Custom info cube.

Hi,
I am working on custom info cube. This is a copy of 0FIAR_C03 cube.
I this I want to take Net due date field. This field is not directly available so we need to do calculation on Payment Terms (ZTERM-BSID) and Baseline Date (ZFBDT-SID). Also I want to take in account non working days. From where will I get this??? Also what is the logic to perform this calulations in BW?

Hi Sri,
As per what you had said, this custom cube is a Copy of the standard cube 0FIAR_C03.
As i chkd this standard cube it has an InfoObject 0NETDUEDATE (Due Date for Net Payment) Plz check whether that suffices your need.
Can you clear what you mean by "taking into Account non working days.?"

If you have the name of the Infocube. Go to RSA1 transaction. Selecct Infoproviders in the left pane. Click on Find--> enter the cube name you want to search
Standard cube starts with 0(zero), whereas Customized cube starts with Z.
2. How to implement in dev. If standard info cube is not exactly suitable then what to do means can u make changes to standard info cube(I hope it wont possible)
I dont think you ca make changes to standard cubes. If you want to make any changes, copy the standard cube(If u right click on cube, we have a option of copy) & so the changes in the cusomized cube.
3.how to create customized info cubes.
Just goto RSA1-->select infoprovider in the left pane.
In the right pnae, rightclick-->create Infocube. Infocube is created!

Info Cube not getting full records

Hi All,
I am extracting data from the flat file (60k records..of which most fields have binary values),, am getting the values into data source..but when loading from data source to info cube am not getting total records..
the load is successful and it is showing as transferred 60k records and added 510 records in the manage tab of the info cube.
what would be the problem ....any help is appreciated.

Data with same combination for characterstic is added and only for unique charactersitc value it will give new record.

SO As you can see in flat file 4 records are there but in inofcube it will be only 2
Data with same combination of charactersitc is added and with unique combo only it will display.

How to populate values in DP key figure which is not present in Info Cube

We have a special Key figure in Demand Planning created for uplaoding Forecasts coming directly from customer,
This key figure is not present in Info Cube and data doesnot pupulate in this key figure through Info cube build,
Hence data in this key figure is to be loaded externally , Customer sends his forecasts through EDI messages, Now we want to update forecast from external customer in to this special key figure,
Please suggest some ways

Hi
I think you can get loaded this information in the cube in any other key figure which is available in the info cube. Then while loading the data into planning area using TSCUBE, you can define the key figure assignment.
In which you define data from which key figure of infocube has to be get loaded into which key figure of planning area. Here you can define the respective key figures.

How to Load data in remodeled info provider(Info cube) ?

I have added one key figure in existing cube by using remodeling process.
I changed the transformation rule and reloaded the data but the new key figure is still showing value as 0.
Can anyone please explain complete step by step process of loading data in remodeled info cube.
I am new to SAP BW. please help me to sort out this issue.

After adding the key figure, use one of the following options to populate data.
1. Constant: To populate constant data for new key figure.
2. User Exit: To populate data from different source.
For replacing the key figure, use the following option to populate data.
Customer Exit: To populate data for the replaced key figure.

The file format should be same as you want to upload. The sequence of File format should be same communication structure.
Like,
Initial columns with Characteristics (ex: plant,location,customer,product)
date column (check for data format) (ex: calander)
Last columsn with Key figures (history qty)

Hi A,
Business content it's still using 3.x data flow. That's why you see a 3.x infosource.
You won't have transformations for this. The update rules icon is like a transformation but with a small white square on the left.
So the dataflow you should have is:
Cube
Update Rules (0IC_C03 2LIS_03_BF)
    3.x InfoSource (Material movements (as of 2.0B))
      Transfer Rules
        Datasource
You'll see a small square next to all the objects, except for the cube. This means 3.x object.

Data is not loaded into info cube

Hi All,
I have a custom defined info cube and full load is running every month and It's hardly taking 1 hour to finish the same.
But this month data came to PSA successfully from there to data target process stopped at update rules, non of the records are getting added to info cube. We haven't done any changes on update rules also.
Can anybody let me know what might be the reason behind it. Thanks.

Hi Ashok,
You can do the following:
1. In the Monitor Status tab, turn the request Red.
2. In the Details tab right click this data package and choose Manual Update.
3. After the processing is done, the datapackage will be green but the overall request will still be red.
4. In the Monitor Status tab, turn the request back to original status (this will make it green)

Error 3, when loading transaction data into an info cube from flat file

HI friends,
I have taken 2 dimension info cube. (customer and product dimensions).I loaded master data through direct update by preparing 2 excel sheets seperately for customer and product. For loading transaction data(through flexible update), I prepared single excel sheet covering all values that is master data info objects of customer and product, key figure values and taken 0unit, 0currency,0calday in transfer rules.(in excel sheet)
Once I load the data, the "data was requested" option is appearing and error 3 coming, when I go for monitor to check the data.

In Monitor see the error message by clicking on Error message button or
go to details tab and expand the nodes to see which record is having problem.

Info cube key figure quantity is more than the data source

Hi,
I am loading data from a custom table data source into an info cube. The data records and key figure quantity of the info cube is more than the data source custom table.
I checked the extraction in RSA3. The number of records records and key figure quantity are exactly extracted from the data source in RSA3 transaction.
But after loading using the info package, the number of records and the key figure quantity of the info cube is more than the actual records available in the data source. The update rule is simple 1 to 1 mapping.
Kindly help to troubleshoot this issue.

Hi,
There could be some other data already avilable in the Infocube. Pls take the Request ID or Number from the last run of the Infopackage you used and check the records only for that Request ID in Infocube.
You can check the data in the LISTCUBE Transaction.

End routine to populate Info-cube.

Is it possible to load fileds of a Info-cube using End routines in the following scenairos.
1.Loading fields of info-cube by referencing/using a master data table in End routine.
2.Loading fields of info-cube by referencing/using a DSO fields in End routine.
3.Loading fields of info-cube by referencing/using a fields of another info-cube in End routine.

Before answering your question you need to understand something about "End routine" and "Expert routine".
End Routine:
- Result_fields and Result_package are available
- End routine contains only those fields available in Data target.
Start Routine:
- Source_fields and Source_package are available
- Start routine contains only those fields coming from source.
Expert Routine:
- Source_fields, Source_package, Result_fields and Result_package are available
So Now if you want write code to look up into some other cube, in look up you may need to test condition using source fields, in that case " Expert Routine" is only the option.
For Ex
my data target contains : x,y and z fields (it becomes result_field)
source contains : a field ( it becomes source_field)
now if i want to write look up code like this " select x,y and z fields from other cube where my a field value = other cube a field value. here u r accessing both S_F as well as R_F. So only the option is "EXPERT ROUTINE"
or else u want to write code only with R_F then "End routine " is enough.

My query is built on multiprovider. The data flow is data source u2013 ODS then ODS u2013 Info cube and multiprovider contains Info cube only.
Data in ODS, Info cube ans Multiprovider(List cube) are in Sync.
The query results are not tie up ODS, Info cube ans Multiprovider(List cube).
Any one let me know why this is happening and how do I resolve it.

and shall i delete the data which is already in the info cube.

Hi,
If you have added a new key figure then
1) you need not delete the data just add the key figure and run a delta it will bring all the records into this new filed and everything will work fine.
2) You can delete the data and run a full load till the cube.
If you have added a char to the data source
1) you will have to add this char to the cube and then you will have top assign to a dimesion and therfoer you will have to delete tha data from the cube and once updat rule is done you will have to again to init data transfer.
