Custom service only working with one file, not multiple ones

Hi,
I created a service in which I can resize selected images through photoshop and format them for the web. I was able to successfully place this into a contextualized menu, which is awesome for me.
However, when I select a group of files in the finder, secondary click, and run the service, the action only completes the first file. The other files remain open in photoshop (they do not get resized, or saved).
What am I doing wrong?
My service workflow looks like this:
Service recieves selected "image files" in "any application"
Save for Web:
save to: "a web folder I made for this practice"
use "Adobe photoshop CS
type: jpeg
constrain size to 800 X 800
Then the second part of the workflow is"Make names Web-Friendly.
I found these plugins on Apples download page, called "save for web 2.5"
Any help would be great.

Safari is not working and siri only works with the phone not internet related questions.

I have an Iphone 5 and for about 8 months it worked find, then somewhere along the line I think about the time I upgraded to the latest OS, Safari stopped working. That is when I hit a link from email or open safari I get the browser window but nothing works, like its been blocked. Siri of course only works with internal serches, through contacts and such. My other browsers (crome, oprea and mercury) work fine. I have been through all the internal settigns I can find, but nothing has worked. Have cleared history cookes with no suceess. Any ideas?

Thank you for providing so much detail about the issue you are experiencing with Safari after upgrading to iOS 7.
The first thing I recommend is quitting and relaunching the applications on your iPhone:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.

If you are still seeing the same issue after quitting and relaunching the apps that are open, I recommend restarting your phone and then resetting if it's still not working:
Restarting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Note: Reset your device only if you are unable to restart it.
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

NB520, Replaced display, only work with AC power, not work with battery

I just replaced a broken display on my 7 months old Toshiba NB520 and now it only works with AC power.
The battery icon shows 52% but not charging.
When I plug out the AC power, it turns off.

PDF Embedding only work with rwservlet, and not rwserver?

For 9iAs 9.0.2.x the PDFEMBED command is documented as being allowed with rwservlet, but not rwserver. Since we are only running rwserver (for batch-only reports), does that mean that embedding PDF fonts in the reports will not happen?

File, Place only works with PDF files...why?

I create documents in Mac Pages that I want to then create an interactive PDF (mainly navigation). I am using the demo copy of Indesign to see if it fits the bill.
The mac pages doocument is a fully formated and ready for export to a static PDF. As a test, I took a few pages of it and exported it to pdf, word and rtf.
The only file format that InDesign would import/place is PDF (pages, word and rtf were all grayed out and could not be selected via ID place).
I had hoped that ID would inport/place pages directly, but I cannot seem to get it to import any format other than PDF.
I tried some other .doc files (actaully created with WORD) and they were selectable but only imported the table of contents (no red arrow an lower right of text box to continue place).
Any suggestions?

ID is certainly capable of placing RTF as well as native Word files (DOC and DOCX). What you're seeing is quite unusual.
Try trashing your preferences.
For the other DOC files, you need to hold down the shift key when click the page to place them.

How do I get PSE 8 to open just one file, not previous ones?

I just reinstalled PSE 8 (which I prefer to PSE 10) on my new iMac (using Lion 10.4.7; the previous iMac used Leopard 10.5.8) and when I click on a file in a folder or from Bridge to open it in PSE 8, the previous files I worked on also open. I can easily get to prevously worked on files through the drop-down menu, and it's annoying to have to close them when I don't want them opening when I start PSE 8. Any ideas, please? I've looked at Excel Preferences and System Preferences, to no avail.

This is mostly a lion thing, rather than a PSE thing. To disable applications opening where they left off last time for all the programs on your computer, go to system preferences>general and untick this box:
You can also do on a per-program basis, but it's more complicated and the best thing to do is to search around for directions on the web and see which way is least uncomfortable for you.
There's an odd little glitch in PSE that it opens the last image you had open, even if you closed it before quitting last time. Adobe says this is correct behavior, but of course it isn't.

Working with .wmv files on my new Mac

I have some videos that I downloaded onto my older pc that I would like to use in iMovie. Does anyone know how I can edit and/or convert it into a format to use on my mac?

You can use the shareware program ReelBean to convert your .wmv to an mpeg-4 file (I think it does this in the free mode, but if not a license is $15), and then import that iMovie.
To view the .wmv files, you need the freeware Flip4Mac. I suspect you will need the components installed by Flip4Mac for ReelBean to work with wmv files - not sure, but it won't hurt to install it.

I am getting a bit concerned about what is happening in your situation. Yesterday you posted your question in at least two different forums, one of them being here in the Premiere Elements Forum.

Wherever you posted, the reply was to contact Adobe via its Adobe Chat. It is the only one who can sort out this matter for you.
In the thread cited above I offered to help you with the difficulties that you were having visualizing the Adobe Chat in its web page. I was waiting for your follow up on that in the above thread. Instead, I find your same question in a new Adobe Premiere Elements Forum thread this afternoon with no refer the prior threads or prior recommendations given you.
I will also mention again...when you buy the Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements bundled in one packaging and with installation files for each on the same installation disc, each program has its own serial number. The Photoshop Elements serial number does not work for Premiere Elements and vice versa. The serial numbers are on labels on a box which houses the installation disc envelope(s). So, if you purchased both programs and found the Photoshop Elements serial number, then the Premiere Elements serial number should be in a label right underneath the label with the serial number for Photoshop Elements. I recall writing this in your yesterday's thread on this matter.
The moderator will no doubt be along shortly to close or delete this thread. So, just in case, please bookmark your yesterday's thread cited above so that we can continue this communication which is trying to help you.

I've just updated OS to 10.10.1 and Finder keeps trying to open and then closes every 2 seconds with the message Finder is not Available. If Safari is opened full window it immediately closes and will only work with window smaller than maximum.

Has anyone not working with .dv files had synchronization problems?

Has anyone not working with .dv files had sound synchronization problems? I'm not exactly sure what the alternatives to DV are, but I think one of them is HD.
The reason for asking this question is to help isolate the nature and cause of a very serious flaw in iMovie '11. In the original release of iMovie '11 (version 9.0) there was a small--but serious--synchronization problem. In the 9.01 there is a large synchronization problem. We know of one person who has not experienced the problem, and he is not working with DV files (media). So we want to find out if anyone who is using something other than .dv files is experiencing a lack of synchronization between sound and picture. Knowing the answer to this will help with figuring out where the cause lies. For the initial iMovie '11 release (9.0), you probably would not notice a problem unless you had very long event-clips, e.g., two hours long. Events get this long if you are transferring from analog 8 mm tapes. Even then, it would have to be in scenes in which the connection between event and sound is obvious, e.g., close ups of people talking. It isn't until the 9.01 release that most people would notice anything. All we need to do is establish one case of a synchronization problem in which the person is using something other than DV.

If you want it to be colored, you'll need to create a color-palette for the 8bppIndexed bitmaps. The keyword for this process is "Color-Quantization".
The whole yellow-green pie you get is from the wrong format. If you convert the 32bpp bitmaps to 24 bpp bitmaps, you loose the alpha channel ("transparency"). You can manually set one color to "transparent" with the mMakeTransparent-method
of the Bitmap class, or simply use gif-images (they are 8bpp with a transparent "key"-color)

Caching service only works for OS X updates and not for Apps

It seems that my OS X Server Caching service only works for Apple OS X Software Updates (in Mac App Store updates, when the icon of Mountain Lion appears). I see it in my logs in verbose mode when I download an Apple OS X Software Updates and not when I download an app in Mac Appstore.
So I'm sure my Caching service works but not for all downloads.
Why ? What's wrong with my server ?
I read in some blogs that Caching Server can work for iOS devices appstore too. I try to download some apps with my iphone but nothing happens in logs ...
Can somebody help me about the Caching Server ?
