Custom leave screen creation with feature of uploading doctor's certificate

Hi Experts,
In our ESS / MSS implementation project we have to create custom leave screen. In the leave screen, we have to provide following feature:
The employee has to provide the scanned copy of doctor's certificate while applying for sick leave. For this, the leave entry screen should have a browse button. When the employee will click on browse screen one window should pop-up. Here the employee has to browse and attach the scanned doctor's certificate. The certificate will be attached to the leave application.
Later on when the Manager will login he should see the leave request along with doctor's certificate attached by employee.
How we can achieve this?

Did u have a discussion with ur work flow and Netweaver Consultant? We had developed the same by writing some BSP's . Pl check with work flow and EP consultants.

Custom sub-screen creation in 'MRP 4' tab of MM01

Hi All,
I have to add custom sub-screens in u2018Accounting 2u2019, u2018MRP 2u2019 and u2018MRP 4u2019 tabs of the Material Master transaction (MM01).
I could successfully add a sub-screen in u2018Accounting 2u2019, u2018MRP 2u2019 tabs by using SPRO (Logistics -> Material master -> Configuring the material master -> Define structure of data screens).
However, I could not able to add incase of u2018MRP 4u2019 tab, as Standard SAP has already used all the existing 6 sub-screens. If I try further to create any, I get the error u201CInsertion not possible since maximum number of sub-screens reached u201C.
Please help me out in this scenario.

Screen number changed from 4000 to 4004 in SPRO, which allows to create a maximum of 10 subscreens.

Customer Master data creation with customized number range

Dear all,
Can somebody know how to create the customized number range for customers like first 2 digits represents Sales organization and next 2 digit should represent circle,next 2 distribution chaneel and last 4 digits shold be the running number.

In your case you need to define as following
Step No: 01.
01.Sales Orgination with 0001 to 0099.
02.Regions with 00 to 99.
03.Distribustion Channel with 00 to 99
Step No:02.
Define PDP with the diffrent account groups defined for diffrent Sales Org, Regions & DC's.
Step : No: 03.
As per the above configs go to TCode for Number range for accounts groups in XDN1. Say Example as
XX--- From:1010100000 to: 1010109999. Note the possiable numbers are 0000 to 9999 only.
10 is sales Org, 10 is Region & 10 is DC's.
This is one of the way to do. The other way is to develo Z table and to use the user exit / new progarme to identify the requried number range with reference to Sales Org, Regions & DC's

Problem with PNP customized selection screen

Hi guys,
I have done a report in R/3 system using logical database PNP with customized selection screen. i have 3 parameters as below:
1. radiobutton1 group a for current period,
2. radiobutton2 group a for other period.
3. personnel number.
my program works fine in R/3 but not in my portal. i think it couldn't recognize my radiobutton in my customized screen. whichever radiobutton i selected also it would return current month records.
any idea how to fix this?
any configuration that i can do?

try testing it through ITS first.
in order to do so . Go to sicf transaction and run webgui. Then run the application using the tcode. Check the results.
Seems wrong paramter are getting passed to the SAP system.
Your ITS server should be activated first in order to use webgui otherwise you will be getting dump.

Problem with Call Screen and Leave Screen !

I am calling Modal screen (Dialog Pop up screen) from my first screen by 'Leave to Screen 'nbr' ' then once user enter the value in the pop up screen then I haveto display value with TABLE in Final screen as 'Normal screen' here I am using LEAVE to SCREEN, but after this call - my new final screen is not displaying as noraml screen it also displaying like 'Modal Screen' Like big pop scrren.!!
When I tried final CALL by using CALL SCREEN instead of LEAVE screen the final screen with table is dispalying fine as Normal screen but its returning control to pop-up screen which I dont want.
I like Screen flow as 1>2>3--->1
Help me to solve this Problem.

4) 3rd Screen back to First Screen -> use LEAVE TO SCREEN First_Screen_NO.

I use Apple TV's screen saver with a file in my photo library. If I install newest update - will that change anything with my using this favorite feature? I have just under 4000 photos in that file. What is the total # of photos it can utilize?

Thank you Alan and know you are right. I really can do all I need with my netbook and ereader and do not need the ipad. I think I just wanted something new and felt I may enjoy using it a lttle more than the netook. But it would be a waste just to buy one when I donlt acutally need it And, donl't think it is worth the extra money for me the get the 4g wireless capability since I doubt I would really need it often.
I may treat myself to the Ipad for the color, touchpad and fun to use but it is very expensive considering how little it will do for me no more than the things I want it for. It woudl be and expensive luxuray, I can do without. I actually need t learn how to use more of the function avaiable first. Maybe I should take up playing games and learning to take digital pictures so I can at least load them. If I could learn to do that and take a decent picture, I could start selling back all the "stuff" I have purchased on ebay. haha - I do have a nice doll collection, I would like to sell. I just do not have room for anything else. That was the primary purpose for the Kindle Ereader I bought and enjoy so much,
But, I will hold onto the thought for a while and see how it goes and what other comments I get, If I think I cannot live without it, then I will have to rethink which one to buy, I coud get the 32 g if I did not have to pay for the 4g wireless. And, if I knew I could get help to teach me how to use and enjoy all the functions, I would give it more serious consideration. My granddaugther got one for Christmas and that was what got me interested in it. I love the size of the screen and it had good color and was fast. She even had an application where she could write her notes and it would convert into typed words. That was a neat feature, If you could print it?

Problem with using new Upload to FTP Host feature...

I tried using the "Upload to FTP Host" feature to upload to GoDaddy.com. It worked fine the first time but now I get this message:
Error:
Error creating folder //images. Click Resume to try again. If this problem persists, try again later.
I tried a few times and even waited two days but I am still getting the same message. So I tried to "Export as HTML" liked I used to do and now for some reason it will not create a CSS or Scripts folder. Only an images folder.
Also, the first time the "Upload to FTP Host" worked for some reason not all the images were there and the transition box I have is not fading smoothly from one image to the next.
Please help!!!

The issue looks like it might be related to a known issue with our FTP upload client. We currently incorrectly assume the server is configured to use / as the root direcotry. We have a fix for the issue, that will be released in an upcoming update (likely to be sooner rather than later). The workaround for it is actually pretty simple though. If you login to your FTP server, you should be able to see what directory you are at, and you can use the full path there to upload successfully.
For example, if you login using a different FTP client, you might see something like /home/users/myuser/ in the address bar. In Muse, in the directory location, if you place /home/users/myuser you will upload to the correct directory. If you want to upload to a specific directory, simply add that to the end of the directory path.
If you are unable to upload after following the above steps, as Abhishek says, it is likely a permissions error. Try exporting first and using a third party client to upload it and let us know if you are able to do so successfully from there.

Concerned with the Automatic Upload feature

My project has over a thousand PHP files that will need to be constantly sync-ed to my remote server. I'm still testing the Automatic Upload feature and have some concerns.
My remote server is half the planet away from me so sometimes the Internet connection may be slow and not very reliable. Sometimes it takes several attempts to upload just one file.
Given this, can I count on Eclipse to do the right job as when I used to with other FTP / SSH clients, while it indicated the file upload was a success it actually turned out to be wrong or half-uploaded.
Would Eclipse Automatic Upload do such a thing in times of a not so reliable Internet connection? Is there any bullet-proof check such as MD5 verification or something in place that can make it absolutely sure that the upload is successful and correct? So I don't have to worry about it.....cause' some files are very deep in the project, I can't test all of them out after each sync. That would drive me crazy. But not having a peaceful mind that's rest assured also drives me nuts.
Things would go wrong when that file is included and run. But before that, I'm not so sure if they are uploaded fully and correctly.
Should I be worried? Can somebody share their experience with Eclipse Automatic Upload. Can I count on it even if my Internet connection sucks?

Reservation creation with ITS (RF) screen

I am planning to create a custom RF screen (ITS mobile) for creating reservation for 311 movement type. I am trying to accommodate multiple material lines in the RF screen which enable me to create reservation with multiple materials. Can any one tell me as how many maximum material lines we can accommodate in a RF screen, provided that there is scroll down option with ITS transaction. Has any one done this development before?Please share your thoughts.

Actually we tested it on our laptop with IE 7 and Firefox with the same result. No automatic focus at all. The IE browser on the mobile device does support CSS and JS, we put some alert windows in the javascript function setFocus found in Mobile.js in the ITSMOBILE service and we did see the popup screens. The alert popups were placed after each javascript instructions and they all showed up, but still no focus.
When we copied the html code with the css and the js files and run everything locally it works. So it's only when we run the transaction from the ITS server that it doesn't work.
We submit the issue to SAP but they're still working on it. Does anybody have any idea?

But when I click 'continue/cancel' in the custom screen, control is going back to main cutom screen rather go back to standard transaction. Custom List Form creation using Powershell - SharePoint 2013

I have a custom List called 'IssuesList' with 4 fields - "IssueTitle","IssueID","IssueDesc","Status"
While displaying display form I should show 3 fields expect Issue ID i.e. IssueID should be hidden.
and on edit form only Status field should be editable. So using SharePoint designer I created respective Edit form and display forms and changed XSLT to control the display mode on the fields.
I have everything scripted in powershell till now - creation of custom list, publishing pages, webparts etc. however I am looking for how to provision or associate these 2 list forms with IssuesList after I create the list in new site.
I have restrictions on using wsp and site/list template due to business needs. So I need to know if there is any way I can upload these 2 files after I create custom list in powershell and associate them as defaultdisplay and defauteditforms?
Please advise.

Per my understanding, you might need to apply these custom forms to a list after list creation using PowerShell.
With PowerShell with SharePoint Object Model, we can hide fields on list forms.

If there may be other requirements except for hiding fields, as you have limitation on using custom solution package(which should be preferable in such scenario),
a workaround I can provide is that, after list creation, you can add Content Editor Web Part contains the CSS style or JavaScript to the form pages of a specific list, it will help you hide/disable the specific elements, this can be achieved programmatically.
The code below can add a Content Editor Web Part to the DisplayForm of a list(though in C#):

Need my custom webauth page displayed with HTTP instead of HTTPS

I have a custom webauth page installed that I am using with web passthrough authentication on my WLC2006 in order to put up a acceptable use policy page.
The WLC uses HTTPS to display this which causes a security certificate warning to appear if I go with the WLC's own self-signed certificate. Is there a way I can get the WLC to use plain HTTP to display this page instead so I can eliminate the warning?
I have already tried installing a trusted 3rd party certificate on the WLC, but I have this very strange problem where mucking with the WLC's web authentication certificate in any manner causes all network activity on the WLC to break except for CDP and ARP, essentially leaving the WLC dead. Three weeks of troubleshooting with Cisco TAC has yielded no progress on that front so now I am trying to bypass the need for a security certificate altogether since I really don't need to encrypt my acceptable use policy page.

The documentation doesn't provide very clear direction, does it?
To download the WLC's default webauth page, browse to the controller's Security > Web Login Page. Make sure the web authentication type is Internal (Default). Hit the Preview button. Then use your browser's File > Save As... menu item to save the HTML into a file. Edit this to your liking and bundle it and any graphics images up into a TAR archive, then upload via the controller's COMMAND page.

My requirement is to create a custom approval screen for workflow. I am Not aware as to how to create a custom approval screen for workflow that could view via CRM Web UI and Execute the workitem as well.
Experts please help me with the creation of a task with custom approval screen.
