Custom Header for Template in Pages 5.0.1

I am using Pages 5.0.1 and am trying to customize the "Project Proposal" template. The textbox that says "Company Name" does not carry over onto successive pages. Is it possible to have the textbox carry over onto successive pages like the borderlines do? Is it also possible to have it where you only have to type in the text once?

Invalid path? What are you doing? Writing the report output to an invalid directory?
Where are your terms and conditions? It would be very easy just to put them in a database table and select them in your report query.

Custom fields for ROS initial page in BSP application

Hi,
We want to add some more customer fields in ROS initial page, for example TIN number. We have added a field to ZZTIN in the include CI_CUF_REQ_FIELDS of structure ROS_CUF_REQ_FIELDS and also implemented BAdI ROS_REQ_CUF. After adding custom codes in BSP application ROS_SELF_REG under page u201Caddress.htmu201D we are able to see this field in the initial registration page.
Now the question is WE ARE UNABLE TO KNOW HOW TO STORE THE VALUE ENTERED HERE. We are facing below issues.
(1)     If we try to input ZZTIN to structure u201Cgs_address u201C it is asking us to add custom fields here also.
(2)      But when we tried to append ZZTIN to structure BAPIBUS1006_ADDRESS, it is not allowing to activate it.
(3)     We have also appended ZZTIN to ADRC table. How can we input to ADRC table from here?

Thanks for the reponse. Could not get what do you menat by "core mod", did you meant you created a separate table with key field business partner id... Can you just elaborate?
However we would prefer to add a custom filed in the standard strcucure itself.. both type suggetions are welcome....

How to change the font size of the header for a login page

I am using theme 15. I want the header of my login page have a larger font size. Can anybody tell me how to do that?
In HTML Header I put text like

In HTML Header I put textDid you mean Page Header Text? It wouldn't have done much of anything at all in the HTML Header...

How do I overwrite the style sheet? I am wondering if I change the default style sheet, does that also affect the other pages, which is not what I want. In that case you can just include the CSS inline, which will also get round the universal selector issue. You are also recommended to use a semantic HTML element instead of deprecated presentational elements like <center> and <font>. Assuming this text is the primary heading on the page, use <h1>:

Include report header for every new page.

Hi expert,
I have create a report with two buttons, 'previous page' and 'next page'. when i click the buttons, my report will go to another new page. I am using NEW-PAGE in my report.
My problem now is, how can i include TOP-OF-PAGE for every new page in my report? When i click on the button, the TOP-OF-PAGE will not trigger by my report.
Pls advise how to solve it.

top-of-page will get triggered in spool request only when u run in background.

Variable field in Header for every new page

Hi Friends.
I am printing a new page on every new material no encountered . At the same time the HEADER has a field called Container name which is different for each material so this header field needs to be update each time when a new page is called to print .
How to handle this ? Please advise .
In my z calling program I am using this logic .
If old_matnr <> new_matnr
PERFORM PRINT USING 'MAIN' 'NEW_PAGE'.

If you have created a seperate window for header then you cant pass a changing field . Instead keep that header window in the main window that will serve your purpose.
you need to put the condition
if &page& eq '1'.
header code.
endif.

How to set custom shortcuts for Styles in Pages 5.1?

I just updated Pages to version 5.1. It said, that it will bring back the feature where you can use different shortcuts for specific styles. How can you do that? Anyone figured it out yet?

Custom Layout for Web Page Composer

Hi everybody,
I'm tring to follow a guide, to create a custom layout for the web page composer.

I builded the portal project and I deployed it on the portal.
Actualy i can see and select my custom layout and i can drop the element on the container from the page builder, but, when i save the content I can't see any elements anymore.
If I publish the page I see my custom Layout... but empty, without any paragraph or article.
Do u have any idea on why this could appen ?

i'm new to jsf
i use jdeveloper 10
i want to use a toolbar and a menubar as a header for all my pages
i want to use it as a user control or a library that i call from any page
can i put my components in a tag library
or how i behave

Question about TextEdit. How do i add a custom header to a multipage document? For example, "Smith, page 2", "Smith, page 3', etc. I can do it in Microsoft Word, but cant figure out how in TextEdit.

How do i add custom headers to a multipage document in TextEdit? i need to add a custom header in upper right of page, for example: "Smith, page 2", "Smith, page 3" etc. The add header setting in Textedit file-print only adds date : time in upper right, with "Page 1 of 3" on bottom right.

Can not create template based page with customized page type.

I built a customized page type (with persepective attribute) and wanted to build pages with this type. If the new pages do not based on any template, it works fine. However, if I wanted to use a template, the page type was set back to "standard"!
Steps to reproduce it:
1. create a new page type - test page type.
2. create a new template = test template.
3. create a new page - test page.
3.1 choose the page type to be "test page type"
3.2 fill in the form including the new attribute info.
3.2 choose the page template to be 'test template"
3.3 click finish
4. click the properties of "test page", it shows that the page type is "standard" and the new attribute information is gone!
If in step 3.2, no template is chosen, the properties of the new page shows the page type is "test page type".
I tried to find a workaround.
1. create a page with "test page type".
2. covert the new page to template.
I got this error message:
Error while copying page. (WWC-44262)
(WWC-00000)
Looks like customized page type and template can not coexist. Is this a bug?

How long should the upgrade take? And should it be attempted on a production (infrastructure on machine 1/middle-tier on machine 2) Windows 2000 architecture? Or should be wait for 9.0.4? Or ... should I ask this in a TAR? Thanks!

If it's a small site - you could use templates - have all the
common
code in the template.
But rather better to use service side includes ( SSI ) to
contain the
common items such as top banners, navigation, footers etc
use Dw's help facility - search for Templates and server side
