Customer exit EXIT_SAPLRSAP_001 is not working

Hi all,
Customer exit EXIT_SAPLRSAP_001 for transaction data is not working for
2LIS_12_VCSCL. But its working for all other datasources.
This is the new data source we are planning to use. And we have added three new fields to it.To fill up these fields we have write some logic.When extracted data for
2LIS_12_VCSCL in RSA3 in debug mode.. its not stopping at all.
I think we have to do some setting..
Please suggest something..

Hi all,
I have two custom tables -- 1) XXX_DIE_Headers
2) XXX_DIE_LINES
I developed a Master Detail form based on above tables. XXX_DIE_Headers is the Master Block (Single record) & XXX_DIE_LINES is the detail block ( Multi line block ).
Yes, I used Appstand,Template.fmb for developing this form. The Master block has three fields out of which Two are required fields and i have given initial value for them.
As i deployed it in APPS(EBS),everything about it is working fine (insert,delete,master-detail behaviour) except querying.
When i press F-11 , It pops up a message "Do you want to save changes you have made" Choice - yes,no,cancel.
I don't want this message to pop up.
The scenario is :- I open the form.( without entering ) Press F11 . The message Pops up.
Please give me suggession on how to work it around so as form directly goes to query mode ,without popping the message.

It seems that you are changing a database value in your form, do you have any changes in WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE???
what the form is trying to tell you that you have changed something, do you want to save it?
I suggest you debug your form and see what's happening step by step.

Currency conversion type by customer exit variable doesn't work

Hi all.
In my query I need amounts by quarter, applying quarters last date rates as currency conversion.
Query has Year parameter. Based on this parameter, by customer exits I calculate every quarters last date and use them as currency conversion types.
The problem is that query DOESN'T APPLY currency conversions!
I checked TCURR table - currency conversions do exist for applied days
I checked my customer exits - the date calculation works fine
I suppose where is something wrong in query processes (customer exits/currency conversions) sequence before running it.
Someone knows anything 'bout that?

Drawing with a custom profile stroke is not working for me. Does it work for you?
I can only apply it on an existing stroke but can't draw a new one with the selected profile. In fact if I change the profile to other than the default Uniform I also can't draw a new stroke with any other width than the default 1 point. This doesn't seem normal.
Using SC5 on a PC.

Another question on the same topic.
Once I add a new profile to the list is it possible to put it on top of the list. I need this because the Adobe people decided to put the list in a tiny scrollable window with only a few of the first profiles showing. If there is noting in the interface may be I have to modify some program files settings?

Customer Ext Variable is NOT working correctly in the Restricted Key Figure

Hi all,
   I have created a variable ZVCBLMTH (Period from 01/1996 to Last Month) with reference to
    0CALMONTH and it will be populated through Customer Exit and it works fine.
    In the selection for 0CALMONTH, I gave the range as '05/2008' to '08/2008' and this new
    variable passed the value of range as '01/1996' to '04/2008' in RSRT.
    The properties of the variable are:
          Type of Variable - Characteristic, Processing by - Customer Exit, Variable Represents - Interval
          and Variable is - Optional.
          No change in the result after changing the 'Variable is' from Optional to 'Mandatory'.
This variable is used in Restricted Key Figure to calculate the number of matching records between
   01/1996 & 04/2008 and somehow it is not recognizing this variable and NOT passing the results correctly.
   But, there are records with 0CALMONTH between 01/1996 & 04/2008.
   How could I test that which value is passed into the Restricted Key Figure for this variable, PLEASE ?

I agreed on your point. When we define the Internal table the type for element EQUNR & QUMNR , we are referring the SAP data element for EQUNR, QMNUM field.
Our doubt is even though we refer the standard data element, in the ALV display, it shows with leading zeros and also it creates problems in the filtering and in the filter window all values instead of unique nos.

When you variable result displays the variable name inside &...& means the variable is not deriving a value.
Make sure the variable &MD_VAR_KF& is defined as a Text variable and as an Exit variable. Otherwise it won't process it in the exit.
If Fiscal Period is dependent on Fiscal Year Variant (I can't remember off-hand) then the variant key will preceed the Fiscal Period value in the variable, and the value is always processed based on internal format YYYYMMM. So your substring will be +6(3) if FYV dependent, and +4(3) otherwise.
You have focused the issue on the code but didn't clarify how you defined the variable itself. If these settings are correct then you need to debug the code to see what part works and what doesn't, then provide more details.

In Editable ALV the BACK/CANCEL/EXIT buttons are not working?

I wrote a editable FM based ALV, working fine that when user changes the data and press SAVE button, values are transfering into prog. But, i need to put a validation that, if user changes the values and press BACK/CANCEL/EXIT button, i need to popup the message that "Do you want to save changes", my PF-STATUS is good(because, SAVE is working).
But, its not working that when user done changes and press BACK button (forgot to press SAVE button), system taking me to selection screen/screen 0!! I my code is as below,

Exit and Rewind not working in 5.5

Hello,
I have an assessment built in v5.5. When the assessment is in the LMS and is exited, it does not rewind. This problem has happened before when I upgraded from 4.0 to 5.0 and the resolution was to replace the default.htm file (located in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 5.5\Templates\Publish\SCORM\1_2 and C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 5.5\Templates\Publish\SCORM\2004) with a default_Intergrity.htm file and replace that with the default.htm files before publishing. Does anyone know of a solution or an updated default_Intergrity.htm to resolve this. Thanks!

Restarted Safari and it now appears to be working correctly. Fingers crossed.
I have been running Activity Monitor in the background and it appears the memory issues have been solved. Safari Web Content is not using a progressivley increasing amount of memory.

MDT - Custom Reference Image does not work with Task Sequence, normal Windows 7 Enterprise Iso media works fine.

Our MDT server is acting strange!
I have previously had this system running without problem - i could both capture and deploy computers as is and no changes have been made to mdt.
But my latest capture does not work. When i capture my reference maching in my VM environment it completes without errors and i can import the latest wim file.
When i deploy the tast sequence, it install the custom Wim image, but it ends up with "login" screen as the administrator i have entered for the capture/deploy sequence, but it goes to stop at this point and applications is not installed.
If i change the ISO in the task sequence under Install OS step, to a clean Win7 install media then the capture completes and install applications.
I have also tried to:
Capture reference without password
Capture reference without Windows updates

Captivate 7 exit button does not work when published to LMS

I recently published a course using Captivate 7 and uploaded it to our LMS. During the review of the course it was noticed that the Close or Exit button on the controller did not work in IE. However, it did work in Chrome.
I have looked through this forum and found that there were similar issue with older versions of Captivate. However, we have course published with Captivate 6 on our LMS in which the Close or Exit button does work.
Does anybody have a solution for this problem? Do we know if there is an update scheduled to fix this problem?

1. Create a button in Captivate and assign a javascript call to "MyExit()"
2. Create a .js file called CourseExit.js.
3. Place the following code into that file.

I was able to set this up on the set up files on the local hard disk but so all I had to do was create a button and add the "MyExit()" code to the button, but when the next update came out it reset the hard disk files. So, I have just resorted to updating the output file as seen above.

Custom Actions in WD4VC not working

Hi,
I created a composite iview, in that created a form, start point and endpoint.
The form has 2 buttons submit (standard action) and publish (custom action).
In endpoint i have 2 boolean variables for ResultState.
Similarly i have another composite iview.
Using this WD4VC applications i created callable objects in GP.
But all the custom actions defined in composite iviews are not working only the stadard submit action is working.
Kindly guide me or if you have any tutorial would be really helpful.

Custom lock screen GPO not working for domain users

I have a WS2012 standard server with W8 Pro clients. I'm trying to force the lock screen to a .jpg however it's not working, it leaves the users with just a standard blueish screen.
I have the "force a specific default lock screen image" enabled with the path \\MRS-DC\WP\mrc_lock_screen.jpg
The GPO is being applied according to the results wizard, however no image. What gives?

In addition, please check your below policy:
Prevent changing lock screen image under Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Control Panel\Personalization
Disable it and check the result also.

Custom event log is not working in SharePoint server

Hi ,
We are trying to implement event logging in our application. We have created separate event source for our application. When we testing this our local dev machine it is working without any problem. when I try to test the same in higher environment (QA, Pre-prod)
it is not working. The QA environment is a multi form server. We are able to see the event source in the event viewer, but the logging is not happening. We have tried restarting IIS, restarting the services.
Any suggestion or guidance will be highly appreciated.

Logging should use the SharePoint Unified Logging Services (ULS) infrastructure.
Logging to the Event Viewer requires ADMIN PERMISSION... which is why it works fine in DEV, and not in TEST/PROD.
DO NOT LOG TO THE EVENT VIEWER... OR USE ANY OTHER HOME GROWN CONCOCTION... USE THE LOGGING FRAMEWORK PROVIDED BY THE PLATFORM.

Custom privacy settings do not work. It either remebers all hsitory, or none. Dumps all cookies, even ones on exception list. Need to fix it. Help menu is j

I have two websites I need to remember the cookies for. If not, I am forced to verify my computer every login. I have read the troubleshooting, done what it says, and none of it works. I tell it to remember specific sites, enter them, and it still forgets them when I exit the program. If I tell it remember everything, it remembers stuff I don't want. I have went into the about permissions thing. The two websites are listed, the setting choices tell me nothing. I have no idea what does what, as it is not defined. All I know is the two websites are listed, yet it is still controlled by the privacy tab/allow exceptions - or - never remember anything.

Could I suggest that you set your Privacy tab to "Firefox will: Use custom settings for history" and then use these settings for cookies:
[X] Accept cookies from sites
Accept third-party cookies: Always
Keep until: I close Firefox
In the Exceptions dialog, for the two sites where you want cookies to be remembered longer than just the current session, create exceptions using the base domain. In other words, if it's www.example.com, create an exception for example.com set to Allow.
Uncheck the box for "Clear history when Firefox closes" or if you want to use that for things other than cookies, use the Settings button to de-select cookies.
Any luck with this combination?
