Current firmware for HWIC 3G-GSM

Hi all
I am trying tu update the firnmware of a HWIC 3G-GSM within an 1841.
What is the correct firmware?
I have tried
K2_0_7_35 and K1_0_2_18 from
http://tools.cisco.com/support/downloads/go/Model.x?mdfid=281295483&mdfLevel=Sub-Category&treeName=Wireless&modelName=Cisco%203G%20Wireless%20WAN%20%28GPRS%2FEDGE%2FUMTS%2FHSDPA%29%20High-Speed%20Wan%20Interface%20Card&treeMdfId=278875243
and I have also tried
F1_2_3_22 from
http://tools.cisco.com/support/downloads/go/Model.x?mdfid=282745088&mdfLevel=Sub-Category&treeName=Wireless&modelName=Cisco%203G%20Wireless%20WAN%20%28GPRS%2FEDGE%2FUMTS%2FHSDPA%2FHSUPA%29%20Interface%20Card&treeMdfId=278875243
But whenever I issue
microcode reload cellular 0 1 gsm modem-provision
I get
Modem returned following error to Download Start Request:Wrong image for this product
So what might be wrong here?
Thanks for any hint,
Grischa

Hi Grischa,
Did you extract the firmware before the upgrade?  archive tar /xtract source-url destination-url
Can you post the log of the whole process?
Do you have the same results with a H firmware, for example H1_1_9_33 ?
Cheers

What is the current firmware for iphone 3g?

Dear Genes....    wjosten   /   Templeton Peck,
My iPhone 3G is on iOS 4.0.(8A293) and with Firmware  05.13.04. Since few days when I shifted  to New operator VODAFONE, I am troubling with "NO SERVICE" most of the time, but when I checked my SIM in another Mobile, it is working fine. So please tell me which iOS do i need to switch to and what will be my Firmware. As I own iPhone 3G, moving to iOS 4.2.1 is very slow.
Please do suggest. Itz a lil Urgent.
Looking Ahead to hear from you.
    Thanks in Advance....

  • Current Firmware for DVR-110D?

I just got a DVR 110-D and installed on my G4 running 10.3.9. Seems to be working fine using Patchburn and Toast 7.01. Another post suggested to get the latest revision of firmware installed for the drive. I tried the Pioneer site and they only support updates in windows formats. My drive is listed as rev. 1.11/MMC. Is this the latest rev? If not, do I have to yank the drive and put it into a windows machine to flash it? I am on a network with a windows machine. I could download the patch on there and hope to see the drive across the network for the update if it's even required.
    Thanks,
    Bruce

I found that the current version of firmware for the 110D is 1.39. I ended up flashing the unit in a windows machine and reinstalling into the mac. Ran Patchburn and the drive runs perfectly on all apple software as well as Toast.
    Done deal!
    Thanks for the help.

  • What is the current Firmware Verison that I should be using for my WRT110.....?

I am currently using 1.0.02....Is rhus the correct one....? If not, where do I get the new one....??

The Current Firmware version for your Router WRT110 is Ver.1.0.05 (Build 03)... Click on Download this firmware for your Router..
Follow these steps to upgrade the firmware on the device : -
Open an Internet Explorer browser page on a computer hard wired to the router...
In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1...Leave the Username blank & in Password use admin in lower case...
Click on the 'Administration' tab- Then click on the 'Firmware Upgrade' sub tab- Here click on 'Browse' and browse the .bin firmware file and click on "Upgrade"...
Wait for few seconds until it shows that "Upgrade is successful"  After the firmware upgrade, click on "Reboot" and you will be returned back to the same page OR it will say "Page cannot be displayed".
    Now reset your router :
Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 30 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your router...

  • Losing GPRS connection on HWIC-3G-GSM

    Hi,
I have configured Cisco 2801 with HWIC-3G-GSM to work as a GPRS router.
    The configuration is:
    chat-script gsm "" "atdt*99***1#" TIMEOUT 60 "CONNECT"
    chat-script pin "" "at+cpin=xxxx"
    interface Cellular0/1/0
      ip address negotiated
      ip virtual-reassembly
      encapsulation ppp
      dialer in-band
      dialer pool-member 1
      dialer-group 1
      async mode interactive
      ppp chap hostname ""
      ppp chap password 0 ""
    interface Dialer1
      ip address negotiated
      encapsulation ppp
      dialer pool 1
      dialer idle-timeout 0
      dialer string gsm
      dialer persistent delay initial 20
      dialer-group 1
    access-list 1 permit any
    dialer-list 1 protocol ip list 1
    line 0/1/0
      script startup pin
      script dialer gsm
      no exec
      rxspeed 236800
      txspeed 118000
Normally it works fine, but when the signal level is very low it stops to respond. So this is normal, but when the signal is back again, the connection is still lost, or more specific, in my eyes the router (dialer?) doesn't know that the connection is lost.
The test scenario looks like this:
    - ping 172.16.1.1 repeat 500
    - ping response is received
    - I'm disconnecting an antenna
    - pings stops working
    - connecting back the antenna
    - pings are still not working, and all I can do is just to reboot router
I think that it might be a problem with interoperability with a specific GSM carrier.
I have checked what is going on with modem during this test and it looks like this:

  • Firmware for Nokia N70

How do I go about updating the firmware for my Nokia N70 (Vodafone)?
    My current version is V5.0609.2.0.1 01-03-06 RM-84
This is the second N70 I have had and they have both randomly dropped calls. After reading several threads on this forum I think it may be to do when it switches from 3G to GSM.
Maybe a firmware upgrade may fix it.

I have purchased the same N70 on 7-10-2007, and its version is also V 5.0705.3.0.1 30-01-07 RM-84 . when i fill memory card with images, mp3 songs, applications, etc, upto 300MB out of 1GB, it starts working very very slow. I need a help. Please Help me! it is working very slow like taking 1min. or more even to open main menu and other folder.

  • Unable To Repair/Update Firmware for a Creative Nomad Jukebox

    Hello all,
I've been trying for the past...3 or 4 hours to get my player to work, but it simply refuses to work =P. I sent the problem into Creative, but haven't gotten a response for a couple days now. So, here's a copy-paste of what I sent in that e-mail. If you can think of anything that might help, please don't hesitate to post! I really need your help on this one!
My player's hard dri've recently died, and I received
a replacement from the original store (a CompUSA).
However, my Firmware for the device has failed. I
tried the firmware upgrade for my Zen, but after
a certain number of tries, I gave up. Here is the
list of steps that I followed.
On Zen: Click "Reload OS", let it run, it says
    run the firmware upgrader now.
On Computer: "You cannot install this firmware
update with your player's current drivers using
the SB394 connector. To update your player's
    firmware, this application will temporarily
replace the current drivers and restore them after
    the installation is complete. Continue
installation?", I click Yes. Then it says to
disconnect, and re-connect. I do it.
It shows my version (.2.0), and I'm upgrading/
repairing it to .2.02. When I click "Upgrade", a
warning message pops up and says:
"Your player cannot start up properly. Please
reboot your player and run this application again.
I've done this at least 0 times, and nothing changes. My player is a Nomad Jukebox Zen, the one with a FireWire connection, and like I said,
I've tried this at least 0 times with the same results. Is there a process to completely remove
the firmware on the device, then reinstall it,
or to roll it back or something? Any other ideas
to fix this problem is needed as well.

    Bump.

I have a 1st generation Time Capsule with current firmware. Can I define the time periods when my children's devices have access to the wi-fi network?

Can I define the time periods when my children's devices have access to the wi-fi network?
Yes, using the Timed Access feature in AirPort Utility, you can setup specific rules for each wireless device which define the exact timeframe each day that the device will be allowed to connect to the wireless network.
    Example....junior's iPhone can connect.....
    Everyday......Between.....9 AM and 10:00 PM
    or
    Weekdays.......Between......4 PM and 9 PM
and Weekends.....Between......9 AM and 11 PM

I'm having trouble finding a firware update for v2 of my BEFW11S4 router. The support page for this model offers a firmware update for v4 only. My current firmware v. is 1.45, which may be the latest version, but I can't seem to find this out anywhere on the Linksys website.
The reason for the update is that my neew iPod 2G won't connect to the internet and I'm guessing an update might help.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

You can Download 740 KB firmware for BEFW11S4 V2 and save it on the dekstop
Follow these steps to upgrade the firmware on the device : -
Open an Internet Explorer browser page on a computer hard wired to the router...
In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1...Leave the Username blank & in Password use admin in lower case...
Click on the 'Help' tab- Then click on the 'Firmware Upgrade' .... Here click on 'Browse' and browse the .bin firmware file and click on "Upgrade"...

  • E72: Is there a new firmware for Nokia Messaging ?

    Hello,
I have E72 and it has integrated Nokia Messaging. But when I look up Nokia's messaging website, It talks about additional functions like social networking as part of nokia messaging. Are these available for E72 ? I also see the newer Nokia phones,C3,C6 & E5 already have the new version of messaging softwware. Any idea if E72 will get these ?
    Thanks
    venks

Nokia Messaging is rather confusing as there are different components.
There's Nokia Messaging Email which is built into the E72 email client (which is part of the firmware).
Then there's Nokia Messaging for IM (aka 'Chat'), which you should have pre-installed as the 'Chat' app.
Finally there's Nokia Messaging for Social Networks which is another separate app.
If you go to http://messaging.nokia.com/ and select your phone, it will show you the services available in NM. You can't download the Email client as it's built into the firmware. You can download the IM app though to update the one built in (I think it may be available via Control Panel -> Phone -> Software Update on the phone also).
NM for Social Networks isn't currently available for the E72 officially. It was available as a beta but it's been removed, I believe due to quality issues. I had downloaded it and frankly it was fairly rubbish.
Personally, if you want an app for Facebook, you can do better getting the official Facebook app for the E72 (from the Ovi Store) and for Twitter get Gravity. The latter has some beta and alpha versions which also support Facebook (plus as GPS support and other features) which work great. Yes, Gravity costs money, but frankly it's well worth paying for as it's one of the best Twitter clients on any mobile phone.
P.S. NM for Email can only be updated by a firmware update of the email client. There are newer versions of the email client for 5th edition as it's not integrated into the firmware. Unfortunately Nokia decided to integrate it on the E72 and these updates are not available to us. That means crucially we don't get Destinations support in the email client

  • How to get the latest firmware for BT Home Hub-3 &...

I have had this new BT Home Hub3 activated last night.
To get connected wireless to my Mac Book Air and iPod Touch, I had to refresh the Wireless Channel in my BT Home Hub settings. The Hub has selected the Channel 11 automatically that works well for my home wireless connection.
This morning, my Home Hub has reverted back to Channel 6 and my wireless would not work. I had to go back to the settings in the Home Hub-3 to "Refresh" to select the best Channel and it has chosen Channel 11 again and all works well.
My question is how could I get the Home Hub-3 to remember the selected channel without me in the morning to refresh the setting on a daily basis?[I have tried by selecting the "Apply" and a green circle with a tick to denote that the change had taken place]
Home Hub-3 current firmware Version 4.7.5.1.83.8.45 [Type A] and I noticed a new one available and How could I update mine to the latest?
    Regards

if you select advance settings and go back to the wireless page, you will be able to see channel selection, likely to be on Automatic (smart wireless); here you can manually select channel 11 and it will stay there.

what is the original firmware for iphone 3gs model number a1303?

    What does it matter?
What is the issue you are trying to resolve?
The current version of iOS for the 3GS is 6.1.2.

  • What's the latest firmware for WRT54G?

For my Linksys WRT54G router, my current firmware is 4.21.1.
When I browse for new firmware (by choosing 4.0 on the drop down menu), it says that I have the latest one.  Is this true or am I searching for it wrongly?

    dudztgp wrote:
Make sure to select the proper hardware version before the firmware. If your WRT54G is hardware version 4.0, then you have the latest firmware already installed.
Underneath my router it says "Model No: WRT54G ver.2"
And I upgraded my firmware a couple years ago and it is 4.21.1.
Am I fully updated or no?

  • When will Sweden get the new v20 firmware for N97?...

OK, third attempt. This time I will not make any harsh comments directed at Nokia as they have threatened to remove my account.
Please, please, pretty please with sugar on top, when will you release the v20 firmware for unbranded Swedish N97? I would be super-duper happy if you would release it very, very soon and I would be even more happy if there was any kind of schedule for the release. I see that many, many other regions have it already but not the Nordic countries.

Sadly all you can do is wait like many people in many other countries have to do.  Shouting, ranting, threatening nokia on this forum will not get you any results whatsoever.
Nokia will not give you a date for a specific country, they never do because in most cases they do not know.  Different countries have different approval processes and some are more efficient than others.
Take a look at the software updates board and see how many people are in the same boat as you.  UK users have been especially vocal about it on a thread that I started. We managed to keep that thread constructive which lead to comments from nokia and coverage in the UK press.
It's a poor situation that for the moment we are stuck with.  Anyone that doesn't like it is welcome to foot with their feet.
As for v20 on the N97 you really need to fully reset the phone (dial *#7370# which wipes all data from phone memory) after installing it to get the most out of it.  Before a reset it's ok, after it's been great for me so far.
Also for the lens and GPS issues it's entirely at the care points discretion if they lend you a phone or not.  Care points are independent companies, not run by nokia.  Again some are more efficient than others.
