Custom no roles page or redirection

Hello,
I would like to know if anyone has customized the page that shows up if user does not have any Portal roles assigned.  The page that states "No portal roles are assigned for this user.If this problem persists, contact your system administrator."  Is it possible to change this message or even redirect this page to another custom .html page?
Patrick

Hi Patrick
Did you solve your request?
Could you please tell me how did you change it, if you did it.
Thanks

  • Assessment - Planning Page will not show in Custom MSS Role

    I have gone through the Notes/Docs for setting up OBN for Performance Management and have implemented the same.
    Now if I go to the Standard MSS role and try to open up Assessment > Click on 'Create' for Succession Planning, it works fine by showing up the Talent Assessment window where it can be completed.
    Now, we have a custom MSS role copied from the standard one and I have included the same Talent Management workset (with the page, folder inside - just like the standard role).
    But when I try the same scenario as above (Z_Manager_role > Talent Management > Assessment (from Service Map) > Click on Create under Succession Planning), I get the following error.
    There is no iView available for system "SAP_ERP_HumanResources": object "employee". For more information, contact your administrator.
    Why would it work on the standard role and not the copy? Any directions highly appreciated.
    FYI. We are on 7.01 SP8, SAP_MSS  600 SP18
    Thanks,
    BR

    Thanks Sidharth.
    Sorry for not getting back earlier. I had opened a message with SAP. It looks like the problem has to do with Navigation Targets in my custom MSS role - so that is narrowed down now.
    The following prerequisite applies: You must include the navigation targets (for the portal pages mentioned below) in your role.
    pcd:portal_content/com.sap.pct/line_manager/com.sap.pct.erp.mss.bp_folder/com.sap.pct.erp.mss.14.bp_folder/com.sap.pct.erp.mss.14.pages/com.sap.pct.erp.mss.hcm/com.sap.pct.erp.mss.appraisal_document_wd_ui
    pcd:portal_content/com.sap.pct/line_manager/com.sap.pct.erp.mss.bp_folder/com.sap.pct.erp.mss.14.bp_folder/com.sap.pct.erp.mss.14.pages/com.sap.pct.erp.mss.hcm/com.sap.pct.erp.mss.appraisal_document_pmp
    How do I include these navigation targets in my custom MSS role? I mean these pages are not part of the role.
    Thanks,
    BR

  • OAM 11g Webgate 10g customized SSO logout page

    As stated in the title, I am using OAM 11g and Webgate 10g. I am trying to create a customized SSO logout page but am confused on a few parts. First off, in http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17904_01/doc.1111/e15478/logout.htm#CHDHFGJC , it states the following step for their logout.html:
    Logic in logout.html redirect to the OAM Server. For example:
    http://myoamserverhost:port/oam/server/logout?end_url=http://my.site.com/
    welcome.htmlMy question is if this is truely required? Or is there a way to have OAM invalidate the session and do its internal part of the logout procedures without needing to force the user to redirect to the OAM server's logout URL (eg: it automatically recognizes that the Webgate URL is "...../logout.html" and handles it properly). From talking to colleagues it sounds like this should be possible, and I see some mentions of it in the above documentation, but this appears to be 11g OAM and 11g Webgate behavior. At the same time though, the line "Logout is initiated when an application causes the invocation of the logout.html file configured for any registered OAM 10g Webgate." Leads me to believe that it can work with 10g webgate as well.
    Or, is there a way to have multiple valid logout pages on the OAM server? (There is currently a customized logout page that we cannot modify, and does not meet all the requirements we have for look/feel)
    Thank you

  • Add hyperlink  - Custom sign in page OBIEE 11g

    Hello,
    I a m trying to customize the sign in page.
    We already succeeded, but a file disapeared ad we can't do it again...
    I explain, we have created the path
    /opt/oracle/obiee/middleware/biee11g
    In this path we have :
    customMessages
    sk_pageaideaccueil
    s_pageaideaccueil
    WEB-INF
    In the customMessages we have :
    messages/l_en/
    and the files :
    logonmessages.xml and
    productmessages.xml
    So, we modified some files to add an hyperlink "help" on the sign in page.
    In the logonmessages.xml we add the line :
    <WebMessage name="kmsgSampleMsg1"><HTML><sawm:if name="logonURL"> <a href="/analytics/olh/l_en/scorecard026.htm">Help</a></sawm:if></HTML></WebMessage>^M
    of course kmsgSampleMsg1 = Help is already created too.
    So we are here.
    I have my custom logonmessages.xml file in my custom path and i have the help folder in the original path :
    /opt/oracle/obiee/middleware/Oracle_BI1/bifoundation/web/app/olh/l_en/
    When I write an existing file like scorecard026.htm (or any other file which is from OBIEE) it's okay.
    But if I copy scorecard026 and I rename it helpme.htm, if I write in the path:
    <WebMessage name="kmsgSampleMsg1"><HTML><sawm:if name="logonURL"> <a href="/analytics/olh/l_en/helpme.htm">Help</a></sawm:if></HTML></WebMessage>^M
    It told me 404 error even after retsarting the coreapplication service.
    Do you know what I missing ?
    Thank you,
    Antoine

    Hello JaniRautiainen and thanks for your answer !
    So you have understod quite well the problem
    I just want to add a link to the sign in page so like you said : "there is no change to the actual login behavior".
    After that, when I click on the link "help" tha I have addes on the page, the redirection is fine (the link is working).
    But the page does not work, I have a mistake if I use the name of a file I have added to :
    /opt/oracle/obiee/middleware/Oracle_BI1/bifoundation/web/app/olh/l_en/
    But if I use a file which already exists in this path ,it's working...
    So I think that there is another file somewhere which know the files which are from Oracle or not.
    A new problem now, if I use a file which exists for exemple biee0002.htm, it's working. So when I click on my help link I arrive on this page.
    But now, if I modify the file biee0002.htm and I restart the coreapplication services, the file I see is the same...
    So it appears that I am in the wrong path...
    Do you have something on this ?
    Thank you

  • How to set custom access denied pages in SharePoint 2013?

    Hi everybody,
    in SharePoint 2010 custom access denied or other error pages could be easily set by setting the new path to the webapp-properties by using webApp.UpdateMappedPage. In SharePoint 2013 this seems to be ignored. The MSDN-entry seems to be out of date and just
    copied from SharePoint 2010:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/microsoft.sharepoint.administration.spwebapplication.updatemappedpage.aspx
    A possible workaround could be writing a HttpModule that checks the requested url for accessdenied.aspx and redirects to a custom page but there must be another more best practice way to achieve this behaviour??

    I found a workaround to redirect to a custom access denied page but I'm not happy with it.
    I created a HttpModule which uses static method SPCustomRedirect.RegisterRedirectHandler to register a class inheriting ISPCustomRedirectHandler to the current HttpContext. In this class there is a method GetRedirectUrl that returns the path to my custom
    access denied page.
    Now at last a value must be written to the HttpRequest.Querystring named "CustomRedirect". But to add something to the QueryString-NameValueCollection I must use reflection to make it writable because it's readonly. After setting the value, I reset the property
    to readonly.
    For clearness, I post the code-snippet from the HttpModule below:
    HttpRequest request = HttpContext.Current.Request;
    NameValueCollection QS = request.QueryString;
    QS = (NameValueCollection)request.GetType().GetField("_queryString", BindingFlags.NonPublic | BindingFlags.Instance).GetValue(request);
    PropertyInfo readOnlyInfo = QS.GetType().GetProperty("IsReadOnly", BindingFlags.NonPublic | BindingFlags.Instance);
    readOnlyInfo.SetValue(QS, false, null);
    QS["CustomRedirect"] = "CustomAccessDenied";
    readOnlyInfo.SetValue(QS, true, null);
    SPCustomRedirect.RegisterRedirectHandler("CustomAccessDenied", new CustomAccessDenied());
    This is the redirectHandler-class I register in the last line:
    public class CustomAccessDenied : ISPCustomRedirectHandler
    public string GetRedirectUrl(string key)
    string serverRelativeUrl = string.Empty;
    var ctx = HttpContext.Current.Items["DefaultSPContext"];
    if (ctx != null)
    serverRelativeUrl = ((SPContext)ctx).Web.ServerRelativeUrl;
    if (serverRelativeUrl.Equals("/"))
    serverRelativeUrl = string.Empty;
    return string.Format("{0}/_layouts/15/myCode/CustomAccessDenied.aspx", serverRelativeUrl);
    This works fine but I really don't like the need to add a value to the querystring by reflection or the need to do this for every page-request...
    What's your opinion for this?

  • EP6.0 : Custom workset/Role dosen't work when using Windows authentication

    Hi
      We have implemented EP6.0 with Windows integrated logon with Active directory.
      To create a custom "Transport' role, we copied ( not the delta link) the "Export" workset and put into the custom role. we assigned this role to one user.
      When this user logon through the integrated login( without needed the user id/password) although the new menu is visible, the export workset dosen't work( page can not be found).
      The same work set work when the user logs in with the userid/password combination.
      Also the default SAP provided workset always work.
      Thanks
    Arunabha

    Maybe try OSS #734462 - urlmaxsegmentlength issues.
    Had similar problems - pages work w/ userid/password
    (same pages don't work w/ NTLM authentication).

    I am having trouble with a custom web auth page on my controller, we have edited the original file, but when we click login it goes to page cannot be displayed and it doesnt redirect to the page I want, however when I close the window and reopen it has already authenticated me.
    Has anyone got a copy of some working html code I can use ?
    cheers

    There is sample Web Authentication bundle avaiable for download from cisco.com. if you go to the software download page and go to Wireless->Standalone Controllers->4404 you should see a link for Wireless Lan Web Authentication Bundle.
    Its the same bundle whether you have a WiSM, 4404 or 2100

  • Custom UME Role with action: Manage_All_User_Passwo

    Hi all,
    I have to create a custom role on EP. This role has to able a user to manage the password of all user (only password).
    i created a custom UME role Reset_PWD and I add the following action
    Manage_All_User_Password
    I attribute this role to a user.
    When I logon with this user I get an error: Page not found.
    Any suggestion to solve my problem?
    Thanks in advantage
    Enzo

    Hi Enzo,
    The reason why you are getting this error is because you have assigned just the role and an action to it. There is no content attached to the role.
    For this requirement, I am not sure if adding any existing iview will help or not.
    Thanks,
    Nikhil

    1. Create BOR Object Type
    2. Define Logical System and Assign ITS URL
    3. Use Transaction Launcher Wizard
    4. Create Logical Link
    I try to launch CRM GUI transaction,
    but selecting business role page is displayed(not CRM GUI transaction).
    Could you please help us out?
    Regards,
    Takehiko Kurosawa

    If i recall correctly from PS2, business role pages are pages that are only visible in the personal space of users. Normaly users can create there own pages in there own personal space. When you create business role pages, these pages will be available in everybody's personal space.
    That's why they are not available in a custom group space. Business role pages are bound to the personal space.
    If you want to role out pages to a specific department than you can solve this by using permissions. Create your business page in your custom space and set the permissions so that only people from a specific department can see the page. Therefore you need to put all your users from a specific department in a group.

  • I added msn cookies to exceptions in accept cookies. But the list is always empty and page is redirected to msn

    Recently the dreaded msn homepage has returned after signing out of hotmail. I added all the cookies that msn installs to the exceptions in the Accept Cookies in Privacy. However whenever I log in and then out of hotmail the exceptions are removed and the cookies installed. I hate this intrusion and would like to permanently block the page from redirecting to msn on logging out of Hotmail. How can I do this if the exceptions are removed?
    Thank you

    If you run Firefox in Private Browsing then exceptions work just like in normal mode, but all cookies are session cookies and expire at the end of the PB mode session or if you close Firefox (Keep until is grayed).
    Choosing the "Use custom settings for history" setting doesn't make any changes to history and cookie settings.<br />
    Firefox shows the "Use custom settings for history" setting as an indication that at least one of the history and cookie settings is not the default to make you aware that changes were made.<br />
    If all History settings are default then the custom settings are hidden and you see "Firefox will: (Never) Remember History".<br />
    Never Remember History" means that Private Browsing is active and "Always use private browsing mode" gets a check mark.<br />

  • Custom ESS Role

    Hi,
    I have created custom ESS roles and set up the homepage framework accordingly. The homepage framework settings seems to be fine, it points to my custom resources and so on. The problem I face is when I go into an application. For example, entering the the "My Trips and Expenses" and clicking on "Possible Actions" in the table it always takes me back to the standard role. How/where can I control the behaviour of those links?
    I am running ESS SP 10 on ERP 2005, Netweaver 2004s.
    Thanks!
    //Elvez

    That one behaves like an odd bird. It is PERFECTLY acceptable to create your own Z-version of your ESS config. That's not your problem.
    I know this will sound odd but for example....for your "My Trips" resource....
    Your RESOURCE config will look as follows:
    Description     Travel & Expense: All My Trips and Ex
    Server
    Directory Path
    Object Name     FITV_POWL_TRIPS
    URL Parameter   SAP_FITV_EXIT_OP=CallAreaPage
    Window Name
    Window Properties
    URL of Resource Object
    ROLES://portal_content/(PCD path to your EXPENSES iView/service)
    URL of PCD Page
    ROLES://portal_content/(PCD path to your ALL MY TRIPS iView/service)
    I know, it is VERY strange that your define that "expenses" iView path in the first URL and then your actual path in the second one. BUT IT WORKS!
    Have fun.

  • Issue with normal page link redirecting to SSO page / forbidden page

    Hi,
    I am having an issue with a number of pages within my portal.
    I have a 'List of Objects' that has been working for some time, each link in the list linked to another page.
    Just lately a number of pages that are linked to within this list are not loading correctly.
    When one of the items is selected, the correct page is initially displayed, but then after a couple of seconds the page is redirected to the 'Single Sign-On' page, or alternatively the page is redirected to a 'Forbidden' page with this error:
    Forbidden
    You don't have permission to access /pls/orasso/orasso.wwsso_app_admin.ls_login on this server.
    (This page will also show up after the user tries to login when the page is redirected to the SSO page).
    As well as this issue occuring at the front end, the same issue is happening when the pages are loaded from the back end, in the Navigator.
    This issue is even happening when the page is opened up in 'edit' mode using the ORCLADMIN user.
    Any help is greatly appreciated!!
    Amanda.

  • A method to create completely customized photo book page templates from scratch in Lightroom 5

    I was able to successfully create completely customized Lightroom 5 page templates (including altering the number of, positions, and sizes of pictures) by making edits to the templatePages.lua file(s) in the Lightroom directory tree.  I have never heard of the LUA file format before, but it is ASCII and looks somewhat like XML, so it was fairly easy to decipher.  Here is a high-level description of how I did it.  This applies to Lightroom 5 on Windows 7.  If this doesn't make any sense to you, then don't try it - you're likely in over your head.  Although my description is brief and lacking in detail, it should enable someone who is capable of handling this to figure it out with a little of careful trial and error.  Do this at your own risk - if you screw-up your installation, catalog, or computer, it's your own fault.  It all worked great for me.
    First, open the "<lightroom 5 install directory>\Templates\Layout Templates" folder.  Then navigate to the template set that contains the template you would like to use as a starting point for the new template.  For example, "12x12-blurb\clean12x12".  Make a back-up copy of the templatePages.lua file in case you mess something up and want to revert.
    There will be a bunch of .jpg files in this directory that each contain a preview image of the layout that carries the same name as the .jpg file.  Find the one that you would like to use as a starting point.  Take note of the name of the file, which is probably something similar to "page_26_preview.jpg".   Duplicate the file and rename it to something unique, such as "dummy_preview.jpg".  It's just temporary, so it doesn't matter what name you pick, provided it is a legal file name with no spaces.
    Next, open the templatePages.lua file in a text editor.  I suggest using one that can automatically recognize and format ULA (such as Notepad++, which is open source and free to use).  Then search the file for the unique portion of the file name you took note of earlier, such as "page_26".  It will point you to a section in the LUA file that describes that particular template.  Carefully copy that entire section, including a balanced number of brackets (starting with the two brackets and commas before "children" and ending with the one bracket and comma after the "title" line.  Paste the copied text into the end of the file on a new line immediately following the bracket and comma after the "title" field for the last page template section (right near the end of the file).  Change the "previewName" field to the name of the preview file copy that you created ("dummy_preview.jpg" for me) and the "name" field to the name of the new template you're creating ("dummy" for me, since it is just temporary).  Next change at least one of the hex characters in the "pageID" field such that the new template will have a unique page identifier.
    Now you can make edits to the photo and text fields included in the new section, using other templates in the template file as examples.  "x" and "y" fields are coordinates (in pixels) for the bottom-left corner of the picture or text field, "height" and "width" are the width of the field in pixels.  The fields should be mostly self-explanatory, but make sure that the "photoindex" fields are filled-in starting from 1 to N, where N is the number of pictures in the template, with no duplicates or gaps.  They do not need to be in order.  Treat the "textIndex" fields similarly for text fields.  If you want to add an additional picture or text field, simply copy the section describing a picture or text field from another template and paste it, carefully, into the new template that you are creating.
    Once you are done, save the file (you may get interference from Windows UAC, in which case save the file elsewhere and the move it back to the correct directory).  Then open Lightroom.  Create a new photobook, and choose the new template for one of the pages, remembering that the preview image will look like the JPG that you copied.  Voila!  If you didn't screw anything up, you should see a page based on your new template.  Then right-click the page and select "Save as custom page", which will cause a fresh preview file to be created for your new template and your template to be copied to the "custom pages" section of the template menu.  The new section you added to the "templatePages.lua" and the "dummy" preview file can now be deleted, since they are no longer needed.  I save them so that I may simply overwrite them the next time I need to create a customized template.
    Enjoy, and please share any clarifications, corrections, or enhancements to my process.

    This post was great!  Thank you so much.  But I am hoping you know one more thing related to this.  In the "transform" section of the definition (where the x/y coordinates are set along with height and width) there is an option called "angle".  I was hoping that changing this value would allow me to offset the angle of the picture.  However, if I put any value there other than 0 the template becomes unusable.
    Do you happen to know what this option does?
    I haven't looked into the files, so this is just a guess based on how some graphic applications work. It's common to think of rotating a shape as pivoting around a center point, but It's possible that the file sets a value for the rotation point not at the center. In some graphics applications, you can set a shape's pivot at any corner or in the middle of any side, of the rectangle that contains the whole shape.
    So, your value may be rotating the shape around a pivot that moves the shape into some area that upsets the behavior of other shapes. Just a thought.

    Peter's point is a good one.  I would also assume that the "angle" property allows you to rotate an image, but I haven't tried it myself.  One thing to investigate - are there any page templates included in LR that have image placeholders that are at an angle (I don't recall any, off-hand)?  If so, looking at the associated .lua file could provide insight into how an angled image placeholder should be described.

  • How can I set up a custom 404 error page on OSX Server?

    I moved my web site to a local server and changed the structure drastically.  Unfortunately I am getting hits for information that was on the old server which I haven't put back yet.  I'd like to set up a custom 404 Error Page to let people know what's up.  In server.app I can set up a 500 error page but not a 404 and when I tried hand coding it into the sites .conf file I really messed things up.  It took me a while to get that all corrected!
    Thanks for any advice,
    Bill W

    Found it!
    Under the web server Advanced Setting set "Allow overrides using .htaccess" then create an .htaccess file in the root directory with the line:
    ErrorDocument 404 notfounderror.html
    Use whatever HTML/PHP/etc. document you have created.
