Custom Disco Light Phone

I just finished watching an episode of The Mighty Boosh. A British comedy for those of you not in the know. Now ... a character on the show had the coolest phone I have ever seen. It had a yellow backing and on the front it was covered in disco lights.
 The closest thing I could find on google images was this:

I would love to have a phone like this or something similar. How does one go about customizing their phone like this? Is Nokia involved or are these things customized by a third party?

Nokia cannot help you to customise a phone like this but you will find various 3rd parties and non-official modding forums by searching google.

  • Appalled by the lack of customer service - NEW PHONE is DEFECTIVE

    I was leaving for California at the end of July and needed a battery for my Galaxy Note 2. There were none to be found. Verizon agreed to allow me early upgrade to the Galaxy Note 3. After daily phone conversations with customer service, I finally got my phone 4 days after it was to be shipped next day air. I had to pay $75 California tax and a $15 next day fee. I live in Massachusetts and although we are known as "Taxachusetts" - it would not have been that much if sent to my home. Needless to say, I get the phone and it is unable to hold a charge (not being used) for more than 8 hours. I called customer service at least 10 times for a matter of at least 8 hours and have no resolution. I cannot get a new phone because I am beyond the 2 week deadline - "Really?" at that point I had the phone for 3 1/2 weeks. I have a phone bill sitting on my table for $418.00 (to include equipment) - I will not pay for this phone until they send me a new one. I do not think that is unreasonable, yet, each of the 10 customer service and supervisors I spoke with told me that is not possible - no one could do that for me...Look, all I want is a phone that works and VERIZON WILL NOT ASSIST ME WITH THIS SITUATION!!! I have been a customer for a long time and am absolutely appalled by the lack of customer service!!! I am asking those on here for help.  What carrier should I move to?  Evidently Verizon does not need my service - and I am happy to share with my "Friends and Family" what a deceptive company this is.  So what do you all suggest?

     It's as my original messages states.  After taking the iPhone5 to a verizon store and being told is was a known defect with the screen, we sent the phone back and received a refurbished phone.  After weeks, we were sent an email with a picture imbedded that would not display.  It stated the phone had internal damage.  We certainly would not have returned the phone had we not been instructed to do so by Verizon or if it was damaged.  We requested to send the refurbished IPhone back - we would have rather paid for a brand new phone than $300 for a refurbished one.  We were told we could not.   Beyond this - the support was unreal.  The first person we spoke stated there was zero record of our original call to support to return the phone although our detailed calling bill showed a 35 min call.  Three calls later and no one was able to show us the damange, prove it was our phone, etc.  I'm not convinced this isnt some sham to get more money to be honest.  We've been with you for 10 years.  I do not want to pay for a refurbished phone especially when a verizon tech instructed us to send the original back due to a defect.

  • Query to get the customer's ship_to  Phone# and Fax#

    Gurus -
    Can anyone of you please help me in getting a query to shows the phoen and fax# of the Customer's ship_to Phone# and fax#
    customers--> on Address tab ( click open) On next screen click on contacts tabe for SHIP_TO row , there under the communications section, there are telephone and fax details , i want to get those details.
    Please help me in getting the query to get the fax and phone#.

    talkmobile is not a supported carrier. It's very likely that you have the same problem suffered by people who attempt to use T-Mobile in the U.S. MMS simply will NOT work because the network is not compatible with the iPhone. If you want full functionality, you will have to switch to a supported carrier.

  • No Customer Service with Phone Line

    I requested a transfer of phone service over a month ago.  No service, yet.  Two technicians have come out and diagnosed the problem as a Foreign Exchange issue stemming from a transfer of service.  I called the customer service line on 3 different occassions today, they hung up on me three times.  No explanation given.   Who do i call?

    Fellow managers around my company have been following (and often TRYING to contact me) during my ongoing Droid Charge fiasco (constant re-booting, involuntary factory resets, lack of of customer service, etc.) and as result our company placed an order with the "big orange" wireless company for ten new Galaxy SIII's today.
    It was MY decision for our previous round of employee phones to go with VZW and Droid Charge equipment . . . And it made ME look like a fool.

    Has anyone written a custom javascript solution for cell-based traffic lighting in Interactive Reports? It does not appear that the object model gives access to cell-level properties in either the pivot or OLAPquery objects although spotlighting can be applied to individual columns and rows.

    I've searched the Orcale websites and handbooks for "how to" on this issue. At the moment I know the most basic ways to customize the Disco Viewer user interface:<br>
    editing ui_config.xml, pref.txt, using url-arguments etc.
    In addition, the documentation tells me that by using xsl/html editors it is possible to create a completely customized application. I have found the xsl-files like gui_components.xsl.
    Can someone tell me where to find more information about how to get started, use of tools etc.?

  • Custom Greeting Using Phone for Recording (CUCX 9.1.1)

    I'm running Unity Connection 9.1.1 and I am attempting to record a custom greeting for one of my users. I accidently punched in the wrong number in the Media Master Control Panel when it prompted me for a number.
    I now cannot remove the stupid number to put a new one in.
    I have tried removing the user and then importing the user back into the system. The Media Master Control Panel still has the wrong number stored.
    How do I change the number so that I can use one of my IP phones to record the greeting?

    If you experience this bug and are running Java Runtime Environment 7 on your computer, just install JRE 6 and the Pop-up will show as expected.
    As a permanent solution you can upgrade your Unity Connection according to the details in the bugs description

    I am new to this so apologies if I am using wrong procedure. I have a similar concern, in that I care for a partially sighted 86 year old man who lives on his own and is virtually housebound. His phone has been out of order off and on since 18th December. Without it he cannot use his lifeline either. In spite of many phone calls, it was only yesterday that an engineer came to his house,said it seemed to be a problem with the line, then went away again! The phone worked when he left, but went completely dead again this morning. When I rang BT again, they said an engineer won't be able to come until 13th Jan. This seems a terribly long wait for a priority customer. Can you offer any advice?

  • Adding custom labels in phone numbers

    What happened to custom labeling on the phone?

    Sometimes it is missing. A friend just brought me her iPhone 6 Verizon iOS 6.0. She was trying to find the iPhone label. It was missing from the list as was the "Add Custom Label" and the "Edit" button on the top right. I did go into her "iPhone Owner" contact and if I clicked on her existing phone number, the labels were missing. When I clicked on a new phone number label, all was OK. I could not duplicate this on any of the other contacts that I tried it on. I instructed her to "turn it off and turn it back on again". If that fixes it, I'll post it here.

  • Red blinking light & phone is unresponsive (8100 Series)

    I've had my Pearl for about 18 months and it's always been fairly reliable.
    Yesterday it got wet for the first time (I suspect this may be the cause of the problem...).
    Right away, I took out the battery and SIM card, dried the phone as best I could, and put the parts in a warm area.
    Now all I'm seeing is a series of red blinking lights:
    - blink, blink, blink (3 times, a half second pause, then)
    - blink, blink (and a 2 second pause before it starts again)
    I tried using a backup battery, and I tried it with and without the SIM card.
    Does anyone know what this sequence of blinks means?
    And, more importantly, how can I save my phone?? 

    the three blinks, a pause, and two more.. don't know what the blink meant or why mine started.. I connect to computer via bluetooth and wasn't connected when it began. I came here for answers and very surprised bb doesn't have a tech rep providing help.  & phone charged full the night before..
    anyway, followed advice to disconnect from battery and reconnect in certain order while plugged into wall socket.. tried a few times with a few minutes of complete 'no power' each time. the light would sometimes flash when only the wall plug was in with no sim or battery. I gave up and left it connected to the wall socket with sim and battery in and flipped it over so I wouldn't get annoyed seeing the blink. left it for 30 minutes and it still was flashing. stuck it in my pocket went to a friend's house and checked when I got there 10 minutes later. still flashing. threw it half way across the room (carpet floor) and it booted up fine. is on now and I'm not touching it until tomorrow. 
    not suggesting anyone throw it, could break it, but it worked for me. likely in conjunction with topping up the battery. who knows. they're touchy.

    Hi and Welcome to the Community!
    Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain directly connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB, not a cradle):
    With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
    Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
    Remove the battery
    Wait 15 minutes
    Insert the battery
    Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
    This has been known to "kick start" some BBs.
    It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
    Obtain an known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
    Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
    The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem. Note carefully please that "new" and "know good" are not necessarily the same things. While rare, a "new" battery certainly could be defective. Rather, the simplest (and least costly, btw) method to conduct this test is to find someone with an identical BB who has no issues...trade batteries and see what happens.
