Custom path resolver

Hi,
I'm using path resolver (Application.setPathResolver) in one application to resolve some external resources. (Using flex compiler oem)
But, tight now, this resources only exists as byte[] (retrieved from a remote server). In order to use current path resolve I need to save this data into a File.
Is there any way to work with byte[] only? This is a sensible data and I prefer do not to save it at disk, even if is just for a moment.
VELO

It seems like you could have your PathResolver subclass return flex2.compiler.io.InMemoryFile instances, which wrap your byte arrays.

  • Clearing Custom Path Lists

When copying files, many times I use a custom path. Each time, this path is added to the bottom of the Path drop down list. I have 20 or so paths and it is getting confusing to know which ones are still valid, etc. Is there a way to delete some or all of those paths and start over?
    Thanks!

That would also clear a variety of other items as well. Thanks for the help. I'm just wondering if ther cure is worth the illness.
    Thanks

  • Custom Path

    Hi All
We are running EBS r12 and planning to create one custom concurrent programe.
For that i need to create one custome log and output files path.
I have finished creating the path in my application server. Now how do I specify that in the env files and tell my concurrent programm to follow the custome path.
    Regards
    Musaddaq

Pl post details of your OS and EBS versions.
There is a custom.env file that gets invoked from the applications env file - you will need to place these custom settings in the custom.env file.
By default, the custom file is located in $APPL_TOP and is named "custom<context_name>.env". After modifying this file, you will need to shutdown all services and restart all services for these settings to take effect.

  • Customizing path for table CRMT_ACC_1O_CUST?

    Hi all,
Do you guys know the customizing path to maintain the entries in table CRMT_ACC_1O_CUST?
In this table the settings (date range) for showing transaction data within assignmentblocks are stored.
It used to be the following path, but this entry isn't available in CRM7.0:
SAP Customizing Implementation Guide / Customer Relationship Management / Master Data / Business Partner / Specify Display Options for Business Transactions
    Thanks for the help!
    Regards,
    Danny Sprenger

Posted the thread a bit to soon..
There is a note for restoring the mentioned IMG path in CRM7.0:

  • Log and Transfer Custom Path Problem

I've been ingesting clips from my Canon 7D using log and transfer. For the life of me I can't seem to get it to put the media on my external drives. It always wants to override my selection and send it to my main hard drive which quickly gets filled up and gives a warning. I come back an hour later and only 3 of my 81 clips have been logged and transferred.
I'm sure I'm missing a step somewhere. I open Log and Transfer, click the preference wheel (top right) select custom path, click on my external drive (sometimes I get the warning that media on these drives is not supported) and then select the clips, drag them to the bottom and walk away.
    Any suggestions?
    Kevin

Thanks Tom...so simple...sort of like "did you take the lens cap off?"

  • Create FMX at a custom path

    Hi!
We are migrating from forms 6i to forms 11g (wow, earlier adopters lol).
So we are setting up a new develpment environment.
Let me try to explain how we expect our environment to work.
We use subversion. Even with the FMB files. So, we do not share a network drive to store the FMB.
These files are stored locally and they are commited to a subversion repository.
Until now, we had no problem, cause we were still in forms 6i so we had no need for a weblogic server.
Now we are upgrading our forms.
We do not want that each developer´s computer to run it´s own instance of weblogic. Too heavy.
We want to share a weblogic server (We already have this server working fine).
We also do not want to abandon subversion.
So we need to have the FMB files on local computer and the FMX files at a network drive (mapped from the weblogic server).
And we do not want to manually copy the FMX files to the network drive every time we change something.
There is a way to configure forms so the FMX files are created in a different directory than the FMB files?
    Thanks.

It would help if you could indicate the exact version you are planning to use. In the end you'll need to install weblogic on your development machines, as otherwise you wouldn't have forms builder available. And as far as the heavy is concerned: for Forms 11gR2 there is a development version available, which has a much smaller impact as the full blown deployment installation.
Forms [64 Bit] Version 11.1.2.2.0 (Production)
    Weblogic: 10.3.6.0
I didn´t know about development version of weblogic. I will see if my version allow it.
We already have weblogic installed. But one thing is to have it installed as requirement. Another is to run it.
Having forms on a smb share is...somehow suboptimal, as you'd add another layer of complexity which is not needed or wanted. Why not have a job on your application server which checks out your working copy, and compiles all your forms sources directly on your application server? You'd need to have some build file somewhere in subversion to build your local working copy; you'd just need to call it in a cronjob directly on your server. At least this is what we do for some years now to automagically push changes on a certain set of test application servers to do continuous tests, and it works just fine.
Just to be clear: weblogic will not use a network share. It will provide it.
I do not want my FMB in a network share either. I want the FMX to be placed in the network share (that is a local directory for the weblogic).
So when I click at "Run Form" button, My form will open in my browser as it would if i was using a local weblogic with local directories.
The job is not a good idea for a development environment, For a test or even a production site, ok, but for a development it will slow down productivity.
I thought about. Just imagine: You make a change in forms builder. Compile it and create the FMX. than you have to wait for the job to copy the files to the server.
Just count: 1...2...3...4......60. No way! I´m trying to make this a "online" environment.
Even if i make a batch to copy the files, it will be a boring unnecessary, i hope avoidable, step.
I thought about looking for a "file change" monitor that would make it almost instant.
But if i could make the fmx to be created in a custom path, I won´t need it.
Using a local instance of weblogic, is very productive. I change the fmb, than i click at "Run Form" and, voilà, i see it in my firefox.
What I want is the same behavior, but using a remote weblogic with my FMBs in my local computer.

  • Merge Pull Custom Conflict Resolver Error

    Morning all.
I have a problem with a custom conflict resolver stored proc.
    Publisher - SQL 2008 Enterprise
Subscribers sql 2008 Express - there are ~400 subscribers. These are fluid to a degree as people leave\join the company
I have been looking(slightly apprehensively) into the possibility of using a custom conflict resolver, and been doing some testing.
I have created a SP that creates a linked server to the subscriber instance, pulls back the data it needs
from the subscriber DB, and drops the linked server once done.
My test works ok if I set up the proc to run on the publisher, but when it runs as part of a proper sync
I get the error "The Stored Procedure Resolver encountered the following error ... Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON'.
Looks like it could be a kerberos issue , but I have remotely connected to both publisher and subscriber instances and verified that kerberos is used.
Any widom as to where I need to look to try and resolve this from here would be appreciated.
    Thanks !

Managed to get over this issue by changing the sql service account in AD so it was 'trusted for delegation'.
I'm not quite clear why\how I was getting Kerberos connections before the change, but at least I have moved onwards..
    Kind regards.

  • Text on Custom Path

This question was posted in response to the following article: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/photoshopelements/using/WS5b9a9ff298eb77cc-1da27bd8130558d3d3c -7ffe.html

I tried typing from the middle and that helped in a limited way but it would still mess up the curve because it was putting the end point right up against the start point with all the anchor points falling beyond that.  I made sure my text was set to left justify. Check and see if your's is set to left justify maybe that will let you start at the beginning of the path.  It doesn't make sense that you can't start were you want.  Honestly, I think the software is buggy because my problem seemed to clear up on it's own (after logging out a couple of times), which makes me nervous that it will bug out on me again.   It's working fine now.  I can add type at the start of the path and the end point is at the end of the path, as it should be.  I can move the anchor points and delete what I don't want (alt click).  I am not able to add an anchor point as Barbara B says I should.  Maybe there'a a combo click that I'm missing?   Maybe in my first tries I was  double clicking when I went to add the text thereby causing the end point to be right next to my start point?  Still a bit of a mystery but it's working perfectly now and I appreciate all the support.

  • Custom Path Location

My Target is a Flat File, which is located in the Remote UNIX Server. I was able to give the custom File Location in the OWB 9.0.2 which was editable but Not able to do in OWB 9.2.0 as it is not editable. How can I achieve this.

If you want to edit target location, you will have to start a Runtime Audit Browser session, log in with the QA User role, click on the deployment report button, then on the location tab. There you can un-register the location you want to change.
After that, the deployment manager will be prompt you to again register the target location and you can provide the new location properties.

  • Reinstall Reader X with a custom path

I have a co-worker that hard codes a specific path of Adobe Reader to open certain PDF's that we push out to our end users.  I however used the automated installer to update the Reader version on all of our machines.  This in turn screwed up how she has PDF's set to open because it can not find her hard coded path.
All this said, I was wondering if there is a way that I can create an install of Adobe Reader X that will remove the current version on the machine and then reinstall using a specific path.
    Thanks for any help

Hmm, I'm not sure on that..
When i go to edit the .MSI with the Cusomization Wizard its already selected (and greyed out).
Try pushing the GPO to a test machine with a previous version of Adobe and see if it removes the previous adobe/upgrades it/nothing happens..

  • Custom url resolving

    Hi,
I have to migrate web application from tomee to weblogic.
    The problem is URL resolving.
In browser - url appears in the form : host:port/app/session_id/page  and weblogic then is trying to read a page under the directory: session_id/page in the app folder. How can I achieve the ignore of session id in URL when reading resources?
    Best Regards,
    ronnixw

    Thanks,
from log files it is quite clear - problem is session id and weblogic can not find parts of jsp template.
i am trying to do this right now - rewriting some of the code. The problem is - this is not my application, there was a lot of previous developers and I do not want to rewrite part of application.
I thought - the easiest solution will be configuration on server side...
    Best Regards,

  • Customizing kernel [RESOLVE]

I just downloaded the kernel26 pkg from the repos and executed all the instructions apeiro wrote, i havent rebooted yet, and i did it mainly to see if my system is ready for the 2.6 as i wasnt sure what i needed to update/change...
Now i was thinking (im pretty sure it will work) after i reboot i want to compile my own (I already did a couple but, i didnt had the module-init.... so wouldnt work) and i dont know how to make it use a diferent modules directory, as /lib/modules/2.6.0 is already in use by the arch kernel26 pkg.
Any tips on how to make the custom kernel install the modules in a custom dir?
    thanks.

sud_crow wrote:Any tips on how to make the custom kernel install the modules in a custom dir?
    Edit the "EXTRAVERSION" in /usr/src/linux-2.6.0/Makefile
    Example: "-myKernel"
    VERSION = 2
    PATCHLEVEL = 6
    SUBLEVEL = 0
    EXTRAVERSION = -myKernel
    This will create folder /lib/modules/2.6.0-myKernel/

  • Set a custom path for the service endpoint associated to a BPEL process

    Hello,
I have a BPEL process and I would like to change the endpoint address of the corresponding web service that corresponds to the BPEL process.
To be more specific, by default, the web service corresponding to a BPEL process "MyProcess" has an endpoint like: http://MyMachine:9700/orabpel/default/MyProcess , supposing that the process is deployed in the default domain.
What should I do to have an endpoint like
    http://MyMachine:9700/orabpel/default/MyPath/MyProcess ?
    Is it possible?
    Thanks in advance!
    Regards,
    Marinel

Figured out that the configuration property 'location' for the PartnerLinkBinding Deployment Descriptor can be used for this purpose. Tried it and it is working out perfectly fine.
    Thanks,
    Vijay.

  • Custom Module Templates - Relative Path...

I haven't seen this come up on the forums yet so I hope this isn't a repeat question. I'm having problems with a template not being applied to the module and I am wondering if it's a pathing issue. Based on what I had read about this new feature I had used a path relative to the root of the website, not a path relative to the file. But when that didn't work I moved the template to the folder and used the path relative to the file. It still ignored the custom .tpl file.
My other thought is it's an issue specific to the module. It's the {module_favorites} which uses by default the small_product.html file from the Layouts/OnlineShop folder. Maybe this module isn't capable of using the custom path?
Since this is a secure zone file I can't give a sample for anyone to look at, but if anyone has any ideas I would love some help...

    http://helpx.adobe.com/business-catalyst/partner/using-custom-templates-modules.html
Paths should have the / at the start
    {module_blogsitepost,2 template="/ModuleTemplates/Custom/MyTemplate.tpl"}
Just double checking and getting the knowledgebase updated as well with a list of modules this works on.

  • Custom import paths

With Lightroom 2, is there still no ability to choose a custom path to save files to on import based on EXIF? I use a folder hierarchy different than the few pre-defined folder paths.
A July 31st, 2008 image would go to the following on import:
    2008/07-2008/07-31-2008/
I am currently using Photo Mechanic to do my downloading from memory card to disc. Looks like I will have to continue to do so?

There is probably a fancier way of doing it but when I needed to do this once.
I went into quicktime player>file>new screen recording.
I then used this screen recording in imovie.
Like I said before there is no doubt a better way to do it, but my way at leasts gets it done!
