Current ifolder3-enterprise source code?
For some time, I have been unsuccessfully looking for up-to-date source code for iFolder server. It appears that Novell has continued updating binary packages for OES, at least within the past few months. But the most recent sources I can find are 15 months old. The product is GPL-licensed, so current sources should be available. Does anyone have any information about this?
(The Sourceforge SVN appears to have only client code on it, and my emailed requests to the developers have gotten no responses beyond, "I don't work on iFolder anymore.")

Updated GPL source code for PX6-300d
Hi,
I've been doing some work with a PX6-300d that I recently got and I can't find the kernel patches for the current kernel. The current firmware version is 4.1.108.32627, which appears to use Linux version 3.8.6. The LifeLine version 4.1.102 Open Source Code contains the source to a 3.8.6 kernel, but it lacks the patches that add various device drivers, including the LCD display driver. The older source packages (such as that for LifeLine version 4.0.4) include these patches, but they're for a much older kernel version, version 2.6.39.

I do not know if the current 4.1x source code download was intended to have the patches you are refering to. However I will try contacting people on my end to see want I can find out for you.

I am running 10.6.8 and using iweb for my web site. After several SEO analysis they all indicate I need H1-6 header tags. After looking at the source code I see there are none in iweb. Are they necessary to add? Why would one add these tags and how do I add H Tags to iweb? And are there examples to look at? I am slowly learning about simple web design and assumed that iweb was stand alone without having to write code. Is this one of the reasons iweb is no longer supported? Thanks for looking at this!

I would guess that the use of h1-h6 tags helps search engines to understand the structure of a page as the tags imply a certain structure.
This can be compared to more generic tags like <div> that could represent any kind of content - and may be what iWeb uses (you'll have to check yourself).
I would generally recommend that you use some kind of up to date blog/site building tool, perhaps Wordpress or Squarespace (I haven't used either one myself) that support current web technologies - this should reduce your SEO issues and make it easier to properly support mobile/tablet users. -

I also did a search in this eclipse folder for "examples" but I did'nt find the example I'm looking for

LLVM Version / Alchemy Source Code
Hi,
I wanted to get a better understanding of flash and decided to learn how the avm2 and alchemy works. I would like to do some fun stuff with LLVM, including generating .swfs from other languages than c/c++. By trying so I noticed that Alchemy is based on LLVM 2.1 which is kinda old (released Sep 2007). Is there a way to use or port it to a newer LLVM version? It would make my experiment a lot easier and taking advantage of over three years development on LLVM would be great .
As far as I understand alchemy adds a new backend to LLVM arch=avm2 to generate avm actionscript code from LLVM IL code. Am I correct that this addition is not open source? Would be too bad, as I hoped to get an better understanding of the avm2 by looking into it. Also that would make it possible for us users of alchemy to port it ourself.

FlorianI think it's possible and I've been trying to do that for the last couple of days. I believe I've found out how the process works for compiling to iphone, using something similar to the alchemy toolchain. What I'd like to do is create an actioncript compiler with alchemy, so it basically is flash - flash, but taking advantage of all the optimizations that LLVM makes on bytecode, once you can understand it. I believe that adobe uses the following process:
compile .as to ABC.
Pass ABC into the GlobalOptimizer that exists inside the actionscript compiler (ASC.jar).
It appears that GlobalOptimizer produces SSA IR code. I believe adobe slightly modifies this to be LLVM IR, and then they can just run llvm-as on the generated LLVM IR code.
I'm working on getting this functioning right now, because if I can get these stages done, then the existing alchemy toolchain should do the rest of the job (that is, taking that llvm bytecode and outputting actionscript bytecode using the existing back end). This would also explain why Adobe hasn't updated alchemy to work with a new version of LLVM, because the LLVM IR spec changes from release to release, so they'd have to keep changing the process of formatting their GlobalOptimizer output to be LLVM IR, which is probably more work than they want to invest right now.
In this list of processes, I'm on the last one. I'm currently figuring out how to convert the output from GlobalOptimizer to be valid LLVM IR but honestly, this is ALL new territory for me I need to find the specs on these things and do some reading. I had to customize the source code of the actionscript compiler to get this to work at all this far. The very fact that I had to do this also points to the fact that I'm on the right track, since posts I've seen from Adobe employees + documentation state that the actionscript compiler included in the alchemy toolkit is custom. Can you help me out in letting me know what this means and how I can fix this? I found it in my tools menu under error console. It was listed as a warning, but then there was a option to highlight and evaluate the original warning message that was listed as

How to convert class file to Java source code ?

Currently am working in Peoplesoft Demo project using java as Plug in.We have only the class files and jar files and we have planned to modify the code for future enhancements.We dont have any legal issues here as we are already working with our client for the original source code.
Kindly help me out in doing this reverse engineering process.We have come to know the below steps would help us out.Can someone guide us in acheiving this process step by step.Please add your experience here and let us know what are the other steps required ..
(1)Rename the file from .jar to .zip and extract the .zip file.
(2)Decompile the desired .class file using 3rd party tool and get .java file.
(3)Modify the .java file and compile it.
(4)Now zip the extracted files and rename the it from .zip to .jar.
We need to verify whether the modified .jar file will work

Yes, this is what I need to do, but also it needs to display the source code of that html file that the server produces in response to the client's request. Also, in this case, I am the client requesting that the server return some html file, and I'm not sure where the server is. But the webserver.java file that I shared on the forum is on my local machine. I was wondering if I could modify this webserver.java file at my home so that any html file the server returns to me would automatically display the source code. This is a school project of mine and I am stuck on this one thing here.
Further, where would I put the "foo.html" file so it can be written to?

The source editor in the LabWindows/CVI environment is constructed under the concept of virtual space.
At the moment, in the current version of LabWindows/CVI, this is the default behavior, which cannot be changed from the editor preferences dialogs.

What im trying to do is when someone clicks one of the keywords in the tree browser file that it takes them to the source code window and to that method or variable the clicked. For exaple lets say have 2 windows, on the left side is just a list of methods and variables and ont he right hand is the window which u can see the source code. What i need is that when someone click on a method name on the left window, it will take them directly to that method name in the source file window (right window).

CheersDoes JavaClass contain the list of JavaMembers? If so, and if it is supposed to reflect the current state of the file that is open on the right hand side, then it should probably have methods to get the line and column number for the start of the contained JavaMembers. If you can figure out how to keep that in sync, you should be able to query it directly and set the cursor position.

Error in compiling java source code in a package
hi all...
am having a problem in compiling a java source code:
i have a class named 'Test' in the package 'packone'....
i have another class named 'getTest' in the same package....
in the class getTest i am taking a reference to Test class...
on compiling i am getting the following error....
cannot resolve symbol
symbol : class Test
The source code for the two classes are :
package packone;

Test t = new Test();
i have included the directory path in the classpath....
still its not compiling .....
please help
thanks....Assume the current directory structure:
C:\
C:\packone...and that your classes are named Test & GetTest.
My guess is that you're compiling within the directory C:\packone using the command "javac GetTest.java", which is wrong; You must use a path corresponding to the package-name.
Move your command-line cursor to C:\ and type "javac packone\GetTest.java" and you'll be fine...

Okay, I am trying to call a method from my "main" method, but am getting errors. When I compile I get "non-static method <method name> cannot be referenced from a static context." what does this mean, and what do I do to get around this?
