CUSLNTRTO_ADDIN for SNP

I have created an implementation CUSLNTRTO_ADDIN method CHANGE_OPERATION.
I put a breakpoint inside the method. If I create an integration model for PDS PDS Type PP/DS, the method stops, and PDS is correctly updated in APO.
On the other side, if I create the IM for PDS Tpy SNP, the method does not stop, and data are not updated in APO for SNO.
Any help?

Hi Experts,
I would like to bring 'maintenance orders' as a new requirement category for SNP planning. These orders are to be considered as demand element (using a new LC order keyfigure). Customized Order type in order category 30 are available for these maintenance orders, which is required to be mapped in to a new requirement ATP category in APO. Please guide me with right procedure.

But for our benefit, can you share in more detail, how did you manage to do it?
you stated that you created a new order category ''Order Reservation Withdrawable'', which lets say is ZZ. and you must have added this category to the category group which is assigned to your dependent demand key figure.
But can you share how did you ensure that the order reservations for maintenance orders that you created in R/3 managed to flow to this order category and not to some other category?
Appreciate if you could explain in a bit more detail.

Does T-Lane Duration take priority over Quota Arrangement for SNP Heuristics?

Hi,
I have the following scenario setup for SNP Heuristics.
Source : S1, S2
Destination : D0
T-Lanes are All Product valid from years 2012 - 9999
T-Lane : S1 -> D0 : 0hr Duration
T-Lane : S2 -> D0 : 144 hr Duration
Inbound Quota Arrangements at D0 - 100% to Partner Location S2 ( no quota for source S1)
When I run Location Heuristic in Data View for a demand 2 days from current day, it is sourcing from S1 even though I have 100% Quota arrangement to source it from S2. Is this correct?

The quota has priority, so S2 should be determined.
This is what I would do:
I would check again than the Quota is well mainatined: check the validity period, double check the quota is 100% for S2. You could even recreate the Quota again.
Check MAT1 for your Material in all the locations S1 & S2.
Check that your t-lane S2 --> D0 is ok.. not blocked.
Try to create an Transport Requisitions manually in RRP3 at location D0 and chose source S2.
If after point 4 you can create manually teh requisition assigning S2, then something is wrong with your Quota. In this case check these threads:

Use of BADI for SNP capacity levelling

I am using APO V5.1.
I'm interested in using the Business Add in (BADI) for SNP capacity levelling.
Can anyone tell me which BADI this is, and the possible functionality it can provide?

To give you a couple of examples of what we use the BADi for:
1) Based on a product characteristic, the levelling will only level certain products. E.g. you could set a characteristic to mark products for internal use versus export use and then level the internal requirements first.
2) The levelling will only level planned production for highlighted orders in the data view.

Setting immediate transfer for SNP

Hi,
In SPRO, Advanced Planning and Optimization>Supply Chain Planning>Supply Network Planning (SNP)>Basic Settings>Configure Transfer to OLTP Systems, we set the parameter for transfer to SAP.
We usually set the data transfer to SAP for SNP as periodic transfer. We can also set it to immediate.
Is there a specific reason why it is set to "preiodic" ll the time? What happens if we set it to immediate? Does it hurt transferring SNP order immediately? we push them to R/3 using C5 any way...

You can set either immediate or periodic depending upon your client requirement. If the setting is immediate, as and when changes are happened in the system, the results will be published online whereas in case of periodic setting, the changes will be done in a controlled way to R/3 by pushing mechanism via C5. In both the ways, the data transfer is effective to R/3 whereas in immediate, the user gets frequent variation in data.

do i need to have sales bom for SNP PDS is it mandatory ,
or just normal production bom is enough for having both snp and ppds Product data structure

PDS for SNP in inactive version

Hi all!
Does anybody knows how can I transfer a PDS for SNP in an inactive version?

PDS is always created in APO in active model (000) only. You cannot maintain/change PDS in APO. Once transferred, PDS should be available for all existing versions in 000 model. Try using it in any version while executing your planning run and I'm sure the PDS will be selected as a source of supply in any of the valid versions.
If you still have any issues, then /SAPAPO/VERSION_COPY_TRANS should help you to copy the PDS from 000 to any other versions.

Source of Supply for SNP Planned Order

Hi All,
I have a situation where we are feeding SNP planned orders using /sapapo/lcin (Time series to Order Network). When we use this transaction SNP planned orders are created in SNP but PDS is not attached to such orders. I would like to know how can I get PDSs attached to SNP planned orders created?

PDS is active & Valid also SNP planned order indicator is set. Just to clarify that planned orders are not created by SNP. We are creating planned orders using /sapapo/lcin (Time series to Order Network) transaction.

Help Abap Function Module using APO for SNP

Why does not this function I created abap. To use a macro in SNP.
My case is as follows. For parameters Product, Location, I get this value / SAPAPO/MATLOC-AT105, representing a value in inventory.
I created the function abap. When tested in the SNP planning folder with macro. Generates a DUMP ERROR

WORK FLOW & PROCEDURE FOR FOR SNP CAPACITY LEVELLING HEURISTICS RUN

Dear Sir / Madam,
Currently, we are taking only SNP Heuristics Run and the output viz. planned stock transfer requisitions are being passed to PPDS as such. But now we feel, SNP capacity leveling can play a vital role in getting more fine tuned results from PPDS. So, We wants to start using the SNP Capacity leveling run. We shall like to know the work flow / procedure for taking the SNP capacity level run i.e. what inputs should be properly reviewed before taking the SNP capacity level run and what shall be its output..? Kindly let us know the procedure / work flow for taking the SNP Capacity Levelling Run.

Hi Sanjeev,
as in any other module, correct master will play a key role in getting effective results in capacity levelling. you will need to check the following master data while setting the system for capacity levelling :
Consistency in BOM in R/3 and PPM/PDS
Consistency in Routing in R/3 and PPM/PDS - the actual through put on the shop floor should be the same as that in the routing and in the PPM/PDS. unless this is in sync, no amount of levelling can return good results.
Maintenance of shift - again as present in the shop floor.
you can provide the dump of the above master data and ask the shop floor engineers to validate the data as it exists in the ssytem. you can do the consistency check between R/3 and APO yourself using queries. Once they have validated this master data and the the actual master data reflects in your system, i think, the job is more than 50 % complete.
also you need to check the lot sizes, rounding profiles, and period factor, becasue all three combined play a major role in giving good or better results after levelling.
you may also check at what level you want to run the levelling. whther the bottleneck is at the finished component level, or 2nd level, etc. you may check whther you have discrete manufacuring or REM and if you really want to levelling on REM order.
then you need to analyse, what is the lengh of horizon you want to run the capacity leveling on. sometimes it makes no sense to run on the entire horizon because if capcities are already overlaoded, you will not achieve the desired results.
hence depending upon the level of your understanding and comfort of the planner (who will be using this result), the horizon can be increased grdually.
if you are starting to implemement capcity levelling, you can sumulate runs and show the results to the planner and check if the standard capacity heursitics satisfies their requirement. else you can go for custom requirement.
you will also have to decide on the stratagies, priorities,etc based on the business requirement.
i think the above should give some starting direction to implement capcaity levelling in your system.

Custom Disaggregation for SNP

Hi,
We are doing Aggregated Planning in SNP.
We are facing some issues in disaggregation of Header Products to Sub products production orders.
Letu2019s say we have 3 sub products and a header product.
Forecast is aggregated to header level and header product production order is created which is covering x days forecast of Header product.
When we disaggregate Header product planned order to Sub products and if Sub product 3 doesnu2019t have any forecast for x days (it has forecast after x days);it should not create planned order of sub product 3.
Only Sub product 1 and 2u2019s planned orders to be created.
I would like to know how can perform custom disaggregation in SNP?
Is there any BADI?

Can't create PPM plant for SNP usage from PP/DS

Hi All,
I can't create SNP plan from PP/DS in PPM via SAPAPO/SCC03 and further Goto, SNP PPM generation.
The error message is "order has no activities" Check your master data (PPM or iPPE). Message number /SAPAPO/OM082.
Need help.

Hi,
1. Tcode /SAPAPO/OO_PPM_CONV.Enter Product an location and execute.
2. Create SNP name.
3.Select the line item, click on mass date change,enter today's date ,flag the PPM for conversion and save.
4.Select Goto----> Genrerate.Inthe initial screen enter the start date of the generation period,Bucket size, typical order size and Maximum no of modes and priority.
5.Alternatively you can do this step 4 in tcode /SAPAPO/OO_PPM_CONV_310 after flagging the PPM directly in this tcode.
6. Genrerate the SNP PPM.
Note : Execute /SAPAPO/SCC03 and enter Loc Product and Usage P and execute and enter . You will have the PPDS PPM screen.
If you want to have SNPPPM enter Usage as S.
