Custom Profiles LOV failed to find values in application

We are in phase of R12 upgrade, one of the Custom profile option has a SQL query to get the values. This query is giving data when fired in back end (after setting initialization). But when we navigate to Sys admin-->Profiles--> System. It gives error:
ERROR
No entries found for List of Values
APP-FND-01436 List of Values cannot find any values for you to choose
Cause: The List of Values execution failed to find any values.
Cause: The SQL statement specified to fdlfch() failed to return any values.
Action: Check the message stack for any SQL statement failure messages. Check to make sure your
SQL statement works in SQL*Plus. (ROUTINE=fdlfch)
we are facing issues only with our Custom profile.
Thanks for help!

Please see if (R12: Error APP-FND-01436 When Querying MO Profile Options [ID 455367.1]) helps.
If you still have the same issue, Please obtain the FRD file to get more details about the error -- http://forums.oracle.com/forums/search.jspa?threadID=&q=FRD+AND+R12&objID=c3&dateRange=all&userID=&numResults=15&rankBy=10001

  • Unable to set/update custom profile option value in R12.1.3

    Hi All,
I have defined a custom profile. After querying the custom profile and I select a value from the resulting LOV(popup).
Whenever I am trying to save the changes the LOV again pops up for selecting the value.

    Hi,
I think this is the wrong forum for this question. This forum is for questions about Oracle Enterprise Data Quality.

  • Peculiar attitude selecting a value from custom profile ...

    Hi,
I have a very strange situation in which sometimes the selection of a row of the lov on the default form of the EBS 11.5.10.(setting profile values, sysadmin responsibility, profiles->system) is not accepted and the lov appears again suddenly...
More specifically, as application developer responsibility we have defined a custom profile(setting a sql query, so as the user->the sysadmin should select from a custom table of a custom application).
Afterwards, as sysdamin resp. , the user should select a value for the profile from the lov defined and setting it at the responsibility level.(default form : Profile->system).
    Sometimes, but unfortunately the circumstances or the conditions are not reproducible, although the value the user desires and finds it in the lov, when selected the system does not accept it.... and the lov window re-appears ... the user selects it again and the lov appears again....and again...as the value selected from the lov is not valid....{but it is selected from the lov and there is no problem in the majority of cases....}
Does anybody have the slightest idea....a patch maybe...???
    Note: I use EBS 11.5.10, DB 10g v.2
I hope , i have described the problem so as to be understandable....
    Thank you,
    Sim

    Sim,
What is the client OS and browser? Can you reproduce the issue on multiple clients with different username?
Can you find any errors in application/database log files?
Can you reproduce the issue on a test (cloned) instance? If yes, I would suggest you enable debug and see if you can produce the issue and collect more details.
You may also enable debug on JRE/Jinitiator and see if any errors are logged (see Note: 549423.1 - How to enable tracing and logging for Sun JRE (Native Plug-in)).

  • How to attach custom form LOV to find (torch symbol) button

    Hi,
We are working on Oracle Applications 11.5.10.2. We are customizing new forms and registered with Oracle Apps, there are lov's on the form and we want to attach lov to the find button on tool menu.
Our requirement is when ever click on find button, it has to display all the values in the LOV. But our custom form is not reaching this requirement.
Please help us in this regard to make link between LOV and find button
    Thanks in Advance...
    Venky.

    Hi,
I can you make your requirement a bit clear.
From the below text what I could able to understand is, when we click on the browse button(i.e. tourch symbol) it should dispaly a list of values from which we can select a values and the form will display the records pertaining to onl those records .Is that True?
    Rgds,
    Naveen.

  • Real racing 3 - error, failed to find players

    Hi, first time here.
love RR3 but the online multiplayer can be a pain.
at times when I try to race it will be fine, but then often after a race when I want to race again it comes up with 'error, failed to find players', and once that happens I have to leave the game for a while, turn ipad off and on or reset ipad to be allowed to race again. This is with online multiplayer only, everything else works well. No perceived problems with game centre synching or my internet.
    any ideas?
    david.

    Hey Bendigodave,
One thing that may be happening is one or more of the players you just played with has left the party. If you mean when you exit out of a party and start another matchmaking, then you first want to check your internet speed and connection. you can download a speed test app for that. Secondly, a nice fresh start for your Game Center account may help. Signing out of Game Center by going to Settings>Game Center> Tapping on your blue apple ID and signing out, then signing back in. Maybe that will help something out? If not, make sure you're updated to the latest version of the app and iPad. 7.0.3 is a couple versions behind. iPads are currently on 7.1.2. If all else fails, contact EA about it. they have excellent customer service. I hope this helps!

  • WES 7 OSD standalone (works) vs bootable (fails) - Failed to find suitable device driver for device (help)

    Hi everyone,
I'm trying to deploy a Windows Embedded Standard 7 (trial key at the moment) image in SCCM 2012 SP1 with a very simple task sequence.
    I have a 'build and capture' and an OSD TS. I'm testing these on Hyper-V PCs and both work fine when i create stand alone media. The problem arrises when I try to deploy (or build & capture) with a bootable media;
The TS starts, formats the disk, applies the OS, Windows and network settings, Apply Device Drivers etc., but when it reboots into Windows
(or WES7 to be exact) it cant boot. The Windows Boot Manager reports a 0xc0000359 for storvsc.sys
And I can't figure out what's wrong. I will post the SMSTS log further down below. The SAME TS works fine when it's a stand alone media.
    I have tried to:
    - Apply the WIM manually (nothing wrong - boots fine)
    - Create and apply driver package for the Hyper-V machines (from the MSI's Windows5.x-HyperVIntegrationServices-x86 and Windows5.x-HyperVIntegrationServices-x64)
    - No dice
    - Create a new boot image with the hyper-v drivers in it. No dice
    - Google everything related I can think of.
I suspect it has something to do with the lines where it says:
"Failed to find a suitable device driver for device xxx”
It also has a couple of 401 errors when trying to get the packages, but it seems like it DOES end up getting the content.
Please help! What could it be?
I have 2 Hyper-V machines; one w. legacy network adapter - one not. Both have same issue.

  • ELoad throwing error - Failed to find navigation path

    Hi,
I have a script that runs fine in eTester but fails in eLoad with error - Failed to find navigation path when it tries to click on a dynamic link on a page. I think it records the text of the link based on what account I have searched on. If I iterate through my records in the data bank, the script runs just fine in eTester. However, it fails with the "Failed to find navigation path" error in eLoad. Any ideas?
    Thanks.

Are you able to build the regular expression without the company data?
For example if my html had this in it:
    <INPUT type="text" id=ticker name=ticker value="TER">
and I want to extract TER to use somewhere else, I would create a custom variable with this regular expression:
    <INPUT type="text" id=ticker name=ticker value="(.+?)">
I would have to make the regular expression smaller if the ticker was in there. For example if the html was
    <INPUT type="text" id=ticker name=ticker val= "Teradyne" value="TER">
I would have to make the regular expression:
    <INPUT type="text" id=ticker name=ticker val=".+?" value="(.+?)">

  • RGB to CYMK Custom Profile to Generate Specific Black Ink Mix 60/40/40/100

It seems simple. I could swear I used to do this 15 years ago in Photoshop 4 (not CS4). This is just not going so well...
I am working in Photoshop CS5 (for Mac) and am having a hard time with a particular RGB to CMYK conversion. Once turned into CMYK, I want my darkest, richest black to be a 60C 40M 40Y 100K mix. But I cannot find a way to make this happen.
The image came to me as RGB with an sRGB profile. To convert to CMYK, I am using the US Web Coated SWOP v2 profile (I have tried others... just using this as an example), but I am not getting a black that is close to what I want.
    RGB black converts into 75C 68M 67Y 90K. Even the "K" is not at a full 100%.
I cannot figure out how to force the black to be the numbers that I want. Can I do this? Can I create a custom, specialized profile without a spectrometer?
I know how to get to the custom profile dialog (by going to Color Settings, going to CMYK in the Working Spaces, clicking the pop-up and selecting "Custom CMYK" at the top. You get the screen called "Custom CMYK" with the Ink Options and Separation Options and the Grey Ramp). I just cannot find any thorough information in the User Manual that I downloaded from Adobe on what all of these controls do.
I have tried doing the conversion and then using levels to adjust the four channels closer to what I want, but this is damaging the quality of the shading in the image.
Any thoughts or places to start? Thanks in advance.
BTW, I could have chosen to go with a CMYK rich black of 25C 25M 25Y 100K if that makes things easier for some reason.

    @Jeff:
One of the problems with this is that Photoshop forces you to make your custom profile based off of an existing profile. So I looked around and I found that when using the US Web Coated SWOP profile I mentioned, I would turn RGB black into this:
    75C 68M 67Y 90K
Even the Black values aren't ramped up to full 100% there!
So I changed to Photoshop 4 CMYK default and I get:
    62C 50M 49Y 100K
This is much better for me, and I do get the full Black on the key plate.
I may have to use this, as I doubt that I am going to be able to do what I want without a massive research project and a bunch of numerical hoo-doo-guru.
Any additional suggestions would be great!

  • Beginner - need help with custom profiles

I've got 30-day demo versions of both Aperture and Lightroom trying to work out which is best for printing using custom profiles I've had done for a selection of textured art papers for use on my Epson R2400. I've read the printing documentation for both products.
In Aperture, I select print from the menu and open the print dialogue window. Then I open the printer settings window choosing the correct media and switching off Epson 'Color Adjustment' and saving the settings. Then I'm selecting my color profile from Aperture's 'ColorSync Profile' option in the print window and making sure 'Black Point Compensation' is selected. Then I'm pressing print.
In Lightroom 2, I select print from the menu and scroll down to the 'Color Management' tab in the print module. Here I'm choosing my custom profile from the drop down list and setting rendering intent as 'Perceptual'. On clicking the print button the default print window opens and I'm switching off Epson 'Color Adjustment' and selecting my preferred paper type. Then I'm pressing print.
Now I will admit that I'm new to printing with profiles and a complete newbie to Aperture and Lightroom. However, my prints from Lightroom are absolutely perfect, but colours are differing in Aperture prints. In particular, prints are slightly lighter and washed-out. I'm wondering if I might be missing a step somewhere in Aperture? It seems strange that both applications follow roughly the same print procedure yet I'm getting different results using the same profiles and images. I'd much rather use Aperture so I'm trying to seek an explanation for the change in colors.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

A lot of people including me have had problems in this area. There may have been some problems but in my case I was so absorbed in trying different solutions it is hard to say what worked when.
This works for me using an HP 9180:
    1. In the View drop down select Printing Profile and choose your paper. This step is not critical but can be helpful.
    2. select Print Image and we will work through the menu in sequence.
    3. Select your printer
    4. Click on Print settings
Click on the Cover Page arrows and you will be given a number of other choices. Select Paper Type/Quality. Select your paper and possibly adjust the other values but generally I leave these alone unless i specifically want Borderless printing.
    Click save
    5. back on the print menu select paper size. I usually select best fit next.
    6. Select Colorsync Profile and again select your paper.
    7. Keep Black Point clicked on.
    8. I find that I need to set my Gamma between 1.10 and 1.20.
    9. I usually click on the Loupe and check to see if Sharpening is needed.
    10. Adjust scaling and width to your needs.
    11. I then Print as I have not found that Previewing helps me to improve my Workflow.
It may all seem straightforward but this now works for me.
When this all started there were many saying how important it was to calibrate the screen, many tried this but is still did not help solve the problem. From what i understand all the Canon printers are capable of giving excellent results with Aperture. i hope that you join the community of satosfied users. Good luck.

  • In Camera Custom Profiles + LR4

    Hi Folks
I'm wondering if Lightroom 4 is capable of interpreting the custom profiles that I have set in my camera. For example, I have created some settings in my cameras, a Nikon D700 and D3, related to the adjustments of density and tone that can be done in-camera, which I would love if Lightroom would be able to load them.
By default, LR4 converts all the pictures to what it seems, the original state of the picture or, the factory defaults from camera onto the pictures.
I have not digged too much into this because I mostly shoot in Neutral Mode (factory default ofNikon) and, in RAW, but I have seen a noticeable difference between how the pictures look in-camera, and how they look in LR (since the first beta, by the way).
I have also seen that some people have uploaded to the web, different types of "camera calibration" pressets for different models of cameras and brands, but I have also noticed that those settings don't actualy work as they are supposed to.
Somehow, I'm assuming that LR4 is not able to match the in-camera configurations due my long experience since the first beta of LR, but I'm also asking if there is a way to make LR4 matching the same in-camera confiuguration.
So another thing that LR4 should come with, is a way to match adjustments between pictures, for example, with the User's Pressets or, between the "copy/paste adjustments" from a pic to another.
So... Well... Anyway... I have moved a "little bit" out off topic myself.
    ¡There you have it!

    Second comment:
"As far as match adjustments, uh, you know you can Sync image adjustments accross multiple images, right? And that you can apply a preset at import or later in the Library, right?
I think you need to learn a bit more how to use Lightroom...watch some of the free video tutorials availabe at Adobe TV."
    Third comment (yours):
"...or learn how to use all of LR's tools".
    And I have said:
"Yes, I'm pretty much concerned about Lightroom and the Sync Feature; it does exists since the first version of Lightroom that came out (even before, when it was just Camera Raw inside PS)".
"I do that, but pressets never gives the same style to different pictures, even if they're a little bit different and that's why I said that LR should have a function similar to the Match Color found in Adobe Photoshop."
"I have never shot in JPEG."
"I'm very concerned about Digital Imaging".
    My question is:
"I'm wondering if Lightroom 4 is capable of interpreting the custom profiles that I have set in my camera."
And none of the answers have addressed to my question. So I put some images done just in LR (which have taken me 8 hours at least) in order to establish that yes, I use Lightroom a lot and every aspect of it since the day that LR wasn't created but Camera RAW.
To be perfectly honest I have no idea what you mean by "creating a few great custom in-camera settings," since you say "I have never shot in JPEG."
In-camera Custom Pressets are useful for certain situations, so for example, I have confgured the camera for certain landscape/waterscape photography, for fashion and for black & white, even if I shot in RAW, I like having a fast feedback in the LCD camera display about how will come the shot with the custom settings I did and, enhance the picture from my settings and not from zero (like when importing the pictures into Lightroom). There are amazing ways to create fantastic custom pressets in-camera, which are applied to every single picture without any kind of change in the process. I can use the same presset in every single situation without getting unmatched results from picture to picture (like it happens in LR when applying X presset to other pics).
The Camera Calibration Panel and pressets are not able to match the color/density interpreted by the camera itself, even if I pass moving the sliders for hours (from every panel). LR does its own demosaicing. Even the WB is changed (slight, but noticieable). Yes, I know that each RAW Editor demosaices the image in its own way, which shouldn't be that way, at least, not LR.
For example, Aperture is very, very accurate when demosaicing RAW Files (specially in color interpretation and edition), but I preffer LR for certain things, like for B&W editing. For color, I usually go more into Aperture because it is more accurate and with less gaps between values, but I use both programs, therefore, I edit each picture in both programs and select the pic with the best look.
The only other way these custom settings can be applied to the raw image file is using Nikon's raw converter software.
That was the first RAW Editor I used when I got the Nikon D700 (my First Nikon), but's quite sloppy and obsolete. Even the Nikon Capture doesn't demoisaic the pictures accurately. It's better than any other editor for NEF Files, of course, it's the Nikon's Editor, but not perfct in this matter.
Are these examples of LR's inability to duplicate your in-camera presets?
No, these examples were taken with the Neutral Factory Default Presset from the Nikon to show that I actually use Lightroom a lot, with a deep knowledge about how it works in order to avoid the "¿do you know how to sync, create pressets and use the Camera Calibration Panel?" kind of questions.
If so please post the images with your in-camera presets applied for comparison and explain why they are better.
It's not a matter of quality, but a matter of an accurate interpretation from Camera to Computer thing. I want to enhance what I already have with my in-camera pressets instead of starting from zero. Just in case: yes, I have all my devices perfectly calibrated.
Thanks anyway... I will keep trying,
