Custom Ringtones no longer working?

I recently installed 2.02 and just replaced my 8GB iPhone with a 16GB phone. Strangely, my old custom ringtones are on my new phone, but I am not able to add new ones. I am running ITunes 7.7 and am creating a custom MP3, I add it to Itunes then convert to AAC. I go to the folder that the m4a file is located, rename to m4r and sync. Did Apple stop custom ringtones in 2.02?

regarding the ringtones, i was able to set custom ringtones myself, but ever since i did that i get errors when synching my phone in the form that some app's dont work, have any of you had this problem?

After iTunes/Yosemite updates, custom ringtones no longer available in Contacts on Mac but are on iPhone

After updating to Yosemite, my custom ringtones are no longer associated with particular contacts on my Mac. They seem to be in the right place in iTunes (ver. 12, updated at same time), and are still assigned to contacts on my iPhone (OS 8.1)--I haven't synched contacts, but I can't figure out how to get them re-assigned to specific contacts on the computer. when they're not there to be selected. These are a combination of purchased and GarageBand ringtones, and have been in use for years. Here's what I've tried:
In iTunes > Tones: Deselecting the ringtones, syncing (connected to mac). Then re-selcting and synching again. Ringtones are still visible on the iphone in Sounds, and in iTunes, but not available from within Contacts on the Mac.
Still in iTunes, used Get Info to identify where in Finder Tones are kept, which for me is: ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music/Tones/. Copied all of them, moved the originals to the trash. (Did not empty.) Restarted. Didn't make a difference. I put everything back.
I have had this problem once before with an OS upgrade or new iPhone, I'm not sure which, but the de-selecting/selecting had worked. Not this time, however. My mistake may have been to update to Yosemite before updating my phone to OS8.1, but that's the way it was presented to me, and I didn't realize it would matter. My preference is to sync my contacts. But this became de-selected during the update. (Other prefs changed, also, for example--I prefer local backup, and it defaulted to iCloud.)

Custom Field no longer works as an attribute since upgrade from 5.2 to 5.3

We have just upgrade from CUP 5.2 to CUP 5.3 SP8.1 and it seems that the custom field that could be used in 5.2 as an attribute in the logic used to control initiators no longer works as an attribute in 5.3. The initiators that are now configured with the custom field still work but when we try to change or create a new one it errors saying that the custom field is not an attribute and stops me from including it to use as a flag. I looked in the attribute tabs list and the custom field is not listed but it still show in the drop down list in the change initiator screen select attributes selection.
Has anyone else seen this and if so do you know how to allow us to use a custom field as an attribute in the initiator select attributes screen.

DRM Ringtones no longer work

I purchased 4 ".dcf" ringtones from VW and they have been working until a couple of days ago. They are on my phone (not SD card) but suddenly no longer work and are no longer seen on the settings>sound>phone ringtone list. When I go to one of these files and tap it,I get a message "unable to open this type of file.". Anyone have any idea on how to fix this issue?

I had the same problem on an iPhone 4, but none of my ringtones would work - the phone would only vibrate when ringing. I did a hard reset by doing the following and that fixed the problem for me:
Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for about ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Custom Ringtones don't Work

Custom ringtones for my contacts are not working. They show up on my iphone as being assigned to the correct contact, but when receiving a call from that contact, it comes through with the default ringtone. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If these are custom ringtones, here's a checklist for you:
1) When you added them, did you check to make sure they had a ".m4r" file extension before you moved them into iTunes?
2) After you moved them, did they show up in your Ringtones section in iTunes, and they showed up in your ringtone selection list?
3) When you selected these ringtones for each contact, did they play?
4) After you assigned them to each contact, were you able to return later, open the contact, and see that it had the ringtone you thought you assigned to it?
5) Do you have duplicate contacts in your Contacts?

Custom Ringtones Suddenly Stopped Working--now silent

My custom ringtones that I PURCHASED and created through Itunes, and installed the normal way, have all of a sudden gone silent. I installed the ringtones when I got the phone, and they worked for two weeks. What happened?? No sync performed since. Tried to resync the ringtones & it didn't work. STILL SILENT!!

Did you accidentally flip the switch at the side of the phone to silent?

I have been able to create my own in the past but this no longer works!
I remember doing it in the distant past with an app that allowed access to your iPhone 3.. you just copied the m4r files there and the next time you looked they were there! I know this is a bit extreme and I really don't want to do that on my shiny new phone!

Duplicate your copy of iTunes 10.x before upgrading to iTunes 11 (or restore it from a backup) and use iTunes 10.x to listen to (and in particular access the links in) podcasts. Further, file a bug with Apple that these links don't work when the album art is displayed in the album art mini-player.

InfoPath 2013 customized forms no longer working after linking Sharepoint 2010 list to MS Access 2013 database

I am having trouble with my infopath form now that I have linked my Sharepoint list to an Access database.
Background: I created a simple SharePoint list and a few workflows to have users submit requests for changes to my organization's EMR system and have those requests be approved by the appropriate manager/department. I used
InfoPath to customize my form so that it would hide/show different portions depending on what the user selected. The form has 3 views: NewItem, EditItem, ViewItem.
Issue: The form and workflows were working great until I linked my SharePoint list to an access database so that I could run queries and reports using that information. Now when I click "Add New Item" on my Sharepoint site,
the correct form opens but the fields do not allow me to input any data and some of the formatting for the form has changed (ie: the text boxe fields are no longer centered. I opened the form in InfoPath and it displays perfectly fine in there but
not once it's published to the site) .
The only way that I've been able to input new data is using Datasheet view in SharePoint.
Is there a way to fix this issue? I really need to be able to have the customized forms for users to fill out the information since most users are not familiar enough with SharePoint to expect them to be able to use Datasheet view to submit their requests.
Again, I'm using InfoPath 2013, Access 2013 & SharePoint Server 2010
If the issue cannot be fixed, how can I disconnect or unlink my SharePoint list from the Access database because when I cliecked on "delete list" from inside Access, a warning popped up stating that it will also delete the list off of SharePoint
as well. If I can get the list back to the state it was in before linking to Access then I'll be happy enough to export it excel and then importh the excel file to Access as a work around for reporting purposes since I don't have to run the reports that
often.

I tested the same scenario per your post in my environment, however the InfoPath form was not affected if I used the list as external data in Access database.
The issue may be due to the browser you used.
I recommend to verify the things below:
Change another browser to see how it works.
Add the site to the trusted zone and add to compatibility settings in Internet Explorer.
Test with a new list to narrow down the issue scope.
As a workaround, you can save the list as a template including content, and then create a new list based on this template.

Custom Stamp no longer worker in Acrobat X

I created a custom stamp using Adobe X; not sure it was working the way it was suppose to but it still met my needs.
I used a PDF form which I created using Word, added some form fields and saved it.
Added the PDF form file as a custom stamp.
Opened another PDF document and was able to insert the custom stamp.....and this is where I don't know if it really worked correctly or not. The stamp was basically an image, none of the fields were accessible; I thought a PDF form would act like a dynamic stamp but it didn't work as I expected.
But if I opened the original PDF of the stamp and filled in the form fields & saved it and then inserted the custom stamp again, all the fields were updated/filled in.
But then for some reason my custom stamp disappeared from stamp pull down menu. And now when I try to add it back it creates an anonymous PDF file with the current form fields filled in. If I open the original PDF stamp and change any of the form fields and save it, the custom stamp doesn't update when I go and insert it again.
And if I delete that anonymous PDF file, my custom stamp again disappears from the stamp pull down menu.
This now happens with any PDF file I use to create a custom stamp; Acrobat X creates an anonymous PDF file.
If anyone has any idea how to fix this problem, it would be greatly appreciated.

Behavior for PDFs is not handled by SharePoint, but rather Adobe Acrobat. Validate Adobe Acrobat's PDF browser extension has been disabled (you can do this via IE and I believe Adobe Acrobat has this option within it's own Preferences).

IPhone 4s Ringtone No Longer Works

My message alert tone will only work if the message application is open on the screen. This applies to vibrate as well. The ringtones still go off when receiving phone calls, but never for text messages. Help!

After upgrading to Photoshop CS5, my custom shortcuts no longer work.

They show up correctly in my pull down menu bars but they no longer do anything when I hit the keys. I'm baffled enough to go back to CS4 where they still work. Anybody?

I just did the upgrade and imported my settings. Sorry but it's been
quite a while since my upgrade and I don't remember the specifics.
However, as I said, the shortcuts are displayed in the active pull
down menus just as the normal shortcuts are.

Downloaded Ringtones No Longer Work

All of my downloaded ringtones (from Verizon), suddenly stopped working last week. I utilize Tone Picker to play them, and while it can find the music files on the phone, it will not allow me to select them for ringtones. If I go into the VCast Music app, and select my Music, then "downloaded" from the albums list, it shows the list of downloaded ringtones that I purchased, but when I attempt to play them, it throws an error that says "Unable to play this type of audio file". It shows all the ringtones I downloaded from Verizon as .dm files. Why dont they play anymore? They have worked fine for the last 5 months, and now all of a sudden, they dont work. I uninstalled and resinstalled Tone Picker, to no avail. HELP!!! I forked out a decent amount of money for these ringtones from Verizon, so the fact that they dont work is pretty irritating..... Anyone have any fixes or suggestions???

did you also reset your phone already? To do reset, hold the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes up again, ignore the "slide to turn off" message.
If this does not work, a restore would be the next step.

Personal Ringtones No Longer Work

My personal ringtones do not play since updating to 7, I have check at each contact but when I recieve a call the ringtone is a default one. how do I correct this

Connect iPhone to computer iTunes, de-select ringtones, sync, select ringtones, sync again.

Custom Ringtones

I'm having an issue with my custom ringtones assigned to my contacts. The custom ringtone does not work when the contact that I have assigned the custom ringtone calls. I get the general ringtone that I use for all other calls. I have tried deleting the contact and reentering it and assigning the custom ringtone again but still nothing. I have even tried pulling the battery out after entering in the contact and custom ringtone but still nothing. I don't have caller ID from my wireless carrier, Rogers, but I was told I don't need it to make the custom ringtones work. I even called Rogers but they were no help. Can someone pleas give me some advice on how to fix this issue?

You may have an issue with your Sounds/Profiles database. Try clearing it and setting up all notifications again manually then testing the custom ringtones again. http://bbry.lv/lsuQXK

BPC V7 MS CUSTOM MENU DOES NOT WORK

We are in the process of upgrading from BPC V5 to BPC V7 Microsoft and my custom menu no longer works. I am using Windows XP Pro, Office 2007 and BPC 7.0. I have a file called M01Summary2.xlt which contains various graphs that change whenever the settings in the current view are changed. On my EV_DEFAULT worksheet the settings are: Action is HIGHLIGHT, P1 is Reports\Wizard\ProcessMenu\MenuReports\M01Summary2.xlt, P2 is blank, P3 is blank, P4 is DEFAULT. When I test the custom menu, the graphs do not appear on the EV_RESULT worksheet. I can change a cell on M01Summary2.xlt (say add a color to the cell), save the file and the test the custom menu again and the color will appear in EV_RESULT but not the graphs. Can anyone offer any suggestions to fix this problem? Does V7 not recognize graphs? Could it be the fact that I'm using Office 2007? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please check the SAP Note 1404813. It seems a well known behavior and it should have been fixed in 7.5 SP1.
It seems that this issue only happens when working with Excel 2007. With Excel 2003 all works fine.
