Custom dates for change request

Hi all,
we wanted to have a possibility where we can maintain several (to be defined and must be easily changeable) time estimates on change requests, for example:
u2022     Time estimated for development
u2022     Time spend for development
u2022     Estimated time left for development
I have tried to create a custom date. I got confused with the date rules and the entire procedure. I was not sure whether the procedure is correct or not.
Kindly advice on the exact procedure for creating custom dates for change request.
Regards,
Subhashini.

Hi all,
could anyone guide on this issue pls.
Regards,
Subhashini.

    Reny,
Why don't you check for the ST05, so that you can grasp some of the table names. Should be useful to you

  • Closure date for change request

    Hi experts,
I've defined a closure date in the date profile for my change requests and i want this date to be automatically populated when the ticket is closed. I've been trying to define a date rule (with ABAP) to set this date to actual date in a particular status but this doesn't work cause the rule is not executed except if you select it in the date area...
Is there another way to do so ?
    Best regards,
    stephane.

    Hi Satish,
Thanks for your answer, but i'm sorry you didn't really answer to my question. My question was : how can i set up a date that is determined when the SDCR is closed in order to store the closure date of a change request.
    best regards,
    Stéphane.

  • Smartform for change Request

    Hi,
i have a problem when a try to send long texts to a smartform. when i fill in the long texts in change request, the program won't make a notification, only a log. i would like to have the long texts in the smartform. could anybody help me with that? or is there a standard smartform for change request?
    regards Henk

K usually denotes it is a definition (header). Generally when the transports are released it creates files at the server level. For each request there could be 2 or more files created. K9xxxxx.D11 is the header file, R9xxxxx is the data file, sometimes D9xxxxx is also created for data.
    Hope it helps.

    Hi Everyone!
Even we are in the process of configuring change request management at our company, do kindly forward me the essential documents and help material too at [email protected]
However one can get a lot of help from the RKT learning maps on change request management available at SAP Service marketplace, do try out the same.
Anyone already through with the implementation, kindly forward me the step by step procedure with screenshots.

  • "Failed to retrieve data for this request" occurred when I tried to access a database.

    Hi,
I installed the sql server 2008 Client on my pc, so that I can connect to a remote sql server 2008 Enterprise cluster.  Here is what happened:
    0. Added myself as a db_owner on the two databases in the sql server cluster.
    1. On my windows xp pro, I typed the server name and log in.
    2. After I logged in, I clicked on the Databases to expand the node.  However, an error prompt says,
"Failed to retrieve data for this request. (Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Sdk.Sfc)
The server principal "DomainName\MyName" is not able to access the database "DevicelockDB" under the current security context. (.Net SqlClient Data Provider)"
I only need to connect to two databases that I created on the sql cluster.  I don't know why the DevicelockDB is needed before I can access two databases.  What does DevicelockDB do?  Do I need it for connecting to a database?  Let me know, thanks in advance.

I had the same problem , this one resolved the problem , thank you  deshmukhsdineshd

  • Failure to install SQL Server 2012 SP1 CU8/9 with a "Failed to retrieve data for this request." error

    Hi all,
Has anyone come across SQL Server 2012 SP1 CU8/9 failing to install with a “Failed to retrieve data for this request.” error.
The error is too generic for a useful search on web, for me at least anyway.
Had no problems patching a whole bunch of other servers in the same environment.
I’m no good at reading these error logs. For some reason the primary replica is referenced in the detailed log???
The CU8/9 patch has been run by both Domain Admins and local Admin with no luck.
We are trying to patch a secondary failover replica. (SharePoint 2013 is installed on this server.)
This is from the summary log:

    Hello SQL Ranger,
Thanks for posting the detailed log. I dont have exact solution for this but I can give you some hint what could be reason patch has failed below message points to fact that there is some issue with account which is used to install CU patch.Have alook at
below log.It says that when patch was trying to get details from other node in cluster it was not able to.

IMO I strongly feel it is issue with the account. Microsoft has also documented about this for SQL Server 2008 .Have a look at following links
    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-US;2000257
Please also assign privilege mentioned in below link

  • Vacancy Creation - System is Prompting for Change Request

    Hi Gurus,
I am opening the vacancy for a particular position through T Code - PO13.
At the time of saving, Pop-Up for Change Request is coming.
Kindly let me know How to remove this Pop-Up.
        Thanks a Lot in Advance.
    Regards,
    PKG

In addition to client setting (SCC4) being set at "No changes allowed", software component settings in System Change Option (SE06) should also be maintained correctly. I haven't worked in R/3 environment for years now but from what I recollect, J1ID is a CIN transaction and hence you should have a corresponding software component or namespace object in system change option that could be maintained. I suspect that your current settings say "Restricted Modifiability". You may have to change it to "modifiable".
Also, please note that settings in SE06 do not affect client-specific settings.

  • Digital signauture for Change Request Mgmt

    hi all;
I am trying to incorporate the 'Digital Signature' function in ChaRM.  The setup for digital signature or documention was simple. I am trying to incorporate the same for Change Mgmt. I did some basic configuration for Charm in ECR ( hoping it leads to the same)
    1. Defined the authorization group
    2. defined the signature strategy
    3. defined the singnature network
where i am stuck is defining the sigunature network for objectss. Not sure of the right objbect value for change request object.
    Any help/documentation/ideas/suggestions are appreciated.
    Thanks

  • How to find the workflow for Change Request for the PO's

    Hi All,
We have a PO which is pending and we can't receipt it again nor make payment on this. After checking the Approval history for that PO we found that the change request has been made. The change request was to change the amount to be paid to R39196 instead of R58237.00. We don't know where to check the workflow for the change request to identify the cause.
what i need to know is how to find the workflow for that change request? The other workflows can be checked using the po_header_id for the PO's but i am confused with the change request workflow
Your input will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance
    Rgds,
    Sonia

For 11.5.10.2 run this query to determine the keys to search on:
    Select wf_item_type, wf_item_key from APPS.po_change_requests where document_type = 'PO' and Document_num = 'put-PO-number-here'
Then use the keys returned by the query to look up the Workflow in
Workflow Administrator Web Applications / Administrator Workflow / Status Monitor
Search using the results returned in fields "Type Internal Name" and "Item Key" in Status Monitor
The query for change requests on a specific Requisition would be:
    Select wf_item_type, wf_item_key from APPS.po_change_requests where document_type = 'REQ' and Document_num = 'put-Req-number-here'

    Hi,
We have enabled checkin checkout functionality for ChaRM in solman_directory,
Once we create change request for a business process from solman_directory,e we checkout structure object for that change request into assigned maintenance project., before authorizing change request.
Once change request is completed ,we want to check in the structure object, but not getting the option  under Change Request->Transaction Type=>Customer fields->Solution->right click on assigned business process.
Also tried by changing the phases of maintence cycle but no use, all requests are remained pending in check out,
    Please suggest.
    Thanks
    Sonal
