Custom button template

Hello
I'm looking the way to change the color of a template based button, in example "Button, Alternative 3", or create a new template as I like.
I know the template is based in the concatenation of three images, but I don't found these images in the theme (13 in this case) folder.
I imagine how to create and upload three images for construct a NEW button template, but I not found in the documentation how to write the right syntax of the <a href="#LINK# class=" template definition, and neither which image file represents the "t13ButtonAlternativeN" string.
Thanks,
Marcelo

Thanks, Colin
I've been viewing the example, and the excellent work of Denes, but he is using single image buttons. As I explained before, I want to use buttons displaying text, and the way to do this is different.
I said before that I don't found in the documentation (neither in the forum) instructions for build own button templates.
If somebody has some example or a documentation link (I think this is a html issue more than an Apex case), I'll appreciate.

  • 7941 Phone Button template on CCM 4.2(3)

    Hello,
    Has anyone got an overflow error message when trying to ad the customized 7941 phone template on CCM 4.2(3) devpack 3.3?
    By default, the standard 7941 phone button template come with 1 Lone and one speed dial, but our environment here need a two-lines phone. While ny other model can have several version customized button templates but no 7941. Please kindly sugest on what I should check in order to acheive adding the 7941 phone button template.

    Hello all,
    I have let the TAC engineer and Developers took care over the case and they solved this issue for me already. The problem is a missing of line 2 record in standard 7941 Phonebutton SQL table. If you already have your case opened please refer the case number 604361587 to your TAC engineer so he/she can contact the one that took care over my case for the solution.

  • DX650 - 2 questions (Exp. modules?/Button Templates)

    So it appears that either both of these are not possible or no one else knows either!  Any feeback to confirm is appreciated.  Thanks
    I have two questions that pertain to the DX650 model SIP phone.  1st) Does anyone know whether there are expansions modules that can be used for these devices?  2nd)  Is it possible to create custom button templates for these adding additional line/feature ability?  I already know you can of course alter the template.  I guess I'm asking if there's a way to get more line/feature space with either adding an expansion module if they exist or a custom button template.  Currently we have the default standard template w/ 2 line extensions, redial feature, and then space for 12 speed dials.  Much like some 79xx/89xx/99xx models, we'd like the ability for an expansion module or ability for more functions.  From what documents I've read, it doesn't appear to be possible for either.  Anyone know for sure?  Thanks for your feedback

    Hi,
    Regarding the expansion module support with DX650 i want to add that since there is no mention of expansion module support with DX650 in the datasheet and more importantly when we check the Phone configuration page of DX650 on callmanager administration webpage the 'Expansion Module Information' section is not there, which shows that there is no support for any KEM with DX650 at least for now. You can check with your Account team or open a case with PDI Helpdesk for any roadmap related queries for the same.

  • Custom Button Rendering/Disabling with Velocity Templates [SOLVED]

    I have a custom button in my application that I only want to show up on specific pages and I can't seem to figure out a EL expression that will let me disable or not render the button on the following criteria,
    - The velocity template will be installed on tableForm configured groups.
    - I only want the button to be activated/visable when in the 'Details' view for a specific row
    - When the group has insertions permitted.
    I have tried to steal some code from the *.vm files for other buttons and items used by JHeadstart, but none of the expressions seem to be solving my problem. I have always found the Data Binding through EL Expressions with the ADF very confusing to work with so any guidance would be greatly appreciated. (Is there a way to 'debug' EL expressions to see the actual data that is available to me at any given time?)
    Thanks.

  • Custom Buttons In Template Issue - Arrgh!

    Hi,
    I created a custom button in Photoshop, using the layer method specified in grayscale. I then created a custom template with six of these buttons. Then I imported a movie with embedded chapter indexes. When I drag this movie to an empty menu window and select my custom template for chapter index creation, the individual chapter video frames do not appear in the buttons, even though the text of these chapters do. The mask for the asset is set to white. If I drag an asset to the buttons, everything looks ok. What gives?.

    I found a solution. I picked an Apple (heh) motion button and created a menu template with that button. Then I dragged my custom shape over each motion button and selected Set Shape. That created the motion buttons with my desired shape. I had to adjust the size and position of the new buttons, but at least it worked. I might also have changed the buttons to drop zones without all this work, but that's for another time.

  • How to create custom button by amending template in sc and change po screen

    Hi,
    Can anybody tell the steps that How to create custom button by amending the template  in shopping cart or change purchase order screen.
    Full points for the answer.
    Edited by: shraman saha on Aug 17, 2008 6:44 PM

    Hi,
    I dont have any idea what you mean by Template for "Change Purchase Order" functionality. As far as i know there is a change button on the screen using which we go to the change mode and edit the PO.
    About your other query: you do not require to download any HTML pages. To see the templates for PO go through the following path:
    Transaction SE80 --> Internet options --> in the drop-down enter BBP_POC (for PO) --> Topic 99 --> HTML templates.
    Then look for the following templates :
    SAPLBBP_PO_UI_ITS 3000  --> for header basic data
    SAPLBBP_PO_UI_ITS 4000  --> for item overview
    SAPLBBP_PO_UI_ITS 4100  --> for item basic data
    SAPLBBP_PO_UI_ITS 2200  --> for buttons.
    Make appropriate changes to the screen and then publish it before using it. It is just like activating objects.
    Hope this helps.

  • How to add a custom button in WD screen to call a workflow in siebel?

    Hi All,
    We have a requirement to have a custom button at the summary screen(after the rule execution) "Create Opportunity", on clicking on it a new opportunity record should be created in Siebel. As we know the "Save" link calls "PolicyAutomationSaveSession" inbound web service method and saves the information in session table and we can modify the PreSession and PostSession workflows. But we are not sure how it calls the service method and where is the mapping defined.
    Can you please help me on how to add a custom button and how to invoke a workflow in siebel side to implement this requirement?
    Also is there any document which can help me to add a custom button in screen and to add the code behind the button?
    Thanks in advance!!
    Regards,

    Subhradeep,
    Closing a Web Determinations window is essentially the same as closing any HTML window. It involves javascript, which you would have to add to the Web Determinations templates.
    Essentially the javascript command to close a window is {{window.close}} or {{top.close}}
    For timing, you might be able to use the setTimeout function of Javascript (see: http://www.w3schools.com/jsref/met_win_settimeout.asp)
    At the risk of exposing exactly how bad my javascript skills are, I have attached a super-simple html fragment, a page that closes itself after 3 seconds. It may help you get started in the right direction. In general closing a window is a fairly dubious activity and is often not permitted by certain browsers. This html page at least works in Internet Explorer.
    <html>
         <head>
         <script language="JavaScript">
              setTimeout(closeMe, 3000);
              function closeMe() {
                   alert("This window will close");
                   top.close();
         </script>
         </head>
         <body><B>This window will close in three seconds</B></body>
    </html>
    {code}

  • How to create a Custom form Template..

    Hi Eperts,
    I would like to seek a help from you regarding creating a custom form template on custom BO. could you guide me where i have gone wrong in successfully creating a Print form. I am in dead need of this particular solution for a client. It is hampering my entire scenario......
    1. I had created a Custom BO and I am trying to preview the created form on the OIF screen.
    2. I had created a form on above of the custom BO. This created form and form group is activated and configured as of needed by opening it through ALD (Adobe Life Cycle Designer).
    3. I had created a BAC element with some scoping questions and activated it. After activating it i had deployed the Business configuration.
    4. my solution got updated with the created and deployed BAC elements and i had done scoping for those elements to make my created form available.
    5. I can see my form template in Form Template maitaince under Application user managment WOC. I had made it to be available for all users and published.
    6. All the above steps are done success fully with no errors.
    7. When i accessed my custom BO and tried to preview the created form i am unable to view it and i am seeing the following window.
    Could you help me out in solving this or send me across any detailed document regarding this what you had done previously.
    Thanks in advance for your valuable help...
    Regards...
    Hanu K

    It looks like system didn't identify the form template. So please check if the required configuration for "Preview" modal dialog is done properly. In the SDK documentation, refer to section "8.4.3.4 Create a Preview Button for a Print Form"
    If you have already done the steps mentioned in the section 8.4.3.4, but still facing the issue then let me know.
    Best regards,

  • Add customer button to check status screen

    hi everyone
    i'm quite new in developing srm and need your help.
    my customer wants me to put a new customer button on the check status web screen at item level which is supposed to work like the print button.
    so if i want to integrate this customer button do i have to modify the screen and html template? as far as i know there is no customer exit for this?!
    thanks in advance!

    Hi
    <u>Which SRM version are you using ?</u>
    <b>The addition of a new button for a new process means modification to standard screens, HTML templates used in the relevant Internet (Web) Services and the releavnt source code.
    Addition of button can only be done through ITS Template change.Please look in the Internet services say - BBP_BID_INV (for Bid Invitations) Or for service - BBPSC01 (shopping cart) for the exact template in whcih you want to add the button</b>
    <b>You have to define a new button in the screen and in the template. Then assign to it an OK_CODE and manage it in the PBO of the screen.</b>
    There is no BADI which can do this as this is not a SAP funtionality. You need to do a little bit of research on this to get the job done.
    <b>As a start step, You can use the BADIs - BBP_CUF_BADI and  BBP_CUF_BADI_2 to change the display from customer-defined fields to the SAP standard screen. This BAdI enables you to control whether the fields can be edited, and how they are displayed.</b>
    MODIFY_SCREEN method will Show/hide field display and restrict edit options.
    <u>For more information on BADI please go to SPRO -> BADI.
    OR View the information on BADI's.</u>

    I am setting up breakpoints in WCEM, tab JAVA EE then from menu RUN->Toggle brekpoints and then debug configuration.
    the breakpoints are in several places in  handler class BITDetailviewVCHandler class including method  downloadBITData.
    this method I am calling from BitContentview.XHTML
    <wec:commandButton  id="bdtexcel" immediate="true" actionListener="#{cc.vch.DownloadBITData}" type="submit" value="#{i18n['invoices.ui.openitems.printSelected']}"/>
    When the BIT page is loading the control stops at the breakpoint.
    but it is not stopping there  when i click the 'Excel Download' button.
    How do I get the log file. I am very new to WCEM, please guide me.
    I tried to debug the UI using Google chrome. it is giving me the following error.

  • How can I get a tooltip to show up on a custom button obj on a dashboard?

    I have added a ClearAll button object (to clear the filter criteria) on a dashboard that I am working on, and have added some text in the comments section of the properties. I can see the resulting tooltip when I hover over the button in the Client Side IR studio tool; however, when I upload the .bqy to the server and view the report in the web EPM version, the tooltip does not show. I can see the other tooltips for the buttons that were originally on the dashboard template I used, but I cannot see the one for the custom button I added. Does anyone have any ideas how I can get this to show up?
    Thanks in advance,
    Cindy

    I copied an existing clear filter object (I believe this is an image object, but not sure how to confirm) from the provided square tab sample template in Express Template.bqy. After your post, I took a second look at the object and remembered I had changed the name from picClearAll to ClearAll. I had changed the name because the button was continually disabled when navigating within the dashboard before I renamed it. I am assuming this is because the object picClearAll in the provided templates is associated with results filters. I do not have any results filters, so it was showing as disabled. I have filters on the query itself, and was hoping to use this same image on my button to clear the query filters (I put java scripting behind the button to do this).
    Another interesting thing about this is that when I change the name of the object back to picClearAll, and during runtime force the button to be enabled, I DO see the tooltip I am trying to get to work; however, as soon as I navigate or refresh the dashboard in some way, the button goes back to disabled.
    How can I get the button to be enabled (without having filters on my results), and still show my tooltip?
    I am using Hyperion version 11.1.1.3.0.956.
    Thank you for your help,
    Cindy

  • Custom Responsive Template

    Hi,
    Is it possible to create a custom responsive template? If so, how?
    Thanks in advance.

    There is another discussion thread at this moment about themes and templates: Templates vs Themes.
    Just save the theme and you'll have it in all other projects available, no need to save is as an empty project at all. I would also recommend to save the custom theme colors palette, more information here:
    Colorful 2015 with Adobe Captivate - Captivate blog
    Theme Colors - Captivate blog
    If you need more placeholders than the ones you create on the master slides, you can create a template.  All depends on your needs...read the thread under the first link. You'll see that my opinion about templates is totally different from Rick's opinion. A template has a theme as well, even if you create a template, please save that theme (and the color palette) because it is a bit more flexible that a template. A theme has three components: Object styles (with the three breakpoint view styles for each object), master slides and skin. Shapes in CP8 have also three states because they can always be used as buttons.

  • Custom button images

    Hello all,
    In CP 1, I was able to 'easily' (compared to now) create
    custom button images in fireworks then import and set their states
    (up, down, over, . .). Now, it seems to be a much more tedious
    process, and I still haven't got it to work. According to the
    documentation - you now have to use .bmps, then save the img states
    in a certain naming convention, then save them in a particular
    directory! No more browse function for each image state?!?!.
    Furthermore, you can only select 1 image - and this 1 image becomes
    becomes the image for up, down, over, etc. even though I used the
    documented naming convention 'style-preview.bmp',
    'style-playbuttonup.bmp', 'style-playbuttondown.bmp'. I must be
    missing something - it cannot be this tedious to use your own
    custom created buttons. Anyone using their own buttons with up,
    down, and over states?? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Thanks very much for this information. I'm now able to create
    navigation tabs out of custom buttons. This was much easier than
    the design template for tabs on the Captivate Exchange (
    http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/exchange/index.cfm?event=extensionDetail&loc=en_us&extid=1049 430).
    I opened one of Captivate's buttons (.bmp) from the Buttons folder
    in the Gallery folder (C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate
    2\Gallery\Buttons) into Adobe Photoshop, then I modified the
    background and font color, saved it back into the button folder
    with the naming conventions listed here. I then copied all the
    buttons as a group against a background image on every slide. The
    over, up, and down states are inherent in the buttons when you use
    the naming conventions. I'm sure it will be easy to create the tab
    shape to look like navigation tabs.
    I found some great samples here:
    http://www.alvit.de/css-showcase/css-galleries-tabs-navigation-showcase.php.

  • Custom Buttons in FlashPro/TOC Collapser

    Hello all.
    My project is a native RH 6 project (it was not imported from
    anything else), generated as FlashHelp Pro. I have two questions:
    1) is there a way to add a custom button and place it next to
    the other three at the top? I've gotten several requests for a
    "Home" button. Keep in mind I'm in FlashHelp Pro here. Yes, I know
    you can accomplish similar results with a Header Template &
    apply it to all the topics, but I wish to spare you the entire
    explanation of why that can't work all the time (you're going to
    have to trust me here). I'd prefer to know whether a custom button
    can be made or not.
    2) Is there a way of easily collapsing a TOC (I was thinking
    of maybe...a button click?) that has all it's books open and has
    become 37 meters high because of it? This is also a popular
    request. I'd like to retain the "Show Navigation Links in Topics"
    option if possible. So essentially, I want my cake and eat it too.
    Thanks in advance!
    -hpankin

    Hi hpankin
    Question here. Are you publishing your FlashHelp Pro output
    to RoboHelp Server? If not, the point of creating FlashHelp Pro
    output is moot.
    To create a button requires Flash programming skills. A rare
    breed that is. Someone that understands both Flash and RoboHelp
    skins. Good luck with that. I'm not there. I WANNA be really bad,
    but unfortunately haven't yet figured out how to cram 72 hours in a
    day.
    As for resetting the TOC, you should be able to construct a
    link that simply reloads the FlashHelp system. Once you do this,
    the TOC should start life anew.
    Cheers... Rick
