  • How to change "Your current options" to become our custom label

    Dear All,
    how to change "Your current options" in the IP Phone display, to become our custom label?
    Thanks,
    Jerri

    Hi jerry,
    I don't know if it works out or not but if you want to try then refer below steps
    1). download SCCP-dictionary.utf-8.xml from CUCM (tftp -i GET SCCP-dictionary.utf-8.xml)
    2). Edit that file which contains "Your current options" as per your requirement and save it.
    3). Upload file to all tftp servers (if you have multiple).
    4). Restart tftp service of all tftp servers (if you have multiple).
    If restarting tftp service don't help you then try to do factory reset of the phone.

    You cannot change it, in CCM it was possible due to it being Windows and you had access to all the files.
    CUCM does not grant access to the necessary files for this unless you have root access and it's not granted for purposes other than troubleshooting or to apply a workaround from a bug.

  • How can you add your own print and export buttons to the CR viewer toolbar?

    I posted a previous question that was asking how to get around the Information Bar in IE7 when you export and print.  Unfortunately the CR viewer file download code gets blocked by IE7 because the buttons don't directly download the file.  However, I have been able to get a regular button that calls the following code and streams the file to the client and IE7 does not block it.
    Sub PrintPDF(sender As Object, e As System.EventArgs)
         Dim crReportDocument as ReportDocument
         Dim crExportOptions as ExportOptions
         Dim crDiskFileDestinationOptions as DiskFileDestinationOptions
         Dim Fname as string
         CrReportDocument = New ReportDocument()
         CrReportDocument.Load(Server.MapPath("estactionlist.rpt"))
         Fname = Server.MapPath("./") & Session.SessionID.ToString & ".pdf"
         CrDiskFileDestinationOptions = New DiskFileDestinationOptions()
         CrDiskFileDestinationOptions.DiskFileName = FName
         CrExportOptions = crReportDocument.ExportOptions
         With crExportOptions
              .DestinationOptions = CrDiskFileDestinationOptions
              .ExportDestinationType = ExportDestinationType.DiskFile
              .ExportFormatType = ExportFormatType.PortableDocFormat
         End With
         CrReportDocument.Export()
         Response.ClearContent()
         Response.ClearHeaders()
                    Response.AddHeader("content-disposition", "attachment;filename=test.pdf")
                    Response.ContentType = "application/pdf"
                    Response.Charset = ""
                    Response.WriteFile(Fname)
                    Response.Flush()
         Response.Close()
         System.IO.File.Delete(Fname)
    End Sub
    So here are my questions?
    1. Is it possible to add a custom print control/icon to the CR viewer toolbar?
    2. If one is not possible, then is it possible to override the CR viewer print and export buttons with your own subroutines like the one above?
    I just want my page to look nice and hate to have print and export buttons outside of my CR viewer.
    Thanks,
    Kevin

    It might be possible to replace the buttons in a windows app since you can retrieve the toolbar as a toolbar object in the winform viewer  ( ToolStrip toolBar = (ToolStrip) crystalReportViewer1.Controls[3]; )  however with a web app, it's a lot more difficult.
    The problem is that that you need to parse the Request string to try and figure out if the print / export button was clicked.  The code below makes the print button disappear if you click it, so you should be able to modify it to call your custom printing / exporting code instead  (You have to do this check in a postback)
            Dim I As Integer = 0
            If Request.Form.AllKeys.Length > 0 Then
                For I = 0 To Request.Form.AllKeys.Length - 1
                    Response.Write(Request.Form.Keys(I).ToString & "<BR>")
                    If Request.Form.Keys(I).ToString = "CrystalReportViewer2:_ctl2:_ctl2.x" Then
                        CrystalReportViewer2.HasPrintButton = False
                    End If
                Next
           End If

  • CME not creating custom SEP MacAddress .cnf.xml files, using XMLDefault.cnf.xml for phones

    Hello, I have CME 8.6 installed on two 2851s and before going into production, I am testing a few phones.
    One of my 2851's is creating cnf.xml files for each phone using SEP<Mac address>.cnf.xml and the other one will not and the phones keep booting up with XMLDefault.cnf.xml.
    I've looked at both configurations and I can't see what the difference is. Other than not being able to create the SEP<MacAddress>.cnf.xml files, the phones appear to be loading up fine.
    One difference I see is the "its" directory is located on system: on the one that creates the cnf files, and the "its" directory is located in flash on the one that doesn't, although I don't know how that matters.
    Below is the one that doesn't create the SEP<MACADDRESS>.cnf.xml files for phones:

    Hello, and thanks for the good advice. I did try and added the cnf perphone command and ran no create cnf-files and then create cnf-files, but unfortunately its still not making them.
    Also, from the other few CME installations I've seen, all of the information is in flash, but for some reason when I xtracted the tar for this CME, it's showing up in system: ? Could that be a problem?  Here is what I see:

BECAUSE MY 2 YEARS CONTRACT EXPIRED IN 4 MONTHS AND IF THEY DON'T GET ME THE SAME DEAL THEY ARE OFFERING TO THEIR NEW CUSTOMER, I WILL BE LOOKING FOR THEIR COMPETITOR.  I MEAN THEY NEE DOT ADD IN THEIR DICTIONARY WHAT LOYAL CUSTOMERS MEANS OR LOOK INTO HOW TO KEEP YOUR CURRENT CUSTOMERS, I MEAN I MIGHT NOT EVEN CARE IF THEY STOP SENDING ME ALL THESE ADS ALMOST EVERYWEEK ABOUT ALL THESE GREAT DEALS NEW CUSTOMERS GET, I FEEL LIKE CHEATED....BY THE WAY, I HAVE BEEN WITH VERIZON FOR 6 YEARS NOW....AND I AM CERTAIN, I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE, IF YOU ARE CURRENT CUSTOMER LIKE ME YOU WILL CERTAINLY WILL AGREE IF YOU SEE WHAT THEY ARE OFFERING TO NEW CUSTOMER....YOU WILL FEEL LIKE BETRAYED.....

    ... Why treat long time loyal customers who want to re-up with Verizon worse than potential new customers?  Discounts should be for all customers, especially long time loyal ones
    If everyone gets the same low prices, all of the time, forever, then what exactly is your definition of "discount"?

  • "Can't open your current phone library using this version of iPhoto"

    I installed iLife '09 on 12/17 and was able to use iPhoto up until last night when all of a sudden it said "The Photo Library needs to be upgraded to work with this version of iPhoto" so I clicked "upgrade" and received the following message:
    "You can't open your current photo library using this version of iPhoto"
    Please help!! how come all of a sudden I can't open iPhoto???
    thank you!

    Welcome to the Apple Discussions.
    This is sometimes a symptom of a damaged database.
    Option 1
    Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
    If that fails:
    Option 2
    Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords, faces and places back.
    Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

  • Can you add a second phone number or line to your current account on an iPhone 5s?

    Can you have a second phone number or line to your current account on an iPhone 5s?

    If the carrier allows call forwarding,  you can forward calls from one number to another.
    No iPhone supports dual SIMs.

  • By deleting texts on your phone does that delete them on your computer?

    Well my sister got a new Mac. Book and she lets my family use it. So on my account I signed in For the iMessage and I was wondering if deleted texts onmy iPhone would they go away on the computer because I don't want them reading my texts.

    no, deleting a text on your iPhone (one which is sent or recieved from iPhone to iPhone), will not delete it from "Messages" on the Mac, you need to delete it from Messages on the Mac as well.

  • Importing into Address Book with Custom Fields from a Text File.

    Hello
    I'm a teacher and like to create contacts for my students. The information that I want in each contact besides their name, email address and phone number are their
    student id's, semester enrolled, class number and class title. For these four fields I create a "Custom" field with the appropriate names: "ID", "Term", "Course" and "Class" respectively.
    All this information I can download from the school's server in a CSV file.
    To import the information into Address Book, I choose "File -> Import -> Text File" and then select the CSV file that I downloaded. The import utility opens up correctly showing all the fields I would like to import, however, many of the fields are marked as "Do not import." When I click on that term to select my Custom fields, they do not show up. Is this a bug or "feature" of the Address Book? It seems to me that if you are allowed to create useful custom fields, you should be able to import data into them as well.
    If I'm just ignorant of how to do this, I would appreciate some help. If there is no way to currently do this efficiently, it would be nice to have this feature added to the Address book in the near future.
    Thanks for your consideration,
    Gary

    Thanks for posting your question and the reply from rojok...
    I'm a teacher as well - in Entourage I was able to just copy a column of email addresses (say from an Excel spreadsheet, downloaded from the school's server here at U MD) and then create a group and simply paste that list into the group. Address Book makes you do the extra step of importing all the addresses first. (Note: Your last imported list of contacts in this manner shows up as "Last Import" in the groups lists column to the left in Address Book - so to add contacts to a Group there, you select that Last Import group, click once in that list column one contact, say, then select all of the list - then Command + A, for select all - then drag them all to your group you've made - i.e. "MySpringClassList"). This is NOT very intuitive I might add and incredibly cumbersome of a process.
    To get around the customizable info I needed to import... I just chose options that I don't regularly use for those things I needed to import - i.e. student I.D., these I placed under "ICQ Other" - that way they're imported at least.
    Good luck,
    Andrew
