens for the individual assets with scheme of entries.
    Thanks and Regards
    Sathish

    Hi,
In India, depreciation on assets for the purpose of computation of net income as per the Income Tax (IT) Act 1961 is calculated over a block of assets instead of individual assets as allowed under the Companies Act 1956. Asset acquisitions and retirements are managed over the block level. The IT Act prescribes certain rates of depreciation to be used under the Written down Value (WDV) method over these asset blocks to compute depreciation.
The following are the customization settings that may be followed in the R/3 system in order to manage your assets in the income tax depreciation area.
    1. Copy the standard chart of depreciation 0IN as provided by SAP and create your own chart of depreciation.
    2. Use the depreciation area 15 for the purpose of management of assets under the IT Act. Make it statistical in nature. (Reference Transaction Code: OADB). Do not check the box negative net book value.
    3. Specify that the Income Tax depreciation area takes over the APC from the book but not make it identical (Reference Transaction Code: OABC).
    4. Create an asset class for the purpose of income tax blocks. This asset class will be used to create only group assets. (Reference Transaction Code:  OAOA)
    5. Specify that the depreciation area for income tax can be managed only for group assets. (Reference Transaction Code: OAYM). This would mean that depreciation for this depreciation area would be computed only at group asset level.
    6. Specify that the asset class defined in (b) above will be used for creating group assets only. (Reference Transaction Code: OAAX)
    7. Two period control methods (IT and NL) have been defined in the system for determination of start or the end of depreciation calculation at the time of a fixed asset acquisition or retirement. You may use these period control methods while creating the depreciation keys for the purpose of IT depreciation.
Calendar assignments have been made for the above mentioned period control methods in order to reflect valuation requirements as per the Income Tax Act (Transaction Code: OAVH). You may create your own period control methods depending on the fiscal year variant you use. The period control methods supplied are based on the fiscal year variant V3.
    8. Depreciation Keys: The following depreciation keys have been created in the system. They correspond to the income tax blocks that are prescribed under Indian tax laws. They are as below:
    Depreciation Keys:
    1. IN1 - Tax Depreciation - 5% -
I Hope it will give you some basic guidance.

  • Tax not calculating for loss of pay on the reduced basic pay

    Hi Experts,
We have an employee who has LOP for five days and hence the basic pay is reduced. However for tax calculation the system is not considering the reduced basic pay, it is considering the actual basic pay.
    Eg
Employee X has 5 day Loss Of Pay for the month of May.
His actual Basic Pay is Rs 10,000
His Basic pay after considering the 5 day loss of pay is Rs 8,000 for the month May
For this particulat month system is calculating tax on actual Basic Pay i.e Rs 10,000. However we want the tax to be calculated on the reduced basic pay.
Please provide with your valuable inputs.
    Thanks in Advance

    Hi,
Tax is not calculated on the month salary. It is the annual salary on which tax is computed and deducted.
Annual salary gets stored in WT /410 (Regular Income) WT /411 (Irregular Income) and /413 (Perks).
Annual Regular income is computed as under:
Annual Reg Income = Regular Income Paid till last month + Regular Income for current month + Projected Regular income for balance months in the FY.
Check the values of these WTs in your case. These must be different in May from the values in April.

  • Income Tax not Calculated for one employee.

    Hi experts,
we have updated our patch lvl upto 86. Budget Changes Note is applied already. Now the Problem is with one employee.
Out of 1000 employees for one employee /436, /446 and /450 generated correctly with correct figure. But /460 is not generated.
I can see in the log /451 is generated with the amount exactly as /450.
Why system is not generating /460?
    Can anyone guide me?
    Regards
    Nasim

Well the reaults are surprising as cross financial arrear /616 is only 1385.96 and relief generated by this is 18776. Which is simply not possible. Even in FY 2010-2011 relief should not be generated as relief only comes when employee is end up paying more taxes than last year tax on arrears. Now since tax slabs are increased, relief will not be egenrated.
This issue you can check with OSS message.
IF you want to deactivate the Section 89 relief implementation switch S89SW constant as 0 in table V_T511K. It may also activated on employee level, then you need to check IT0588/ subtype 4. Before deactivating it check out the impact after deactivation in case of retro as i may increase/ decrease the past tax.
Please note that implementation level switch supposed to be activated/ deactivated only once in lifetime of SAP system.

  • Tax not calculating in PO

    HI MM Gurus,
I have maintained the necessary condition type in ZTAXIN (Copy of TAXINN) Procedure for Surcharge which is calculating on VAT 12.5% for Haryana State. System is not calculating for this condition type but system is calculating Taxes for other condition types.
I have checked in FV12 also, records are exists. I have also checked in Tax condition type it is also showing the records for access.
When i am checking analysis for Tax Procedure for Surcharge condition it is showing error as - "Condition record exists (Manually removed)".
Kindly help me to resolve this issue.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Neeraj Saini

    Hi, Neeraj
The purchase order you are talking of, was it created before this changes were carried out? If so, this changes will not get effected. in this case create a New purchase order.
Even after this if the error exists then check the following:
    1. The condition type should be a copy of VAT condition type.
    2. The condition type should of category "Tax".
    3. Check there is no conflict of condition records, try to maintain condition Record using the same acces as that of VAT.
    4. Use the same Tax Code as that of VAT condition type.
Hope this will correct your problem.

  • F110-Withholding Tax Not Calculating

    Dear Gurus,
For ceratin vendors in F110 system is not paying and in payment run log a msg is generated as--Internal Error:Doc Balance not zero.In one vendor there are 2 open items system is calculating WHT for one invoice correctly and showing in payment log for ther other other than posting its its showing at as a difference and sysing that doc balance is not zero.
But when I simulated the 2 invoices separately in F-53 correct WHt is shown but unable to understand why Payment Prog is not calculating for one of the documents.
My client is based out of Thailand both docs have same WHT code and and WHT Type that is at payment. Please help.
    Regards
    Prabin

You are saying that the invoice which are created with tax codes creates problem when it is paid through F110 that too for certain vendors, right ?  Still I am asking, at the time of invoice booking (F-43), the document will have line items with payable amount, tax deductions, etc. right ?  This payable amount only will be selected in F110 run.  Why then you want to calculate TDS again in F110 ?  With regard to your query that it is happening for certain vendors, please check the proper tax codes have been incorporated in the masters and the liable bock check is ticked.

  • Extended Withholding Tax not calculating

    Hi
We are in ECC 6.  In development system, we configured Extended Withhoding Tax for India and tested Vendor Invoice FB60.  It works perfectly without any problem.  It post separate line item for withholding tax as well.
We moved the configuration to Test system, where it is not working at all.  All settings are as similar as development system.  Vendor master record also similar as development.  The document entered for testing is same as development.
Why it is not calculating Withholding tax in Test system?  Is it any thing is to be done manually (like activation), table update.. in client independently?
    You suggestion is most impartant.
    Thanks
    Venkat

    Dear Venkatasubramanya,
Check the following Master data in your Test System......
    1. Vendor Master Data: Check in Withholding tax tab, whether liable tick is activated or not for your Tax Codes
    2. Whether your Withholding tax types are oayment type or invoice type
check in GL Master (Vendor Reco Account), Field Status Group, Whether Withholding tax fields are optional or not.

  • Tax not Calculated on Activity created through Service master

    Hi;
For different TAX values on Multiple line items in P.O, i am using Service Master to Create an Activity, and call that activity in my Service entry sheet.
Now When Service entry sheet (P.R) is adopted in P.O it doesn't calculate tax.
Any valuable information on this would be highly appreciated.
    Regards.

    Hi,
In the purchase order the taxes are calcuated at item level. In the
service entry sheet the taxes are calculated at service level.
The non-deductible input taxes both in the purchase order and on the
service entry sheet serve for the commitments structure and for
    information.
The tax actually paid with the invoice is later more precisely
redetermined by the invoice verification in the system.
You can set the Customizing alternatively that the
taxes are calculated at service level instead of at item level. This
setting is particularly useful if different services of an item are to
be taxed differently as it is the rule in countries with
jurisdiction-dependent taxes.  Please check your settings in transaction ML100.
In this connection, refer to Notes 498878, 495316 and 371595.

  • Tax not calculated in MIRO for the condition type JVCD

    Hi,
We made some new different tax code and attached with JVCD , its calculating in PO but in MIRO calculation part not done but for other condition type ,JVRD,JVRN system calculating well...
Please tell me some way why not system calculating in case of JVCD and JVCN for capital case..
    Thanks in Advance,
    Dharmveer

    Hi,
We totally agreed with you and already we checked our configuration part is OK.Actually we want to map some process where we captured excise in GR but no need to take credit i.e. to post the excise in J1IEX,so we do not have to post our cenvat/modvat entry in MIRO but we need to calculate VAT whether it is deductible or non deductible. So far this thing is concerned,we made separate tax code which we use at time of MIRO posting and in configuration we did not attached the tax code in logitics-basic excise -assign to company code. Because once we attached here , system asking to make to pass furst RG part2 entry then it allows to post MIRO entry which we do not want .So please understand this scenario is different and we got the success for JVRN/JVRD for VAT but getting issue in case of capital VAT where system does not calculate tax for JVCN/JVCD .....where we want to process MIRO without posting J1IEX..
Please thing and analyse ..give some helping response..
    Thanks,

  • Taxes not calculation in PO

    Hi,
    We have scenario like this
    Currently we are using 4 tax codes with different combination like V1- Excise + L-VAT 4%, V2- Nil Excise+4% L-VAT, V3 u2013 Excise + C-VAT 12.5% & V4 u2013 Nil Excise+ C-VAT 12.5% Here 4% VAT is local VAT within state & C u2013VAT other state.
We are using TAXINN procedure I know in this procedure values are not depending on tax code what we maintain in PO. But it will fetch taxes from condition what we maintain in FV11.My actual issue  popping here is when we had created another tax code and maintaining the condition in FV11 with key combination of Material/Plant/Vendor it is not populating in PO when if click tax tab, but when if I change tax code it is showing value with this calculation it is ok and entire cycle is completed successfully but my concern here, it is triggering same GL but we want it to hit different GL as per configuration in OB40 with relevant  account key and combination of tax code and GL  which is the reason we had created separate tax code. What would be reason?
    Regards

    HI,
Check whether you have maintained the rates for the new tax code in FV11 also whether you have assigned the tax code to the company code ?
Compare the tax code which is working in PO with the one which is not & find out if there is any difference.
If you want to post the tax values to the new G/L in OB40 then maintain the same settings for the tax code which is working in PO.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Withholding Taxes not calculating

    Hi All,
Currently we are using ECC 6.0.
While creating Vendor we are assigning With Holding Tax codes and I created a BP with this Vendor.
Now I created a Lease-In Contract for this BP, but system asking tax types and tax group is mandetory under Posting Parameters tab, but those tax types are belongs to Sales and Purchase tax codes.
So I am unable to do with holding tax calculations and I tried Field status for for Tax types and tax group I did't find.
Please advice me how I can achive this and is there any configuration settings to do with holding tax.
    Regards,
    CM.

    Hi,
While assigning withholding tax code in vendor master for payment postings we should only update the withholding tax type. We must not update the withholding tax code. The reason being system always automatically calculate taxes even in the case of final payment.
You can use report RFWT0010 to adjust the withholding tax information to the relevant withholding tax types. Hope this helps.
    Thanks
    Neel
