Hi! I currently have 10.5.8 on my computer. The automatic updates has stopped providing me updates. How do I get the newest software? I need this because the newest itunes won't install until the computer has the most up to date software. Help please!

you’ll need to purchase the white retail Snow Leopard DVD, install it, and then run Software Update to get it to 10.6.8. Once there, you can choose to download Lion, Mountain Lion, or Mavericks from the Mac App Store. (Mavericks is gratis; the other two aren’t.) I think that 10.6.8 will be new enough to get the latest version of iTunes.

Stuck with problems and no help

We are stuck with the following set of problems. Repeated entries to this forum have not fetced any response. If anybody can help us on any of these issues, please reply -
1. We are not able to define any custom validator. We made our own validator that extends CompareValidor, but when we try to apply this rule to an attribute in the validation tab, we get the error - "no properties defined". Do i need to do something else besides creating a new class that extends CompareValidator and then writing my own code in the vlaidate method.
2. While deploying our jspApplication on java web server, we are getting the message "error - null". The details are as mentioned in the Topic 'can anyone help!!!' that has been posted by Prabhdeep ().
3. I have two tables, Customer and address. There is no FK between them (there cannot be because address is shared between many entities). In the address, i have 2 fields, BpType and BpId. BpType will contain 'C' to identity that this address is for a customer and id will have the customer id. In jdev 3.1, i have created entity and view objects for the 2 tables. also, i have made a view link. i need to put the condition Address.bpid = customer.customeid and address.bptype = 'c'. but it is not letting me put the second part of the condition. the chk on id works fine. as soon as i add a chk on type and test the application module, then while insertion of address i get the following error - "set method for BpType cannot be resolved".
4. I have made a jsp appl based on bc4j. now, i need to put a check on any entity in such a manner that if the check fails, my jsp should ask the user that an exception is occuring and does he want to save even with the exceptional data. if he says yes, i want that the same entity should now save the data without giving an exception. How do i achieve this interaction between my entity and my jsp.

'c'") and that you are experiencing some runtime error.
Assuming the latter (that it is a RT problem), I take it this
"...cannot be resolved" error is the error with code 27020.
Under normal error conditions, you shouldn't get this error. Something "unusual" (or unforeseen by us) is happening if you are getting this error. Anyway, if you wrote your own client code, you should wrap a try/catch block around it, pick out the detail exception, and see what's going
on. See the example code below:

Z77A-GD55: Boot stuck with flashing cursor (need help!)
When I start my computer, it says A2 in the lower left of the screen, and then B2 for quite a long time. Afterwards, it's just a white cursor flashing on a black background, and nothing else happens.
I have recently installed a third hard disk and changed my graphics card (from 2x Sapphire HD 7970 to 1x EVGA GTX 760).

was the 3rd HDD clean (new with no OS on it) and what SATA port you got it attached to?
I removed the graphics card and connected the screen cables to the motherboard instead, and then started the computer. I worked fine, but of course, I can't use it how I want to without a graphics card.
I then tried to insert it again, and made sure everything was connected properly. When I then started the computer, nothing had changed, and it was still stuck at the flashing cursor.
The new hard disk was clean, yes. I previously had my three drives connected like this:
- SSD (240GB) and HDD (2000GB) connected to the two SATA 1&2 (6.0 Gb/s)
- Optical drive (Bru-Ray read/write) connected to SATA 3 (3.0 Gb/s)
When I installed the new hard disk, I connected the old 2TB to SATA 4 (3.0 Gb/s), and the new 3TB to SATA 2 (6.0 Gb/s).
The 240GB SSD is the disk with the operating system (Win7 64), and this is still, and has always been, connected to SATA 1.
Does anyone have any possible solutions for my problem from the information currently given?

Currently stuck with a locked iPhone because of Applecare
I have an iPhone 3GS that is a replacement phone provided by Applecare warranty when my original iPhone 3GS seriously overheated and met an early demise. The original iphone when it was replaced by Applecare was already out of contract (as it was replaced on the AT&T contract by a new iPhone 4).
Last month I submitted a request to AT&T to unlock my 3GS as it predessor had completed the stipulations of the contract. However my request was denied by AT&T because they show no record of my replacement phone's IMEI number in their system...they only have the original (the one that Apple took possession when they replaced it with my currrent locked 3GS).
I was informed by an AT&T supervisor that I under their policy they cannnot unlock the replacement 3GS because that specific phone did not meet the terms of the contract. They could however unlock my original iPhone, which is of no use since it's dead and now Apple's.
Does anyone have any suggestions on anyone that I could turn to for help on this?

Stuck with iPhone4. Please help!!!!
I bought a iPhone4 Unlocked from Singapore last week. I was using it with StarHub(Service provider) for a week there. After that i bought the phone to India yesterday. I am using a Cellone(service provider in india)connection here. I made my sim to a micro sim using a scissor as i did earlier in Singapore. When I insert the Sim in the mobile i get the message "No Sim Card Installed". I then bought new prepaid sim cards of other service providers and tried doing the same thing again. But i was getting the same message. I did a reset from the phone by erasing everything. Now when the phone starts it gives the error "Insert a Valid Sim Card with no pin lock to activate iPhone".
I really dont know what to do from here. I appreciate if you could help. I ordered the phone online. So am confused whether they have mistakenly sent me a locked phone?make sure your sim card is not locked when you insert it into the iphone. If you have a sim lock, you may have to insert the sim into another phone, then disable the sim lock and then reinsert it into the iphone and it should work nicely. give it a try.

You were able to program the function module but you are not able to find out why the exception is raised? This sounds a bit strange to me, or do you want us to give an answer in stead of searching for one yourself?
If you didn't create these container elements in the workflow you can't use them, and it could even be that that is why your exception is raised. By putting them in a container which is used when starting the workflow, they will not be automatically created in your workflow.
And to be more up to date use FM SAP_WAPI_START_WORKFLOW as Arghadip suggested.

I have been working at this for two hours now and I need a someone else's opinion other than my own. I need to create a method that finds the row index of the row which contains the largest number divisible evenly by 6. and the column index of the column with the smallest sum. all in one method.
This is what I have so far.

I followed all the directions to get Firefox 8 to work with my Norton 360, but nothing has worked. Is there anything else I can do? I didn't know there was an issue when I first upgraded to Firefox 8 so didn't choose the Norton plug ins immediately so I uninstalled Firefox hoping to be able to do it correctly when I Downloaded it again. Unfortunately it didn't ask me any thing regarding Norton so I went to Plug ins as directed to Enable Norton 360's plug ins, but none were listed.
What can I do now? I LOVE Firefox! If we can't make it work I'll be stuck with Internet Explorer which I do not care for at all!
I need to have Norton Security to protect my computer. Please help me find a solution to this problem ASAP.

Install the appropriate add-ons based on the version of Norton 360 you're using (see official Norton link above). Hope this helps.

My iPhone 5s (16GB) is stuck with 3948 photos (shown on the iTunes storage bar) on and I can not find a way to delete them all! It's very annoying as it takes up 6.54 GB of space and leaves me no room to add films, music...etc on to it. Please help me!!! I have already tried the numerous articles Apple have sent my way and I am still having no luck.I'd be eternally grateful if anyone could find a solution for me as this has been a problem for almost a year. If they were put there via iTunes sync process, then simply untick the Music box before syncing again.

Can somebody help me install IOS 6.1.3 back to my iPhone 4. IOS 7 or 7.0.4 is not smooth enough as perfect as IOS 6.1.3. I am stuck with this OS, every app gives a break for 4-5 seconds to open up. And playing games in this OS using iPhone 4 is really crazy. Very much disappointed that I am not able to use IOS 7 and cant go back to what I need.

Try restarting the iPod by holding down the lock and home button together and then slide the power button to turn it off and then wait 10 seconds and start it up again. If it is not a reset issue then it may be a hardware issue. Is your iPod damaged or have you dropped it recently? If it is a hardware problem then you may not be able to fix it. If your iPod has multitasking options like the new iOS devices, close out the app and then try again, it should reset your device to letters instead of emojis.
