Curve 8520 screen isn't working, but everything else is.

All night my curve has been making the noise when you put the charger inside and pull it out.
I woke up this morning and the screen was white, but the led was still working which meant i had a text.
I pressed jut about everything and the screen wasn't changing so I took the battery out for 30 seconds, put it back in, waited for the device to re-boot and it turned on, the keyboard lit up, the LED was working and it made the noise when it was turned on.
I tried this process again but with the charger plugged in and it still wasn't working.
If anyone knows how to resolve this it would be a great help

If you think your Battery it OK then try Updating or reloading your device software to rule out any software issue.Have a look at on how to perform a clean reload of device software :

Ipod dial not working - but everything else is fine

I tried resetting ipod (menu & center button)thinking this might help - but the dial still isn't working for volume or for scrolling - it just acts like it is dead. any advice?

Screen isn't working, but the ipod does!

the screen is totally black with a lime green line and a blue line next to it on the left side.
i click menu a lot..scroll down four times and press the center button to shuffle my music.
to switch to the next song i have to press the next button like 5 times.
i can use it fine that way, but i cant view anything at all.
is there anyway i can fix the screen?
its not cracked, broken or leaking.

I have the old Classic Nano Ipod and I was having the same problem. The display had actually frozen on the song that had been playing. I could fast forward to the next song and rewind to the previous song, but I could not see what was happening. I tried what you said, *+"Try a reset (flip the hold switch on and off, then hold the Menu and Center buttons one finger on one button, one on the other for 6-8 seconds http://the Apple logo should appear, but this might not be an option for you.)"+ It worked!! My classic Ipod Nano display is working just fine now. I guess I can cancel my appoint with the "Genius" at the Apple Store. You're awesom!! Thanks So Much!!

Iphone 3gs- phone quit working, but everything else works, put sim card in another phone and works fine, need help

iphone 3gs can not talk on or recieve calls, but every thing works, apps., music, internet, ect.. put sim card in another phone and able to call and recieve calls, what happened.

Reset phone - press both home and sleep/wake buttons until the Apple logo appears in 10-15 seconds.
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

Lately ive been having a strange problem, i have a dell dimenson 4600 desktop pc and connect to the internet using wusb54g wireless router that gets a wireless signal from my roomates room which is no more than 15 feet away. When i reboot it takes over 10 minutes to just connect to it but that isnt that major of an issue as the other things its doing. Sometimes aim and things like that will work and it will say im connected to the wireless network with either a very good or excellent connection. However, when i open my web browser i get a page cannot be displayed error or the site times out to every site. I have both internet explorer and firefox.
It worked fine for over a year and now...dunno whats wrong
Heres what i have tried
Spybot
Adaware
Advanaced System Optimizer
Ewido Antio Spyware
Reinstalling the router software 3 times
Clean installing windows xp and reinstalling all the windows updates and service pack 2
winsockxpfix.exe
ipconfig /release /renew /flushdns
Repairing the connectin by right clicking it in network connections
Unplugging repluggig both routers(sometimes works just for a little while though)
Any ideas? Its really getting me mad.

you will have to do some troubleshooting to see where the problem lies. The next time your web browser doesn't load a page, go to a command prompt (click start go to run type:command) inside the black box type:
ping yahoo.com
you should see some results like this

Youtube sound not working, but everything else is ok

I have an extermely annoying problem with my iMac in that it will not play sound on any Youtube clips.   I have tried all other websites and they are fine. I have googled this and this is what I have done, but still doesn't work.   I have this problem on Safari and Chrome.
removed/reinstalled Flash (did this for internal Chrome, no luck)
checked in Midi the Khz is 44100. even changed it to something else and back again
reset NVRAM
logged in as another user
booted from an external disk with completely clean install
Even reset my router in case it was some wierd networking issue (unlikely, but desperate)
Youtube via browser on my ipad works fine.
I am absolutely baffled and don't know what to do.
Any suggestions?

     Press the "Delete All" button
     Install Adobe Flash Player.

    Quit Safari.
    Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.

My iPhone 4 screen has stopped functioning normally, the screen is just blank but everything else is fine. Help!

I can receive calls and messages but cannot see them unless I do a screen shot then load it onto my computer. I have tried turning it off then on and also resetting it without success. It seems to be fully functioning apart from the screen being off. Can anyone help?

Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like the screen is black. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help you resolve or isolate the issue.
iPhone: Hardware troubleshooting
Display has no backlight or dark screen
Toggle the ringer switch to see if the unit vibrates. If it does, it could be that iPhone is getting power, but is not displaying any image.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
While connected to the iPhone charger, try to reset the iPhone.
If the low-battery screen appears, charge the iPhone.

Guest access on E2500 not working but everything else is fine.

HI.. I did not use the CD to set up, and instead set this router up manually. We are using this router right now as a hotspot only.. and all is good. I can see both new networks and the WIFI laptops are talking no problem. Only issue I have is that guest access is not working - by that I mean it can't get out on the internet. I can see it as available and connect to it. Guest access and SSID broadcast are both enabled obviously.
Is there something special guests have to type into a browser? Or did I need to use the CD? (I read on a google search that cisco connect on the CD must be used?) Any help very much appreciated!

On my iPhone, my home button and sleep button won't work but everything else is fine.

It's just fustrating.

It is probably broken, but wait and see, it takes several days to dry out. If it does start working that may only be temporary as the iPhone corrodes.

I understand that you are having issues with your HP 2310m monitor going blank and/or flickering. I am providing you with some steps you can try below:
Step 1. Unplug the power cord from the back of the monitor and the wall
Step 2. Hold the power button down for at least one minute
Step 3. Plug the power cord back into the monitor and then into the wall outlet (not a power bar or surge protector)
Step 4. Press the Menu button on the monitor
Step 5. Navigate to the Factory Reset option and select it
