Custom screen area for notification

Dear Gurus ,
As per customer requirement I need to create a screen area called Z10 , how can I create the same .I can not use existing 090 / 091 custom screen areas , since I have devoloped the custom screen in screen area 090 as well as 091 but this screen areas are calling in another transactions also (like in IW21)which I must not modify.Please suggest me asap.

I don't wish to use the ones already present in the gallery. They do not meet my requirements. Therefore, I want to create/design my own screen layout for the responsive HTML5 output. Please let me know the steps to do so. How to create a SLZ file, what is the code that I need to write. What are the components that I need to create to have a complete screen layout to be used in a responsive HTML5 output.

That would require inline formatting and I doubt that is an option.
If I am following you, the header area is full width of the screen so I cannot see how it can be broader, Perhaps you mean deeper? A screenshot might help here. The change would be made in the layout.css file.
That would be a change in the layout.css.
I suspect that too is controlled by the layout.css.
To make the changes you would have to go into the layout.css and modify that. As you will see, it is a very complex CSS and that is why I said creating you own layout is not easy. Hopefully when Willam is available again, he may be able to give you some more specific information.
I think Willam will confirm that if you cannot read the existing CSS to make those changes, then creating your own skin would be beyond your capabilities. Please do not take any offence there, I am simply emphasising how complex a task it is to create a skin from scratch. It's not one I would take on.

I would like to implement the BADI BADI_EAM_SINGLELEVEL_LIST but when i search for it under t-code SE18 it doesn't exist. Is the BADI BADI_EAM_SINGLELEVEL_LIST found in SAP ECC 6.0 version?

Selecting screen area for training simulation

Hello all,
I want to create a software training simulation where a user
needs to select a certain area of screen and then click a button. I
can show them how this is done, but can not find how to have them
do this as part of training simulation. There does not seem to be
anything in Captivate that can allow the user to do this part.
If this can not be done natively in Captivate, I would
appreciate your ideas for a work around...
I thought of one as...
Instruct user that at the stage you would be selecting a
certain area of the screen and then go on to show them how to
select the area - ask them to just click the required button and
carry on with the rest of the training.

The selected area shows up with a marquee like marching ants,
however, they are not marching -just static (the selected area is
not high-lighted) - then user indicates their choice by clicking an
OK button.
In the normal use of the software the user selects a certain
portion of text that needs to be extracted - I would like to keep
the simulation training as close ot reality as possible.

QM01 - Add new fields under SUBJECTS tab for notification type Q2

Hi Experts,
My requirement is to add 2 new fields to the create Quality Notification (QM01) Tcode under SUBJECTS tab for Notification type Q2.
I followed the following steps to achieve this :
[ SPRO -> Quality Mnanagement -> Quality Notifications -> Overview Quality Notification Types -> Then I selected Q2 and then selected dcreen structure for extended view -> Double clicked on 10\TAB02 ].
Now I arrived on the screen where we have to define the custom screen area and screen number.
But here in this case (Q2 notification type) all the 5 screen areas are already occupied , so where can I add my custom subscreen ??

You can enter the more than two persons in but not on header screen. In operation you can make each seperate person responsible for each operation & that can be entered against each operation seperately. Also if operation is carried out by two person then also you can enter that in the form of split.
But it is not possible to enter two users in reported by field.
I hope this will resolve your issue.

Screen-exit for profit center creation - transaction KE51.

Hi All,
Background: The client has the requirement of importing profit centre master data from legacy system into SAP ECC system. Few of the legacy data could not be filled into existing sap fields, hence the requirement has been to populate the data into custom fields.
The client also has the requirement, that the same fields are required during online entry. For this we need to enhance the profit centre creation screen (transaction code KE51) with two additional custom fields.
Requirement: To enhance profit centre creation screen with custom fields. Screen-exit for KE51 transaction.
Pre-work: Program SAPLRKPM in SAP ECC system is the main program. It does not have any screen or sub screen area for custom fields addition. Debugged the program to check for screen-exits, found none.
Below user-exits are not either screen-exits or cannot be used for enhancing profit center screen.

PCA00002 Profit Center Accounting: derivation of representative mat.
PCA00003 Derive Partner Profit Center for External Deliveries

The requirement is to display custom fields on standard sap screen and there are no screen-exits. So, i suppose the standard screen has to be modified.

How to do a screen sequence for a standard transaction?

Hi experts -
I have a requirement that the business wants a field on transaction VL02N to be grayed out based on specific delivery types. I have been told that that would require a custom screen sequence to be developed.
(1) What is the best solution to accomplish this?
(2) If the solution is a custom screen sequence for the standard transaction code VL02N, then how is that done?

When one says "custom screen sequence" an Industry Solution that utilizes BDT, like Insurance or Gas/Oil comes to mind. Are you working with one of the BDT-based Industry Solutions in SAP? If so, customization by field-group or screen or view could be considered, but I think you'd find a much simpler way to do.
If not, one usually does this with an exit that allows control of screen elements, as does SD Order processing, a Badi implementation or enhancement in a PBO module for the screen to set the screen-input value to '0' for that field name.
You should, though, search the forums, since these kinds of questions are often asked....and answered....such as:

Custom Screen in Shopping cart

Hi Guys,
I am currently trying to use the BADi BBP_CUF_BADI to get a custom screen in my Shopping Cart header.
I created a new custom screen & followed all the steps required.
I implemented the BADI & actiavted it. To my surprise the custom screen that i cretaed is visible in the carryout sourcing section (instead of the shopping cart section). That is not what i require. I suppouse this is beacuse of the settings that are made in the BADI.
Under the subscreens tab of the BADI i have maintained the following values:
Call Program     : SAPLBBP_SC_UI_ITS
Scr.No              : 140
Subscreen area :   GC_SUB_COMPLETE_CUSTOMERFIELDS.
Can anyone tell me what details are to be maitained, so that we can get the custom screen in shopping cart section.

Note 825569 - Customer Field (CUF). Customer screens are not called
Note 458591 - User-defined fields: Preparation and use
Note 672960 - User-defined fields 2
Note 812679 - BBP_CUF_BADI calls the incorrect template
You should start with a training on web developement with Internet Transaction Server (ITS).
ITS is emulating SAP GUI transaction into a web transaction.
To do this you need:
- the SAP GUI transaction, program, PBO, PAI...
- the ITS templates
For each SAP transaction, there is an ITS service.
For each SAP dynpro, ITS requires an HTML template.
So if you use the BADI to call your custom screen (a dynpro from program Z), you must also create the corresponding HTML template.
If no template is provided, then ITS will use the webgui service to emulate the screen.
Pls reward suitable points.

How many Custom screens r allowed?

HI Experts,
Just curious to know, the following things,
1 - How many (customer)screen exits are allowed by SAP in a Transaction, say Sales Order? Is it 9?
2- Suppose, the requirement is like that, I kept a Push button on Sales Order transaction (SAP)screen, If I push this push button, I need to go to my_custom_screen and return back to SAP screen of Sales order screen. The whole process is Sales order transaction only! Is it possible, How?

There is no limitation to allow of custom screens.
as you mentioned Sales order
Sales order will allow 4 custom screens
2 for header level and 2 for item level
Screens are Additional data A ,Additional data B

Hiding fields in screen area 031

Hello Masters,
I have query on hiding following fields in Quality Notification screen area 031of Notification Type Q2:
1) Windows-32 bit box (big box/window under Description field)
2) Long Text icon available next to big box/window which is also available next to Description field in header
I tried 'Field Selection: General Screens' configuration under Define Screen Templates, was unable to hide above mentioned field(window) and icon.
I hope I was able to describe what issue is and will get some help from you masters.

Custom screen in BBP_CUF_BADI

Hi,
I know that this topic was discuss a million time on the forum, but I still didn't get how to put my customer fields in customer screen.
I append the structures as it's describe oss note 458591 and 672960 and use badi bbp_cuf_badi.
Everything is fine.
Now i want those fields to be display in a cutomer screen with its own template. So I create a function group where i add 2 function module: one for the put_data method and the second for the get_data method. I also create 2 screens in the Function group.
Now how I call thoses screens? simply by a "call screen" command?

If you use the following parameters
I_SCREEN_START_COLUMN             = 0
I_SCREEN_START_LINE               = 0
I_SCREEN_END_COLUMN               = 0
I_SCREEN_END_LINE                 = 0
you will get the output in the size expected but it will be in the form of a pop up box and a blank screen at the back and user action like cancel etc will take you back to the selection screen.

Scroll bar visible but not able to scroll in custom screen for IW21

Hi,
We are using custom tab (screen exit) in transaction for creating notifications (TCode IW21). Two subscreens are configured to be embedded in the tab, combined area of which is exceeding screen size vertically. The scroll bar is visible in the tab but is not able to scroll using mouse scroll, but can be dragged up and down.
Does anyone know how to make it scrollable or make the scroll bar visible at application level (not in tab) and make it working?

Work Manager 6.1: Adding custom field for notification creation

I already added new fields in the past, and also in WM6.1 for fetch BAPIs, but now I'm trying to do it for the NotificationAdd Transaction and I'm not able to make it work. I guess I forgot some step but I don't know which, so I will describe what I did:
Agentry:
Added new field to the Notification object
Added new field to the NotificationAdd Transaction
Added new field to the NotificationAdd Detail Screen
Java:
Created class Notification.java extending com.syclo.sap.component.lam.notification.object.Notification
Added new field to the new Notifciation class
Copied constructors calling super method.
Override method setProperties(User u, NotificationPostBAPI bapi). Now is calling the super method and afterwards setting the new field. Here is where I have the error when I debug, the u.getString("transaction.Z_NewField")) i returning an empty string because it's not finding the value when reading from the transaction.
Created class NotificaitonPostBAPI extending from com.syclo.sap.component.lam.notification.bapi.NotificationPostBAPI.Override method setHeaderParameters to set the value in the ABAP structure for the new field after calling the super method.
Configuration Portal:
Changed global parameter to assign the customer NotificationPostBAPI class
Created global parameter to assign a BAPI wrapper to the new customer NotificationPostBAPI class
Change the global parameter to assign the class for Notification object in order to use the new customer class
Do you know why during the setProperties method created in Java, Step1 the transaction value for the Z field is empty? It seems I'm forgetting something quite simple here.
