Custom reports execution in Winclient CIC

I wanted to know the possibility of running customer on-line reports within winclient cic. this allows the agent not to leave the cic to run reports that extracts information for the customer call.

multiple possibilities:
- a transaction can point to a report (with standard selection screen 1000)
- a transaction can also point to a module pool (with any screen from the module pool)
--> The CIC will jump to the transaction, and you'll be able to return to the CIC afterwards, but it will not show the transaction within the CIC (standard "call transaction and return"-statement).
It's probably possible to define your own screen and call that as a subscreen in a workplace, but I haven't done it yet.

    Hi,
    What is the type of the report? Is it bitmap? If yes, please make sure that the DISPLAY is set properly. Also, change the report type to text and see if you can submit the request successfully.

  • Error REP-0300: ORACLE error occurred while running Custom Report

    Hi Team.
    We are facing a very strange issue here.
    We have an env , where all the custom reports are failing .Whereas the concerned env is a clone of the Production instance . There is one more instacne which is also a clone of the prod, over there these reports are working fine .
    I have checked all the thread here about this error, but could not get the required information .
    We are on RHEL 5 on Linux 64 bit server.
    Could you please guide me , how to figure out whats the difference between these cloned instances .
    We have an Sr with Oracle Support but its progressing very slowly.

    Please confirm that you have the patches mentioned in (Doc ID 1368715.1) applied.
    I understand this is a cloned instance, but this error is intermittent and having the patches applied should clear our doubts.

    Hi,
    The custom report that you develop will only be able to provide information that is accessible in the Integration Engine. i.e. say there is a message which has passed through IE but failed in the adapter, then as your program will extract the details from IE, you will get a success in the report where as it is actually failed in the AE. Hence i am not sure if there is a way to get the details that you want. However you can get the duration of execution and other details from Performance monitoring in XI. Not sure if this helps but i would suggest you have a look at that and check if it helps in anyway.

  • Customized Reports running slow in PRD system.

    Dear all,
    All the zreports in our PRD system(900) is running very slow recently.
    Simple customized reports which used to and should take very less time
    are taking more than 10 mins. for execution. Some customized reports are not
    getting excecuted even after 30 mins. The program is not throwing dump
    because the instance profile parameter max_wprun_time has been extended
    to 99999.
    Pls. help regarding how to solve the problem.

  • How to define parameters in custom reports registration

    dear experts
    In my custom report i need to register some parameters and i did so earlier on .. but this time i need some kind of constant lov feild in my report parameters and i cant able to do that .. lets suppose i have parameter on flow status and it is 'SHIPPED' or 'CLOSED' . if i want to see data based on 'SHIPPED' lines, i want to select 'SHIPPED' from my lov, otherwise 'CLOSED' and one more condition may be BOTH for that i use '%' with LIKE ...
    Right now i m using charector 10 constant in concurrent > program > define.
    And when my report run it ask value for my parameter and i have write the exact value ..other wise it not run .. i want to creat fix lov feild for input parameter .
    Do suggust me .. how can i do that .

    You can create a new value set by following the steps:
    Go to Application Developer -> Validation -> Set and create a new value set by giving:
    1. Value set name
    2. Type
    3. Size
    4. Validation type -> select as independent
    Save the changes
    Then go to Application Developer -> Validation values and query for your value set that you created in your previous step.
    Then add the values 'SHIPPED','CLOSED','BOTH' on the list and save changes.
    Then go to concurrent program -> define and query for your concurrent program and change the value set for that parameter to the one you created.
    Then run the report by selecting a value from the LOV.
    For Both you can use something like this:
    a.flow_status:= NVL(:P_flow_status, a.flowstatus)Dont use LIKE operator as it my slow down the report execution in case if the reoprt is huge

    We have managed to introduce some custom BI reports, but would like
    to be able to add additional sections to the reports page on OER, It seems
    that we can only add a single one. Creating additional ".toc" files do not
    seem to be recognised by OER. The only ".toc" files recognised are the standard
    ones and "custom.toc". Furthermore, the xml files that "custom.toc" refers to
    only seem to support very limited capability compared to the other
    files (e.g. projecPortfolioProductivity.toc, etc...)
    We really need to extend our custom reports significantly over and
    above what appears to be available and utilise the full capability of
    BI Publisher

      After deploy it, if you go to: Content Management->Report->Document Access Report->Schedule and planning its running.
    Then if you click in the name of this report, you can see the result (xml files) of this execution.
      Also, from System Administration->Monitoring->KM->Running Reports->you can see all reports that are currently running on all KM servers

  • Report execution terminated due to oversized report data.

    We are trying to run the OOTB report Trend By Category-Spend Trend Analysis by category.We are getting the message
    "Report execution terminated due to oversized report data. Apply filters to narrow down result set." But we are not getting the link to Bex however the report is displayed in UI.
    We get Bex link for other large reports.
    Why is it not directing to Bex in this case?

    Hi Neel,
    You typically get a message (which can be customized in the 'Application Properties') when the size of a reports exceeds beyond a certain limit (which can also be customized in the 'Application Properties').  In the application properties you can turn on a check box that provides a Bex link.
    So if you receive this message along with the BEx link for other reports and not for specific reports, this tells me that there might be other errors in these reports thats preventing from displaying the message.  Please check under the UI application logs and also the portal logs to see if there are any additional messages, may be that will give you some clue as to what the problem might be.

    If you want to add a field which is a part of any of the table strutures  mentioned in
    spro ->icwinclient -> Customer Specific System Modifications for IC -> Define customer specific search control
    ,then all you have to do is to add an entry here
    eg. Z_ISM_BPSEARCH     CCMADDRESSFIELDS     STR_SUPPL2     X
    The corresponding entry on the html template for this would be
    eg. <TR>
              <TH align=left  width=28%>Apartment Name</TH>
              <TD width=72%><INPUT name=STR_SUPPL2 size=60 maxLength=60 type=TEXT/PLAIN>
              </TD>
            </TR>
    If you want a field which is not part of any of the structures mentioned above then you've got alot to do.
    1.Enhance one of the strutures mentioned above.
    2.Make a Z copy of CRM_CIC_BP_SUB function group and
      make few customization settings accordingly.
    3.Finally in the START_BUPA_SEARCH routine of 
      Z_CCMCS_BP_SEARCH2 function module you have to build
      in your own logic for search based on your newly added
      field.

  • Custom transactions execution from base on conifguration table entry.

    I have a reqiurement where I name of the custom Transaction programs are maintained in a configuration table.
    I am creating a custom report on whose execution, the selection screen should show the name name of all those transaction proigrams in form of radio button which I can execute.
    The problam is that the configuration table can have multiple custom transaction entries over there and it can get changed every day. How can I acieve this reuqirement ?

    The most important thing is the program is assigned to authorizationg group. (From Technical Perspective)
    Authorization Group
    Authorization group to which the program is assigned.
    The assignment of a program to an authorization group plays a role when the system checks whether the user is authorized to:
    Execute a program
    --> Authorization object S_PROGRAM
    Edit a program (-Include) in the ABAP Workbench
    --> Authorization object S_DEVELOP
    Programs that are not assigned to an authorization group are not protected against display and execution.
    Security-related programs should, therefore, always be assigned to an authorization group.
    Report RSCSAUTH can also be used to assign programs to authorization groups. This report is documented in detail.

    2. Check whether there is any standard reports available to suffice your requirement

    No My client requirement is not like that,suppose one fine day if he wants to track the positon of GRN document or a bill at what stagei.e.,if in FI if they say they have not received any document to process or they hold the document for days and say just today GRN has been handed over to him ,The Materials guy has to generate a report and say this is the day the document is handed over to you.
    Is this can be done.or only out of SAP.
