Current version not opening items.

My problem started when I was trying to view a Christmas card on my HP Pavilion HPE desktop. I got a message saying that I had to update Adobe Flash Player, which I did, but the card would still not open. I did the update several times, including updating after turning off my Norton virus protection. The installations completed successfully but I still could not read the card.
Yesterday, I tried opening another interface, which told me that I needed Adobe Flash Player Version 9 or greater in order to open it. I checked in Control Panel which indicates that I have Adobe Flash Player 12 ActiveX installed.
Both the card and the second program open with no problem on my Toshiba Satelite laptop which has Adobe Flash Player 11 ActiveX installed on it.
What could be the problem on my desktop and how can I correct it?
Any help anyone can give me will be greatly appreciated.

The problem... is Internet Exploder 11. Microsoft DELIBERATELY screwed up the "User Agent Strings" to throw off websites and apps that identify a browse and plugins. They're convinced this was a great idea.

I recommend using another browser and the other Flash Player plug-in.

ANY of those will work where IE11 won't, with the Flash Player Plug-in (For all other browsers), and Chrome doesn't even need that because it has its own Flash Player plugin built in.

In upper 1/4 of window, mouse will not open items

In firefox window mouse does not open items in top 1/3 of window. Normally arrow changes to pointer hand. This does not happen in upper 1/3 of opened window. In lines above the page items do open.

How to get list of company codes with current period not opened?
Is there any way we can check whether the current period is opened for all company codes.
If not how, can we generate a report which having information of period and company code. Also please tell me, which table will have info on posting periods and company codes.

The MM periods details can be viewed In Table MARV . On the selection screen you have the option of entering the company codes , current period, year current period etc. so make the required entries and you get the all details relevant to MM periods. Also it can be downloaded as a report.Thanks

Current version not generated!

Hello Colleagues,
I have a role in one system where I transported into another system.
I selected the flag of "Also Transport Generated Profiles for Single Roles" when I transported the role.
And when the import is done in the target system, I see that the Authortisation tab in PFCG for this
role is Yellow and the status is 'Current version not generated'. So I'm forced to generate profile manuallt for this role.
Can anyone tell what is the reason for the profiles not getting generated while importing?

Query current version not available

Dear Experts
How to find the query curent version.I tried via RSZCOMPDIR in that i found version of the reporting component as 101.I would like to whether query version is 3.x or 7.0 or 7.1etc...I tried for RSRREPDIR ..no use...please help in identify the current version.

Hi Rajesh,
I am not sure what you mean by 7.0 or 7.10. These are versions of the BW backend, but in query is created with the Query Designer, which is a frontend component. There is no such version as 7.10 of the BW frontend. There is only BI 7.0 ADDON with a patch level. Each patch level increases the number 100, but unfortunately I do not know exactly which patch corresponds to which version.
So if you want to know whether the query is designed with the 3.5 or 7.0 it is enough to have the version from RSZCOMPDIR. In addition to this, if your query is already migrated to 7.0 and you try to open it with the old (3.5) designer you will get an error that the query has been created with a newer version of the Query designer, so it cannot be opened.
No, I don't think you will find any official documentation of RSZCOMPDIR, since this is an SAP internal table and it is not a proper way for all customers to check the version. Usually you would know which queries have been migrated and which were not.
But if you still don't believe me, you can check the posting where another 3 people said the same thing I did:

Why does the newest version not open to the homepage no matter which way you set it up?

The latest version of Firefox recently installed on my PC. Now, no matter which way I set the home page it does not open to that. I simply get a blank tab. Yes, I have set the page correctly and even told Firefox to open to the home page. It does not work. It will accept the settings, and I have rebooted a few times too. When I click the home icon, it opens the page so I know it is set up correctly.

TS3212 iTunes latest version not opening

When syncing my iPhone with iTunes the application froze. This has left my iPhone with apps half-installed (ie useless) and iTunes unable to open. I am running Windows 7 and this seems to be a known problem. There is a fix and an alternative fix offered by Apple. I have tried both with no success. I then uninstalled my entire program, and reinstalled. That did not work. Then I tried both fixes again, and they did not work. Is anyone experiencing this? Does anyone know of a fix that works? Currently I have an iPhone, and iPod Touch and an iPad which all are now less and less useful due to this. Help!!!

I am using Windows 8 and itunes that I downloaded and used 2 days ago locked up, I also tried to reinstall, it's still not working. It won't even open on this pc although it will open on my laptop with Windows 7 pro. I am out of ideas, any input would help......spent too much time on it already

PFCG Current version not generated

Facing a weird issue with PFCG role generation.
Not able to generate the role in PFCG, attached error screenshot too. This error is started coming up after creation of Z authorization object.
Please share your ideas if anyone has came across with such error.

You need to input the values to the authorization objects which appears as yellow (small triangle)
Once your authorization object is Green, Generate and Save the role

Clear older open items which is posted

We are trying to clear GR/IR open items, but the issue is GL Account earlier was not open item, and later it changed to open item. now the problem is earlier items which were posted is not getting clear as they are not showing as a red or open items, Can someone help me to how to clear this older items now?

Its surprising that you were able to modify an exisitng account from non-open item managed to Open Item Managed with balance it.
Please see below standard SAP Message which you should have received. while changing Open Item Management Tick in existing G/L Account.
Could you please answer how you were able to modify the G/L Account with Open Item when there was a balance in it.
You cannot change the open item management setting; (see long text)
    Message no. FH087
Diagnosis
    This account does not have a balance of zero.
System Response
    You cannot switch the open item management specification on or off with
    this transaction.
Procedure
    If you want to switch this function on retroactively for a certain
    account, you should create a new account with the correct setting and
    use this to make a transfer posting of existing items.
    If you want to switch off the open item management function
    retroactively for an account, you must first clear all the postings
    currently on this account. You cannot make any changes to the account
    management method until this is done.

Post open items with clearing for a account nt previously open item managed

Hi,
We have a current VAT account which was not open item managed till April 2008. Since the account has a zero balance we were able to make it open item managed from May onwards.
Using transaction code FS10N we see that there are some items which are open (type SB and SA). We want to post these items with clearing.
Moreover the postings made in the vat account are done every month but they are manual postings only using T.Code FB50 and as checked using the transaction code OB40.
We are not also allowed to run program RSEPA02. as this is not a standard program and not recommended to be run by SAP.
Could anyone please sujjest how can we post the previous items with clearing.

Hi,
In this case when you are shifting account from open item to non open item all the open item debit and credit side to a dummy account and when account is converted into open item you have to reverse the earlier entries.
Check this with what exactly you have done.
Assign points if solved the problem.

Publish date and Current Version

Hi - I've got auditing configured for my page group.
I'd like to create a new version of my item which is to be published at a date in the future, replacing the existing version which will remain valid until then.
Is this achievable using 'out of the box' features? It seems that if I set the new item to the current version, then nothing is displayed until the publish date. If I leave the existing item as current, then the new item is never displayed without manually switching the version to be current independent of publish date.
Any ideas?

the problem is that the publish date is only active for the current version of the item. so it is not possible to publish a version of an item at a given time because you need to make it the current version before the attribute publish date is active as well.
the only workaround i can think of is using CM APIs:

there is a function called modify_item. you could run a job that modifies the items you want to modify at a given date and add them as a new version or update the existing version of the item.

Deleted Items Appearing on the FBL3n Report for Open Items

We just went live and I am facing a huge issue;
I deleted many migration entries from loads of GL Accounts for multiple Co Codes, but on the FBL3n report, whenI execute with the option of 'Open Items' only, I still see the deleted items with a green check sitting there.
How can i get those from being visible?

Hi:
This is standard behavior. Your GL accounts are managed on line item basis hence despite of the fact you reversed the entries they will continue to be shown in open item selection criteria which in fact are not open items. It makes no sense to see a GL account in FBL3N on open item date since this account has been configured on the basis on line item management and i will continue to be shown as line item with green sign . Execute report FBL3N with open item or with all item (with date you give in open item) you will see the same figures and same line items. However you can exclude the reversed entries by fetching reversed with (BKPF-STBLG) field from menu ..settings...special fields and hence excluding the entries having this filed update.
I hope this will solve your issue.

Transfer Open items and balance of one GL to new GL Account.

I have an account which has around 10000 postings in it.However this account is not open item managed.I want to switch to Open Item Management for this account,but SAP does not allow as there are postings made to it.
I searched forum for solution on the same,and I got to know to transfer the postings and balances to new account.
The problem I have is I want all open items to be present in the new GL I create.With f-04(transfer posting with clearing) I will have to transfer each and every posting individually.As I said there are almost 10000 entries in this account. Is there any way I can transfer all open items and balance at once in the new GL?

If you want to transfer all the items to the new gl, you have to transfer it manually or use a LSMW or BDC to transfer the open items

Dicsount he can take can be calculated from the payment terms..
Discount he had takend should can be calculated only after the payment is recd. It is directly stored in the tables.
Hence to meet your requirement, you would need to develop a report with the above fields in place.
