Custom Loginpage in mobile

Hi All,
I have a requirement, I want to show our customized portal login page in Mobile?
I have developed an application using Mobile Webdynpro, but the login which I am getting is default portal login. I want to show our customized login page instead of the standard one that too in Mobile browser.
How can this be achieved?
Anyone has any idea how we are able to acces SDN through Mobile?
We have not installed Mobile Infrastructure.

Which url you are using to access webdynpro mobile application.
Are you using webdynpro application url itself, then i think it will ask for login with url like
logonlogonservlet?redirect url.....

Hi,
of course you can do this.
Firstly you need to define/create a new Business Object (Bdoc NOT supported) with attributes which you want to have.
In your interface you take the recordset which you got from the external interface, create & fill a new Business Collection based on this BO definition mentioned above.
Finally you only need to assign this BCol to the anchor BCol of the current tile.

BAPI to add Customer's Contact Mobile Number

Hello, I have to create a badi in which i have to create a business partner with details such as name, address ,telephone ,fax ,mobile number. I got bapi for everything except for mobile number. Custom Field When Mobile Devices Search GAL (Android / iPhone / BBerry)

We are running Exchange 2010 SP2. In the details templates editor we renamed the pager field to "Direct Dial" to easily allow our users to see the direct dial numbers for the employees.
In the past when we searched the GAL from Android or iOS devices, we were able to see the pager field even though it was not named "Direct Dial" like it was in outlook.
I dont know when this feature stopped working (my guess is SP2??) but we can no longer see the pager field on our mobile GAL searches.
How can I restore or customize this functionality?

Please check whether the settings in “Details Templates Editor” are still like before.
Try re-apply the settings and check if the issue persists.

Custom New/Edit Forms not mobile supported

Hi All - I have created custom New/Edit Form in SPD. When I am trying to browse these in mobile view - It is giving error: The following error is not mobile supported: /lists/<listname>/<customnewform.aspx>
In PC view it opens the same URL properly with no issues.
Also,
In mobile view - When click on New Item opens Default OOTB New/Edit Forms and not the custom forms.
In PC View - Since I set CustomNew/EditForm as default. Click on New Item opens Custom forms.
How can I set the default - my custom form for mobile view?
Please suggest.

Hi Khushi,
SharePoint will detect the device you are using to access SharePoint site and determine the view it displays. By default, you are using mobile view in a mobile device.
On mobile device, please go to site settings > switch to PC views, see if custom list view works.
If it works, we could disable mobile view by executing command :
disable-spfeature -identity MobilityRedirect -url

How to show different size of custom fonts on different mobiles

I am currently working on a J2ME project on which we are using low level API. We want to display custom fonts on mobiles and we want to show different size of fonts according tot he resolution and screen density of mobile screen resolution is provide by J2ME but screen density is not provided is there any way to calculate screen density using WURLF, Or any other third party api or JSR.

Issue in Custom Control UI element

Hi there,
               I have created 2 custom controls(SAP mobile 7.1), one for rendering images(actually map images) and another for capturing user's signature. Both are integrated into the main application and works fine when alone. But when present together, certainly on different screens in the main app, still it works but with rendering problems. Say when navigating from the screen that displays the map custom control to the screen that has the signature capuring custom control, the map image is still getting displayed over the signature custom control view.
           I wonder , if the problem is with disposing of the custom control. Can anyone suggest how to do that. Or something else has to be done?

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable about custom controls \ SWT can add some input
I do know disposing the SWT controls is important but not sure if it would solve your problem
from our application that uses a few simple custom controls together, we definitely needed to use dispose or it would cause memory consumption issues and slow performance
within the constructor

Sharepoint 2010 - Not able to access Sharepoint 2010 Public facing site on mobile browsers

Earlier, I posted a similar question in the forum , but did not get appropriate response . Posting it again with some more information .
We are not able to access Sharepoint public facing site on Mobile browsers like chrome, IE, Safari (However the site is working fine on Firefox mobile browser and on PC/Laptops as well .)
Following is the error we are getting :
"Cannot set custom attribute on mobile controls in this page. Custom attributes specified are Access Key=0."
I checked in the event logs , following was the exception :

Error while adding custom group in Reciver Meta Model

Hi,
I have added ZTEST_CG custom group to MOBILE in RMM and saved it.
And added a custom attribute BPNUMBER where "Adim UI Display" is chacked, No Default value,Data type is CHAR, length is 10
Once I save it, it populated success message
And the status of the "Custom group" is active
Then i have tried to generate the MOBILE Meta Model
While generating It show a pop-up box "Request terminated with error(see log)"
then "Consistency Check" tab Displays in MOBILE as below

Unlocked an AT&T BB 7290 to use T-Mobile SIM card but now "No Service"

After my trusty dusty blackberry 7290 quit on me    I found another in "excellant condition" on ebay. It was locked to AT&T but I was able to enter the magic code and unlock it.
SIM card is now reporting Network: Inactive (which I understand means that it is now unlocked from AT&T
I inserted my T-Mobile SIM card (which worked in my previous 7290 and currently works in an old Nokia).
The phone opens with the AT&T logo. As I recall, my old(er) 7290 opened to the T-Mobile welcoms screen.
The current OS is v 4.0.2.56 (Platform 1.8.0.143)
I understand that an update to v 4.1.0.377 for T-Mobile exists, but I have yet not been able to locate it.
The Blackberry Desktop recognizes this as a model 7290, but when I click to [Update], it claims there is no newer OS version.
My main problem is it can't find any service. When I enable the wireless, it goes into searching for network mode, but then reports "No Service".
Other than the unlocking I think was done properly, are their any other steps needed to get this to work on T-Mobile? Is it a custom OS T-Mobile install that removed the At&t screen logo and replaced it with the TMO logo?

Customer components

Hi MM Gurus,
       Please clarify me the customer component and
scenario is like this
          I have sold the material to a customer --lets say mobile as finished product which does not have codes
i.e., before implementing SAP may be sold as special component or something like that which do not have code
          But when the material is returned for some purpose i.e., after implementing SAP, i would dismantle all the parts of that product--- i.e., sim, battery etc and would keep them in stock
these split up parts which have masters and is already in inventory. I have the material codes for the split up products i.e., sim, battery etc .So i want to take those parts in to account . so how would you proceed with this scenario.
Pls clarify me ASAP. points would be rewarded.

In MIGO, use Goods Receipt > Others and movement type as "501"
Here input all the materials, quantity, storage location, vendor code, etc... and post the document.
As s result, it will update the stock of the materials.
You should not take these materials in through "561" since it is specially used for Initial Stock Entry. And once initial stock is uploaded and trial balance sign-off is done, then you should stop using this movement type.

What's your corporate policy on customer service for mobile phone upgrade activations? If the store is open to 9pm, until what time can I get service for an iphone upgrade?

When you are upgrading your phone it can become a lengthy process with getting everything picked out, going through the activation process, and getting information transferred from the old device to the new, as autotech796 said above. Our associates in Best Buy Mobile do partner with the carriers themselves, as well, in the activation process which can sometimes make the process longer; to ensure you get everything taken care of in the timeliest fashion, I would try to get there an hour before the store is set to close, however, within business hours you shouldn’t be turned away.

What is the formatted search to auto display sales employee mobile?

Hi,
Customer is using SAP2005A PL23. Each BP master are attached with sales employee. The sales employee is tagged inside Employee Master Data where customer key in mobile number.
Customer had created a UDF in Sales Quotation. If a Business Partner code is selected in Sales Quotation, sales employee will appear automatically(base on setup in BP master data) and same time sales employee mobile(get from Employee master data) will appear in U_MobileNo.
May I know how to write the query?

i remember a method to check phone numbers to verify if the mobile number was a verizon customer, thereby talk without having minutes eaten up...

Use this tool to check the number(s) in question. If they come up as IN NETWORK, then it will count as M2M.
Also, if they are in your contact list, and you use Backup Assistant, they will have a red check mark next to their name in your online contact list. I discovered several contacts of my contacts were on Verizon. . .
