Custom Fields in Cost Assignment Tab

Hi,
We have a requirement of displaying a users 10 favourite cost elements in the cost assignment tab while creating a shopping cart.
To meet this requirement we want 10 rows to be displayed in the cost assignment tab. Each row will consist of the following fields:
Account category
Cost Center/WBS Element
GL Account
Check box/Boolean Field.
The user will select the check boxes or update the boolean fields of the row/s he wants to select.
To achieve this requirement we have added the fields (as per sap note 672960) to the following structures/tables:
INCL_EEW_PD_ACC_CSF
BBP_C_ACC_F
BBP_C_ACCFD.
Also added the fields in customizing (TCode SPRO) as decribed in the note.
The problem is only one each of account category, cost center/WBS Element and GL account is displayed one below the other, whereas we want 10 rows to be displayed.
How do we go about achieving this requirement. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. I'm not too sure of the release you are on, but on SRM 5.5 there are two that would be able to solve your requirement.
1) BBP_F4_READ_ON_ENTRY. Here you can set a Favourites list for Cost Centre or WBS. This means when they go to the Account assignment screen the default 'F4' list will include their 10 fav.
2) BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI. This can be used to default the account assignment rows in. It does mean they will have to remove the wrong ones, or you could set them all in with a zero percentage, and the user would have to setup the split.
My suggestion would be to use option 1. Its not quite the way you have suggested with bespoke fields, but it is quite easy for the user to use.

    Try to use screen-exit for assigning the serach help. There is one screen exit for PO ..
    Check the enhancement - MM06E005 ,
    Create project in cmod and use this enhancement.
    use the PROCESS ON VALUE-REQUEST event and  use FM 'F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST'

  • Order field in Account Assignment tab in Inquiry

    Dear All,
    What is the purpose of u2018Orderu2019 field in account assignment tab of Inquiry?
    When we are running sales pricing DP81, face the error u2018reference is incompleteu2019. So, I had to give the Order no.  If it is intended for Profitability segment, what is the importance to PS? 
    We have assigned WBS and system det. Profit centre from WBS. But, getting the error u2018Order xxxxx is a networku2019 while trying to give network no. from dropdown button.
    Is there a possibility, we can suppress the Order field.
    Also, where does (tcode) system pick the values for item category in sales pricing? Cause, the required determination exists in VOV4.

    item category  is determine from Item Catergory group in Mat master and Sales Doc Type.

  • Additional custom field on the assignments tab KO01

    Hi Geeks ,
    I have  a requirement to add a new custom field to the assignments tab of the tcode KO01. This new field is not available in the structure CI_AUFK . Is it achievable via enhancement COOPA003 ? If yes , then how ? . A <removed by moderator> response would really be appreciated.

    Proceed as follows:
        You can use the CMOD transaction to create an enhancement project for the COOPA003 enhancement.
        You can use the SE11 transaction to create the CI_AUFK structure as described above. Transfer three fields into this structure and activate it:
    Field name Data element
    ZZMATNR MATNR (Material nummer)
    ZZKUNNR KUNNR (Debitor)
    ZZTEXT30 TEXT30 (30-character text)
    It is recommended that you reactivate the COAS and AUFKV views separately.
        Copy the following objcts from the KOXM function group to the XAUF function group, using the SE80 transaction (Workbench Organizer). There, display the KOXM function group, position
    the cursor on the source object, and copy it to the corresponding target object.
    Caution
    When you copy, the target objects are overwritten. If the target objects already exist, then insert the source code for the source object into the target object.
    Object type Source Target
    Screen SAPLKOXM 0100 to SAPLXAUF 0100
    Include (Top include) LKOXMTOP to ZXAUFTOP
    Include (PBO) LKOXMF04 to  ZXAUFU04

  • Adding a custom field in IW32 Components tab

    I had a requirement to add a custom field in the "components" tab of IW32 transaction.
    I tried to find out an exit for this transaction but I haven't found any exit that fullfills this requirement.
    Please provide me some information whether there is an Exit, BAdI or any enhancement spots available to add a custom field.

  • Disable G/L Account field in Account Assignment tab of ME22N

    Hi experts,
    My requirement is to disable G/L account field in account assignment tab of ME22N. Tried using badi ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST.
    I have searched forum for the same and tried out some solutions. But was unable to disable the field.
    Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.

    Go to SHD0.
    write tcode : ME22N.
    Then write a transaction variant with Z..XYZ (Any name)
    then click on create. it will open Me22n screen.
    Then go to Account assignment category and simply come back it will record that screen.
    it will ask to give screen name just give it.
    then there is a chk box for OUTPUT ONLY. click that for GL Account.
    and save it and come to SHD0 screen.
    then in STANDARD VARIANT tab, activate that transaction variant u created.
    Now chk tcode ME22N. it will reflect.
    REMEMBER: after transporting to Quality or Production server, u have to activate this variant manually.Otherwise it will not reflect.

  • Purchase Contract Overview Tab Custom fields showing in Header Tab

    Hi Team,
    I have added Custom Fields in Contract Overview Tab using Structure called  /SAPSARM/S_CLL_STR_HEADER in veiw level.
    In SPRO Metadata level i have added append structure in  INCL_EEW_PD_HEADER_CSF_CTR.
    Path is--> Extensions and Field Controls --->Define Customer Fields on Header Level --> append for Customer Fields on Contract Header.
    But custom fields are showing in Overview Tab as well as Header Tab. Here in Webdynpro View level--> Contract Overview Tab & Header Tab both are using same structure called  /SAPSARM/S_CLL_STR_HEADER .
    Can some one suggest, how can i restrict custom fields in Header Tab, which are not required.

      If i follow the process described by you, i am losing fields in Overview tab as well as Header Tab.
      but i have to hide fields only in Header tab, but should be visible in Overview.
      Please share some ideas.

    For BADI's,
    1)goto to tcode SE24 give the CL_EXITHANDLER and display and then double click on the GET_INSTANCE
    keep Break point at this location 'call method cl_exithandler=>get_class_name_by_interface'
    then the tcode it will trigger there and we can debugg there we can find badi'for that tcode and then remove the break point.
    2)Goto to tcode->status->program name->double click on that program will display's
    then  press crtl+F then cl_exithandler

  • Custom Field in Account Assignment with search help functionality..

      I have added a custom field(Profit Center) in account assignment frame which is having search help also attached..
      the data for search help read from R/3.. When i click the search help in WEB , I got an error message saying that 'No input help available ( Search help PRCTR_EMPTY is empty )
      Any one have found this kind if issue?

    You can create a custom search help (simialar to R/3 srch help for profit center) and create a corresponding search help exit for this purpose.
    You need to call the R/3 table from SRM to get the required data and then map the data in to the search help fields.

  • Custom field in PO header tab and its editable status

    Hi All,
    I have added an input field in the PO header (Customer Data) tab.
    The same field has been appended in the EKKO table.
    The update as per user's entry in PO is getting done in database table.
    The field will get grayed out for ME23N tcode and will be editable for ME21N and ME22N.
    The logic has been written in the PBO section.
    Now, within the tcode ME23N, user has option to get into change mode by pressing F7.
    Once user clicks F7, the PO gets into change mode, but the custom field will be still in uneditable mode itself.
    There are couple of other custom fields are in the same tab. They get into change mode with F7, but this alone remains un editable.
    How to make it editable in this scenario???

    HI Pavan,
    so only one custom field will not update in update mode after clicking f7 , so what happend exactally when user clciks on f7 the field properties are changed in to editable mode, in module pool program we can change field properties using internal table SCREEN , so loop the screen check this input field properties , like
    loop at screen .
    if screen-name = 'custom_field'.
    input = 'x'.
    endif.
    endloop.

  • Adding custom fields to notifications-approval tab alv grid

    Transaction IW21 - Create PM Notifications.
    on the Approval Tab - there is an ALV grid that contains lots of fields. I know that i can click on the upper right hand corner and modifiy the layout by hidding fields. I want to add some custom fields to this grid.
    I added my fields to view QMSM and now when I look at the database table using SE16 - i can see my new fields.
    But how do I add them to this ALV grid?

    I have read SAP OSS NOTE:  586523 Customer-defined fields in list editing. This note helped me add these same fields to many of the standard reporting transactions. IQS8, IW28, IW29, IW38, IW39
    I added my fields to
    QMEL - Quality Notification
    RIHQMEL_LIST - Display structure reporting for QMEL
    RQMQMEL - Quality notification - header data
    RQMQMSM - Quality notification - measures (reporting)
    Then i ran SAP program BALVBUFDEL. This program refreshs the alv buffer. This was very cool in that it allows us to access and report on all of my custom fields thru the standard reporting transactions!
    I thought this same logic might work for transaction IW21. I found the structure used by the approval tab alv program, QMSM,  and created an append structure, ZAQMSM with my fields - ran the balvbufdel program to refresh the alv buffers - but i still can not see my fields in the approval tab. I believe that there must be a way to do this - i will keep trying different things and read thru move OSS notes. If you have any sugestions or ideas - they would be greatly appreciated.

    I have to develop some custom fields in tcode VA01 at header level in addtional data B tab. I know that i can use access key and develop the screen 8309 of program SAPMV45A and for that i have to provide access key. But i dont want to use access key.

    I don't know other solution. Provide a key in my opinion is not a problem. You must do it when create your own VOFM subroutines in your customer range number. if your boss or your client has doubts, ask him/her to see the SAP Note 381348 - Using user exit, customer exit, VOFM in SD, when it says:
    At the beginning of the R/3 development the SAP Basis did not offer
    technologies for exits yet, nevertheless many customers wanted to implement
    their own functions, checks, and so on. Thus, in the SD area, includes were
    delivered like, for example, MV45AFZZ. This include contains some empty
    FORM routines (user exits) to which you can go from the respective
    processing programs.
    and
    Changes to user exits in SD are MODIFICATIONS,
    since the original of an object belongs to SAP (thus when you change a user
    exit an SSCR registration is also required).
    Why this exits belongs to SAP, see Note 16466 - Customer name range for SAP objects.
