Curser does not seem to stay on the page

When I am typing, in various applications, the curser seems to fall off the page. I get a beep that indicates I have to click on the page or app in order to keep typing

What browser are you using? Do you have any settings that restrict cookies from being saved? Have you tried any other browsers?

I've run diagnostics. Can't find device. I've tried resetting. The toggle has been turned on and off.

Cable works fine on my other iPod. Reset by pressing menu and center button together for 6-10 seconds. Left it to charge for many hours. Started acting up while running. Suddenly the music stopped playing but my Nike + was still working for the rest of my run. Took it straight it home and plugged it in to the wall to recharge since the battery was fairly low. Looked like it recharged ok but then screen went blank and now does it not show up on iTunes, does not seem to recharge by the wall charger (apple wall charger plugged into a surge protector in India). I have turned the hold switch off and on many times.
Sounds like a repair issue, which is not easy to do in India :(

The MacBook has no fax-modem. You will need an external (USB) modem.

The copy and paste keyboard commands in the app are controlled by Flash Player, sometimes there are issues with a browser/OS combination, make sure that Flash Player is up to date and if that doesn't help try another web browser.

When I turn on my ipad2 the volume box appears and does not go away until i hit the volume button on the side and the increase volume button does not seem to funtion only the lower section does?

You can only transfer purchases from iTunes on the iPad into iTunes on your computer. If you bought the music from another source, you need to use the source app to transfer the music, or you need a third party app to transfer the music.

How come rescaling "the katies website" does not seem to work in the browsers as it does on the videos that go withe the excercise?

Are you referring to menu on the page ? any any other specific content ?
Any content used as 100% browser width will work fine with browser resize, if you are not getting the same behavior , please provide the link to the page so that we can have a look.

Res.getPathTranslated() does not return correct URL of the page requested

The res.getPathTranslated() statement in the below code (in doFilter method) does not return the correct URL of the requested webpage.
Whenever a web page is accessed using a return statement (eg : return "nextPage"; ) inside a button's action method or a hyperlink's action method, the res.getPathTranslated() returns the URL of the current webpage instead of returning the URL of the webpage that is actually requested.
For example if there is a button on the page http://localhost:29080/MyJaas/faces/firstPage.jsp
And the button_action() is as follows
button_action()
return "nextPage";
The res.getPageTranslaged() returns "http://localhost:29080/MyJaas/faces/firstPage.jsp" instead of "http://localhost:29080/MyJaas/faces/nextPage.jsp"
However, if the webpage is requested by populating the URL property of the hyerlink in creator IDE, the res.getPathTranslated() returns the correct (requested) web page.
How to make res.getPathTranslagted() return the correct URL when the webpage is accessed from hyperlink's / button's action method?
I know that the explation is not very clear, so please bear with me. Let me know if you need more clarificatons. Thanks in advance for showing interest in this issue.

i got a problem when i try to connect to a webpage using
HttpURLConnection uc = (HttpURLConnection)url.openConnection();
uc.connect();
it doesn't execute the javascripts ?
Any ideas on how i can execute them?

well it starts a counter but that doesn't matter,
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://site.com/scripts/script.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript"> is included in the page where i try to connect;
this should start the counter, it does when i browse to it, so no problems
that function is in the file http://site.com/scripts/script.js, like i said
<script type="text/javascript">initCounter();</script> that function will offcourse call other functions inside that file.
So that is it :p

I have pages for the iPad 3 and it does not seem to sync with the cloud

I have the newest pages, an iCould account, an internet connection and every other possible thing. I have been troubleshooting this problem and I cant seem to get it working. Is anyone else having these issues with the iCloud syncing?

Settings > iCloud > Documents & Data > Documents & Data > On
Is your network working for everything else? eg Mail & Safari?

I tried to register my ipad thru the Apple website but it won't let me register because I do not have the exact purchase date. This was a gift and I do not know the exact date. So frustrating because I am excited and anxious to use my new ipad!

Try making up a date. something relatively recent. See if that allows you to go forward

My ipad2 does not seem to be taking the 3g over the WiFi

I bought the device on Saturday, and have already used 178 meg on my Verizon plan. At work/home I have Wifi (and have verified that I was connected at all times). The only time I do not have Wifi is during a 30 minute train ride to and from work, and the only thing I used the service for was reading the news.
After I saw the usage number rising, I turned off the 3g, and the number stopped growing.
Is there some kind of priority setting that I did not choose?
Also, after turning the 3g back on this morning, I could not connect to the internet during my commute. To make sure I wasnt picking up someones Wifi, I turned my Wifi off, so it cant be that I was piggybacking onto someones weak signal.
Any help would be appriciated!

Do you have push notifications and push email turned on? If it works like the iPhone, I believe the iPad with 3G uses the 3G signal while in sleep mode to receive any push data coming in in the background. You might try turning all this stuff off (and anything else that runs in the background like Skype) to see if it lowers your data usage.
