Custom Pricing load in R/3 - Delta to CRM

Can you pls help us solve the issue, if we are missing something.
We have a custom program, that is being used to laod the data into pricing tables in R/3 system.
However the data is not flowing to CRM as delta. Can you pls let me know what we need to do.
Queues are getting generated in R/3 system, but I dont see any Bdocs getting created when
those queues are flowing into CRM.
But when I do a request download, it is bringing the same data into CRM system.

Are the pricing tables being updated using a BDC or are directly being updated. I hope they are using the BDC.

The custom discount pricing condition created in R/3 is active in R/3 and is getting triggered for Sales Orders created in R/3.
I have downloaded the same pricing conditon from R/3 to CRM 4.0 i am able to trigger it manually in CRM service transaction. But i need the condition to be triggered automatically for the pricing group.

Hi Padma,
did you enable the condition download from ERP to CRM already? Did you run the initial condition customizing download and the initial condition master data download successfully (check also the application log in SLG1)?
In addition, you should be aware, that for any condition customizing change in ERP you need to rerun the initial customizing download (there is no delta download) and that you need to refresh the IPC customizing buffer, which is automatically done once a day by default.

Load data from BW 7.0 DSO into a ECC 6.0 SD standard/Custom pricing table

Gurus,
We have a scenario, where we need to load data from a BW DSO to SD standard/Custom pricing table in ECC 6.0. That data will be few thousand records.
Per my knowledge, in BPS, retractors are available to update data from BW to ECC and OpenHub also can be used to handle similar scenarios.
Any one of you came across similar scenario?
If you have any third option (not BPS rectors or OpeHub) as a solution to handle this kind scenario, and share the knowledge, it will be greatly appreciated.

We have large data volumes for Billing datasource and hence moving flat files using PI is not an option and also as i mentioned a part of requirement is monitoring of the whole process as well. What i mean by this is if a 1000 billing document items were passed on to CRM7 to create a member activities and because of some reason a member activity was not created for one of the billing doc items, we should know the problematic record and reason why member activity was not created in CRM7 (reason code). And then be able to fix it. All this requires an end to end monitoring capability and also guaranteed delivery of data to CRM7.
Hence i was trying to explore the enterprise web service option.
What i am not sure of is how to expose BW DSO delta request to CRM7 using a web service ? or any other method that gives end to end monitoring capability and also guaranteed delivery of data to CRM7.
Any other suggestions ?

Custom Pricing Conditions not working for a PO in SRM

Hi Experts,
We are on SRM 5.0, ECC 6.0 , Extended Classic Scenario.
We configured the pricing conditions in SRM . We defined the our custom pricing condition types as below
Condition type      --- Condition Class       --- Calculation Type
Frieght(%)            ---       Prices                ---      Percentage
Frieght Value       ---        Prices                --- Fixed Amount
We also defined the Calculation Schema.
But when we try to define the pricing conditions in SRM during PO creation\change , the standard pricing condition types work but when we input the above defined custom pricing condition type, the value entered gets cleared. Pricing Overview is not calculating the values of the custom Pricing condition types.
Please assist as where i have gone wrong. Do I need to run any standard report for pricing or do i have to implement any BADI.

Customer pricing procedures As default value in BP Transaction (CRM)

Hi,
Is it possible to set a default Customer pricing procedure in transaction BP when choosing a Sales Area?
My problem is that we set just one Customer pricing procedure and the field is set as compulsory. But in some cases users manage to save the BP without precising the customer pricing procedure. Since it"s compulsory the replication to SD ends as a Bdocs notice partially sent BP to SD.
Most users have a red messaging saying they have to fill in the field with a "standard' customer pricing procedure but sometime they find a way to switch to next sales area without setting this information.
Thus came to my mind to set a default Customer pricing procedure so that users wont forget.
Is it possible?

I think your requirement shoul be anyway intercepted by a BAdI.

Making Customer Pricing procedure mandatory in BP Role-CRM 5.0

Our requirement is to make Customer Pricing procedure mandatory in BP Role "Sold to Party"-CRM 5.0. I have configured for the same in IMG Field Grouping. Now when a end user goes for BP creation & goes to Sales area maintenance then an error message is displayed for the same.
But if only general data is maintained then this message is not displayed. Now requirement is to display an error message if a person leaves without maintaining sales data.
Please help me in resolving this.

Customer pricing procedure in Sales transactions

Hello Experts,
In our CRM 2007 we have already customized the pricing procedure of the sales transactions for each sales area / document pricing procedure / customer pricing procedure. But creating sales transactions, our business needs system to take in consideration the customer pricing procedure of the partner in role Ship to party instead of the partner in role Sold to party. Could anybody help telling how to set it?

well... maybe my question is not clear... the thing is that as a sample, we have a:
1.Sales area = O 50000XXX
2.Sales document type with Pr. Procedure = A
3.SoldTo with Cust Pr. Procedure = 1
4.ShipTo with Cust Pr. Procedure = 2
When we create a sales document, system determines the Pr. Proc. of the doc as it was customized in view CRMV_PRCPROC_DET:
Sales area + Pr. Procedure of the sales doc type + Cust Pr. Procedure = Pr. Procedure of the sales doc
In our customizing we would like to have 2 rows (following the example)
O 50000XXX + A + 1 = ZPROC1
O 50000XXX + A + 2 = ZPROC2
We would need that system checks whether there is any Cust Pr Procedure in the master data of the ShipTo partner.
- If yes, the Pr. Procedure of the sales doc = ZPROC2
- If not, the Pr. Procedure of the sales doc = ZPROC1
but I have not managed to find where to adjust it (nor custom nor BADI). is there any idea or comment?

Condition PR00 not appeared in customized pricing procedure

I have customized Pricing Procedure RVAA01 to ZVAA01.
ZVAA01 is already consists of PR00 & PB00 condition types.
I have also maintained the condition record (VK11) for the sales orgDist. ch material+customer combination.
But Billing doesn't show the PR00 condition at all.
How to fix this issue.

Please whether the system is using the same pricing procedure for billing document that of the sales order- (i am assuming that in sales order it is populating the conditon typwe pr00)by going to the condtions tab in vf01
if yes it should flow check in ovkk what is the pricing procedue that is allocated to the combination of sales areadoppcupp(cust pric proc.),
here dopp(doc pric proc) of sales order and bill should be same like A
upadate me with the above findings so that i can propse the other solution
revert if helpful

I have written my own class loader to solve a specific problem. It
seemed to work very well, but then I started noticing strange errors in

I'm not quite sure how Java handles local classes defined within a method, but from this example it seems as if the local class isn't loaded until it is actually needed, that is when the method is called, which seems like a good thing to me.
The parent class is already loaded as you can see. It is the loading of the inner class that fails.
But maybe there is something I've forgotten in my loading code? I know in the "early days" you had to do a lot more to load a class, but I think all that is taken care of by the superclass of my classloader now. All I have to do is provide the raw data of the class. Isn't it so?

Customer pricing procedure is assigned to a BP in the sales area data under the billing tab.
Check for any bp using the following steps
1. Use tcode BP and enter the BP number.
2. Choose the role Sold to Party
3. Choose the tab Sales Area data.
4. Choose your sales area and open the Billing tab.
Here you can see the customer pricing procedure assigned to the BP.

Detecting when exception was thrown using custom class loader

I would like to implement the solution described here - http://stackoverflow.com/questions/75218/how-can-i-detect-when-an-exceptions-been-thrown-globally-in-java - that uses custom class loader in order to detect when an Exeption thrown somewhere in the JVM hosting my app, please note that exceptions might be thrown from 3rd party jars the app is using. So, thanks to help I got from another post, I've managed to code the custom class loader. My question is how can the class loader wrap the original exception, as the methods in ClassLoader deals with classes, not instances. So where should I set the original exception?

Please follow the path as below:
Firstly you need to configure pricing procedure,
1) please go to spro>Sales and distribution>Basic functions>pricing>Prcing control>define and assign pricing procedures> maintain pricing procedure and assign your conditions there regarding of your procedure.
2) customer pricing procedure, and document pricing procedure have standard options. ı think you do not need to maintain new one for them. but you should assign your document procedure to order type and billing type from spro>Sales and distribution>Basic functions>pricing>Prcing control>define and assign pricing procedures> Assign document pricing procedures to order types and Assign document pricing procedures to billing types.
3) Moreover, you need to maintain determination for sales doc. as combination of your pricing procedure+ sales orgdistChdvdoc. pricing procedurecustomer pricing proc.+condition type from spro>Sales and distribution>Basic functions>pricing>Prcing control>define and assign pricing procedures>Define Pricing Procedure Determination.
Finally, maintain your condition records from VK11 regarding of your access sequence. and maintain customer pricing procedure to your customer master from sales area sales tab in customer master data from XD02.
Please check these configurations and I hope these will solve your problem.

Create Custom Application Loader

I don't know whether this is the right forum to post the question or not.
My question is :
Can I write a custom class loader in Weblogic App server ? My basic requirement is to write a custom application loader with will first load some jar files from some remote machine and then will be loading the application. This jar files should not be made visible by any other application deployed in the the server. The class loader should also be a component of the application itself.
Say for example : The application name is "App1".
Ideal scenario
1) WLS boots up
2) It tracks all the applications
3) Reads some conf (or xml file) to trace the class loader name from App1
4) Adds the class loader to the Loader Repo, if any
5) When WLS feels it should load the applications i.e application loading step comes, it should detect that there is a custom loader associated to the application App1 and transfers control to it.The loader will load accordingly.
I really have no idea how this can be achieved. But if app servers provides extension to there class loader repo then each application can have their custom loaders if needed.
Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.

 - I rebooted the cluster

Currenty, the only way is to retrieve trace in the file defaultTrace10.log. (see my previous log capture)

Customer pricing procedure is changed after creating order

Hi Gurus,
the issue is   we have created an order and pricing procedure is determined in the order. Now the user wants to get a new pricing procedure determined for this order. So he have changed the Customer pricing procedure in Customer master data. He assumed that new pricing procedure will be determined for the order which is already created. But it didnt happen. As per my knowledge pricing procedure canot be redetermined for already created orders. My question is
how to redetermine the pricing procedure for the order ? is there any way to get a new pricing procedure for the order in change mode?
what should we do. we need to delete the order and create a new one or is there any way to get the new pricing procudure for the order?

   basically pricing prodeure is determined by a combination of three things
       Doc pricing procedureCustomer Pricing proceduresales area .
   You can see this using transaction OVKK. So you have to consider all the three things.
In sales doc we have the option of updating the pricing. If you do that i think it will redetermine the procedure and your issue will be solved.
