Current Release of Z10 Firmware

Hi Guys,
I use a Z10 which has firmware version 10.2.0.429 running. It's provided by A1, a cell phone operator in Austria. In the deepness of the internet I found hints on a newer version called 10.2.1.* which has a runtime environment for Android to run Android Apps.
However, when I press the Update Button on my Phone, it says it's the actual version. But I am not sure if my cell phone provider is sleeping or BB has not launched it officially. On BB-Website the last message is about version 10.1 (sleepy dogs :-) http://de.blackberry.com/support/smartphones/blackberry-z10/software-updates/release-highlights.html...
My Question:
What is the officially launched, latest release version of BB OS for Z10 and if it is not 10.2.1.*, when would be the launch date for dhis release?

As of today, 10.2.0.xxx is the latest officially released OS for the BlackBerry10 models.
The 10.2.1.xxx OS is not official yet.
No one here knows the official release dates, although rumors are this month... unconfirmed rumors.

I wnet to a web site tonight and a meeage from FireFox displayed that I was not on the current release. I know which release I'm on and at this time I do not wish to upgrade my release.

I use release 3.5.1 of FF because it is compatible with the software I use. Nothing worse than you nagging me that I'm not on the most current release. Get off my ******* back. Stop the nagging messages. I'll upgrade when I'm ******* good and ready to upgrade. Un F'n believable!

The solution is simple. Go to Tools, select Options, a window will pop up. Click Advanced, select Update tab. In the options 'Automatically check updated to', uncheck 'Firefox'. Click Ok, you're done. :)

Where to find release notes for firmware v20 of 58...

Changelogs are considered confidential information by Nokia. You'll not see an official document reporting the changes made. What you might see is leaked documents on some websites, and you have to take those with a pinch of salt.

We need a FM or method , which can give us current release code for PO.
We have PO number with us and PO details like Release strategy and release group.

What is the Current Release of P6?

What is the most current release of P6? Currently I'm using P6 Release 6.2.1 SP4. I have seen Release 8.2 in some forums as well as a new release mention of 9.1? My company intends to upgrade to the most current release from what we have now (6.2.1 SP4). Are there any issues jumping from 6.2.1 sp4 to 6.8.2 or whatever is the most current? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

I believe Release 8.2 can only read databases created using 8.0 and above. That is a major flaw if you're trying to connect to a database containing several projects. The only workaround would be to export the projects from the old databse and then import the projects back to the new database.
By the way, the version as are follows:
P6 version 6.0, 6.1, 6.2, etc
P6 version 7.0, 7.1, 7.2 etc
P6 version 8.0, 8.1, 8.2

Help needed to install Flash Player : 'Non-Current Release' problem!

I been encountering problems while trying to install Flash Player on my laptop running Windows 7.
Originally Flash Player does not work as I understand it is not supported on 64-bit Internet Explorer.
After installing 32-bit IE, the following issue of 'non-latest version' arises and all installation were aborted by the application :
The below were steps I had taken to no success.
1. Via the 32-bit browser, downloaded flash player un-install program and did the uninstallation with success.
2. Rebooted the laptop.
3. Via the 32-bit browser, downloaded the flash player version 10.0.45.2 from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer.
4. After downloading it automatically did the installation with 100% completion.
5. The program proceeded to activate the flash player with a webpage saying if the flash player is working properly, I should see a video and Flash Player's logo.
6. Before anything was displayed, an error message popped up to say I was trying to install a non-current version and that I should go to same webpage to download the latest version. The activation was then aborted.
Tried many times but always encountered same problem and hence cannot proceed to use the flash player.
Need assistance to diagnose the problem and to get Flash Player working on my laptop. Appreciate any help to get it working.

Thanks to efforts of eidnolb and Bob, the installation of flash player into my laptop is now working .
Bob's installer enabled the download successfully.
Eidnolb's link in post 6 trigggered me that I may have previously installed the pre-release version 10.1, thereby leading to the 'non-current-version' problem too. Post in that link adviced to uninstall 10.1 using the pre-release uninstaller.
I suggest others who had encountered this non-current release to uninstall first using that specific uninstaller, before attempting to install the most current release. I may have installed the 10.1 pre-release in desperation after failing numerous times trying to figure out why flash player does not install in browser not knowing its currently-non-support of 64-bit browser.

How to get CV04N to display only current released revision

Hello all-
We need to set our CV04N results return to show only the current released revision as determined by Document Status and Valid From Date.
Example:
Document 1234567/BIO/000/00   Status is RL      Valid from date is 01/01/2011
Document 1234567/BIO/000/01   Status is RL      Valid from date is 01/03/2011
When CV04N is executed we only want the return display to show Document 1234567/BIO/000/01 because it has the most recent valid from date of 01/03/2011
We have explored using the layout/filters but Valid From Date does not appear to be an option.
Help-please.

Straight forward in the CV04n screen there is a selection filed
Document Status
Date From:   & Date To:
in that just place date of your selection, you will get the desired output, but you have to maintain the Valid From in the CV01N/CV02N.

Additional PR release step in current release strategy

Our current PR release strategy is overall release and based on 3 characteristics: doc type, creation indicator and total value of PR. release code is relevant to standard workflow WS20000077 with role resolution using user-exit. User exit is based on the position of PR creator to navigate HR org structure for assigning manager who has sufficient release authority as workflow approver.
There is a request for additional release step in case the PR contains item for a particular material group or fixed vendor, then the first release step should be taken by a dedicated position/user.
I found that it is quite confusing while PR release strategy is overall release but referring PR item level data. Please advise how to implement the additional release step. Thanks.

Thanks for your reply. My intention to create different doc type is for separate set of release strategy.
In current release strategy, for example, if doc type = NB, creation indicator = manual and the total value of PR is $1K, then the PR requires release code A1 for approval and the approval is align with the company finance policy. The manager (with release authority A1) of the PR creator then selected by the user exit and assigned with workflow task.
For the request for additional release step, if doc type = ZS, creation indicator = manual and the total value of PR is $1K, then the PR requires release codes AA and A1 (new release strategy). The user exit will assign a dedicated position/user (not necessary the manager of the PR creator) for release code AA, and then assign the manager of the PR creator for release code A1. Therefore, even the total value of PR is also $1K, but since the PR item contains material group 80501, then the PR require an additional approval on top of the $1K financial approval.

I am running an upgrade in modus PREPARE from 4.6C to ECC 6.0 and I get the message that: current release too low (< 2002_1_31I).
I downloded the Add-Ons 2002_1_46C (SAPKIND76A).
I extract it to \usr\sap\trans\EPS and the file is ...\EPS\bin
I logon to the the system and uploaded it and I see it is installable.
Problem: When I want to install it the system tells its already installed.
Why I see it its installable? Why PREPARE ask for it when its installable?

Current Release Compatibility with Lenovo IdeaPad U300

Has anyone had the opportunity to use the current release (2011.08.19 at time of writing) on a Lenovo IdeaPad U300? I am thinking about picking one up but want to confirm hardware compatibility before I did so. I looked in the HCL in the Wiki, but didn't see this particular model listed.

There isn't anything special about working in DW8 with Spry.
Your widget will render as exploded markup: easy to see content but
harder to determine layout. But as HTML and CSS, editing should be
straightforward.
But I am spoiled by having widget rendering and Spry code
coloring and hinting in DWCS3 for many months now.
Widgets render as they do in the browser and you can
add/remove tabs and switch between them.
Spry code hinting, esp with the data stuff, is quite fun.
But, for now, DW8 will do just fine for you.

HELP: I Can't Reload Z10 Firmware

my z10 has been doing a few silly things since the last update and i saw via bb link that if this is the case, try reloading the firmware. yes i have done that in the past with other bb's and so decided to give it a go. but when i select the Reload button via bb link, it does absolutely nothing. literally.
what the heck is going on folks. i just want to reload the firmware. help!

To return to latest carrier released OS.
1- pull battery out
2- open Link
3- click on setting top right corner
4- plug your phone to computer
5- insert battery in
6- while booting up click on your phone left bottom corner
7- you should see a window popping up, during reboot, that give you the choice of reloading to carrier setting
If that doesn't work:
Try connecting your device to the PC
On the PC, go to URL www.blackberry.com/update
remove and replace the battery to reload the OS.
If that doesn't work, let us know.

Is Nokia releasing a new firmware for the E72?

After the bugs introduced with the latest firmware (no company search, SMS and calls recepction,...), does anybody know if Nokia has plans to fix them in a new firmware release?
