Curve boots up but stick on loading screen

HELP.
I have rebooted & wiped the curve ended up having to go into SAFE MODE to accept something, now the phone will power on to the loading screen but that is it.
The bar scrolls across to the right, gets all the way over and then stops.  The phone does nothing.
Have tried rebooting into SAFE MODE again but it won't even let me do that now.
The phone then goes into standby mode, ie. the screen goes blank until I press a button which results in the loading screen appearing again.
Can anyone help please.
Thanks

Unable to use free version regardless of browser on any machine. I login with adobe id but then the loading screen just hangs. can't get any further - Tried all suggestions like clearing browser caches but no change.
Got a couple of projects i wanted to try this on and if the software works I will probably take a subscription but considering this isn't working at all will look elsewhere.
Also - adobe live chat support is useless.

  • Problems with applications and sticking on loading screen upon boot up

    Hello,
So a problem arose with my GS4 beginning yesterday afternoon.  I was using my phone to check game times for the ncaa basketball tournament on google chrome when the application suddenly crashed.  I tried to re-open the browser and after doing so the phone almost immediately closed it again.  I thought perhaps it was just a problem with the program so tried out some other applications on my phone.  They all exhibited the same behavior (opened, immediately closed).  In an attempt to resolve this, I restarted the phone and then ran into another problem.  Upon restart, my phone loaded up until the Verizon loading screen and would not advance further.  After roughly 10 minutes, I removed the battery from the phone to kill the power, waited ~1 minute, re installed the battery, and attempted to start the device back up.  Again it could make go further in the boot up sequence than the Verizon screen.  I was unable to correct this problem unless I removed the battery, re installed it, plugged the phone into a charger, and then turned the phone on.  This issue is persisting today - applications are still crashing and I am unable to use my phone for anything other than a large watch - and it's rather frustrating.  I thought perhaps it was battery issue, so plugged the phone in and tried to load an application with no success.
So... do I have a battery issue?  Software?  Hardware?
    Best regards.

Have you tried the battery removal and key pressing I suggested above?
The original poster said they didn't want to reload the OS but ultimately, that is the course of action to follow. If you want to do that then

  • Osx boots up but "hangs" at desktop screen

I recently upgraded osx to 10.5 about 4 weeks ago without any issues. Until today where I boot up my machine, boot up gets past the apple logo but once the desktop screen is loaded the machine gets stuck. None of my folders are visible on the screen and the machine appears to repeatedly attempt to load up the desktop but continues in that cycle. I am not able to open the disk tray (initially I thought a re-install might help). At present there is no way to use my mac
Any ideas on what this might be and how I can rectify it?
I hope that is sufficient info for starters
    Thanks
    Adam

    Hi Adam,
The tray should open if you hold the mouse button down at bootup, if you also hold the Option/alt key down you should get the boot manafer to dhoose boot device.
It sounds like some Disk Corruption.
    "Try Disk Utility
    1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
    2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
    3. Click the First Aid tab.
    4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
    5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106214
Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)

  • T60 will not boot - lights, but nothing on the screen, no beeps

    Hey everyone,
My approximately 4 year old (and thus out of warranty) T60 is having trouble booting. Sometimes, but not always, when I press the power button I get the lights turning on, but then all but the power (Z in a circle) indicator and the battery (if I have it in - I've tried it with and without) and the power cord (if that's plugged in- again, tried every way) lights stay on. Here's a video of exactly what's happening (made by someone else):
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pm4Lklr6-Rk
It just sits there and nothing comes up.
I've tried the following and still had trouble booting:
Removing each of the two RAM modules (I have a 512 and a 2gig stick) - I would leave one in so that it would work, but I tried it with each.
    Removing the hard drive
    Removing the optical drive
I also opening it up to see what I could see, but there are no clearly loose connectors. The fan starts just fine, but then turns off shortly after I press the power button. The harddrive also seems to spin up, but the indicator doesn't flash for very long before the lights return to the configuration I mentioned above. There are as far as I know no beeps, though I had beeps disabled in Windows (not sure if that matters at the POST level though).
However, it does sometimes boot up. I can't tell what exactly makes it work sometimes and other times not. When it does boot, it is extremely stable and works just fine. I'm tempted to just leave it on 24/7, but I'm on vacation and will have to turn it off at least to get through airport security.
The last time, I tried holding the power button down for about a minute with all power sources disconnected, and it did boot up, but that may have been coincidence.
I've seen some threads that make it seem like perhaps this problem might be related to the USB ports (http://forum.lenovo.com/t5/T400-T500-and-newer-T-series/T400-won-t-boot-can-t-access-BIOS/td-p/20280... but visual inspection doesn't reveal anything wrong with them.
Any ideas? I'm leaving it on as long as I can now, but I can play more with turning it off and trying things once I get back home in a few days. It's frustrating, since once I get it to start up, it's more or less solid and Windows and all peripherals seem to run as expected.
    Thanks!

See if you can run these.
    Run fsck.
    1. Reboot/Startup holding your Command-S key down.
    2. At the command line type the following and hit 'Return.'
    /sbin/fsck -fy
    3. After it has check/repaired your disk, type 'reboot' and hit 'Return' again. Unit will bootup normally
    ======
Do an Open Firmware reset: Hold the CommandOption+OF keys during startup. At the '>' prompt type:
    reset-nvram
    Return
    set-defaults
    Return
    reset-all
    Return

  • Hi i have a powertowerpro 225  built in1996 its been in storage for 12 yrs was working fine  then  it boots up but no image on screen  help  thank u

Its a Mac clone that was sold 4 to 2 yrs  I have 2of them and both have the same problem  can't get them on the screen  and any help would b nice  thank u.

    Helmut,
What happens if you connect headphones or external speakers? Can the startup sound be heard then? Otherwise, there could be a problem on the logic board (this may be merely audio-related, or something more fundamental).
Even if a startup sound cannot be heard, nor anything seen on the screen, does the hard drive appear to be active (clicking, as during a normal startup sequence) after the computer has been turned on?
Have you tried using a magnifying glass to inspect the video and logic boards inside the computer (looking for leaking/bulging/discoloured/cracked electronic components)? Leaking electrolytic capacitors can be the cause of various problems.
You indicated that it is a 14" Mac monitor. Normally, that would mean a DB-15 plug (with 15 pins in two rows). Under your Older Hardware topic (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6856695), you mentioned that the plug only had 10 of 15 pins. It is not possible to say whether or not the ten pins are sufficient without knowing their exact positions. Please note that special sense codes were used in order to tell Macintosh computers the type of monitor connected (you may want to search for "Sense Lines" at https://developer.apple.com/legacy/library/navigation/ for further information).
Could you borrow an older (CRT) PC monitor with a VGA plug (HD-15/DE-15, with 15 pins in three rows) just for a test?

  • Blue screen on startup- only application accessible is iTunes by hitting f8 osx 10.6.8, Safe booting works but otherwise no login screen comes in, is this maybe a popad malware thing? what should I do

when starting up I get a blue screen with no dock, I can access some application by hitting f8 which opens iTunes, from there i use the apple icon in upperleft to go to recent items.  There is trouble printing from application or web sites.  IF this is a malware thing what should i try to fix it?

Perhaps however what we need is a EtreCheck report of the system if you can. Please download and post your EtreCheck report and we can then look for obvious issues.

  • Help! My Tour won't boot, gets stuck on loading screen.

Earlier today, while my tour was charging it randomly rebooted itself, but it wouldn't boot all the way - the load screen froze about 2/3 of the way through and then didn't do anything (for like 15 minutes) I did both a hard and soft reset, but the phone still won't boot past that point. Because it won't boot, I can't connect it to the computer to reinstall the OS or anything.

    Hi there,
Unfortunately it sounds like you might have what is called a bricked or "nuked" BlackBerry.  There are ways to fix this, but it can take a couple of extra steps.
Start off by downloading the OS from your carrier to your computer.  You can find your carrier's BlackBerry download site here: http://us.blackberry.com/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp.  Once you've downloaded the OS for your device, install it to your computer.
Next, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\Apploader and open the Loader.exe file (note: if you have a 32-bit OS, there will not be an (x86) after Program Files).  Click Next to go to the Communication Port Selection page.  Now here is where you need to watch carefully and be on the ball to ensure it works.
Take your battery out of the your BlackBerry and plug your device into your computer.  As soon as you see USB-PIN:UNKNOWN in the connection spot, click Next.  If you miss it, don't worry, just unplug the device and plug it back in again to start the boot cycle again.  Once you've made it to the next page, you should be good to go to reload the OS.  At this point in time, you can also reinsert the battery.
Then just follow the steps to reload the OS and you should be set.  As a warning though, if you have not recently backed up your device, there is a chance that you may lose the data on the device.
Good luck and let us know if you have any other questions.
If you want to thank someone for their comment, do so by clicking the Thumbs Up icon.
If your issue is resolved, don't forget to click the Solution button on the resolution!

  • Imac freezing during star craft 2 load screen

iMac has been freezing at the load screen of SC2.  It usually happens after I've been binge playing for 3-4 consecutive hours.  I can still skype and talk to people if I've had it up and running before the freeze.  Skype continues to work, but then SC2 load screen comes up and I can't navigate or shrink the window to be able to do anything else.
I'm wondering if it's overheating right around the 4 hour mark?  And if this is normal for an iMac?

Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
