To sync with an iPhone you have to be running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or higher on an Intel Mac.

I have got myself in a real mess, I installed the new iOS 7 onto my iPad and I don't like it so I imported all my new photos to my mac, then I reset all my settings on my iPad thinking that it would go back to the original settings but alas didn't work.
Then I thought I would put up with it but now I cannot put my photos etc back onto the iPad because my mac needs the version of iTunes but when I try to install the new version I get a messy come up that iTunes cannot install this new version on my mac which is a 10.5.8.
So now I am stuck with the software on the iPad I don't like and I cannot sync the iPad to iTunes
So why can't I download the new version of iTunes to the mac which is 10.5.8Put simply, the minimum system requirements for iTunes have changed. You need a Mac running at least OS X 10.6.8.
It's best you look online to see if your model of Mac can be upgraded to at least 10.6.8 "Snow Leopard". It should still be possible to order a copy of Snow Leopard if so. -

I have a CC Photography License and tried loading the new Lightroom cc but it will not open (only flashes the welcome screen for a split second) then goes blank. I tried uninstalling it, rebooting, etc. several times and it will not work on my Mac with Yosemite. Please help!

I have a 4s iPhone which I loaded the new Os on last night. Now I can not connect to iTunes. A message comes up saying i need 10.6.3 or later but I am running 10.6.1 as I have an older Mac. Anyone have ideas how to get this to work?
Its not telling you to update your iPad, its telling you you need to download a recent version itunes on your computer.

Why can't I open and retrieve my files from iPhoto and my Address Book after importing the files from my Power Mac G5 to my new Mac Pro? I get a warning that says the new OS on my Pro doesn't open files from a Power Mac. Any idea how I can fix this?
For your addressbook, export the files to vCard on the PowerMac, then bring them over to your Mac Pro. For your iPhoto, copy the Users -> yourname -> Pictures folder to your Desktop on the Mac Pro, and open iPhoto on the Mac Pro holding the command and option keys. Select the library file from that Pictures folder and open it. It should import all the pictures into iPhoto as part of the rebuild process. Why can't I get the App "DeskConnect" on my Ipad 3. It claims to be compatible with Ipad, Iphone and Mac. I was able to download onto Mac and Iphone but it is not recognized for Ipad?
I liked the idea of this app so I went looking for it and have now installed it on my Mac, iPhone and finally my iPad.
This app, although it will run on the iPad is actually an iPhone/iPod app, as suggested above. So the only way to get it on my iPad was to search for it as an iPhone app in the App Store app on my iPad. Then it came up as an app that I could install on the iPad. -
HELP! I had iPhoto on my mac, for some reason it was not responding or damaged. down loaded a new version but can't find my photos. any ideas please. I thought once on the mac always on the mac.

What version of the OS do you have? What has changed since iPhtoo worked?
What exactly is the problem - you say "it was not responding" - You downloaded a new version (what version)" -you can't find yoru photos" none of which is helpful
look in your applications folder - is there an Iphoto application there? If so get info and report the version
Look in the picures folder - is there an iPhoto library there? If so exactly (including exact error messages) happens if you double click on it?
what else can you tell us that might help us assist you?

If i uninstall AMDS, iTunes and all Apple softwares, will all the music i currently have in iTunes delete.., or will it download itself back into the new iTunes?
Under normal circumstances, an uninstall/reinstall does not touch your content. That being said, it's still always a good idea to maintain a backup in case of disasters.

Mac user, OSX 10.9.4. CS6, in the new Blur gallery the pin with adjusters does not appear for any of the three blur filters. This may have occurred since taking adobe watermark add-on and updating Bridge. any ideas?

I ran into the same problem: I am able to place and view Blur Gallery pins but the adjustment wheel or outer control arounf the pin that allows you to tweak the blur value disappeared after being initially available. Additionally, the placed pin or pins appear to flicker on screen (while in blur gallery mode) until committing the change with the OK button. I have tried restarting both the computer and Photoshop, as well as what some other users have suggested such as View>Show>Edit pins turned on. Nothing has helped so far. I am still able to adjust the blur amount from the Blur Tools slider. thank you. -
