  • Customizing report, list all GL items open as of a key date

    Hi Experts,
    For a customizing report, i have to list all those GL items open as of a key date, though they may be cleared now.
    i m finding in GL open items table BSIS, i can find open items (uncleared) only.
    please help me in developing this logic.
    Regards,

    Table BSAS has cleared items but it also includes the clearing date, so you can combine results from both tables.

  • Custom Reports don't match Device List

    Hi,
    I have been trying to get a report from a cerain site that shows me to contain 545 devices (PC/Laptops).
    When I create a report to give me a complete list of devices from that site I will get a total of 381. No matter how I try to tweak the custom report I don't get anywhere near the devices listed in the site.
    Is there a known issue with reporting?
    Is there anyother site I can check out for more info?
    Server = ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with SP1 (10.1)
    Client = 10.1.3
    ThanX

    I have yet to find a solution for my issue.
    No matter how much i tweak my reports they never match the number of devices listed in a site.
    Only sites that contain under 10 devices do the reports pull a proper number and match the number of devices.
    Still no Luck.

  • Archive process hung on all cisco devices - help

    I have Archive setup on all of my devices in the enviornment to archive configs via tftp to a server on the network.  A team mate of mine elected to down that box because the "did no know what it was."  Now I have a process hung on every one of my cisco devices that is preventing the archive from performing.  I am hoping to find a way to stop this process short of a rebuild of every on of my devices.

    Appologies, I assume most would realize this...but I meant to say "short of a REBOOT of every ONE of my devices".  Symptom to too many things at once.  Thanks.

  • Can Cisco Mars do the reporting for all devices (checkpint, ISS etc)

    Is this is true that cisco mars can do the reporting for all the devices(like checkpoint, juniper, sonicwall, and IBM-ISS ) devices.
    Requesting plz reply ASAP

    no, it's not true. the following MARS lists what mars has direct support for:
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/security_management/cs-mars/4.3/compatibility/local_controller/dtlc43x.html
    Anything else would require creating a custom parser, which is great functionality to have in a pinch but is a major pita to maintain. That's one of the biggest reasons to buy a SIM in the first place, so you don't have to manage parsing yourself.

  • Customized report on Cisco Prime 2.0

    Hi to all,
    I'm searching for a customized report on the Cisco PI 2.0. I'd like to have a report showing an inventory of my APs wit their ethernet mac, radio mac, IP, serial number. I did have a look at the 'device' part available on the Report launchpad  but cannot find what I want.
    Do you know where I can find this kind of report? Or any way to choose the columns I want?
    Thanks!
    Theo

    HI,
    YEs you can do it via PI.
    GO to Report launch pad >Device > Inventory then click on New

  • Custom Report with Problems and incidents

    I'm trying to create a custom report of all problems and related incidents.  I can query the problemDimvw table, but I need some assistance linking to the incidents.  Anyone have a query or point me in a direction to join the necessary tables?
     What I'm trying to get is Problem ID, Title, Description, and Incident IDs linked to it.  Thanks.

    I know PowerShell can help you with the Get-SCSMRelatedObject command but you would have to write a small script to get that to work en mass.

  • Rights to Inventory Custom Reports

    Hi
    On our ZCM zone (recently upgraded to ZCM 11.2.1) only the "Administrator" can view Inventory Custom Reports. All other admins (including superadmins) see nothing in the Inventory Custom Reports list. If they create a new report the name is accepted but never shows. If another attempt is made it states "folder already exists".
    I have given full access to all custom reports with the following but still they never show in ZCC for superadmins (browsers: ie8, ie9, firefox 10.0.5)
    ZCC->Configuration->Click the adminuser -> rights tab -> assign rights through "Inventory Report Rights" in the left pane under "Administrator Tasks"
    I have also added the specific "Reporting Rights" for the adminusers to the Reports folder but the result is the same. They should not need the reporting rights anyway as they are superadmins.
    Any suggestions on how to make this work?
    Thanks

    /Daniel
    I vaguely remember running into this. No, you don't need to give them super admin, but you have to do something odd/funky. It was supposed to have been fixed in 11.2 and it wasn't. I vaguely remember it was TID #7007898
    We had 2 issues with that.
    1) if you didn't get rid of the .xml file it would generate errors/exceptions (at least if you're using Oracle), so it wouldn't actually run/do what it was supposed to do (that's the bug/defect that was supposedly fixed)
    2) Try running it manually with the zman rpfs instead
    I think that fixed it for us.
    We have non-super admin users who can see custom reports that one of our other non-super admins has created.

  • ISE version 1.0 - Unable to get management access for cisco devices

    Hi All,
    I want to manage all cisco devices with read and write privilege with ISE 1.0.
    Is this functionality is available in this version?
    I configured the 2960 switch.  On switch  redius test is successful. When I telnet to the switch, it ask for username and password. But message is authorization fail. But on ISE shows authentication is successful.
    Is it configuration issue or this feature is not available in this version?
    Regards,
    Hanumant

    Hanumant,
    You will have to create an authorization profile to send back the privilege level for the user:
    Here is the attribute (cisco-av-pair) you will have to send back:
    shell:priv-lvl=xx

  • Cisco Devices Syslog monitoring and user monitoring tools

    Can anyone help me how to monitoring syslog and users log (which command use specific user). if any software or hardware need for this purpose we will purchace it. note that our network running all cisco devices (router, switch, ASA etc) and more then 200 devices are in our network.

    Configuring Cisco Devices to Use a Syslog Server
    Most Cisco devices use the syslog protocol to manage system logs and  alerts. But unlike their PC and server counterparts, Cisco devices lack  large internal storage space for storing these logs. To overcome this  limitation, Cisco devices offer the following two options:
    Internal buffer— The device's operating system  allocates a small part of memory buffers to log the most recent  messages. The buffer size is limited to few kilobytes. This option is  enabled by default. However, when the device reboots, these syslog  messages are lost.
    Syslog— Use a UNIX-style SYSLOG protocol to send  messages to an external device for storing. The storage size does not  depend on the router's resources and is limited only by the available  disk space on the external syslog server. This option is not enabled by  default.
    TIP
    Before configuring a Cisco device to send syslog messages, make  sure that it is configured with the right date, time, and time zone.  Syslog data would be useless for troubleshooting if it shows the wrong  date and time. You should configure all network devices to use NTP.  Using NTP ensures a correct and synchronized system clock on all devices  within the network. Setting the devices with the accurate time is  helpful for event correlation.
    To enable syslog functionality in a Cisco network, you must configure the built-in syslog client within the Cisco devices.
    Cisco devices use a severity level of warnings through emergencies to  generate error messages about software or hardware malfunctions. The  debugging level displays the output of debug commands. The Notice level  displays interface up or down transitions and system restart messages.  The informational level reloads requests and low-process stack messages.
    Configuring Cisco Routers for Syslog
    To configure a Cisco IOS-based router for sending syslog messages to  an external syslog server, follow the steps in Table 4-11 using  privileged EXEC mode.
    Table 4-11. Configuring Cisco Routers for Syslog
    Step
    Command
    Purpose
    1
    Router# configure terminal
    Enters global configuration mode.
    2
    Router(config)# service timestamps type datetime [msec] [localtime] [show-timezone]
    Instructs the system to timestamp syslog messages; the options for the type keyword are debug and log.
    3
    Router(config)#logging host
    Specifies the syslog server by IP address or host name; you can specify multiple servers.
    4
    Router(config)# logging trap level
    Specifies the kind of messages, by severity level, to be  sent to the syslog server. The default is informational and lower. The  possible values for level are as follows:
    Emergency: 0
    Alert: 1
    Critical: 2
    Error: 3
    Warning: 4
    Notice: 5
    Informational: 6
    Debug: 7
    Use the debug level with caution, because it can generate a large amount of syslog traffic in a busy network.
    5
    Router(config)# logging facility facility-type
    Specifies the facility level used by the syslog messages; the default is local7. Possible values are local0, local1, local2, local3, local4, local5, local6, and local7.
    6
    Router(config)# End
    Returns to privileged EXEC mode.
    7
    Router# show logging
    Displays logging configuration.
    Note
    When a level is specified in the logging trap level command, the router is configured to send messages with lower severity levels as well. For example, the logging trap warning command configures the router to send all messages with the  severity warning, error, critical, and emergency. Similarly, the logging trap debug command causes the router to send all messages to  the syslog server. Exercise caution while enabling the debug level.  Because the debug process is assigned a high CPU priority, using it in a  busy network can cause the router to crash.
    Example 4-12 prepares a Cisco router to send syslog messages at  facility local3. Also, the router will only send messages with a  severity of warning or higher. The syslog server is on a machine with an  IP address of 192.168.0.30.
    Example 4-12. Router Configuration for Syslog
    Router-Dallas#
    Router-Dallas#config terminal
    Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
    Router-Dallas(config)#logging 192.168.0.30
    Router-Dallas(config)#service timestamps debug datetime localtime show-timezone
       msec
    Router-Dallas(config)#service timestamps log datetime localtime show-timezone msec
    Router-Dallas(config)#logging facility local3
    Router-Dallas(config)#logging trap warning
    Router-Dallas(config)#end
    Router-Dallas#show logging
    Syslog logging: enabled (0 messages dropped, 0 flushes, 0 overruns)
        Console logging: level debugging, 79 messages logged
        Monitor logging: level debugging, 0 messages logged
        Buffer logging: disabled
        Trap logging: level warnings, 80 message lines logged
            Logging to 192.168.0.30, 57 message lines logged
    Configuring a Cisco Switch for Syslog
    To configure a Cisco CatOS-based switch for sending syslog messages  to an external syslog server, use the privileged EXEC mode commands  shown in Table 4-12.
    Table 4-12. Configuring a Cisco Switch for Syslog
    Step
    Command
    Purpose
    1
    Switch>(enable) set logging timestamp {enable | disable}
    Configures the system to timestamp messages.
    2
    Switch>(enable) set logging server ip-address
    Specifies the IP address of the syslog server; a maximum of three servers can be specified.
    3
    Switch>(enable) set logging server severity server_severity_level
    Limits messages that are logged to the syslog servers by severity level.
    4
    Switch>(enable) set logging server facility server_facility_parameter
    Specifies the facility level that would be used in the message. The default is local7.  Apart from the standard facility names listed in Table 4-1, Cisco  Catalyst switches use facility names that are specific to the switch.  The following facility levels generate syslog messages with fixed  severity levels:
    5: System, Dynamic-Trunking-Protocol, Port-Aggregation-Protocol, Management, Multilayer Switching
    4: CDP, UDLD
    2: Other facilities
    5
    Switch>(enable) set logging server enable
    Enables the switch to send syslog messages to the syslog servers.
    6
    Switch>(enable) Show logging
    Displays the logging configuration.
    Example 4-13 prepares a CatOS-based switch to send syslog messages at  facility local4. Also, the switch will only send messages with a  severity of warning or higher. The syslog server is on a machine with an  IP address of 192.168.0.30.
    Example 4-13. CatOS-Based Switch Configuration for Syslog
    Console> (enable) set logging timestamp enable
    System logging messages timestamp will be enabled.
    Console> (enable) set logging server 192.168.0.30
    192.168.0.30 added to System logging server table.
    Console> (enable) set logging server facility local4
    System logging server facility set to
    Console> (enable) set logging server severity 4
    System logging server severity set to <4>
    Console> (enable) set logging server enable

  • Tool to Collect Inventory of Cisco devices in Network

      Hi,
     Would like to check if there is any free tool available which can help me to collect Inventory of my all Cisco Devices in my network.
     Please help
    Regards
    MAC

    For windows i only used the trial of solarwinds (wich is really good.) it also has free tools.
    If you are only looking for inventory purposes or you are looking for a monitoring tool too?
    For inventory you can use the ip address tracker (a free tool from solarwinds.)
    PRTG from Paessler will let you monitor up to 10 devices for free. if you want more you have to pay.
    Spiceworks (never try it) but i think its decent for inventory but if you want to monitor the devices you have you have to buy extra plugins (i think, not really sure.)
    And that´s what comes to my mind for now
    Regards!

  • Need to find All Custom Reports which are based on SAP standard reports

    Hi Specialists,
    I would like to find out all the customized reports which are a copy of SAP standard reports in the client's system.
    For Eg. RPCP11G0 is the SAP standard report which has been customized & it's code has been re-written into a Custom report i.e. ZGBPPYMP001_P11D.
    I would like to know all such occurences in the system.
    Steps already done:
    1) Tried searching with RPR_ABAP_SOURCE_SCAN & RS_ABAP_SOURCE_SCAN.
    Please suggest .
    Thanks
    Abhinav.

    it's only possible with an tool-program
    when your developers have not change the line with the REPORT-command.
    e.g.
    standard-report is RAGITT01
    copy is ZC_RAGITT01 or sth like this
    but report line is unchanged in copy:  "REPORT RAGITT01 MESSAGE-ID AB..."
    solution:
    select all reports from TRDIR/TADIR  from your Z/Y-device classes
    and analyse the reports with
    read report ZC_RAGITT01 into wa.
    and use find for searching 'report-command'.
    and check whether the result of that finding is an standard abap
    hope that helps

  • Custom Report Erroring when using All as parameter

    Hi All,
    I am facing a problem in running custom report.
    => DB Server Info
    RDBMS : 11.2.0.2.0
    Oracle Applications : 12.1.3
    I am getting following error.
    REP-1401: 'afterpform': Fatal PL/SQL error occurred.
    ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error
    custom report two parameters one is date parameter and name parameter
    date parameter is using as fnd_date.canonical_to_date(:P_EFFECTIVE_DATE) in queries.
    if I give name parameter for individual, then it works fine.
    if I give name parameter as "All", then its erroring. I tried it in my best way, but its not working.
    variable data length increased though its not working, can any one help me on this please....
    Here is the Afterpform code
    function AfterPForm return boolean is
    lName VARCHAR2(5000); -- its changed from lName varchar2(50);
    begin
    IF :P_NAME <> 'All' THEN
    lName:= 'AND name =:P_NAME';
    ELSE
    lName:='AND name in                                                             (select name from <******>
              order by name
    END IF;
    :P_Where_Clause := lName;
    return (TRUE);
    end;
    Thanks for all your help so far.
    Ram.
    Edited by: user8822881 on Feb 9, 2012 10:43 AM

    excuse i understood that you use All as parameter name
    ORA 6502 is when you assign a char to a number or when assign a value which length is greater than the variable length
    what's the dimension of p_where_clause for example?
    you can trace with srw.message
    --- <Code>
    function AfterPForm return boolean is
    lName VARCHAR2(5000); -- its changed from lName varchar2(50);
    begin
    srw.message(1,'step 1');
    IF :P_NAME = 'All' THEN
    srw.message(2,'step 2');
    lName:='AND name in (select name from <table>
    order by name
    srw.message(3,'step 3');
    ELSE
    srw.message(4,'step 4');
    lName:= 'AND name =:P_NAME';
    srw.message(5,'step 5');
    END IF;
    srw.message(6,'step 6');
    :P_Where_Clause := lName;
    srw.message(7,'step 7');
    return (TRUE);
    end;
    ---</Code>
    i think your query is not good
    for example
    lName:= 'AND name =:P_NAME';
    when instance the query the query search this condition but no use the value of p_name parameter
    write
    lName:= 'AND name = '||''''||:P_NAME||''''; then :p_name take the value

  • Is there anyone at all here who has successfully compiled and deployed an SSRS custom report item in VS2012?

    Is there anyone at all here who has successfully compiled and deployed an SSRS custom report item in VS2012?  Is there a demo out there that actually works in VS2012?  Is there anyone who has actually been able to compile and deploy that
    apparently obsolete Polygons demo?  (Pardon my impatience but I'm running a bit short of time here.)
    After much hacking and googling I was able to get Polygons to compile but I still can't deploy it to the toolbox.  ('The custom report item type PolygonsDesigner is not installed').   I've modified the RSReportDesigner.config
    as instructed but I have no rssrvpolicy.config file on my local machine and
    as yet I have no idea if that is necessary for local development.
    In order to get it to compile I first added the reference  C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0\Common7\IDE\PrivateAssemblies\Microsoft.ReportingServices.ProcessingCore.dll to both projects.
    To the PolygonsDesigner Project I also added the references:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0\Common7\IDE\PrivateAssemblies\Microsoft.ReportDesigner.Controls.dll
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0\Common7\IDE\PrivateAssemblies\Microsoft.ReportingServices.Designer.11.0.dll
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\110\Tools\Binn\Microsoft.ReportingServices.Interfaces.dll
    Are these the correct references?
    Exactly what software do you need installed on your local machine in addition to VS2012 in order to create a custom control?
    (Designer.11.0 was added per the instructions in reference: https://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/details/783391/unable-to-integrate-previously-working-ssrs-custom-report-item-to-vs-2012s-toolbox
    After that I added the alias RSDesigner to it's properties and   extern alias RSDesigner; at the top of the PolygonsDesigner.cs file. )
    As of now, the top of the PolygonsDesigner.cs is as follows.  I don't recall making any other changes to the code.  As far as I can remember this is all I did in order to be able to compile the code in VS2012.
        extern alias RSDesigner;
        using System;
        using System.ComponentModel;
        using System.ComponentModel.Design;

        public class PolygonsDesigner : CustomReportItemDesigner
        {   etc...

    Just fixed this myself.
    It appears the documentation online is wrong and the sample code is missing a reference to a reporting services dll and an attribute.
    What you need to do to get it working in VS2012 is add a reference to: Microsoft.ReportingServices.designer.11.0.dll to the PolygonsDesigner project and then add the following attribute to the PolygonsDesigner class: [ToolboxItem(typeof(Microsoft.ReportDesigner.Shell.CRIToolboxItem))]
    I also removed the [System.CLSCompliant(false)] attribute.
    You then recompile and place both dlls in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0\Common7\IDE\PrivateAssemblies directory and the PolygonsDesigner.dll into the C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS11.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\ReportServer\bin
    or what ever is you reporting services path.
    You also need to change the Microsoft example for the rereportserver.config file to:
        <ReportItemDesigner>
       <ReportItem Name="Polygons" Type="Microsoft.Samples.ReportingServices.PolygonsDesigner, PolygonsDesigner" />
        </ReportItemDesigner>
        <ReportItems>
       <ReportItem Name="Polygons" Type="Microsoft.Samples.ReportingServices.PolygonsCRI,PolygonsCRI"/>
        </ReportItems>
     Notice that I changed the namespaces and class to what is in the actual code so if you change it make sure you change it here.
    And here in the RSReportDesigner.config:
    <ReportItems>
          <ReportItem Name="Polygons" Type="Microsoft.Samples.ReportingServices.PolygonsCustomReportItem,PolygonsCRI" />
        </ReportItems>
        <ReportItemDesigner>
          <ReportItem Name="Polygons" Type="Microsoft.Samples.ReportingServices.PolygonsDesigner, PolygonsDesigner" />
        </ReportItemDesigner>
        <ReportItemConverter>
          <Converter Source="Chart" Target="Polygons" Type="PolygonsCRI.PolygonsConverter, PolygonsDesigner" />
        </ReportItemConverter>
    Notice I haven't changed the last part as I didn't know what the PolygonsCRI.PolygonsConverter was.
    And make sure the rssrvpolicy.config looks like this:
         <CodeGroup class="UnionCodeGroup" version="1" PermissionSetName="FullTrust" Description="This code group grants PolygonsCRI.dll FullTrust permission. ">
           <IMembershipCondition class="UrlMembershipCondition" version="1" Url="C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10_50.SQLSERVER\Reporting Services\ReportServer\bin\PolygonsCRI.dll" />
        </CodeGroup>
    After a restart of ssrs and relaunch of VS2012 I opened a test project and added the PolygonsDesigner.dll to the toolbox and it works.

  • All line items on a Cost Center Are archived, do not see in custom reports - error No actual line items were selected

    Hello, experts !
    Please advise,
    I have a cost center,
    on witch I know there are bookings,
    1. I do KSB1, have message "No actual line items were selected"
    2. I select - extras - data source - archive
    in this way I can see my items.
    ok.
    maybe all bookings are archived.
    no:
    I de a new movement on this CC - KB11N (exemple) - and on the new one I have the same problem
    I se it only when I check "archive",
    and do not see it on custom reports.
    Why ?
    Ay idea ?

    Dear Jonny,
    Check the T Code: S_ALR_87013611
    Then T Code: KSB1 by removing all the filters like date restriction..etc.
    Still if you are not finding the postings:
    Check the postings in the T code FAGLB03 - Display Balances by giving GL Account.
    Postings happen in co module if there is a cost object.
    If there is no cost object it will not flow to controlling, that will be in FI.
    What you need to do is:
    Select your GL
    Select your Payment date
    Select your Document number.
    You can check the same in FBL3N also.
    go to the transaction summary and verify the cost object whether it is a cost center or Order...etc.
    Also check whether the payment is in parking stage ....?
