I'm trying to find or develop a file upload utility or custom user interface rather than editing and adding file type item to a page. There is a free portlet for file upload in Knowledge Exchange resources, but it is for 3.0.9 release. I'm using portal 9.0.2.
I could not any sample about the new release. Also API such as wwsbr_api that is used to add item to content areas is out dated.
I create a page with a region for "items". When "edit" page and try to add an "file" type item the generated url is sth like this;
"http://host:7779/pls/portal/PORTAL.wwv_additem.selectitemtype****"
After selecting item type as a simple file autogenerated url is sth. like ;
"http://host:7779/pls/portal/PORTAL.wwv_add_wizard.edititem"
I made search about these API but could not find anything (in PDK PL/SQL API help, too).
I need this very urgent for a proof of consept study for a customer.

Cannot change setting in privacy from remember history to use custom settings for history. I can set in to change but on closing with the ok button thus closing the privacy tab, it then reverts back to remember history.

I have been by a web sit that the cookies are disabled in the browser. on looking at the help on firefox help the instuction as i understand was to change the setting under the privacy tab ref history fromthe default setting of rember hhistory to use custom settings for history. I change the setting click ok but it reverts back to rember history. I just cannot change the setting.This also happend in the prevous version.

To see History and Cookie settings in Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting <b>Firefox will: Use custom settings for history</b>
You need to make at least one change to make "Use Custom settings" stay selected.
If all history settings are the default then the History and Cookie setting revert to "Remember history" the next time you open Tools > Options > Privacy.
So it looks that your cookie setting are already correct.

Multiple inbox presentation for differents roles

Hello,
We have two projects deployed on the same BPM server. We want to assign a custom presentation for inbox for each project because we want to display differents columns for each project. We want to keep the funcionality given by inbox, bookmarks and history views but displayed with their custom columns on each project. Is it possible? How could we do it?
Note: We know that if each user customize their workspace they could do it but we are looking for a solution to avoid customization of workspaces one by one.

I have tried it, but I can't customize inbox view. On BPM Studio, we create a new layout for our new process. For this new layout I add inbox view. After it I click on 'add/remove columns' to customize columns showed. I export the project to BPM Enterprise, and I can see the new layout, but it has default inbox columns.
Second try. I have created a new instance view named 'myPresentation' with custom columns. Then, at Engine Preferences -> Implantation. Click on 'Generate default views', select 'unified inbox' on first list box and 'myPresentation' on second list box. But takes no effect.
What am I doing wrong? What are 'Engine Preferences' -> 'Implantation' attributes for? Im I on the right way? I think this issue would be easy to solve but I can't do it.

We have requirement of printing one account statement for customer present in more than one company code.
Program RFKORD10 generates more than one statements for customer present in more than one company code.
Please suggest if any customiztion or program changes need to be done for above issue.

If customer is present in more than one company code then you can config in different co codes.
Now could you brief your requirement, i think you want to print only once and system should print in both company codes at one time. Is it like that?

Yea I am. I deleted Logic Pro 9 and moved the App to the Trashcan like normal. Then when I go to install it, it says its already Installed. When I do this with other apps; it works fine, the install thing comes back up like it should once you have deleted the app

Is it possible to create custom buttons for quizzes in Adobe Presenter?

My company is not happy with the quiz buttons in Adobe Presenter and I was wondering if it is possibe to create custom buttons for quizzes and use them as defaults. Like you can do in Captivate. I'm using Adobe Presenter 8 in Windows 7.

The idea is to have a hit area on your custom component (a corner, or all corners). You capture the mouseposition when you mousedown then in the mouse move eventlistener you update the object size with the difference between current X and Y from initial X and Y.

I have had a Thunderbird Custom Button for my FF toolbar and have lost it. This happened once before had someone gave me a website where all of the old custom buttons qwe listwed and I was able to drag & drop the button from there.
