Mac OS 10.6, just installed firefox 4 and the scrolling feature within the page is not working inspite of it be set to do that under preference- advance. suggestions?

Hi Eric, it is Safari but I thunk I've solved it by dragging the autofill into the safari toolbar and clicking on it when I want to use the fearture. Nothing else worked. this OS is a crock as far as I am concerned.

also tablet is fully working and operational,
drivers are up to date,

   I uninstalled tablet drivers and adobe software and reinstalled again without tablet, now it's working so it was a driver that messed up all..
Oh, the error code nr was : 1
i also was suprised but this is what I got from photoshop in error message the rest of it was about contacting adobe.com/support ..blahblahblah
I am still not fully understanding how its possible that so well paid software is not compatble with my super old tablet while even stupid paint is..
I am sure it is complicated, however as U see I am not able to anything else but operate with mouse.. or switch to linux and practice in gimp..

If the Mail application will not launch, I would recommend processing any available updates on your Mac Pro and test launching Mail. If the issue persists, process a reinstall of Mavericks.

WiFi stops working after install of latest 10.8.5 update on MacBook 5,1 third time reinstall OS.
MB used as email and surfing tool when on vacation. Worked fine for months. Installed the latest security patch (update) and WiFi quit working. Two days later (still on vacation) WiFi started working again and worked fine for the next 2 days.
Came home and formatted and reinstalled 10.8.5 and all was fine again. We are selling the MacBook and setup new user, everything worked fine.
The update came up again so I decided to install it and WiFi instantly stopped working after the restart.
Does anybody have any idea what is happening.

Not really, although WiFi has been a longstanding problem for lots of people. I fix for some breaks others.
However, if you are trying to sell it, you need to revert it back to the OS that shipped with it. You cannot sell your copy of Mountain Lion with the Mac. It is only licensed to you.
You also need to include the system disks that came with the Mac. If it came with Leopard (10.5), and you have a Snow Leopard (10.6) disk, you can install that if you provide that disk also.

OK I solved it.
I followed instructions from http://superuser.com/questions/214943/what-is-preventing-my-macbook-from-sleepin g/409481/
Go to Utilities in the Applications folder and open the "Terminal" app.
Type pmset -g and hit Enter
If "sleep" has 0 next to it and the words "imposed by" or "prevented by ; The number next to the imposed by is the process ID causing the problem. Copy that number.
Type ps -e | grep <process ID here> and hit Enter. This will list all running processes that have that ID (will also include the grep process)
For me it turned out to be Internet Sharing enabled that prevented my MBP from sleeping.

Hi, I upgraded my OC to Windows 10 today, after the upgrade tapping and scrolling stopped working on the synaptics touchpad. the toucpad only finctions as a pointer now. for taps/Clicks i always have to use the buttons below the touchpad. It was working fine before the upgrade, the earlier OS was Windows 7 I have checked for driver updates but i get a message that the drvier is up to date.I have check the device setting and confirmed that tapping and scrolling is enabled.I have also done a device reset. Nothing solved the problem, i also did not find a relevant answer on the forums.Also, the same problem did not happen with my other HP laptop (Notebook PC) which was also upgraded to windows 10 recently.
